They performed solid work however they dont honor appointments. Many nail salons are guilty of this. My service didnt start until 40mins later scheduled appointment. Price was fair. May return due to convenient location but wont bother making an appointment

They either dont like male customers, or their attitude problem is consistent. Sadly this girl didnt know that I understood nearly every word they said to each other in Vietnamese. Bad move. Then she proceeds with a terrible manicure to pacify me and I presume she thought because Im a guy a I wouldnt know the difference. Worst mani ever. She also swindled $20 out of me by letting my partner pay for both of us and then accepting money and a tip again. When we realized it, I marched in there and got my cash back. Dont come here. And if you do, pay cash. Anything else and they have attitude and give you terrible quality service. Plenty of salons nearby. Go elsewhere.

We went today first time in this salon everything is nice, clean, the ladies are so nice and friendly. I really liked my manicure and pedicure. Thanks so much Helen 👍🏻🙏🏻 they have a lot of new colors for this summer

They need to be more effective with their communication! Why have the door say walk ins accepted then not accept walk ins? I understand we are during a pandemic but it’s such a waste of time especially since there’s no guests/customers inside.

When I first contacted this place and explained that all my friend needed was her toenails trimmed and filed, and that I only had $20 to spend, I was under the impression that it was going to be able to be done for that price. I made it very clear to them that we were traveling a long way yet after we got there and they looked at her nails they had the nerve to tell me that they would only do it for $30, and only after making us both cry did they finally agree to do it for $20 yet even though it would have only taken a few more minutes to soak her feet just long enough to make the nails soft enough to be able to keep from hurting her, they just rushed through it and cut at least 3 of her nails past the quick. Now her feet are sore and Im out the $20 that I paid them to do a job that I couldve done better myself

Kim does great nails! Ive been to her a few times now and have been impressed every visit. Most recently I had waited over 30 days between fills and I had NO lifting! She asks a lot of questions and makes sure you get the shape and length you want. I have gotten one pedicure here as well and was pleased. Ive tried quite a few nail salons in Sacramento and will continue to go see Kim at Charming Nails.

I went in for nail trim and removal of gel. I regret having to report that it was the worse nail service I have ever had. I have spoken with manager and detailed my concerns I hope they will take steps to address the problems.

Took a friend for his first pedicure. We came maybe about 30-45 mins before close. We continually asked if they had time to do our pedicures, however the entire process felt rushed to the point where he even noticed it. I promised him a better second pedicure elsewhere. Disappointing nonetheless.

I am a very picky person, especially about doing things like manicure and pedicure for myself and my husband (whose feet are needed special and patient care). Because we tried a lot of places and we havent ever had any services which were not even reach to the good or average stands.2. I always tried my best to arrange my busy schedule to give my husband a pedicure once every 2 weeks or at least once a month. Because I didn’t trust anyone out there could be careful and patient to take care of his toes and feet.However, I am a mom of 4 year old boy and also a full time college student, it was hard for me to do everything that I wanted.3. Then, my husband convinced me to try some new spas for pedicure and manicure. He convinced me more than 10 times and finally I agreed and he picked this place.I was still picky and tried to read more reviews of this place.The next day, we decided to go here. I originally just went there because of my husbands wish. But when I saw how Mrs. Thu worked on his feet, I was so relieved. I FOUND A GOOD PLACE for our feet and hands now!4. Iused to try so many different places and was disappointed because I couldnt find anyone could be able to give me a gel nail set which could last more than 5 days.I thought the gel wasnt last long because of my natural nails.Thats why I gave up to get manicure and pedicure for years.HELEN gave me a set which still lasts until now, 3 weeks (I post pics of my new set and its picture after 3 weeks.)5. Their prices are the best in town.We tipped $20 for each person, Helen and Mrs. Thu, but we really wanted to be able to give them more than that because of how patient and careful they worked on us.We definitely come back and strongly recommend HELEN and Mrs. THU.

Second worst mani/pedi in my entire life! 😭 They had me soak my feet/hands in cold water, nipped me several times with the cuticle clipper, blobbed on the gel polish and then, wham, $70. I feel so had!

Very Charming! The gal was very good about my allergy and didnt use the products that contained the ingredient. I requested a gel pedicure, a #3 Deluxe. They did a very good job.

Cheep nail polish as it started chipping off after a day or two.

Helen did a great job of making a new full acrylic set look natural. She helped me pick out a fun summer color and even too the time to do a third coat to make sure they looked perfect!I’m go glad they’re back open and have excellent COVID precautions.

Went here for a manicure. They did not clean under the nail, and they did not use lotion. It was by far the quickest and least thorough manicure Ive ever received. They put the used tools in a container marked clean. I will not be going back. The polish did look good.

Great place to pop in and get a quick mani. Went around 4pm and it was dead. The woman who helped me was great and friendly. 4 stars because some of the equipment is outdated.

Horrible pedicure and manicure. They only put one coat on my toes and it started coming off before I left the salon. I asked for a full set and they told me that they don’t do full sets, right before another customer came inFOR A FILL, which they did for her. No apology, very rude, and my nails looks TERRIBLE. I had to get them redone at another salon. Bad experience all around.... never again

I only go here on occasion for a pedicure and its a good price - if you want mani & pedi its $30. Service is good but depends on which person you get...i have had to instruct how to apply polish.

Made an appointment. Got there 5 minutes early and they gave my appointment to someone else. Asked me to wait a few, I did, then after 10 minutes said they couldnt fit me in. Why make an appointment?

This is my go to spot for Mani & Pedis... in this area!its not cheap, but def well worth the cost... regardless, what in Brickell is cheap? Lol.You get what you pay for... remember that! It is always clean, & staff is friendly!

Service is fine, the ladies are nice and will try to fix errors but their nail polish are old/cheap and they can only do so much. I had a french gel and regular pedi a day before I went out of town for the holidays. The nail polish on my toes chipped a week in (the polish on toes usually last forever!) and the french gel had fuzzies and bubbles when Jessica finished that same night. As they were closing down and I was flying out the next day I agreed to come back when I flew back into town. But the clear coat she put started chipping the NEXT day! I went back almost two weeks later, Jessica redid them. She claimed she got new powder, but the bubbles reappeared after she put the clear coat on and now day two, the clear coat had chipped on one. I wont go back until they get new products. I have given them too many chances.

$20 for a pedicure and massage chair ? ! ? ? This place is AMAZING . Service is kind, fast, friendly, clean and affordable ! ! No frills but excellent & efficient . Not to mention it s on J street in the middle of midtown I will 100 % be back ! ! Thank you !

Had my nails done for the first time at this place. Vicky did a great job, and my gel polish has lasted almost a whole month without a chip. Going back for sure!

I went in on a slow day. I was greeted with friendly, welcoming attitude. Positive vibe. Got myself a Mani and a Pedi. Both were greatly done. I would recomment this to others.

Lack for sanitation and safety was an issue for me. I was there for two hours for mani pedi. While waiting to be called up, watched a girl drop a glass dish that broke on the floor. Rather than sweeping it up, she used her foot to brush it aside and go about her business. She was not busy the whole time, had time to sit back and chit chat with coworkers between clients, and continued to step over the broken glass. Others did the same, and didnt seem bothered by it one bit.

Too expensive...everything was Ann add on for additional $$$. My manicure is great. My pedicure didnt make it past the wedding this weekend and my toes have sores where they were clipped way to much. Not my favorite place.

I did not want to give them even one star !! I have given them many, many chances to make things right but today was it . I made an appt for 3. When I arrived all the girls were busy. When I told them I was their 3, they didnt ask. I* could clearly see that I would be waiting close to an hour. Two ladies walk in .They took them before me !! I have been very generous at Charming .Let me tell you it doesnt matter Lets talk about sanitation. I have watched as a lady dropped a file to the floor, stepped on it, then picked it up and returned it to her CLEAN tool kit. I have toe fungus from them that I wanted to rid myself before I started a new shop . Bottom line :They could care less about how much you spend or how frequently you visit .The sanitation is absolutely horrible. State Board is getting a call in the morning .

Wonderful staff and great work. I’m from dc and came for a wedding needed my nails done so I goggled nails salons and charming nails was one of the first ones to come up. Heidi did a fantastic job with my pedicure and unfortunately I can’t remember the other lady’s name that did my acrylics but I love them. They definitely surprised me! I had a pedi/mani that looked great & lasted. But the real treat, was my EYEBROWS!!! No one has ever been able to wax my eyebrows evenly, as I have a scar from childhood under one. But the woman here, I think she was the manager, MADE THEM LOOK AMAZING! And for only $10, I was seriously walking on clouds when I left!

Dont bother making an appointment, its a waste of your time and so is coming here. 45 minute wait after my appointment time and I ended up walking out.

I payed $50 for my plain blue and gold acrylic with gel full set and the lady kept telling me they were to long and it wasnt cute so when I argued with her she started to do my nails real fonky digging in the sides of my fingers with the nail file as I talked with my friend. I interrupted our conversation about 3 times to say oue. She cut my cuticles so deep my fingers were burning and one started to bleed. My experience here was terrible! I will never go there again. I am writing this review 4 days later and i am already missing 5 nails!

I drive 10 miles from Carmichael every two weeks to get a fill & my brows waxed. Its totally worth it, this place is awesome.

I had 3 different people work on my nails and they were ALL very distracted and rushed. 3 of my fingers bleed because they were so rough. I did not receive any kind of oil or lotion for my hands even though my friend got a nice hand rub with oil at the end (we both got the gel manicures).I would never go back.

New to the area and came in for a mani pedi. While the pedicure was great the women who did my mani butchered my nails. She cut my cuticles way to close and 6/10 were bleeding and a week later they are all scabbed up. I will not be going back.
