This is not the dentist office you dread! All of the staff is personable, friendly and ensure you are comfortable. Whether they are cleaning your teeth or placing a crown the attention you will receive will put you at ease. I had a crown that was bothering me and Dr Dunn insisted I come in even though my child care had fallen through. Dr. Dunn didn’t want me to be uncomfortable for even one more day, I don’t think it gets any better than putting your patients care first!

Dr. Phillips and his staff are the best! I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a dentist. They have the best and newest equipment and everyone is so nice.

First time in here! I recently moved to US and I cant even explain how anxious I was in having my teeth check someplace else rather than my regular dentist (back home!) This place is amazing! Staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I have many visits ahead since my procedure is kinda serious. Cant wait to see the outcome. Definitely recommend!

The staff is super friendly and very efficient. Being a healthcare worker myself, I definitely appreciated all the precautions they instilled to keep the place as safe as possible from the pandemic. During my visit I peaked into an adjacent room and saw a staff member meticulously cleaning the seat where a other client had been; and that made me feel at ease. I am so glad I got referred to come here, and I will keep coming for as long as I live in Sacramento

I’ve been going to East Sac Dental for many years, driving over 20 miles, because I’ve never had a bad experience. All have been good (and so are the restaurants nearby. I nearly always schedule it as dental and dine day). Both dentists are phenomenal as are the dental hygienist and assistants. Beautiful facility, nice sound system, and chill vibe all around.

This is my regular dentist but my experience today seems to indicate the operation may be going downhill. I went in to have a crown replaced. First, the woman who I learned was an assistant, not a hygienist, kept pinching my lip with the suction hose and ran water down my face twice. Next, fabrication of the new crown was supposed to take 40 minutes. After sitting alone for one hour and ten minutes, a woman who I had never seen sits down and says the crown is done and she will fit it. I had to ask who she was and all I got was her name. Finally, when I checked out to pay, the woman at the front desk said the estimate she gave me at the start and that she requested I sign didn’t included an X-ray and exam and it was now going to cost me $100 more. Is the issue a change in personnel? I don’t know.

I appreciate how East Sac Dental takes the time to listen to my dental needs regardless how big or small and the team takes immediate action to resolve the issue. I haven’t been to the dentist in YEARS as I am very very afraid of the dentist and have been for as long as I can remember. I thought I had a dental emergency and East Sac Dental was able to get me in just a few hours after I called. Dr. Saidi was so so sweet and attentive. The dental assistants and staff made me feel very comfortable and at ease. The technology has definitely improved in the past few years, making the dreaded X-rays very simple and painless. I had a dental issue on Saturday, and dr Phillips called me right back and got me in first thing Monday am! The crown was replaced in two hours and completely painless! I drive from the foothills to get all if my dental care here- they are the best!

The staff is always wonderful, the office is incredibly nice and comparable & Dr. Dunn is the best dentist around. He’s so personable, but also very thorough. I went to another dentist in Midtown due to a change in my insurance for a couple years and could not WAIT to get back to East Sac Dental. Also; they have a great process in place to ensure patient safety during the pandemic. If you’re looking for a new dentist, I couldn’t recommend Dr. Dunn and his staff enough!

I was deathly afraid of dentists all my life and attempted just over a year ago to schedule an appt here due to a friend’s recommendation. i was so afraid of dentists to the point i would cry whenever i sat in a dental chair. on the first visit the staff treated me with kid gloves and explained everything very very slowly probably because i was so emotional. i mean i can seriously be tough, most def i’m naturally a fight vs flight reactor, but when you come at me with those metal scraping things and a drill or tools that’s hella loud FORGET IT. Anyways they assessed my needs based on my fears, determined because i don’t like the sound of dentistry tools i could bring ear buds in to crank up the music. They asked if i wanted to be completely sedated for procedures, needed anesthesia or just numbed. I opted for the middle, anesthetic for the first couple visits, even just for deep cleanings. They explained every action or task they had to complete and what that might feel like before entering my mouth 😂 The deep breathing suggested helped too. It felt like they gave me more control because they reminded often i could stop any time. 😅 Since my first visit I’ve lost the ear buds and am not so jumpy. I definitely don’t become emotional anymore or cry. I also don’t need the anesthesia or numbing. As a result of not losing my GD mind every time i go in for a visit I’m able to experience the calm ambiance more and interact with amazing staff, hygienists and front desk staff, etc. Doc Dunn it pretty cool too, though i don’t see him often, he always tells interesting, funny stories. Pretty chill guy and not stuffy at all like the dentists we might have visited growing up. He was one of the ones that made me feel very comfortable from the beginning. So now whenever someone is looking for a dentist I recommend Dr. Dunn and his team. They have a pretty cool system of safety procedures they follow as a result of COVID which seems to operate smoothly and it’s not annoying at all.

Called the office number for a Dr. on call a Sunday and was given great information and an appointment Monday morning. Took great care of me with a tooth broken in half Monday morning and were very nice and professional. Great experience and I am now a regular patient.

Simply the best! Amazing facility and equipment. This is the most well run, thorough, and friendly dentist office that I’ve ever been to. They have all the high tech gadgets that help them do some next level dentistry. Their reception and hygienists are friendly and make the visit comfortable. Dr Dunn is quick and doesn’t ever make me feel like he is a salesman. He just gives me what I need, provides options, and makes it brief and mostly painless.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Dr. Philips and my dental hygienist, Kelly, both are great! I told them if I did not know them, I would not go to dentist at all! I have some trust issues with dentist because of my bad experience with my last dentist. But I trust Dr. Philips100%. He does not just mess up with your teeth to get money!! He is honest, professional, caring, friendly, and is excellent at what he does!! And he has alot of patient! I am a 40+ woman but when is time for some dental work, I turn to a toddler! : DI had sensitive teeth for my entire life. At my last dental office, every time they cleaned my teeth, my teeth sensitivity got worse and worse.. but as soon as I changed to East Sac Dental and Kelly became my Dental Hygienist my teeth sensitivity is all gone! She is very gentle when cleaning my teeth and knows how to handle sensitive teeth! She is very caring, professional, and is excellent at what she does!! She is very knowledgeable and helps me pick toothpaste, tooth brushes, floss, etc based on my teeth type.The office staff also are great!
