SERVICE DEPARTMENTGreat customer service. Darrel, Service Advisor, has set a new bar for what customer service should and needs to look like. I am from out of town working in the area. I brought my truck in for a check engine light and A/C not cooling. I had a minor issue with the A/C not working as should when I picked it up after they made repairs. I called Darrell, and he didn’t hesitate to get my truck back in the shop and make it right. A little inconvenient for me, but the way the situation was handled it was all worth it. If you need repairs completed on your vehicle, I would highly recommend this dealer. Thanks again Darrell for taking care of me and getting me back on the road so quickly. My Car was brought to this dealership 6 months. I have called several times about receiving my engine cover that Mike in the Collision department promise me but keeps giving the run around on. I also had several repairs that was done improper but all i am asking for is my engine cover. You already installed my hood wrong used old parts when insurance paid for new parts and still left my fog light cracked. Mike said he order parts from dodge stated they had it on back order. I called Dodge asked how long will it take for me to get a engine cover he told me 1 day but I am here 6 months waiting. So i called mike told him what the man said. He calm my engine came in so i gave me my address to send it. Now another month has passed. If i did not stay 11 hours away i would come up there an get this handled personally. I expect so action to be taking on this immediately i paid 13,000 for my car the be repaired correct that did happen but all I am asking for is my engine cover is that so hard to send

My experience at Courtesy progressively got worse as time went on. I was an out of state buyer and before I arranged plans to come purchase a used Lexus, I spoke with my salesperson Ricky Woods. Being that I was coming in from out of the area and didn’t want to be presented with any surprises, I explicitly asked him if there was anything to note about the vehicles condition, inside or out. He seemed decent over the phone and confidently confirmed there was absolutely nothing, the vehicle was in excellent condition and that they had just put a new set of tires on it. After flying there I immediately noticed the front end was damaged of which there was no mention prior, and additionally there was a tear in the center console, and to top it off did not have new tires installed as I had been told (they were mix-matched tires, none of which were new).As far as the front-end damage, there was a quarter sized chunk missing out of the bumper, the grill and frame around the grill had been cracked, and the fender had a small buckle from the impact (approx $1500-1800 worth of damage). These were impossible to “not have noticed” as Rick claimed. They proceeded to tell me the damage had happened since it had arrived there likely on a previous test drive, but in speaking to another salesperson he informed me it was traded to them with the damage.At this point I, as anyone in this situation would be, was expecting some sort of concession on the price. I proceeded to speak with the owner of the dealership who had absolutely zero understanding for the situation and bluntly and rudely declined to give me a dime off the price we agreed upon before arriving (which was only $400 under asking price). I had explained how the cars condition had been highly misrepresented to me by Rick and his response was, “Well that’s between you and your salesperson”, excuse me but your salesperson represents you and the dealership does he not? If your salesperson is spewing blatant lies to me does that not fall back on the dealership at any level?Overall extremely disappointed with how the vehicle was misrepresented to me and how they handled the situation. Looking back on it they definitely knew the damage was there from the start but thought because I was coming in from out of the area and I wouldn’t back out of the deal because of the inconvenience. This dealership was one disappointment after the next. Take your business elsewhere, dont waste your time at this place.EDIT: Theyve done nothing. Havent heard a word from them.
The driver of my shuttle was very nice person, seems like a genuine person.The store didn’t have any rentals available so I was stuck at home for 2 days.The man in the services department was kind of rude.When I paid my services bill some of the staff stood around me and looked.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, My Terrain had an issue with oil consumption, and Darrell was on it. Auburn and the staff treated us like royalty, and Tim Dollar and Darrell made the necessary repairs happen. we got it home, and something was not quite right, so we took it back. Darrell said the tech who worked on our car was out to lunch, so he put us back into a rental car, and when we came to pick it up, not only had they taken care of the problem, but had detailed the car for us.

Clint checked me in and was very friendly and professional. He kept me informed during the day and notified me when the job was completed. While inquiring about an additional purchase, I spoke with Leslie a few days later and expressed disappointment that the minor repair was not covered under the extended warranty I purchased with the truck. He inquired and found that it was and would be refunded that portion of the service. Id made an assumption that my warranty information was attached to my purchase file and would come up automatically during service visits. I appreciate being able to have complete trust in Leslie and the Courtesy team and remain committed to calling upon them for all of my future purchases.

I made an inquiry online Sunday night assuming the impossible, Phyllis contacted me Monday Morning, I explained precisely what I had in mind, knowing it was a 2021 vehicle. She explained she was fairly new but would do her best to find what I wanted. I had not really planned to purchase until early 2021. Phyllis contacted me with the hour and said she had found the vehicle. I told her Id come in and talk to her about it. She made the purchase experience very smooth and explained all I needed to know. I never received a call in reference to when my vehicle was complete. I didnt receive an receipt. I asked for my car to get checked for the oil lost ever week and it was not done- I was told to just get another engine, no diagnostic was done.

An Unsatisfied Customer!Ralph, the Service Manager, told me that a fuel injection service should be done every 30,000 miles which means when I bring my 2012 Acadia Denali in for an oil change, they should recommend it every other oil change! I was not able to validate his observation. Why did he state this? Because I Courtesy completed and charged me $225.97 + tax for this service on June 19th, however, I took my vehicle for a 2nd opinion for the other recommended repairs (~$2,000.00 worth) this morning, and Auto shop owner recommended a fuel injection service!! Wait!! What?? Long story short, after they completed the other repairs for 1/3 of what the dealership quoted, I drove straight to Courtesy with these pictures and Ralph stated that it looked good for the amount of miles on my vehicle. Also, the injection process only lasts about 15 minutes and the mechanics do not check to see if the 15 minute process actually cleaned it or not....hmmmm, no quality control, takes too much time, or would they have to charge me more to check and see if cleaning process worked??? By the way, Ralph admitted to his high labor costs due to his overhead.... Okay, that is obvious, but not helpful. So basically, Ralph indicated that since I was not having this service done every 30,000, then the best that I could expect is what the photos reflect (taken with a scope today by the other Auto shop).....Nothing offered, No apology, Nothing..... #Done #MySpouseIsDone #GMCDoBetter

My husband went up there today because of a recall they were suppose to fix weeks back... well it didn’t get fixed and it came back on and was messing up sensors. Anyways, he went today and the service desk never even acknowledged his existence. He then went up to the counter and told them he had recalls and they were going to charge us right at $400 to fix the issue. He left and did it himself. The salesmen are great, but the service desk needs to be cleaned out. My husbands job makes him get a brand new vehicle every 4-8 years, so we were hoping we found a good dealership to stick with. Needless to say they lost our business!

Completed the purchase for a brand new truck and was told a day later that I don’t qualify and price went up dramatically
First off, Had Auburn as a service writer....great service! Kept us informed about our vehicle and handled everything with getting us checked out. My issue is with the customer service received with the lady at the check out window. I redeemed points to use towards the price of our service, using my Chevy rewards. I was told it actually needed to be printed out, which I understand and had no problem with. But the lady, with the dark hair, responses were very rude and her unwillingness to help retrieve the voucher was uncalled for. I hope she doesnt treat all customers this way. Thankfully, the service writer we had resolved the issue. There isnt a place to comment about the ladies at checkout on the survey that is received after service so Im putting my comment here.My experience using vouchers at other dealerships were totally different, just provided my email address and they were able to pull the voucher for me. After my comments about her response, she was not apologetic and only commented that she doesnt know anything about the voucher or how to retrieve them, just that she needed them for her paperwork per the dealership owner/manager. Totally uncalled for!

I invested in a nice car and take care of it as maintenance guide recommends. I would have hoped the dealership I purchased it from would take better care of its customers. I took my car in for oil change, tire rotation and their 21 point inspection. Per their inspection the battery was Green = in good shape. Well today just the day after I was stranded with a dead battery and when it was replaced you couldnt see the post for the corrosion 😠. To top things off they made sure to give me a repair estimate of maintenance due on next scheduled maintenance visit of $2100! What else did they not do?

I had my truck in for a recall repair. They said the part would be in in a few days. Two days later they called and I set up an appointment for the next day. First thing the next morning, they acted like they never called me, and the part was on backorder! I suspect they used the part to fix another vehicle, as this is a huge recall with deaths involved.They should change their name to Discourtesy Chevrolet! Horrible customer treatment! There are other dealerships within an hours drive that treat customers much better!UPDATE 3-13-20: I called on Wednesday on 3-11 and asked for the owner. I left a voice mail with my phone number and havent heard back since. Is the reply a robo-response?

The work was excellent and the people were great but I would never recommend Courtesy Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac of Ruston to a friend, family member, or colleague because the cost to get a vehicle serviced there is ridiculously expensive. The cost is so expensive that I get the thought that Courtesy does not want people to bring their vehicles there to get fixed. I brought my truck to get serviced at the Courtesy dealership because it was a last resort to find out why my check engine light was on and I am fully satisfied with the work that was preformed.

I want to say thank you to Claudia Michel. I was traveling to Mesquite, TX (on my way back from visiting my daughter in Monroe, LA). Shortly after leaving Monroe, I noticed that the road seemed extra bumpy. After checking the information screen on my auto dash, I saw that my tires were over inflated. As I was approaching Ruston, I saw the sign for the dealership and exited. Claudia approached me immediately and I explained my concern to her. She had someone to inspect my tires (to make sure that there were no other issues) and then deflate them to the proper PSI. Approximately 15 minutes later, I was back on the road and heading home! While I was waiting, another employee (I dont recall his name) went to the employee break room to obtain a cup of ice for me. I was very impressed with the friendliness and the service and will not hesitate to refer them to my family and friends in the area! Thanks again!!!

I am totally apalled by the service I just received from this dealership. I arrived for my scheduled appointment for an oil change on time. When my daughter and I entered the service area. I proceeded to the service counter. There were two men talking about an issue with a tail light or something. I stood there for at least 5 minutes and not once did either of them address my in any way. An older white lady walked in about 3 minutes after I did. They didnt address her but as soon as the two men stopped talking, the service advisor looked at the white lady first and then he looked at me. Then he addressed me! Both of our vehicles went on the rack about the same time but once they were done, the service advisor brought the other lady her keys and told her her vehicle was ready. I know mine should be ready also. I went to see where they were with my car and to it was under the breezeway, ready for me but no one ever came and got me. If I wouldnt have checked on my car, I would probably still be sitting there. So what, if my service was still under warrranty. I still expect excellent service. Another service advisor had my invoice at his counter and hadnt even bothered to pick it up. Im the first to notice when Im being treated unfairly and I will always call it out! This is the very reason I drove 265 miles to buy my vehicle in the first place. I will go to another dealership to have my vehicle serviced and pay them rather than deal with unprofessional service for free, any day. People that dont see color should be working in the service industry. If you cant be fair, you should have a job where youre not interacting with a diverse group of people. Howard was the only person that I encountered today that made me feel welcomed there. To me, courtesy means being polite, courteous, thoughtful, or concerned. This dealership is not living up to its name.
Some of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. However, I dont trust some of the mechanics. I would never encourage my family or friends to shop here because the deal I signed was not in my best interest and that was learned incidentally. The next car I purchase will defnitely come from a salesman and dealership that truly looks for the best overall outcome for the customer, not just a sale.
Calls to my service advisor were not answered and voicemails were left unreturned. My bank finally had to refund me after they would not give me a key fob I paid for.
