If you’re going to charge me $368 for two gel pedicures and two full sets you better make sure that they are damn near perfect. I couldn’t Not pay after they were done. If I had a choice I would have not paid. She did a sloppy job none of my nails match, hard to see in pics….and I had her go over some of it to correct it, I’m still not happy though. I think she was irritated because of this and took advantage, I was treating my pregnant friend and we were in deep conversation. She couldn’t even break down why it was so much. This just doesn’t make sense. Overly priced, poor quality this time. My first experience was great but that lady was off today.

I have not gotten acrylic nails done in a salon in YEARS. I am very picky when it comes to my nails I have been wearing press ons for years because every time I would go get acrylics they would be way too thick or curled and looked like witch nails. I went to 5 star nails after years of not getting acrylics professionally and wow I found my new nail tech! Tonya, I highly recommend her! The shape, length and thickness of my nail was exactly what I was looking for!! She is excellent!

This place was super busy. Waited for half an hour because it was last minute but they attended my friends and I. Theres not a lot of space to stroll through and with a lot of people packed in, I was concerned because of Covid 19. Atmosphere is noisy, strong smell, but ladies there seem very nice and the one who did my nails did a great job! Usually my fingers are sore the next day when I get full acrylics but mine are fine and my nails feel natural. Will definitely come back.

My 5 year old daughter could have painted my nails better. Very disappointed.

I requested services for a color change on arcylic nails with gel polish. Staff were un-engaging by not verbally inquiring about what I prefered after the color chosen. When staff requested that I rinse my hands after the color removal staff were extremely dismissive by pointing in a general area from across the room. Also staff watched me like I was a thief but still no aid in finding the sink area. The nails were done well so I provided a tip. Staff never acknowledged my payment or thanked me as I left. The nail service was done well, BUT due to the disrespect I will never return or recommend this business.

I went today and the lady who did my nails was really rude. I told her that I wanted short coffin nails and she asked if I even knew what I was talking about. I was looking through my phone to show her the picture of the shape I wanted and she told me to put my phone away and look at the colors on the page. She told me that she was going to do square shape when that is not what I asked her but I did not allow her to. She also told me to wash my hands and repeated herself like 4 times telling me not to put soap as if I was dumb. When I came back from washing my hands, she had someone else sitting on my seat already.She also left alot of acrylic nail residue on my fingers and got upset when I asked her to clean it. I believe her name was Betsy or something similar to that. Her station was the first one on the right side, first row when you walk in.On a positive note, Tammy was amazing as always with my lashes. 5 stars for her service.

Went in to get a gel manicure and pedicure, very upset with how unprofessional they are! If I’m paying 100$ I expect to be treated with some sort of respect not rushed out the chair because they need open chairs not even 5 mins after my pedicure the “manager” comes over to my belonging without even asking and tells me to move. First of all I would’ve had no problem moving but the fact that she grabs my stuff without even asking me is what irritated me. Then when I ask the lady who did my pedicure “lee” she said the managers not there today, asked her what’s the managers name and she said she didn’t know who it was, then I went to ask the lady who did my manicure and she tells me the manager is the one who choose to move my belonging without asking! What’s the point in completely lying to a paying customer!!!?? Side note I made an apt to come in at 12 didn’t get started on my nails until 12:55pm which I don’t mind as long as once I’m in that chair I get their quality work not be rushed to get out just so they can get the next person in! HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!! Will make sure to all friends and family to not go there again!

Living in Jackson couldn’t find a nail salon that can do my nails like NYC. I called this salon to see if I can do a walk in and the lady was very nice and told me to come and wear a mask. I forgot the guy name who did my nails he did a great job. Plus they’re reasonable and respectful and that’s what I like!

Tammy and Trish are great. Trish did my nails and Tammy did my eyelashes. Stayed over time at least 2/3 hours after closing time. Trish did my nails the way I wanted them identical to the pic i showed her it was on point!! I love the way they turned out. As for Tammy who did my eyelashes she did a great job even managed to hide the gap i currently have at the end of my natural eyelashes due to me pulling them out. Shes amazing. Both ladies were wonderful. Highly recommend.

Quality has declined over a year of coming hear. Nail techs rush job and dont listen to client input. My last 2 nail jobs, my nails broke. They also didnt honor an appt I scheduled. Ill be looking elsewhere for my nails servives.

I went in to get powder on my nails, and no one seemed to understand what I wanted. They ended up doing an overlay on my own nails which is not what I wanted. I just wanted powder because it does not harm your nails. Also, my nails are uneven. I got there before a couple people and they attended to them before me. I will not come to this salon again nor will I recommend it to my family/ friends. I usually go to KB nails but I was closer to this salon however will just stick to going to KB nails (very professional and know what they are doing)

Not a place I would recommend. Not very customer service friendly. More about get you in and get you out, and making sure whos paying and how, cash or card. Made an 11am appointment. Showed up at 10:45 and checked in with the girl at the counter. She said ok go pick color. Not a can I help you; have you been here before or even direction of where to go pick out the color. Its all a guessing game there. The man who worked there walked behind me carrying nail polish dropped it and it splattered everywhere, especially on my purse and the sleeve of my shirt. Not even a sorry, or can I help you clean you up or discount my service. Plus two of my nails didnt come out right!

I have been to 10+ shops in the Sacramento area and was disappointed at each one. Waste of money. This place though? Awesome. Great quality and great customer service.*Editing my review only for the nail quality. Pedicure was good. I had 2 acrylic nails break the same night I had them done (I was putting on sandals). They fixed them the next day but within the next 5 days I had 4 separate nails break or pop off completely. I didnt go back in for those nails bcs I dont have time to go everyday multiple days. I dont blame the tech I believe it was just old or bad acrylic powder. It didnt even hurt when the nails popped off which says a lot. Other than that the customer service is good andy toes lasted about a month before needing to be redone.

My nails came out so terrible and not at all how I wanted them. All she had to say to me was she took $5.00 off so I still had to pay for her messing up my nails.

I generally just get a gel manicure over my natural nails. Im not really picky, however this is 2 days after getting my nails done. My only issue is that on certain fingers the polish is thicker (and of course only I can notice it) and I didnt notice that my pinky nail has a small part that wasnt fully painted, I just didnt feel like going back and getting it redone.

I attempted to use their service but when I stepped in a young man at a table up front asked me what I needed and when I told him that I needed only one Nail repaired it seemed as if I was ignored from that point on. I waited about 5 minutes and still no one told me a wait time or even as much as said hello! I thought everyone there to be rude!Reviews seem tip top but my experience there was not good at all.A single nail repair should be just as important as a full set. Done.

I came to get a pedicure, I expressed to my pedicurist my water is cold. Still not interested in warming it up. I expressed a second time my water is cold still cold, still never warmed. No heat and cold water, I asked for different color on my toes. She cuts me off and starts speaking in a different language and has someone else tell me there is additional cost for having multiple colors. Just plain rude and over priced for mediocre service. Save your dime and go to a place that appreciates the hardworking American.

Ask for Mike. He’s been the best so far. He’s very precise on the shape and color you want. Wished he could have cleaned the inside but that’s minor, something I can ask at another appointment. This place isn’t usually as busy and they’ve had good customer service and listen to what you want.

I wanted to treat my mom to a pedi and getting her nails done and I went here because I had a great past experience with them. This experience wasn’t so great though, the pedi was great but my acrylics felt super rushed and I asked for one thing and got another. The shape and polish application just isn’t the best and I got cut by the drill and didn’t get at least a sorry. My mom also wanted dipping powder with the extensions and they gave her acrylics, which was just probably a miscommunication but her nails were a little chunky. I mean I didn’t say anything because it’s whatever but I definitely won’t be back, it’s just sad that we rarely treat ourselves and the one time we do...we get bad nails for the high prices they charge. Don’t go when they are busy I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

The worker rushed through my nail dipping and didn’t file my nails evenly. The dipping was bumpy on my nails which made it seem like my nails had the mouth of a duck. The clear paint was peeling and the edges around my nails are rough and keep getting caught on my clothes and snagging them. This was not the same experience I had the first time around so it is extremely disappointing. The workers should NOT RUSH no matter how busy the salon is because the quality is terrible.

I have been coming to nail shop for a few years now. Today I experienced the worst customer service and nail service from a male nail tech. Im disappointed!! My nails a ruff sharp half nails my nails are not even painted all the way my fingers hurt from him burning my skin . Looks like I need a fill again. Im so frustrated and on top they told me they give me $5 off WOW!! Will not be returning!

Service was attend definitely they went over and Beyond and stayed late just to finish me up even though I was a walking kudos for that. However they are a bit pricey but I must say quality is good as well I went to Tony thats a guy hes really good

Im so lucky to find Tammy in this shop. She took her time doing my lashes. They look so0oOo good. Its so hard to find someone to do lashes just the way I want them. Tammy nail it!!! Speaking about nails, I came back to get my nails and toes done with her. Im in love with the results. My coffin shape is prefect. My shellac pedicure stayed on for weeks!!! I recommend Tammy to everyone.

Took my Mom here for the first time and.... she loved it! I meant we LOVED it, we love the atmosphere and we love the service. Everyone super friendly.Its not your typical pedicure spot, its more like a spa experience. My Mom and I usually talk each other but we didnt even want to talk to each other because it was so relaxing.It was a bit pricy but totally worth it. Theres a few options but we both get the top one called Ultimate Pedicure which is $50 because we wanted a full experience. Hot stone massage was relaxing and the cucumber foot mask was so refreshing.Def we will be back for this unique spa experience.

Asked for a simple gel manicure, the gentleman started to chop all of my natural nail length and proceeded to lay on acrylic before I got the chance to say anything. I paid $50 for the nails to be uneven, to have little pieces of dirt between the color and clear, and for the clear coat to be bubbly and uneven. No professional nail salon should be using mma and ripping your previous nails off!!

I got my nails done three weeks ago and they turned out great! But after the three weeks passed they started popping off like crazy. Ive been told that they arent supposed to just do that so soon. They were either very rushed or they used cheap products. Never coming back again.

They were friendly. I paid for Zen treatments, but they tried to rush me. I had to have them go over my feet to get dead skin off. They TOTALLY rushed my hands.

I asked a question through Yelp and the owner responded quickly, and also when I requested an appointment through Yelp. Lini did my nails and I absolutely love them! I showed her what I wanted and I got exactly that, but better! She asked me if my nails look good every step of the way and didnt make me feel like a bother when I wanted something fixed. She made great suggestions about what would look good and took her time with my nails. Im only giving them 4 stars because the pedicure was underwhelming. It was another lady (cant remember her name) who did my pedicure and while my polish looks good and the massage felt good, my heels dont feel any different and could have used more attention. Overall, would definitely come back again for Lini!

This place is busy! That being said there were 15-20 people working. The environment was still relaxing, despite all the muted conversations. The bathroom smelled really good and was very clean. Everyone was incredibly friendly from the moment you come in. My tech seemed a bit rushed, but the lady working beside her was the opposite so there seems to be a mix. My nails were actually nicer than any of the salons I have been to in Sacramento thus far.

The nail tech did a good job on building a nail, but There was some miscommunication on my nail design I asked for something very specific to which he told me I will look at the photo later and later showed me photos of a nail designs I did not like. The rhinestone options here are very slim and if you like very unique designs I would try somewhere else. Also as a nail technician I would go on Amazon and find some unique things that I could use in my nail design which is very simple and extremely cheap so it’s very perplexing to me that somebody who could build such a nice nail would not further their craft. UPDATE: one of the nails popped off that night!!!!! Also one of the very few gems he put on fell off.

Perfection this design is out of this world I totally suggest coming over here yes its a little pricey but its totally worth it this will totally not be the last time of me coming here.

Five star nails & Spa is just there name . They dont hold that name to there Standards of quality ! Am giving them one star so I can share my experience. My nails started to chip and lift 12hrs later . And no if didnt wash my hands with soap as they ask you not too . And no my finger arent like that ! My nail stylist was joann .

In my time that I was there the experience was good. I loved how my nails came out. They are very good on time my appointment was for 11 I got there around 11:15 and they started a little after 11:30 and we ended around 1 ish. Overall it was a really great experience

Bad costume service...

I went for a little while. However, stopped going because my time would always be extended because the person doing my nails was always answering phones and tending to customers as they walked in. Running water for pedicure chairs and taking payments. Was only getting gel manicures and would end up there for 2 hours.

I appreciate that they are working through the pandemic to keep us all looking & feeling good. The lady I believe is the owner is quite rude. Upon checking us in she said FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS & pointed to a sign to download a paper to fill out & walked away. We had an appointment for 1030am & wasnt seated until 1115am. When we called to schedule the appointment a guy told us we couldnt do a regular mani/pedi only Gel. It was 4 of us & my lady asked me what I wanted & I told her a regular mani/pedi $52 & she did exactly what I wanted & was extremely nice. The other ladies werent asked & paid $82 for gel nails & toes. That is price gouging at its finest! We WONT be back!

I went here and they charge me $47 for a gel pedicure like what? Just for frying my nails with the led lamp and they keep saying because they need to work more because they’re outside like they working because people it’s asking for. Worse nail salon in Sacramento.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I had such a good experience that I’d like to share ! I’ve been here several times but since the pandemic id stopped getting manis or pedis. I heard they’d set up an outdoor display so I thought I’d try it out even though I was still uneasy about it. Upon entrance they enforce face coverings so masks are required. Once I got in they had me scan a barcode on my phone to complete a symptom questionnaire and checked my temperature directly after that. Before I sat down I noticed plexiglass between customers, even though the chairs aren’t necessarily 6 ft apart there’s a decent space between you and the other clients. In my short time there I also witnessed them disinfecting and using Lysol on the furniture after every customer. My nail tech also was great about making sure my water was the right temperature, asking if I liked the color before continuing, making sure the hot towel wasn’t TOO hot. Overall I’m really glad I went and feel super safe! Happy I don’t have to compromise my health to look cute 😉The only reason I didn’t leave 5 stars is because my mom wasn’t as thrilled about her experience with her nail tech

I have come here roughly for four months now and have gotten my nails done by different technicians. Each time is a different experience but overall I really like the place. They are very accommodating, their hours work well with mine and the inside is nice. So far I really like Josie, Lini and Holly. They do great work!

Awesome place. I got a full acrylic set done here. I showed them a picture off of Pinterest and they matched it perfectly. They are fast but still maintain quality. I highly recommend them.

First time here and was very impressed. The salon look gorgeous and like its well taken care of. I got a pedicure (I suggest the Zen with cucumbers) the lady took her time with the scrubbing and massage. Always asked me hows everything. Everyone there was pleasant and conversational too. Five stars for Five Star! Haha. I contacted them on Yelp to make an appointment and they responded within 5 minutes. They set up an appointment for me for an hour later. Great! I got a pedicure with fresh cucumber slices, hot stone massage and a gel polish. The whole service was fantastic start to finish.

I recently moved to Sac and have been struggling to find a nail salon that I like. I search google and this place came up with mostly great reviews so I thought I’d try it out. First impression when I came in, not too busy, and they acknowledged me right away. Had me sign in with my services of request. The woman directed me to the color selection for the service I wanted. I waited about 15-20min before being sat, which was fairly quickly for a walk-in. I sat down for my pedicure and the water was pretty hot, but they adjusted it. The massage chair was GREAT! And the Zen pedicure was good as well! The sugar scrub is a little too rough for me personally, but the scent was so yummy and refreshing. The tech, Rosie, was very gentle and kind, but honestly the paint job wasn’t that good for a $55 pedicure. She kept telling me how her fingers were sore from working and her nails and finger tips were brittle and peeling 😩 after the pedicure, I moved to a table for a dip manicure..again the woman was very gentle and friendly, we had a good conversation about life and where we come from. I recently chopped my nails off so I didn’t have much to work with, but she still made me feel fresh and relaxed. I’ve had better Dip mani’s elsewhere, but I still tipped her for both services because even tho the paint job wasn’t that good. The experience I had there was very relaxing. The techs were all very clean and wearing gloves, their English is very good (not to be racial) but it sucks when your nails turn out not how you want simply cus of language barrier! The man at the front desk gave me $4 off my total, I think because I was a new customer. I’m not sure if I’ll be back.. they are a little pricey in my opinion. Maybe I’ll try a different technician next time and get a better result...

Not only did she talk to me about random life things but she explained what and why she was doing with my nails. Shes just an overall nice person. Thanks Rosie your the best!!!

Best pedicure Ive ever had.

Jay did my nails today, and Tami did my pedicure. I have to say, I love both. COVID-19 definitely interrupted self care, but Im glad Im starting to take care of myself again. Thank you to Jay and Tami for making me feel special. If you need extra services, Tami does waxing. Just an FYI..

My first visit was good and the staff was very friendly. On my second visit I scheduled an appointment for 10 with a particular staff only to be told that I should come back at 5. However I told them that I was already there and I’m not leaving and someone did my nails, but his attitude was very bad. After finishing my finger nails I was told that I had to wait an additional 30 minutes to polish my toes because there was no information in regards to what I scheduled my appointment for. I would never come back here and to be honest I would recommend that people spend their money elsewhere. Too much unprofessionalism and rudeness. Very poor customer service

The ladies who does my pedicure does a good job . This was my first time getting a fill at this salon and ( Holly ) did . ( The pedicure lady referred me to her ) She did a very good job on my nails and designs despite her rushing through and cutting me multiple times . I didn’t like the fact that when I was done they tried to over price me for the services . I had to speak up and say something or they were gonna try to charge me a extra $20. On top of that I have 8 shorts nails and 2 long & they charged me extra for my 2 nails . I ended up paying $78 for a basic pedicure and manicure . I feel cheated out my money . I’ll only come back for pedicures .
