Fantastic customer service. YouTube videos got me to their website but speaking with Chelle in Sales helped solidify my choice after she asked me a few questons that I didnt think of. Started off rough after an online order, but once I called they really did a great job tracking down, following up, and closing out our problem. And super friendly on top of top of it.
Items advertised as open box are not open box. The robot arrived with the filter missing and rust on the interior screws and scuff marks all over the exterior of the bot. I expected the scuff marks to a degree. However, this item was clearly used...not open box. This is a scam. Absolutely not what is represented. I have a call into customer service and theyve asked me to take pictures...save your time and money and buy from some where else.After speaking with customer service Im going to return the used pool robot for a full refund. As you can see from the picture the stainless steel screws are rusting...not an open box item, but a used for 40+ hours item. According to the customer service rep: this was just semantics. Clearly misrepresentation from my point of view. I will update once I receive the refund.I did receive the full refund once the robot was returned.
I placed an order for the wrong cleaner over the weekend and quickly asked to cancel the order. I got a call back on Monday and the order was cancelled and my money was refunded. They were professional and responsive. My only concern was there website needs a bit of work. Every time I tried to look at my order, it gave me a Page Not Found error.
Dolphin Premier pool cleanerI did great deal of research for this product and called Poolbots twice before investing $1100.00 into this product with this company. My review is as bad as all the others but honest. I was reassured the Dolphin Premier was the the best option for me.Pros: it is the quietest cleaner ever, it picks up leaves and debris great from the bottom of the pool, has a long enough power cord to travel the entire pool, it looks great.Cons: it doesnt Clean my pool at all, I find myself brushing more than I did with my cheaper pool cleaner. Doesnt clean the rim of the pool like advertised, doesnt do well with pools that have any design factors to them. I have to clean the filters one to two times weekly do to the clean filter indicator (I was looking for less work when I spent this kind of money) My pool is in the open and we only have one 6 foot tall fruit tree in the back yard if that is an indicator of how much debris gets in the pool.When I called the company for a return/refund, The customer service was poor and there was no concern for my investment and the lack of performance they promised with their product. They would not refund or accept my return.My opinion is the Premier Dolphin cleaner might work great if you have a basic square pool or simple oval shaped pool or if you just want it to pick up the leaves off the bottom of the pool. It is not a great options if you have more than 4 walls, or built in benches, or multiple entrances of built in steps, or you want to keep it algae free.I would NOT buy this product againI would NOT use Poolbots for any product purchasesGood Luck with your purchases/experiences.
On the 3rd, I placed an order and, because were in Texas, was supposed to get 1-day delivery. On the 12th, I emailed asking for an update and also submitted an online inquiry. On the 14th, I called their toll-free. After being on hold for 15 minutes, a person picked-up, said, PoolBots, please hold, then put me back on hold. After 30 minutes, they disconnected without ever answering the phone. Meanwhile, the product shows on their webpage right now as In Stock.
I only rated a 1 because zero stars is not possible.My advice to Poolbots: improve your company by not treating your customers like garbage and by not accusing them of fraud when they try to use a credit card with a billing address different from the shipping address. If you choose to investigate a transaction for any reason, please make sure you have a legitimate basis for your decision to not proceed with the sale. Accusing an honest customer of fraud is just blatant disrespect. A customer should not have to jump through hoops to try to make a simple purchase. As I mentioned to Sherry, the representative who requested a copy of my drivers license and credit card to complete the sale, I am looking forward to you forwarding my information to authorities if you feel that my sister and I are committing fraud. In fact, I encourage you to do so if you honestly believe that we are. I await a visit from the police.Word of advice to potential customers: please take your business elsewhere. This company simply does not treat its customers with respect or professionalism. Save yourself the headache because even if you do purchase something from them successfully, from the way they handled my sale transaction, you should be very nervous about having to deal with them if an issue arises with a product that you purchase.
Delivery states fast & free 1-3 days fed exMy order took twice as long and pool bots did not care. They stayed once order is placed it’s out of our hands. So that tells me their delivery statement is just a ploy to get your business.
Purchased an “open box” robotic cleaner. Did not work at all! Did not move. I guess they don’t test open box products before they ship out to customers! Return was easy enough. Would not use company again.
After spending over $4,000 with this company, I ran into an issue with customer service. Ordered a new pool robot and paid an additional $120 for overnight shipping. The order was placed early afternoon. When the item didnt arrive, I reached out to them for a refund of the overnight charge.They refused. Their position is, We did ship it overnight, just not on the day it was ordered! It was a surreal conversation, that defied all logic. Bottom line, this company took money for a service, didnt perform the service, and then kept the money. Bad business.
I was skeptical when I read the other few reviews however I placed my order less than 48 hours ago and have received my entire order in perfect condition. I am extremely pleased with the company and would recommend it Without reservation
We received unit today and it did not work whatsoever. Power supply did turn on but there were no instructions for it. Did not know what 1, 2, and 3 settings meant. I had to take the robot apart and found that electrical connections inside were not in contact as cord was not screwed in completely. Secondly, screws for top cover were missing. Had to purchase stainless screws.Called for service and response was that they are all tested before leaving store, offer to simply ship it back using prepaid label, and suggestion to take a chance with another “open box”, or buy a new one at full cost.DISATISFIED OVERALL
Ordered a product on Wednesday morning, was supposed to ship that day... They issued tracking, was never picked up.... Next day was told it would ship and Id have Friday.... Still no updated tracking and was now told the item is backordered after endless emails and phone calls. Not impressed with their service thus far
Customer service not helpful. We just received our new Aquabot pool cleaner, and followed the manual directions, which apparently were for pools that are cement, not vinyl, like our pool. Evidently our cleaner was not supposed to have brushes. Of course, we were not aware of that. The directions said to remove plastic cover and the brushes would be underneath. We tried removing it, unbeknownst to us, it was not supposed to be removed, and vinyl pools use plastic rollers on the pool cleaner (no brushes). We tried to have the cleaner exchanged and we were denied, because we should have known that our cleaner had no brushes. The manual shows pictures of the cleaners WITHOUT brushes and the box show cleaner WITH brushes. NOT VERY CLEAR DIRECTIONS! Their solution was to order a new one for an additional $1000.00 or order a new roller. Well, I looked to order just the roller, and I can’t find anyone who sells the roller with no brush. We thought Poolbots customer service was there to help. NO HELP AT ALL!!
Terrible customer service. I had to submit a form and wait 2 days to get a status on my order. I was then told it would be back ordered for more than a week. I asked for my order to be cancelled. No response. I escalated the request to cancel my order. No response. I got a message from FedEx that a shipping label had been created. I sent more messages to cancel my order and STILL no response. Now, they have shipped me a product I no longer need or want and are STILL not responding to my messages. No phone number to call on their web site. Do NOT buy from this company.

Very sketchy company I payed with PayPal and they told me they needed me to send a picture of my photo ID to there email before I could make the purchase. I told them no I didnt want to do that. Somehow after I said no they were able to take 970$ out of my account. I talked to PayPal and they told me no company should ask for your ID while using Paypal. I sure Paypal will make sure I get refunded but I would not recommend using this company.
No problem getting a response to my questions BEFORE making a purchase...BUT...once I had a problem after spending $950.00... they were no where to be found!!!Try it for yourself before deciding to buy from them. Call them and choose the customer service option - and if youre like me, youll get an answering machine every time you try. Then call back, choose the sales department, and theyll answer right away (and the sales department wont help you with your customer service issues).Email customer service response takes days for a response, and they havent responded to my several requests in weeks!They sell quality poolbots, but if youre in need of customer service, or want to take advantage of their 30-day return policy like I have been trying to do... good luck with that. (I finally had to resort to calling AMEX to file a dispute.)
Nightmare. Bought a refurbished cleaner for $1000. Ive always had great luck with refurbished items....I like that they get a personal look-over right before I get them. This one was DEAD ON ARRIVAL. A little suspect, but I thought, things happen. The first cleaner came fedx 2-DAYair. They wanted to send the replacement ground. We were due to go out of town and the pool needed to be cleaned. They agreed to send it fedX-2 day also, but then didnt send it at all. We didnt go out of town because it was due to arrive on friday. When it didnt....we knew we couldnt leave and have it come next day and sit on the porch for days. Of the gazillion timed I called..the only person who would speak with me Robert. He is in service...so that was good. Anyway...I was to call customer service. I did talk with a few people and the manager was suppose to call me back. He never did. I left several voice mails for him. No resposnse. Finally I just requested a refund. Fortunately that went ok. Dont buy from them. If a company wont take a phone call, you know that its all down hill from there.HOW DO THEY HAVE A THREE STAR RATING WITH ALL REVIEW EXCEPT ONE IS HORRIBLE?
Bought the remote to go with my Dolphin at the suggestion that if I bought it later it would cost an extra $50….they forgot to mention that it doesn’t work with the bot I bought! Bought in April before opening my pool so didn’t try to return it until June…..too late to return! Basically told me to go away.
Bottom line do not purchase from this company.
