Disgusting people. Never in my life will I trust them in my house.
Bought a used unit from him. Said he would do a 1 yr warranty on it. After 2 months unit started freezing up because it was low on freon and could never get a hold of him. When I did get a hold of him he would set a time to come and never show up. I cant get anyone else to come and work on it because no one will work behind him so I have to buy a new unit and have it installed bc no one will work on my previous unit that was installed by them.
Have had probably the worse experience on earth using them. Are home is less and two years old and have had multiple problems and every time they come to “fix it” nothing works. don’t recommend this is why they are rated a one star..
They sell you a new unit thats actually refurbished. I had always suspected it and confirmed this when working with one of their relatives. Good luck getting someone to help fix a down unit, which I might add, was only 6mos old the first time it broke down. Unless its the owner, Lewis or something, who comes out to fix it, the unit will be breaking down until he comes out. Then when the weather changes, the thing will break down again. Thats like the only guarantee.
Our current unit was installed by Robinson heat and air. It is seven years old. In its fourth year, it had a freon leak. We paid out of pocket 100% to Mr. Robinson, I did not know a claim should have been filed. We paid to have it filled up. It broke down again in the same summer with another leak. One more fill up later and it broke down again. We called a new company, Clarksville Heating and Air, and they found several installation mistake that I cannot begin to remember but needless to say, several items were not properly closed, fastened, secured, etc. So, the leaks could have been prevented. Also, that next summer our coil went out from being used so much. He never filed the warranty for our coil so it was going to cost 900.00 to replace the part. Clarksville heating and air somehow found a place that felt sorry for us and let us have another one. Still, 700.00 in labor to fix. We are now having to replace the heating element as it was also used too much during the winter when the freon was leaking. 500.00. So, we are a little over 2000.00 into repairs on a 7 year unit, most of which could have been prevented by proper installment.
These guys dont even deserve a one star. Do not use them.
I purchased a home warranty through Home Warranty of America. Robinson heat and air is the vendor for the warranty company. Mr. Robinson does not answer or return phone calls. He visited my home to add freon to my AC unit. He advised the home warranty did not cover freon, so I would need to pay him out of pocket. I found out later the warranty does in fact cover $10 per pound of freon and Mr. Robinson never filed a claim with them. Most recently, my upstairs AC unit quit working. After a week of calling I finally reached Mr. Robinson. He told me he would make it to my house that afternoon. He never showed up or called. I tried calling him several times and he did not answer. I finally reached him by text. He said hed come by when he finished a job he was on, again he never showed or called. The next day, one of his workers came to my house. They diagnosed my AC with problems with the fan, coil, and compressor. The only claim he sent to HWA was for the compressor. They needed additional information from him regarding pricing. He would not answer or return their calls. I finally got him on the phone and conference called HWA. They needed to call him directly to let him speak with their claims department. He hung up, and would not answer his phone. I spoke with him later and relayed Ive been waiting over 2 weeks for him to get my AC fixed. He told me I needed to find someone else bc he doesnt make a dime off HWA claims. This whole process has been a nightmare. I have found Robinson Heat and Air to be completely unreliable and unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone use this company. To be fair, the HWA hasnt been great either, but Mr. Robinson refusing to take or return calls to keep me informed is unacceptable and inexcusable.
Will rob you blind, use someone else for AC repair.
Ive called him two different time and said he would come by and fix it and he didnt show up and wouldnt answer my calls anymore I wont be calling him again
