We lived here for almost 3 years already and from experience there is terrible management and the staff makes everything difficult for tenants instead of assisting them. Moved in and carpets weren’t even shampooed I had to do it myself after we moved in. Cars get broken into every week and they do nothing about it, we even had break-ins into tenants storage closets that are outside the apartment doors. I never lived with roaches in my life until I moved here. All the amenities inside the apartment are old from the toilet to the bedroom doors. Gave two stars for location because it is pretty quiet during the day and the price is reasonable compared to everywhere else in Natomas, but I guess you get what you pay for.
My husband and I lived here for 3.5 years. First in a 2B2B on the B side; then 1B1B on the A side.PRICE: is reasonable compared to apt complexs on this side of Natomas. 1B1B ($1170 in 2018) 2B2B $1280 (2016)LOCATION: my husband and I like it a lot. We call the area the Bermuda triangle because if you look at it one the map its borders are I-80, I-5 and Garden highway. Its a little nook which we liked. Unless you live or work in the area you have no reason to be there.🍴☕️Starbucks, Jamba juice, Indian food, Togos, mountain Mikes pizza, gas station, Chinese food, nail salon, etc...are all close by. We walked to Chevy in the river a few times for drinks and dinner. Downtown is 2 exits away if you like downtown life. There is a path behind the complex that my husband and I would bike or walk to and across the bridge, theres a park where wed go to play tennis, basketball or just enjoy nature. Ill definitely miss that. Ive taken friends and family there for kids to play on the playground and swings while adults hang out. They have skateboarding ramps, soccer field and picnic tables too.NEGATIVES: 1) When we lived on the B side in 2016 we would have the homeless go through the trash at night, but since then theyve added a fence around the back end of the complex, so Im hoping that has improved since then. 2) parking is limited especially at night 3) neighbors: back in 2016 we had neighbors that would smoke inside apt so it would go through the walls and bothered my breathing. Theyd also party it up Friday, Saturday, Sunday sometimes till early hours of the morning. In 2018 our neighbors on the other side of our bedroom wall would fight till 1/2/3am. cops were called few times. 4) Walls are thin. But with any complex you cant control who moves in and who your neighbors are. My husband and I didnt approach management about it so I dont know they would have handled the situation.INSIDE: we liked the layout on 1B1B a lot because it flowed well into each living space. They updated the bathroom and kitchen cabinets, new appliances, recently new roofs. There is a lot of cabinet space in both the 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom layout. Both kitchens are spacious in my opinion.Stacked washer and dryer, dishwasher which is a MASSIVE PLUS because we didnt have to go to a laundry mat to do our laundry. 1 locked utility closet in both layouts.Negative: the bedroom and the closets in the 1B1B are small. My husband and I ended up buying PAX system from Ikea to have enough hanging space.MAINTENANCE: was good, they came in a timely fashion and would give u prior notice when theyd come. They would have written permission to enter if u werent there. Requests can be placed online. The grounds were kept well.PACKAGES: There is a Amazon hub locker thats was recently installed which makes receiving packages convenient and safe. You get a key to the hub lockers and the code when you get a package is sent to your email or phone, so very nice.STAFF: Elizabeth or I called her Liz and Courtney were our favorites. They were always kind, easy to talk to and never made it seem like we were bothering them (some of the others did) when we came to grab our packages or had a question. We liked them a lot.Weve enjoyed our time living at River Pointe Apartments and weve recommended it to friends who are looking for a place in the Natomas area.
It’s not bad, but not greatApartment location is in a great location for traveling to downtown Sacramento. And maintenance is done in a timely matter if you request though an app. Which the show you how use, And if you now how to speak basic English and not just say “it broke pls fix”. Only reason it’s 3 star for me. over priced because they treat it as a sellers market and “they can, so they will” attitude is kinda gross and greedy. Over priced for cheap appliances and a illusion of “Gated” community doesn’t really fool me into thinking you should be paying 1300-1700. But what can you do sellers market. Hopefully the bill will pass and places like this can’t get away with charging an arm or leg for barely good accommodations. Let’s talk about amenities. You have a gym, and pool, and common room and even a Amazon locker. Tho I have ever only use the Amazon locker due to Virus of 2020. But they are just now opening in to tenets, so can’t really ding them for being safe. Overall I think you can rent a home and be happier and maybe even save money. Like I said not the worst place but definitely not the best. Also I am pretty sure these apartments where built in the 70’s maybe 80’s so old but still strong, just not pretty. Also people complain about homeless a lot. That’s a public road dummies. what do you want the owners of the apartment complex to do call the cops on loitering? On a public road? Yeah good luck homie’s, unless they break the law you can’t do much. Stupid “ThEY TrEspASSing, Do sOMe tHiNG ManAgEr” dummies
Whatever you do, do not move into these apartments. It is very hard to get in touch with the manager for issues. I have sent well over 12 formal complaints through emails for my neighbors being loud all day. They do not enforce the animal weight limits which causes issues of noise for neighbors. Nothing is ever done about complaints no matter how evidence is present. I have even began the process of speaking to attorneys to have this problem dealt with, that is how bad it is to live here. All my neighbors and people I have known who have lived here have complained about management and staff. I have never had issues personally with staff so I can’t vouch on that. I wish I would have read a review like this before moving in.
Pros: It is normally quiet throughout the day. I am by the freeway. It is against the river.Cons: Constant transient traffic. Some of the staff is shady. People peeling out in the parking lot in the evening. Unsafe environment for my child. Vandalism to vehicles on property. Contracted security company lies about what they can and cannot do. (Im in private protection so I know whats up). Skeptical people knocking on your door at night. Maintenance issues going for months without being touched. I do not advise you live here until they reduce the criminal activity and and do better with working on the property. It is not safe.
Pleasant place...
I’ve been living in the complex for almost 8 months and have yet to think of something good to say about living here. When I first moved in, there was construction going on and the parking was very limited; parking remains limited. People park their (non running) cars in the visitor spots for weeks at a time, which makes parking even worse. The walls are paper thin. I can my neighbors young child crying/screaming for 20-30 minutes at a time. After months of being awaken at midnight, 2 or 4 a.m. I approached them and was given a lame excuse as to why the child is always crying. I had to buy ear plugs just to get some decent rest. Shower water and dish disposals can be easily heard. There are dumpster divers who roam the parking lot from time to time which can be a bit startling. One neighbor is constantly yelling/arguing with her family members and can be heard through her open windows. ANNOYING!! I’ve recently seen two cars with broken windows which concerns me... Sadly, rent in Sacramento is through the roof which makes it a challenge to find decent living that is affordable.
It was really calm until in the new renters from the apartment under mine started smoking weed(almost daily) and doing barbeque in their apt. All the smoke is really bothering families. So far I know, the policy says to not do this kind of things. The staff needs to be careful who they rent.
Nice and clean
Welcome to the hood! In the 41 days we’ve lived here our gas has been siphoned and our car broken into to be stolen. Just waiting for our friendly neighbors or crackheads down the street that they let wander around try it again the next time we’re out of town for the weekend. Not to mention half of the complex was blocked off by 5 police cars the other day and not one email goes out to let you know what happened or what to be on the look for for peace of mind. Don’t live here alone first of all and just don’t live here at all if you can.
It’s fine price for Sacramento although car break ins are common so that sucks but it ain’t super getto and I still feel safe just not like the right security measures are taken and not to mention a lot of residents are sketchy but there also quiet so I can’t complain about that
Most apts in Sacramento are over priced including this place.
Don’t do it save yourself the headache. It’s murder land and car breakin land and horrible “management”
Kept apt in relatively good condition. That and a $500 deposit was still not enough to cover the damages from move out on bs charges, including furniture indentations on the carpet from a couch lol. Would not recommend if your staying short term. And is pretty ghetto as well.
I’ve been living at this place for a long time, the location is awesome and convenient and that’s great!!;) but and that’s a big but!! The property management office staff and maintenance and even security is on the ground dragging and in need of immediate improvement !!and I’m sorry to use such terms but I feel it’s the truth even the contractors they hire never completed their work!! NEEDS IMPROVEMENT BIG TIME AFTER ALL!!!!
I should have read the reviews before moving here. I highly recommend you DO NOT live here for several reasons. First, the community is VERY loud. People blast music in their homes and cars and you will hear this throughout the day. Second, there are sap trees throughout causing floors to stick and your car to get sticky. Third, payment options are disorganized here so you will not find out how much you actually owe until the day the rent is due. Why? Just mail me my utilities bill. I could go on but this is my experience after a year. Definitely a place that should be considered a LAST resort! Please find something better like I have.
My daughter lives here. I also lived here for 6 months. Its a great place for familys. Or single people.thats why I give it a five star.
The only saving grace of this place is the apartments are pretty nice and in a nice area. Other than that, the people who work this circus are enormous pains in the ass. It has been one incompetence after. Once, they messed up my rent pay, so I had to put a stop on the payment, then they charged me a late fee and said they would remove it and I called for 2 months to have them remove like they said with no call back or anything. The person was always not there right now, but would call me back. Also, rent has gone up over $300 since I moved in so its almost not worth it for the new price.
If there is one positive review on here, its probably written by staff or management. The rent is cheap but its not worth the heartache. Heres why:I am a model resident. You would think an apartment complex would try to provide good customer service to someone one is quiet, pays rent early and keep the apartment immaculate....NOT!When you place a repair order YOU have to keep calling the office to find out when the repairs will be done...And when it is done its very poor work and at times even dangerous.I was injured after falling over a bad carpet/floor job. Even though the management team/leadership admits to the negligence they still refused to compensate me for my injury. Im taking them to court. You would think that the BIG. guy would give the little guy a break especially when theyre at fault but no luck there....For a year I was so sleep deprived from the noise from the upper stairs neighbors- that I almost fell asleep behind the wheel going to work. Before I signed a lease I ask if they enforce noise violations and was lied too. Finally the neighbors lift. The crazy thing is the walls are so thin I can repeat almost every conversation my new neighbors have and they really try to be considerate. Even if you get great neighbors you have to be cautious about the maintenance.
Don’t waste your time with this place. I scheduled an appointment to view a 2bedroom apt over the phone and was given one price. In person, at my appointment, I was told another (significantly higher) price. As I’m driving away, the leasing consultant called me and raises the price $60 more and says “unfortunately, I was looking at the wrong price”. I called the customer service line once more and was given a price $160 cheaper and and exact apartment numbers with their availability dates. During my appointment, I asked if I could apply and the consultant said “if you only have a card I would have to put all that information in”... i work in customer service so I know that means “I’ll do it for you but I don’t really feel like it.” So I said no worries, I’ll apply at home! She then tells me that the current application rate is going up “tomorrow”... odd right? All in all, I was very sick this day and only got out of bed because I was excited about this complex. This was particularly disappointing because I was ready to apply and place my deposit but I was left with no accurate pricing, no resolve, and an extremely bad taste in my mouth. It’s quite odd to me that the pricing was higher on the side that could visibly see the color of my skin. Just don’t waste your time here.
Where do I began. On move in day the apartment smelled horrible the office rep who walked around to check for defects said it smelled bad and will have someone spray. Rewind to during week one of living there. I had a infestation of fleas ( I have no animals) they had to come three times to kill them. Now, I have for the past few months been dealing with mold. Not your normal window seal here and there mold NO black mold growing from inside of wall to out EVERYWHERE!!! my whole house smells. Smells just like that horrid smell we when I first moved in. I’m cleaning mold spots twice a week because they grow instantly in new spots. The mold is so excessive it damaged our beds brand new shoes straight out the box clothes etc. I reached out to renters insurance they said this is management issue they don’t fix. I myself and my husband and my renters insurance have tried to reach out!!! they do not respond. Finally got a note on door saying minor areas was sprayed and they only did window seals. I’m going in the office and taking further measures. All these issues and have not been there for a year. Never got Compensated but they will take your rent 🤷🏽♀️
On move in day I got a call informing me that The apartment that I was set to move into 30 minutes later wasnt ready and I ended up moving to a different unit that happens to have cockroaches. The manager did try to help by offering to move me to another unit. I decided to stay because their pest control worker stated there was no sign of cockroaches when he went to spray, and I didnt want to take the chance that I move into one of the units that were being offered (that looked terrible compared to mine) and have the same issue or worse. Well.. here I am weeks later and there are more cockroaches. I called the office and asked that they spray the entire building rather than just mine, considering i know that they are not coming from ME, and I was told that I can have mine sprayed, and they will only inspect other units around me. Which makes no sense because obviously one of the neighbors has a problem so they will be back. The manager previously informed me that this issue could take up to 6 weeks to fully resolve (in my apt) but I am upset that I have had to deal with this at all. This whole situation has caused me so much stress and embarrassment. I refuse to even have any more company because of the fear that they may take cockroaches home with them. If the problem persists, I will be on my mothers couch until my lease is up.Other than that...Some of the staff are helpful while others are rude. The apartments looks NOTHING LIKE THE MODEL so do not expect to get that. Or even close. My mirrors have some kind of spray or something stuck to them, the blinds are yellow, the medicine cabinets, towel racks, shower rods, and doors are old and very worn, and the washer and dryer are a joke. Had I not already moved out of my previous place of residence, I would have backed out when I did the walk-through.Outside of my apartment REEKS of dog poop which is so gross and embarrassing as well. I have not had one guest or delivery person that hasnt commented on the smell. After the rain was THE worst! And the darkness outside of my apartment is very scary. The parking spots are also extremely tiny.
Pretty quite for the most part but parking is limited
The staff took 3 months to repair a leaking roof. I had a bucket in my living room catching water dripping from the ceiling....for 3 MONTHS. The office staff is rude. Maintenance is rude. Homeless are present daily. Several people live in cars on the streets surrounding the complex. Take your $ elsewhere.
Thanks. It is value for money.
Huge community with access to beautiful walking trail by the orchard Park.Affordable apartment prices but they are old.
This is a nice facility in a nice location but is run by a corporation that constantly tries to get more money out of you. The staff is friendly but has really high turnover. Two times I was told misinformation which resulted in apparently un-waivable late fees. I have only been charged 2 late fees in 20 years of apartment living and all both were charged by River Pointe. They also raise rent as much as possible as often as they legally can. They also gave me the wrong total on move out and withheld their error from my deposit ($140), plus a late fee ($55), plus the last utility bill which was higher than all the other utility bills ($30 extra). Also, Im pretty sure one of the maintenance people stole my drill battery and charger (another $100). So I am down about $325 in 7 months. And to top it off, when i moved in the kitchen cabinets were completely disassembled and fridge was moldy due to a mistake on their part. Of course none of this was listed on their move in walk through, yet every scratch and smudge was kept track of on their move out walk through so they could charge as much as possible. They kept as much of my deposit as they could figure out how. to keep, more than any other place I have lived. This is the only place I have ever moved out of due to dissatisfaction. I have lived about 10 places in my adult life and have never left a bad review. This place is OK if you dont mind being charged $50 extra here, $100 extra there. I am glad to be gone and live in a more predictable and trustworthy apartment complex.
They pushed our move in date 3 times and each one had almost a two week gap. We signed the lease but turns out the manager didnt sign it. Then they tried to offer us another unit because the tenant pushed their move out date another month. Lucky for me im not homeless but they dont care about your livelihood. We took a look at the other unit and lets just say the units do not look nothing like the showroom. The countertops did not match the color of the countertops. They lied to us to make us think the showroom was going to look like something we were getting but was completely uglier. The carpets were a different color which was a dark brown and the countertops were a blueish grey. Very disappointed with this place and happy I didnt live here because I might of had a horrible experience living here with all these problems already.
In summary - customer service sucks, Debbie is on a whole other level of arrogant, management has no accountability. I did not receive the renewal notice 2 months before lease end with the new rates. They automatically renewed the lease for month-to-month for a WHOOPING 40% more or offered to backdate and let me sign an 11-month lease at 8% more.Need advice - Do I have any legal grounds? I did not receive the notice and I know a couple tenants who also did not receive a notice. This is landlord harassment.
My only complaint is neighbor noise upstairs at B356 but thats a big one. I HATE that neighbor! Ive complained about him 10 times but theres nothing they can do. Maintenance is very good and responsive here. I can only recommend living on the second floor here.
CONSTANT CAR BREAK-INS - Despite reporting various vandalism incidents, management has yet to increase efforts to protect the residents. In a two-week period multiple break ins to the vehicles occurred (my vehicle included). Personally, it costs us over $300 dollars to replace.MANAGEMENT Agreed to increase patrolling only to find immediate neighbors’ window smashed a week later.Rent continues to increase yet no responsibility on the management to address the issues. (Not even a warning letter alerting the community of the issue).
I called to see if they had any available apartments for immediate move in and was told there were two available so I made an appointment for a tour, arranged to leave work early for the tour, completed the online application and paid the $40.00 application fee. When I arrived I was told they had no apartments available and that the two apartments that their call center (thats right you cant call the office directly you have to contact a call center that handles numerous apartment complexes) doesnt have accurate information.I was told the two available apartments were actually being treated for bugs which would take several weeks to complete. (Not sure what kind of bugs take weeks to kill)It was very impersonal and a complete waste of my time. I was told I would receive a refund so hopefully that comes thru.
We lived in river pointe for 11 months and moved out last month. We were not really happy with the apartment and had to stay there to complete a school year. We just got some of our deposit back. The Office Staff who did the initial inspection mentioned that the carpets doesnt have any stains or tear and require only basic cleaning[60$], but when we got the bill there is an additional 150$ cleaning for the heavy curry damage. Still dont know what it is.Pros:1.Rent is low2.Lots of trees and greenery3.Good no of outdoor courts( tennis, handball)Cons:1.The apartment doesnt have a gate and the place is a hub for homeless people. You wont feel safe to walk around the apartment common areas even during daytime.2.It is a 30+ years old apartment and so if you are on upper floor always be ready to get complaints from people downstairs even for walking inside your home.3. All the kitchen appliances are really old. [they mentioned about an upcoming update]4.Dont be fooled by the apartment pictures in their sites. Everything will look okay at first and then within first week the apartment will start to look like ancient and dirty. Rooms, especially bathrooms are really small and walls are thin.5. We have seen police vehicles inside the apartment (day & night).6. Many of the residents are rude. We had bad experiences twice and reported it to the management.7.No light fittings in bedrooms and living room.8. There is always some kind of confusion when you go to pick up packages from the front office. Most of the time they say the packages are not there. Then you come again the next day some other staff will find the packages and say the packages came yesterday itself.Overall I would say the place is good for bachelors who are looking for a low-rent place to stay. I would not recommend this place to families with kids.
My friend recently moved in these apartments very small she lives in a two bedroom one bath way different from the model they showed her, they only remodeled the kitchen area in the bathroom the sinks in the bathroom are still very old brown doors and light fixtures are also very old they are a good price for the simple fact the square feet they are small . Thats probably why the prices are reasonable they also change every day so you have to get locked into that price and water sewer garbage goes off the amount of people in the household I dont like that either
Crime, drugs, loud music, fighting, police, verrrrrrry thin walls, management does nothing when brought aware of problems. Do yourself a favor, pay a little more in rent and live in a quieter community.
Had nothing but problems... I wouldnt recommend staying here. The customer service is horrible the only good thing I would say about it is the service team was nice and did a good job.
The staff is really helpful and the maintenance coming next day When I leave a note.... They have a really beautiful park my kids love it, clean swimming pool 👍🏼👍🏼
Very Rude Manager. The management over here is the worst. I moved to a house and I gave my moving address over phone, the manager flipped the zipcode numbers and she wrote my address incorrectly. Looks like i got due to pay some money to them(Charged random high fee for normal cleaning). Nevertheless, I would have paid the amount if i had got to know. But these people without letting me know hit collections on my credit. Worst management.
Fabulous Great Amazing Beautiful place
This place was ok when I lived here 4 years ago. Not real complaints....BUT the unit they show you to represent the unit you expect to get is so so soooo much nicer than the actual units. I felt majorly cheated when I got my actual unit and it looked like an entirely different world than the show room
The show apartment looks nice but the actual unit looks very different and not even close to the show room
Great location. Washer and dryer in unit. Gym, several pools. Great staff.
Rude staff.. was told 3 different price in person ad over the phone. The manager did not carr what we had to say.And never got tour of the place
Friendly staff, good prices, utilities are included in rent. Definitely would recommend to friends and family
Nice apartments
Very nice people work here and the apartments are great. Do not expect to get your deposit back however upon moving out.
I should have never moved from these apartments. They are such a reasonable price and have a great walking trail in the back as well.
The children that live here in these apartments cant go outside unbotherd. Everytime my neighbors kids would go to the park or basketball court the received stupid complaints. Due to these complaints my neighbors must stay inside and make a lot of noise, though I do not complain other neighbors do and its a problem. Its just annoying.
Cozy office, lots of walking trails, close to everything and my apartment is great.
I live here .. I hate this place only because there is a leasing consultant girl that speak Spanish in the office and when we call to fix something or we have a problem she say that she no speak Spanish .. she always do that.. is not the first time..and we know that she speak Spanish ... we feel discriminated....
Love this apartment complex very peaceful here has been my experience.
Good neighborhood and nice complex
Very thin walls, like I can hear my neighbors sneeze* thin. Lived here 1.5 years and water heater has broken twice aka no hot water for few days at a time. This place use to have cheap rent, but its been going up nonstop, so not really worth it anymore.
The rent is cheap for the area. It is the least expensive apartment building for miles around. The patios/balconies are spacious and each unit comes equiped with a washer dryer set ! there are 3 or 4 pools in the complex as well as a tennis court a small indoor basket ball court, and several play structures/ playgrounds for the little ones.I have lived in several apartments that advertise on site gyms only to disapointed by the lack of quality and equipment in the so called gym. Riverpoint apartments however has a very nice gym that is open 24hrs a day with modern workout machines and a small play area with toys and books and cable television for the kids. You truly can get a full body workout plus cardio. When I lived here maitnence request were always completed within 24hrs. Most nights were quiet however I did here the occasional domestic argument. Overall I had a great experiance living here from 2013-2015. I would have no problem moving back if the need ever arised.
Love it its like a nice paradise in a nature forest
Really disappointed with this apartment and the leasing office staff and the maintenance people.First of all this is a very very old apartment and all the electrical equipment are not in good shape at least in my unit. Thats why there was fire in my bathroom and the air vent fan and vynyl floor literally burnt and i had to call 911 to resolve it. But its been more than a week since i am unable to use my bathroom and the master bedroom as burning smell is there the leasing office people does not care to replace the things.Everytime i call them, they are saying that they have ordered for a new vent fan. They dont understand that what problem i am facing in my house. The quality of the place is not at good. I hope they ll understand when they face the same problem at their place and the management will talk to you very arrogantly all the time.Even there other lot of problem in my apartment unit such as bad smell from all the kitchen cabinets and vinyl floor is really old and they dont care to change even after multiple complaints from the moment i moved in to this place.Guys, plz avoid this place. This is the reason this apartment is cheaper than others because for the name sake they have maintenance and very arrogant and rude, misbehaved CSRs and leasing officers. They have 700 houses here but they dont have spare part to fix the issue or at least little discenecy to talk properly with their tenants. After all we are not staying freely and this CTL property management people they think they own the place and so that they can misbehave you and talk to you rudely for no reason even though they have all the faults.
I was a tenant at River Point Apartments for a year and a half and actually just moved out of there yesterday. The quality of living there is not very good, and here are my reasons why. I would highly recommend reading this before moving there.1.) NOISY TENANTS: Noise is a constant problem there, so dont expect much relaxation or sleep. Much to my dismay I had two neighbors living below me who would often stay up late and party until 6am. I would also be woken up by two incredibly loud dogs that belonged to someone a couple units away. Fireworks were also a pretty big problem and they were so loud that it would disrupt the entire residency. A lot of tenants would also blare the bass while driving their cars around. My step brother lived at River Pointe and moved out at the same time as well because of the same reasons. He always complained that his neighbors were inconsiderate too.2.) POOR SECURITY: River Pointe has no closed gates so of course anyone can come in and out of the property. Ive had two of my friends cars keyed while they were visiting, and almost every time that I took my trash out I would meet a different homeless guy picking through the dumpster. River Pointe also used to have Paladin Security, and when they were contracted you would always see them patrolling and checking the property. Now Paladin is gone and they hired a new group called SVPD. They changed the patrol over six months ago and I still have never seen one of the new guys or their car around. A few of my nieghbors also told me about theft happening on the property. One of my previous neighbors had his car stolen from the lot!3.) TERRIBLE QUALITY AND MAINTENANCE: Even from the first day that I moved into River Pointe, I couldnt shake the feeling of cheapness that revolved around it. The overall build qaulity of the units are less than satisfactory, and my unit had paint chipping, stains on the carpet, tears in the linoleum, cracked window blinds, and many insect problems because of a cheap wall calking job. There were also leaking pipelines, corroding wall panels, and my front door had no weather strip. What makes all this even more discouraging is that my property manager didnt even know about the damages and apologized on the day that I moved in. Maintenace was not much better either. Every time that I called for a repair the issues were never fixed, and usually I had to rely on my own money and time to see that it was done correctly.4.) EXTRA ISSUES: No parking, very few dumpsters (resulting in trash everywhere), cheap groundskeeping, and a property management team that is very hit and miss (some are nice, some arent).Overall, I would highly recommend to stay away from this place. The proprty andthe tenants that are being accepted in are both decreasing in quality, and worst of all no one cares. The rent is also very high when considering what you have to deal with. Sacramento has better to offer and if I were you I would look elsewhere. I Hope this helped everyone!
Cars are broken into and nothing is done about it. Security is here but not alot. Location is good though
Good apt complex but secluded from a lot stores
I have lived here nearly three years without incident. Always a gracious office staff that was very helpful with whatever I needed. Then, at somepoint recently they got a new on-site property manager, Kanoi (sp?). Thanks to her, I have no choice but to find a new place to live.Back in May (2012) I asked that my AC be looked at because it looked and sounded like it wasnt working properly. Maintenance came out and replaced a filter. Come June/July and the 105degree heat (keep in mind I am also 8 months pregnant) I try to use my AC and if I dont put it down as LOW as it can go, it doesnt work. So, you can imagine my frustration, especially when my energy bill came and it was nearly triple what it used to be. I go to the office and ask for this situation to be escalated to the manager (Kanoi), along with copies of my bill (which I had made relatively clear, this wasnt about paying for my bill....I just wanted my AC fixed) to show as an indication that I think there may be a bigger problem with the AC.TWO WEEKS (of 100 deg + weather and an ever-growing belly) go by and Kanoi has not only NOT called or acknowledged the issue, but maintenance had not come out either. So I go to the main property manager and let them know of the issue. Kanoi somehow manages to find it in her busy schedule to call me and let me know that 1) Didnt you just call a couple of days ago? (No, actually I called two WEEKS ago)2) Maintenance looked at your AC, its fine, and we wont be compensating you for your bill (My AC is NOT fine, and no one asked for compensation, I just wanted my AC fixed)Keep in mind: my AC unit is one of the oldest at the property, plants are growing out of it and it appears the back of the AC is held together with ZIP TIES.Another week (of ridiculous heat and a HOT apartment) or so goes by, and Kanoi calls me again. This time informing me that IF I sign another 12 month lease, only THEN will my AC be replaced with a new, working unit. She also dubbs this a compromise...so basically, I do what they tell me to do (in regards to my lease) and then I Can get a properly working AC? I dont think so. If its bad enough to be replaced if I re-sign my lease, shouldnt it be bad enough to replace regardless? Apparently not.In my OPINION, this has become a crappy place to live with CRAPPY management by Kanoi and she should be ashamed of herself for the compromise she came up with. I look forward to getting the HECK out of here the second my lease is up. Keep looking, my friends. Sacramento is a big city and there are many places out there that probably actually CARE about their residents.
Drug interactions, stay away! Residents using side gate on Oak Harbor Drive for drug interactions with passing motorists. Stay away, low life drug dealers live here
Cool 😎 neighborhood
Its nice to live there
Been here 3 years. Seems like anyone can move in. Much noisy now.
This is an absolute crap hole. Rent is through the roof, cars get broken into often, people play loud music all the time
