I had my inspection completed here and receive fast service. Bernie and Ian were great! I will absolutely be returning for inspections and other services.

Great spot for getting your oil changed. Been getting oil changes here for years and they always do an excellent job. This last visit was kind of weird.I got my oil changed like usual, but this time they said I needed my timing belt changed. I almost got it done but did some research and found out my car has a timing chain rather then a rubber belt which is supposed to last the life of the car and doesnt necessarily need to be changed. I mean I could be wrong, Im not a mechanic and maybe it needs to be changed. But I feel like they were trying to pull a fast one on me this time. Like I said other than that, great place for an oil change, they do good work.

The staff is courteous and exceedingly quick. They all great you with a smile and genuinely are happy to serve you. They check all aspects of your vehicle and give a free estimate as to what the cost would be to repair everything. They give a quote before they begin work on your vehicle and are happy to do a full service based on the individual needs of the customer. I will definitely return and I highly recommend this location to any and all potential patrons.

Maybe they are good at Oil changes, but NEVER EVER take your car here for any repairs. Their mechanics are incompetent.I brought a car here to get inspected, and they said it required new plugs and coils. They damaged one of the coil connectors, but told me the problem was due to a leaking valve gasket, which they then charged me a lot of money for. It never fixed the problem, and they told me my car was basically too far gone to bother fixing, blaming it on a bad cam lobe.I took it to a REAL mechanic, who diagnosed the broken coil pack connector.

Bernie was beyond helpful and went above my expectations. He helped give me insight to a few problems and checked tubes and fluids I didn’t ask him to check. He was informative and kind. I highly recommend this location and seeing Bernie!

Today was my 2nd visit to this Kwik Kar location, managed by Alex, due to an emergency after finding a puddle of fluid under my car. I had the car towed to their shop where I was promptly helped by all staff members who were professional, super nice and accommodating. I was very anxious / nervous about the potential problem and cost but the staff put my mind at ease as they lead me into their very nice, clean office where I enjoyed some fresh coffee. I assumed that I’d be there for a few hours so I got comfortable but lucky for me the staff was incredibly prompt and within minutes, I was notified of the issue which luckily was minor, exactly how they were going to fix it and the cost. I also got a 10% discount because their location offers amazing specials throughout the week and value customer loyalty. I even got a free luxury car wash with my oil change! In addition to the repairs, I also replaced my windshield wipers and got an oil change. Despite how warm and welcoming they were, I still felt nervous about the price until I spoke with Alex and Matt who assured me they would do everything to keep costs low. They did exactly that and I left feeling as if I had underpaid and you never hear that! Out the door in less than 30 minutes and money still in the bank! I seriously cannot say enough amazing things about this particular Kwik Kar but if I keep going, I’ll end up writing a novel. In closing, if you have ANY car issues, please go to see Alex, Matt and the rest of the team ASAP. Highly recommended is an understatement. HUGE THANKS to the entire team. Personal note: A tremendous staff who deserves a tremendous raise. Well done! :)

Was eating lunch next door. Watched these people change oil on this car, then it started smoking so bad I had to roll my windows up. Two employees drove the car around and it was still smoking. Nice reply from the owner. Care to explain what happened here? Asking for a friend, would not recommend going to this location or any “kwik lube” type place for that matter.Gonna go ahead and edit this review thanks to the the response from the owner: The employee in the drivers seat was visibly ashamed of himself and was chain smoking. Sounds like he broke something. Overfilled the oil? Would be nice if the owner just provided a simple explanation instead of a deflection. And yes, this display of lunacy was enough to convince me never to trust your establishment. First impressions matter.

Came for oil change. After oil change, my car wouldnt start. I was told my car battery was bad. This despite I had just recently purchased a brand new one (elsewhere). They jump started my car but tried to sell me a car battery. After that, I got car battery tested elsewhere and was told it was perfectly fine. Also, after that, I had zero incidents starting my car again. Beware!

I had a state inspection here and was out very quickly. Very nice customer service and professionalism.

Mechanic preformed services for my wifes car during inspection/oil change without first advising her of the costs (brake fluid and trans fluid flushing). She understood that she needed brake fluid and transmission fluid only. Shop needs to shows what is going to happen and the cost of the service in writing to the individual before preforming the work. I have been using this shop for more than 10 years and this is the first time that this is happened and the last time I will be using that shop.

Staff was very helpful and kind. I came in for an inspection and found out there were a few problems. Since the vehicle didn’t pass inspection I wasn’t charged but Bernie told me what was wrong and advised me on how I could fix it in the most cost effective way. He also gave me the option of having them fix it and provided a very reasonable quote. I really appreciate their transparency and desire to provide good service!

Very professional and skilled at their jobs with great experience in their profession. Very friendly and helpful. Prices seem fair (even slightly below) compared to other places. Would highly recommend.My coolant was recently having issues and I thought the levels were just low, so I refilled the tank. A few days later, j went to get my oil changed. On the drive, I heard a funny noise under my hood. When I got there, they told me I had a major leak in my coolant line, as well as my a/c line. They showed me the evidence and broke down to me in laymans terms how/why this was occurring. They got the parts in quick (a few hours later that same day, and fixed my car. Not only that, but they sprayed down the entire area under the hood with a cleaning spray and cleaned out all dirt/grime under the hood. For free! Also vacuumed out my car for free too.As I said, very satisfied with the job!

Went in for state inspection was told would not pass with making 268.00 worth of repairs for a belt. Come to find out the belt should not even be part of the inspection went right down the street to someone else passed no issues no problems. Disappointed I have always come here for my inspection will not be back due to dishonest practice. Had no choice but to get charged for oil change because they had already done it. But would have rather had it done with company who did inspection truthfully. will not return

I love this place. I usually go first thing Saturday or Sunday morning and have never waited more than 20 minutes. They dont try to sell you anything and even make suggestions on the best way to save money. Everyone is friendly and respectful from the mechanics to the office.

Wife took car here for a simple oil change after I advised against due to a bad experience in the past. She was told the engime had alllllll kinds of problems. We asked to just change oil and after wife leaves the shop, engine starts leaking. I doubt this was a coincidence. Now, itll cost me money to diagnose the problem that was never there.

I visited today for a state inspection. The mechanic that assisted me (a woman) was very nice, professional and very quick. However, the staff inside, in particular the woman who checks people out was rude, and she was sick to her stomach and still working! I was paying and she told me shes been sick and vomiting and I said I dont want to get sick and she said not to worry because I had a strong smell and smells were bothering her...Im pretty sure I bathed that morning and my perfume was not intense. Either way, I was totally annoyed by that comment. Some guy came in to finish the transaction because she said I smelled too strong. He didnt apologize he just stared at me and handed me my receipt. Im now scared Im going to get sick with whatever she had, and annoyed that someone would say I smelled out loud. Why would you have sick employees at work? I heard her say she had been throwing up all day... I will never go back to this location. I called before I went to ask about wait and that same girl was so rude. I should have known better before going in and wasting my time and money and potentially sacrificing my health getting a stomach bug in the process. Ugh. I would have given 4 stars if I hadnt been treated rudely inside, because the mechanic who assisted me was wonderful.

Service is great, Ive had my oil changed here and my inspection done. 0 problems other than a guy trying to tell me my brand new brakes were worn down. My concern is the guys who test drive the cars speeding up and down my street, barely stopping at stop signs and completely ignoring a concerned parent yelling at them to slow the hell down. Called the manager hope she fixes it. Until then only 2 stars.

Daughter had car inspected here. Was told she needed new serpentine belt. Took to our mechanic.....nothing wrong with the belt, still looked brand new. They saw a young lady and thought they could sell her a bill of goods. Theyve lost my business.......

This is my second time coming here. The first time I noticed a little kids play area with legos and some toys. This is huge and was literally my main reason in coming back. I very rarely have less than 1 child with me at all times. The first time was an inspection (fast) and today was an oil change (also fast.) I did have a hard time understanding what I was needing to do, but went ahead and did what I thought was needed. After speaking with my husband, I called back with more questions and the receptionist kindly put the manager (Kristen) on the phone without me needing to even request her. Without even questioning me, or trying to prove me wrong, she made things right. I will definitely be coming back and thank you for that.

Went in for a state car inspection they did not do the safety inspection that I got charged for they just sat in the car playing around with the dash an gave it back to me with that dash messed up I said something to them they don’t care an they didn’t even give the car back wiped off from touching everything very unprofessional an who knows how many othe cars they sign off that left in safe

My husband and I had previously used Sears Auto when we lived out of state but found that when we moved back to TX all of the ones near us had not-so-great reviews, so we decided to try Kwik Kar based on what people had to say about them online. I took my car in today for an oil change and inspection. I was so glad that I chose them! I was in and out in about 30-40 minutes, which was great considering that I had my 14-month-old with me. Speaking of which, they had a wonderful childrens area separate from the regular waiting room - both of which were clean and comfortable - and it was thoughtfully filled with toys and books for little ones. The gentleman who worked on my car did recommend an air filter, though did not force me into it. He simply mentioned that mine was dirty and left it at that. He did not try to up sell me on anything, which was nice as I am used to auto mechanics doing that to me when I am without my husband (or my father when I was younger). Service was friendly, speedy and honest. I will be returning to Kwik Kar for my next oil change.

I was surprised to find a shop so highly rate but they back it up! From the minute I pulled in they were immediately attentive, professional and courteous. They did an excellent job.

It was really crowded and I was still in and out within 45 minutes. Thats pretty good for a Saturday morning when everyone is trying to get their cars worked on.

Oil side employees are friendly, and helpful. Mechanic, George, told me one price, on the phone and told me there was a new policy, and I had to buy their parts, A control arm, and a tie rod turned into a $900.00 dollar repair. Kwik Kar did a fine job. We had a nightmarish ordeal dealing with our car issue, but working with Kwik Kar in Sachse has at least provided a silver lining to the entire experience. Kristin and staff at Kwik Kar was very helpful, responsive and fair, while providing great details and explanation to what we are looking at and the issues found. I felt the folks there were trying their best to resolve our car issues, and were very responsive when we had to bring the vehicle back for more diagnostics and repairs. It took a long painful week to resolve the problem, but this is one of the best customer service experience weve had. They definitely do a great job with the small stuff (oil change, inspection), and better than what we had expected for the bigger stuff. We think they are somewhat limited in what all they can do being a smaller shop, but they do a great job with what they are able to do.

Oil changes start st 59 for full synthetic. Staff was great as and nice. Like this place as they are a recommend when needed place not every time I go in.

I had an engine light on. Mechanic checked gas cap and said it was fine. Told me i had major issues. Took it to dealer. They put the gas cap on right and i was good to go. I will never go there again.

I went to Kwik Kar in Mesquite and they messed up two lug nuts and studs on my tire. I talked to the manager today and they refused to help fix the issue and quoted me almost $140 to fix it. I decided to stop by the Kwik Kar in Sachse by my house, and showed them the paperwork from the other Kwik Kar. They let me know that the two stores arent connected, and offered to help! They repaired the damage the other store left me with and charged me NOTHING! Im so grateful and thankful for the crew working here 😭❤

I have brought all of our cars here for several years now for usual oil change service and Alex has always been great, the service has been quick (I mostly arrive on off hours, but when I have been there at peak times they are also pretty quick relative to what I would expect).Today, at 10am I took one of our cars for their Wednesday break special (10% off) and Marcus took the time to explain the standard prices (which are great!) but also listed to my explanation that the front rotors were certainly gone. He explained the price if just rotors, then explained that it could be more if I had done further damage (and provided an estimate).I then received a call two hours later with the final quote for the full job and was asked confirmation to proceed. Fast forward to 4pm and my car was complete. I honestly cannot believe they did the job they did in that time frame even on a slow Wednesday and would not expect that level of service every day (lucky slow day, off hours helped it along probably) - maybe we are all adjusted to the new level of service in the world, but these guys and gals are on top of their service in every way.I would take my cars here even if I did not live close. It is hard to find people and service at this level.

The technician met me at my car as soon as I pulled up and presented a very professional attitude as he asked which service I was here for. The management are always professional and friendly. I have lived in Sachse for three years now and I bring all four of my vehicles here and have done so for the three years that I’ve been here. This place rocks and the staff are professional and friendly and efficient.

June 2020 Update:I took 2 vehicles again and both were done rapidly, this time, under 40 minutes for both. I love the efficiency with which these guys (its a woman that does the inspection) operate. I am very satisfied with their mode of operation being efficient and friendly. Thats a hard thing to find with carshops but these guys get what it means to have repeat customers. Also, they accept Tap Pay (I used Samsung pay) and have WiFi.===============================I loved going here. They were very fast with my State inspection. Something that caught my eye is there were three women that worked there. I loved seeing this. Its not a normal occurrence to see women at a car shop so it was quite refreshing.What I liked:- Both the inside and the actual shop was very clean- They have WiFi- Very friendly- Great customer service- Very fastThey did two car inspections in under one hour. Maybe I went at the right time but Ive never had a car inspected in under an hour let alone 2!👍

Back in March 2017, I needed to have my transmission fluid replaced on my 2001 Chevy 1500 Silverado, which had 180,000 plus miles.Little history: My previous experience with Lube Shops have been for them to refrain from changing transmission fluid with cars/trucks over 100,000 miles. Being my own mechanic, I understand why shops are reluctant to changing transmission fluids. Transmissions that have burnt fluid (brown and/or dark brown), indicating the clutches are worn. When new fluid is changed, the grit of the clutch bands have been flushed away with the old fluid. When I had asked other shops to change my dull pink fluid and that I would to assume any risk by signing a waiver if my transmission did not work, the other shops would still not be willing to help.I did not have time to perform a total fluid (fluid removed from the Transmission and Torque Converter), as I was preparing to haul a 30 Trailer to go camping.I expressed these concerns to Dennis and I informed him that I wanted a COMPLETE transmission flush. I did not want just the Transmission Pan and filter changed, because the major of the transmission fluid always resides in the Torque Converter, which can not be drained from just dropping the pan.After my agreement to assume the risk, the estimated time was to be an hour, which I told Dennis I was not in a rush.Three hours later, I picked up the truck and spoken with Dennis and his crew. Listening to him and his crew and understanding his efforts, Dennis went Above and Beyond a simple transmissionchange and put 3 hours of work into the project.When I picked up my truck, I had forgotten how smooth my transmission is designed to shift. (Think of the Frog in Boiling Water story). Hauling the 30 foot trailer, the camping equipment and motorcycle, the truck did not slip or have a problem.Now its April and I have placed 1000+ miles on the truck and my fluid is still BRIGHT PINK, which tells me that Dennis replaced ALL the fluid.I appreciate Denniss hard working efforts and allowing me to assume the risk, if my truck transmission failed. My approach might not be for everyone, but JUST the effort and attitude of Dennis to do the job right the first time has yield positive results. Thank you Dennis!Also, Dennis and his team were kind, friendly and a well oiled machine (pun intended). ;)From a Do-it-yourself mechanic, I WILL do business again!Thank you team!Mark

I will not return it this one. The person that looked at my car could barely speak English, therefore it was hard to understand what needed to get done. The stuff they want to replace was replaced last time, then told me I need to go to the dealership and get my other stuff fixed. The old management was a lot better and friendlier.

I took my car in yesterday for a regular oil change and was in and out in 20 min. The only problem was the price was a little higher than I was used too. I have seen coupons that I will be using next time. All the service guys were friendly and nice.
