The Kids Dentist Plus employees are amazing. This location (Arden), however, works on multiple patients at one time. Prepare to wait longer than usual timeframes compared to the other locations in the Sacramento area.

I have Michael as my hygienist and he done an amazing job! He’s very caring about his patients’ concerns and takes the time to make sure you are comfortable. He is very personable and I look forward to working with him in the future.

The place is good and nice staff, but the only thing that im not really understanding was I had a co pay of $120.00 for my sons deep cleaning. I asked my insurance about that charges weeks before the date of procedure. My insurance told me due to the deep cleaning procedure, they would covered pretty much most the cost and i will just need to pay a co pay $120.00 which may be for the dentist special meds into the mouth. Im not entirely sure if it was for numbness or something. Soon after the cleaning was done, i asked the Hygienist if my son was given any sort of med to numb the deep cleaning. The hygienist told me it wasnt necessary because it wasnt like a deep cleaning. I then say, oh i thought it was a deep cleaning procedure? Hygienist replyed saying it was somewhat between the gum line too so its technically considerd a deep cleaning as well. Anyway, my point to this is, Im not really sure if the procedure literally just cost 120 or due to the fact that it was charged for the use of the special meds. The dentist did a wonderful job in a timely manner, dont get me wrong but i just hope that they are being honest not only to me but to everyone elses.

Took my faince here. The staff were very friendly, and eveb though they were busy our visit went smoothly.

So I will start by saying it’s very rare for me to give a place 5 stars. I am very particular about my services and I’m typically never 100% happy. My 5 year old son Christian was referred out to receive dental work under sedation due to some slight anxiety as well as not being able to sit still. In all Christian needed 8 teeth worked on. At first I became frustrated with this place because they seemed impossible to get ahold of, but once they finally contacted me I will say it 100% changed, I believe her name is Carla, she’s the receptionist and she worked very closely with me to get a appointment before my actual appointment date because she knew Christian was in some pain. At first cancellation she called me and set me up, I was having so much anxiety and so upset knowing my son needed sedation, Carla sat on the phone with me and talked to me with extreme patience answering all my questions and never making me feel like an inconvenience. Now going into the anesthesiologist, he called me the night before and as well was very patient with me and answered all my questioned and assured me Christian was in great hands. They ultimately put a lot of my anxiety at ease. The dentist who did the actual work I cannot remember her name, but she was very straight to the point on the procedure but as well very kind. After all said and done the procedure took around a hour in half . All and all it went so great and I could not be more happier! So thank you to the team at smile time dental on Arden way in Sacramento, you guys truly are amazing and your patience and understanding seriously goes along way!

I had my appt with Dr. Jack he is amazing. Always does a great job and I apperocate him. Today his assistant was Elyse amazing I feel she was on her game new exactly how to support Dr. Jack and I felt she was on point with all the tools and over help. I wish she will be assisting him everytime I visit.Grwat

This was by far the best experience Ive ever had with any dentist before. Everyone is super friendly and very informative about all the procedures. They also accept denti-cal which is great. It made the 5 hour drive from Arcata definitely worth it. Highly recommend.

Great and friendly staff at Arden Location

We had an amazing experience at Smile Time Dental. The team provided excellent service from the receptionist to the dental assistant Torey, she was patient, caring, and empathetic. My son accomplished a milestone when it came to the xray. Thats how good she is.Also, Dr. Martha was professional and kind. She realized quickly my son was getting anxious so she was able to efficiently and quickly go through everything.Thank you again for being wonderful.

I took my 7 year old son Michael to smile time, to see Dr. Jack and his staff, this week for an appointment. Everyone was great and very friendly and welcoming to both me and my son. I couldnt have had a better experience or asked for better care from any other dental office. Dr. Jack takes care of his clients like family and is as skilled as they come. I look forward to seeing him and the rest of the staff the next time my son or I come in for a check up.

Dr Renee did a fantastic job on my sons crown and filling, he wasn’t stressed or upset, she kept him calm and made him comfortable! This was the best experience he’s ever had! I will be back! Renee and Ari made a great team and nice experience for my 7 year old son!

The only great thing that they did for my at this dental office was that they were able to fix my broken tooth filling. But the bad thing about my visit was that recommend by the dental doctor was that I need a Deep cleaning. This was never suggested to me before by any other dental office. In my x-ray no cavities. I asked to have done just my regular dental care cleaning I was told no that i first need to have the deep cleaning done. I know that’s a elected procedure not required that’s up to us as patients to decide whether or not we want that done. I called my dental insurance they agreed with me that in fact if I don’t want to have that done and have my regular dental cleaning would be ok. I asked to see a other dentist for a second opinion. I went to see a other dentist office was told that I did not need a deep cleaning my teeth were just fine. This office was just trying to get me for my money and my insurance. I would not recommend this dental office to others.

Got here at 2:20 for a 2:30 appointment. Told I was late because I needed to be here 15 minutes early to fill out medical history paperwork that took all of 5 minutes.Its now 3:05 pm and Im told I wont be seen for another 20 minutes at the earliest, because again, I was late. Unprofessional desk staff that blames their scheduling issues on the patient. Wont be back again.Update: 3:30, still have not been seen. Only one in the office.

I was going to wait until my daughter got some work done to write this review, but Im so impressed I cant wait.First of...Shianne...super cool lady. I hope she will forever be the tech we have the pleasure working with. My daughter has super high anxiety about dentists but Shianne helped melt all that away. She not only reassured and comforted her, but she related her own personal bad experiences and kept my kid informed so she wasnt constantly freaking out about every move made. Much appreciation for that.Then Dr. Martha!!! Just came in, checked her teeth...and when she noticed my little girls anxiety kicking in just very calmly and I dare say lovingly started talking to her while simultaneously giving the assistant the info she need. Prestine!!! Best dentist experience ever. Looking forward to going back for the actual cleaning in a few weeks.

Absolutely love the staff at this office! I was so nervous going to a new dentist but a friend recommended SmileTime so I gave them a try. The hygienist Taylor was so gentle with my mouth and did a good job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Gorman took the time to explain everything necessary. Cant wait to have my husband see them next!

Amazing service! No wait time, very clean and peaceful atmosphere! Tanica and dr. Martha did wonderful job, so fast, my 7 yo did not feel any pain and was not scared. Coming back here next time!

BAD SERVICE**DO NOT RECOMMEND**The office is set up really weird. They dont have a receptionist, you have to speak to a person on the computer and they do not have a fax. The dentists were very accommodating to my special needs daughter, HOWEVER, the insurance and authorizations dept is a DISASTER. They attempted to work on my daughter at the beginning of November 2016 (another ridiculous rule, but thats an insurance issue) my daughter has 2 forms of insurance for her hospital dentistry and I clearly explained this to them. Today is May 10th and we are still waiting. They do NO follow up with any insurance. When they received the wrong authorization they should have called me or the insurance company. They dont. They just throw it in the folder and forget about it. And when you call to follow up, you have to speak with a middle man who places you on hold while they e-mail the person not doing their job. I DO NOT recommend this place for special needs children!!

Very poor customer service. They called me to be in their location at 6 Am in the morning and my son was fasting since 10 Pm last night. The doctor didn’t show up until 7 Am. They call two patients at the same time, and they have only one dentist. The second patient has to wait for many hours until the first patient finishes which is insane and frustrating.

I absolutely love bringing my child here the doctor and the assistants are so kind and patient. Definitely always a good experience!

Rude expects to much from a sensory kid and had no and I mean ZERO compassion when my daughter anxiety attack started. Made me feel like I didnt know how to control my child! 1 plus hour waiting.
