I loved it all. I went too hard on my first try and being it 10 years since I worked out so Ill need to watch my pace if I do go 3-4 times a week. The community was great. Someone else working out was super supportive and it didnt have a typical ick vibe at all. I felt encouraged and the music was awesome.
I was hesitant about doing a class workout, but when I got there it all went away. The staff are professional and nice. The atmosphere and coaches are amazing and so are steps they take to assure everyone stays healthy and the equipment stays clean.
I didnt realize how long its been since Ive last exercised. I drove by Orange Theory and never knew what it was about, but now I do. And I love it. Knowing where my heart rate is while I workout really keeps me engaged and inspired to push harder. The Staff has been very polite and friendly and the trainers understand I may have to modify and make sure that I do when needed. Ive been there just over a week and lost 3.5 lbs. I joined this gym a month ago, and I love it. The workouts are hard, but its more than I would push myself exercising on my own. All the trainers and staff are super nice, and I like that they all get to know you by name. Each class is about an hour, with half the time doing intervals on the treadmill, and the other half doing weights, rowing, or TRX. Its a good all-over cardio and strength training class.
I was struggling so hard to find a workout that motivated and encouraged me. I was very out of shape when I started, so I was terrified of that gym mentality that everyone talks about. Well, you wont find that here! The coaches are amazing and will work with you to build up your fitness. Cant run on a treadmill? No problem, you can walk at incline instead. Cant do push ups? No problem, you can do modified versions. Since everyone is competing against their own heart rate rather than each other, theres a wonderful comraderie that develops, no matter whether youre a marathon runner or just getting started on your fitness journey. I cant recommend this place enough. Its made me feel stronger and more confident, and its been a lot of fun the whole way. Give it a try, you wont regret it!
The workouts are rigorous, yet fun. They are also changed up every day to keep from being boring. Most important are the trainers who provide extreme enthusiasm with just the right amount of motivation.
I workout already five days a week but wanted to change things up. As a guy who’s in generally good shape I can say this is definitely a good workout. The coaches are great and the circuits keep things interesting. I had never attended a group fitness class, I had always just lifted weights, but I can say the competitive nature of being there really motivates you. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s considering it.
This was on of the most enjoyable yet challenging workouts Ive ever done. I burned over 500 calories in one class and It felt like the time flew by! With amazing coach, a great mix up on the workout routine, great music, positive energy, definitely a challenge but achievable, and a great group of people! Just when your ready to give up the rountine changes! Couldnt help but sign up after the first free try! Cant wait for the next class!
This is by far one of the most effective workouts Ive done in a long time. Everyday I come I get and feel better. The staff and coaches are great and really want you to challenge yourself daily. I see myself doing this for a long time.
After a 7 month hiatus from working out I needed to get back in the gym. I dont do well working out on my own so I knew I needed a group fitness gym. I did the free trial at Orangetheory Fitness and right after signed up for the 8 sessions per month. After my 3rd workout I upped it to the Unlimited classes per month. I love the different workouts every day, and state of the art equipment. The treadmills have a little bounce to them so my knees havent felt any pain at all which has been a huge shocker to me. The water rowers have helped big time with my upper back pain and posture. Besides the soreness from working muscles I havent worked in a while, I feel great mentally and physically and look forward to the next session. The fact that the staff and coaches are great makes it that much better.Shout out to Coaches Avery and Austin for being awesome!!

Coaches are amazing (specifically Natomas). Not only do they know what they are doing, but they can train effectively. They push you and encourage you. They keep pace. Their passion is very obvious. I love that I can see when I need to work harder and when I need to slow down from my heart rate monitor. The work outs challenge me a lot more than what I can come up with on my own. And I have the added plus of having someone help me if I am not doing the exercise correctly. I do recommend gloves for the rower - still need to get some. Also, no repeat work outs, aka I dont get bored.
Orangetheory is the most amazing workout ever, if I was to describe this gym I would say it is an overall motivating gym. From signing up for your classes to the heart beat monitor and to the amazing coaches that constantly push you to the very end, even when you don’t think you can do it yourself the coach is right there pushing you already along. I have been going for a little less then a year now and every class is a definite sweat out workout!!! There is no slacking at this gym.
Seems to simple to get results. Well I’ve lost 50 lbs and changed my eating Habits and I’m a believer. Avery pushes you to be the best version of yourself. 🤙🏾 I’m hooked why else would I be in a 5 am classes going this hard .
Our trainers are amazing! I’ve really enjoyed getting to be part of such a fun community. I get pushed daily to be a better me! So far in my short 6 months time I’ve lost 30 pounds!
Orangetheory is a great workout. I am really seeing results and the atmosphere is very positive and encouraging. Great coaches helping me achieve my goals and push farther than I ever thought possible. Love it!
This has been the best workout program Ive ever tried. I love the variety, motivation, dont have to think about it, great workout and calorie burn.The staff is really supportive and sensitive to whatever injury or limitation you might have.
I love the style of workouts here! Being a former athlete, Id been searching for a good place and this is it! You get out what you put in to each workout. I love the heart rate monitors and being able to have a breakdown of my workout stats after. I have some pre existing injuries from a car accident as well, and the coaches are great with giving me alternate exercises to do so I can still get the most out of each workout.
Great location! Love that they have a late 8PM class. Teacher Francis was very attentive and very encouraging. Would highly recommend this gym. The studio was very clean and all the equipment was very functional.
Excellent classes, the coaches are outstanding! Whats not to like about a class that challenges, show results in strength building, energizing, and weight loss...!!! The results may differ, but it all depends on your capacity!! I will recommend this class to all my friend who are asking me what I am doing to be so energized.
The team in Natomas is so supportive and energetic. I love coming and working out there. The people in class are fun and we support each other while we workout. My body has changed so much in 6 months and I couldn’t do it without the trainers support and push they give you. Working out here is like nothing I’ve done before.
Great workout and even better staff! Avery and Austin are amazing coaches; always positive and encouraging. The girls at the desk are also super sweet and welcoming. I was worried I wouldn’t be a good fit for OrangeTheory due to my need for low impact, but so far it hasn’t been an issue. Rather than running on the treadmill, there’s an option to ride the bike or elliptical. If needed, the coaches can also provide any modifications to the exercises. Do yourself a favor and try it out. You’ll love it! 🧡
I’ve only gone to three classes and they all have been AMAZING. Francis is definitely my favorite coach but all the coaches are great. I joined OT so I can jump start a healthy lifestyle that I’ve been lacking. Signing up and going to class and not having to think about the workouts I have to do is AMAZING. Thank you OT.
I love this place. I like the coaches, the layout of the facility is great too. The analytics I think separates it from other workouts, along with signature workouts and events.
I’m 4 months postpartum today and I just had my first OTF class today. I loved everything about it! The instructor Avery was very helpful and the receptionist Jaime was really sweet! I’m excited to start my new journey and get this baby weight off.
This review is for Natomas.Low intensity and low energy.This location has got to have the most irrational fear of Covid. The owners convinced themselves that need to have every other class be reduced occupancy. This results in every class having a large wait-list. They could easily open up more spots if they had normal class sizes for all time slots.The inability to schedule here definitely tempers any willingness to upgrade in both membership and equipment.Whats lunacy is that the owner believes they know something that the CDC and California and local public health authorities dont.Prior to Covid this club performed great. But its clear that the owner is overly concerned with tort liability rather than providing customer satisfaction. Since Ms. Bessels approach to business has veered off course, its time for her to sell; preferably to Mr. LeClair (Midtowns owner)._-------------This review is for OT on a general scale and not this particular club.It can be difficult to reserve a space. Natomas, Midtown, Elk Grove, etc.. were all full. These full classes are occurring more frequently.Forced to reserve a spot in Rocklin but the drive from Sacramento was impeded with heavy traffic.OT should not allow members to schedule a class more than 2 weeks in advance or should offer more classes on weekends.OT is more and more becoming like 24 Fitness.I was always looking for an alternative to 24 Hour which was satisfied with OT. Now Im thinking about finding an alternative to OT.
Following-up my initial review, my fiancé and I have been attending Orange Theory for about 2 months now. We started with the 4 pack, switched before the month was over to the 8 pack, and then switched to unlimited shortly after. We are definitely in love with orange theory, the instructors, and whole concept itself. The instructors definitely hold you accountable and it is impossible to not get a workout. We are doing 5-6 classes a week and are loving every minute of it.
That they are guided group classes with commonly used equipment. It was a very energetic class. The heart rate monitor keeping track of how hard your body is working is a great idea.
I’ve signed up in January and not only do I enjoy the various workouts but it’s been a blessing to part of a positive community. The coaches and staff has created an environment of inspiration to push physically and mentally with fun! Thank you.
Natomas has a great staff there! The people who work the front desk are really friendly and helpful, and the trainers challenge you and push you to work your hardest! My schedule usually allows me to go to Avery’s Class and he always pushes me to work harder then I thought I could.
Orangetheory is a life changer. I’ve been going consistently for a little over a year now and it truly makes my day! I have become so much stronger not only physically but mentally! Orangetheory is my community.
Great workouts! Coaches are very helpful and attentive, especially with those of us with injury issues. They provide options to assure injuries dont get worse. The workouts are intense at times, but always fun. Thebig reward is feeling good after the one-hour ordeal.
Orange is a but kicker and its gets you going. I love the workouts its great. I recommend to anyone. I look forward to every class because its something new and it works your wbole bed. Full complete work. A++++++
I love that every training session is different so its never boring. Its great to be pushed by the trainers and encouraged by fellow members. I was a couch potato 5 months ago, but thanks to my training at Orangetheory Fitness I was able to climb up all the steps of the Eiffel Tower last week during my vacation in Paris! I never would have been able to do this before. A dream come true! Im so excited to continue getting stronger and feeling fit with Orangetheory Fitness.
Hands-down the best group fitness workout program Ive experienced. Not only are the coaches professional and knowledgable, theyre motivating and fun. Workouts are NEVER the same, but the quality and results are always consistent.
If you are an athlete, a workout novice, or anything in between, OTF will whip you into shape. The coaches understand that everyone is on a different level and they’re so good at pushing people who need to be pushed and making variations for others. There is no plateauing here. The workouts never get easy and that’s how it’s supposed to be. I started on the 8 classes per month plan, which was great when I had other commitments on some weeknights. But when I kicked the membership up to unlimited (I go 3-4 times a week), I saw fast physical results and strength/speed gains in class. It’s an investment but really worth it.
This place again is the best in town. I have been training here for the last almost 3 yrs now. Body completely changed but also I am more mentally prepared to handle life situations. It’s been a once in a lifetime experience. The coaches and the staff are like part of your family and also there to listen to you. Not to just physically prepare but also to mentally preapare you. I am here and I will be part of this Awsome team forever. I have to give to Coach Avery, Coach Austin the best trainers. You guys have the Best team!! Thank you for everything :)
Some days are harder than others but makes you challenge yourself each time...I’ve never been this dedicated to any workout place before. I can really see the improvements I’ve made... love it and the coaches are awesome!!!

Orangetheory gives a full body workout I have never experienced at any other workout facility. I hurt in place I never expected but it’s a good hurt for sure. I am about to double up on my works. Fun times

They say OTF is for everyone and I really believe that. Not just based off of my workouts but seeing other people of all shapes and sizes coming in and pushing themselves. It provides great balance for improving your overall body and not just zoning in on one aspect of fitness. OTF is the best way to start or enhance a fitness journey.

I have been to most gyms in the Sacramento area, and this gym is by far the best experience I have ever had. Everyone from the front desk staff to the coaches is happy to be there and to help in any way they can. I am very out of shape, and all I feel is positive support and encouragement from the coaches and people attending the classes with me. When I first signed up my app was not working, and Bri sat on hold with tech support for me so that I didnt have to. Other gyms with similar formats try to motivate you by yelling or just telling to you work harder, at Orange Theory the coaches are sincere in their care for you, and that is so motivational. Never have I had anyone make me feel weak or bad about myself if I need more instructions on a move or a modification. The cost is a little pricey, but both the mental, physical, and self-esteem results are amazing!
Francis was an excellent coach. Pushed the group, explained each exercise and next step thoroughly and was very encouraging. Cant wait to go back!

Best workout experience I’ve ever had. I used to hardly ever workout and after a few months with OTF I can’t travel anywhere without knowing if there’s one near my travel destination. :) it’s honestly changed my life!
Coaches are the best!!! They get to know you personally and will encourage you to get out of your comfort zone to become a better, stronger athlete for all levels because not everyone is the same.

Love orangetheory! Great way to start my mornings. Workouts are always different which adds a nice change instead of doing the same thing day in and day out.
The common denominator to any successful workout is motivation. And let’s be real- I just don’t have that motivation all the time. What I love about OTF is that all the coaches in every class bring out that motivation- making you push past your limits and get the best out of every workout. There are even days where I feel like all I want to do is sleep, then I go to one of my classes and BAM- I’m awake. It’s a great ‘pick-me-up’ before work and an even better de-stress for after.
Great workout! I’ve hired personal trainer & enjoyed the intense workout but was too expensive for me to keep it up. I have gym equipment at home but can get alit boring working out by myself & cold during the winter. I’ve only had 3 classes so far & plan to continue!
It’s the best 60 minute workout I’ve ever had. The instructors are very motivational. The music is always good. The heart rate monitor helps me pace myself. And the structure of the workout is always challenging but rewarding. I absolutely love OTF Natomas!

At the time I didn’t think I had the time or motivation to attend. But I signed up with her for the free 10 classes promotion. After workout 2 I was hooked! Yes I felt like I was going to die and couldn’t make it though the workout but the trainers (Avery and Austin) who I did those workouts with made sure I was motivated and pushed through! I felt success within and I knew Orange Theory was for me. It’s been four months now and I’m stronger, faster, still motivated to continue to my goals and the better me physically I know I can be. As a wife and mother of two growing boys I feel like there just never enough time for me...but with Orange Theory I’ve found that all I need is 60 minutes and I can get the self care I need so I can continue to be the best for my husband and two boys. All I can say is, I’m hooked on the Orange juice!!! 😜🧡🍊💪🏾

Over 3.5 years ago I took my first class and immediately fell in love with all things OTF. Prior to joining OTF I did Crossfit for a few years but found myself getting injured repeatedly and wishing I had a better cardio and full body workout regimen. I have very limited time and the OTF 60 min w/o is exactly what I needed. That being said, the workout is only half the equation. What truly makes the difference for me is staff. From the Sales Assistants to the coaches, everyone is all in to help you succeed in your fitness goals. Ive been to OTF studios all over the country and they are all great, but the Natomas OTF staff have always had a slightly higher bar. Im constantly blown away by all our Natomas coaches genuine concern for their members and their tailored approach to each member (even though I sometimes want hurt them for making me exceed my own goals). I can honestly say that our OTF Natomas coaches feel like family and I can never thank them enough for all they do for us. THANK YOU!

Just signed up a week ago for the 8 class package... and already used half of my classes in a week! I’m obsessed! I’m still new so getting used to the trainers & regimen but I would definitely recommend at least a first time trial for everyone!

All of the coaches make it a point to make suggestions on how to improve your form, and they push you to put every last drop of effort you have into getting a great workout.They will keep you motivated, and hold you accountable, and challenge you-- and that is exactly what had been missing in my previous workouts.
