Called and asked for a quote to repair an air conditioning unit. Later we received a bill for a $70 service call. No repairs were made and no quote for repairs was ever received. After speaking with them, they insisted the quote was sent (even though it was never received) and charged the $70 service fee. When I called and they went over the quote they were supposed to send, it was much more expensive than what the repair actually cost us. Do not recommend.

Excellent response to my water heater rupture last weekend. They provided me with a detailed explanation of the 2 replacement options I was thinking about. In the end, the less expensive option was the better choice in the long run. They quickly installed the new water heater and hauled away the old one. Very punctual and professional group of people that I will use for future servicing on my home equipment. Thanks again for prompt service

Called them on Sunday at 4:22 pm for an in wall leak. They returned the call on Monday 8:33 amand said their plumber would be out Tuesday at 8:30. They even gave us the plumbers name.Well it is now Tuesday morning and I am looking for a new plumber because they claim they never even called us or even received our first call. We have phone logs to prove different.Poor service and poor administration would not recommend this company.

Called them after I had a 2 inch water line out of the meter break. Called at least 8 plumbers before I gave Rood a call. None of the others were interested in showing up because of the rain. Rood gave me a call back and had someone out in an hour. After working in a trench being rained on for nearly 4 hours they got me running. Being maintenance back ground myself they walked me through the whole process and taught me how to fix it in the future. Both the owner and his journeyman were professional, knowledgeable, and loved the challenge. I will definitely be using them for my plumbing and hopefully hvac jobs in the future.

I called this morning with a heating problem. A few hours later and a 15 minute visit from Rood Heating and Cooling Inc. and our problem was fixed. I have used Rood Heating and Cooling many times and have never had any issues. When our AC went out in the middle of the summer they had it back on in a few hours. Very responsive, zero complaints.

Great service and friendly people. I called sunday about noon for a plumbing issue. Their plumber was off for the day and they dont normally have a plumber on emergency call out. So Eddie Rood came out and helped me get the main water supply to my house fixed. They have also worked on my A/C and were always on time and professional.

Our water heater went out at the worst time! I called Rood heating and cooling because they were the ONLY ones open. They were there with a new water heater and got it fixed promptly! I love their fast and friendly service. Fortunately, I was able to pay for it, but was assured of their great financing they had available. They were willing to work with me!! I wouldnt have even given you a one star but I had to since thats they lowest it would go. Weve actually spoken on Facebook and my heat this whole winter time still has not worked. After you told me you would try to get it fixed. I am just so tired of being lied to by this company that if you can not nor will not do as you say then do not say anything at. NO MY ISSUE STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. SO MY LAST RESORT IS TAKING YOU and YOUR COMPANY TO SMALLS CLAIM COURT!!!

Couldnt light my water heater. They were the only ones who would come out and take a look.The house wasnt lived in for a year so they pointed out the bottom was rusted out on top of the part that lights the pilot was bad.Came out that day and installed a new one and did a great job. Didnt take them very long and had to do way more than a normal install because my house was built in 1930, yet didnt charge for the extra work since they already quoted me a certain price.Will call again if an issue arises.

Service tech came out to diagnose my unit. He starts sniffing the Freon that he is allowing into the air, then tells me I have the wrong Freon in my unit. (Red flag) after that he tried to sell me $7k worth of parts and labor for a new unit. Called a different tech and it ends up being a $100 coil cleaning that is needed. I called the service manager to let them know about their tech and the reason I will not be paying the bill. I was dismissed out of hand and called a liar. All she had to say was sir we dont have techs like that and you need to pay the bill.The owner Eddie Rood called me back and was very helpful in resolving my issue and assured me this is not common practice. Thank you sir!I refuse to pay for services NOT rendered...

We have used Rood Heating and Cooling for over 10 years. They have always provided service when we needed and offered us regular maintenance plans to keep our system ready to go.

When they fix something, its fixed! When they quote a price, they are quoting the price for what we NEEDED not just to give us a low price that ends up costing us more each month on our utility bill. In full disclosure, I do work with them in advertising, but I have also grown to trust 4 generations of expertise.
