Great place, clean, friendly staff and prompt responses to questions. Environment is welcoming and open to anyone at any training level. Layout of the gym is open and not over crowded like most allowing you to focus on yourself. Even the logo is welcoming!

This is the nicest looking and CLEANEST gym I’ve ever been to. There is so much natural light and huge roll up doors throughout the facility so it always feels airy and open. The equipment is brand new and top quality. Great for all levels of training experience. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. 24/7 access available, too. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Its an outstanding gym that is well equipped to house all powerlifters, Olympic weightlifters, and bodybuilders alike. Theyve got 6 adjustable hook and spotter arm squat racks, 2 competition combo racks, 4 competition benches and many platforms that are big enough for the Olympic lifts and normal deadlifts.

This is the gym I wish existed when I was still studying in Sacramento. All the best equipment to get some serious training in all while having a very friendly environment. Still my go to whenever I’m in town!

New gym in downtown Sacramento with great vibes. Having only gone to commercial gyms, this was a huge change up. Everyone here is very friendly, the owners are always around to chat, and the equipment is very nice. Whether you’re barely starting off lifting or you’ve been lifting for a while, this gym is a fantastic place to be.

2020 is looking up with the opening of 3rd Street Barbell. The owners used some elbow grease to make this the most aesthetic looking gym and they also have top quality equipment. The space is clean, they offer masks and there is hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes located throughout the facility. They have worked hard to create something special and it shows. Good company is the mantra and you will definitely get that here!!

This gym just opened up. It is in a great location in midtown. The owner and employees are extremely professional and knowledgeable about fitness. Also, their playlist is dope. It’s just the beginning but I’m certain they have awesome things prepared for the future.

Great environment, people, and vibe. The layout is amazing!! Unique combo of sleek and modern w/ antique(can’t think of better word to describe haha). Not to mention the BATHROOMS. I don’t think I have ever seen a powerlifting gym w/ a bathroom that looks like you have stepped into a luxury hotel. Highly recommend.

You want to talk about phenomenal experience and vibes all around, this gym has it. this is the greek temple of powerlifting gyms. my first time here, i spent like 3 hours there because i wanted to appreciate every second and every equipment i could. what silent mike & everyone has built at 3rd street barbell is beyond incredible! although i don’t live in sacramento, im definitely going back as it is worth the commute!

A brand new gym with the kind of atmosphere you want for a local gym. Everyone is very welcoming and supportive, and the owners are always around to chat with, no smoke and mirrors! Highly reccomend checking out as the first day ia free as well. Support your local establishments!

This gym is an awesome place to train at if youre in the Sacramento area. Plenty of squat racks, deadlift platforms, and bench presses for the powerlifters out there as well as the basics for some accessories. The staff are also very friendly and helpful!

Went to this gym on opening day and got a great workout in. The gym has great quality equipment and great vibes when working out. Only wish it was closer to me since it is about a hour drive from where I live.
