Great experience! Beautiful and clean salon. We scheduled an appt online, walked in and were immediately taken to a chair. My son has curly biracial hair, and he chose a picture of the cut he wanted. It was no easy task, and she did an amazing job! We will definitely be back.

We are big fans of Gambuzza’s. My teenage sons love the VIP treatment and great cuts they get here. The atmosphere is so fun with video games and a table shuffleboard and free root beer! Each stylist has done a fantastic job doing a high top fade for my older son and both boys enjoy the warm towel treatments. The employees are so friendly and were especially helpful when I left my teenager with cash only (*important note- this is a cashless location! Only credit cards or phone pay allowed!).

My haircut was excellent, as was my sons. Both of the women who cut our hair were friendly and capable of dealing with my slightly hyper, 8 y.o. son. I had never been to Gambuzzas before and I was very happily surprised. Pricing was reasonable and the service and quality of the haircut were excellent! Will be returning!

The pricing for being an “upscale” Supercuts is pretty steep for the quality and cleanliness of the cuts. You can tell that the barbers and beauticians are fairly new to cutting hair. Very proud of the pricing for the quality of cut. I originally filled out the questionnaire which was a 1-10 scale which was completely manipulated into a five star review. I do not feel that way about the services rendered. The atmosphere is nice, the people are super friendly… Most the time that I’ve been there, there has been a sewage problem and it smelled like straight up diarrhea, but my review of the actual cut I feel is extremely accurate as far as cost and quality goes for a cut from a shop that’s backed by a national chain that supplies about the same cut for $11.00

Despite arriving five minutes prior to my appointment, one of the ladies said that I was late. I showed her on my phone that I was on time but she said that the time wasnt confirmed (it was confirmed as shown in the photo). I understand that tech can be an issue, but the problem is that she didnt even bother asking whether Id like to reschedule. I guess she was angry. I wouldve understood a late notice via phone or email but I received nothing. Worst barber shop experience that Ive had. Throwing away the free haircut slip that I received a week ago. Yes, no doubt experiences like this are few and far in between. Oh well. Venting session over

Their customer service is top notch. I scheduled an appointment online but for some reason it didnt register on their end. When I got to the shop, they said they didnt have a record of my appointment even though they had me in their system. They said they had an opening an hour later, and offered to comp my visit! The haircut was amazing. My wife said the barber edged my hair the best she has ever seen!

Never rated a hair place before now. I’m compelled. They did a super incredible job. It can take forever trying to find someone to do your hair the way you actually want it done.These folks are pros! They were super easy to and make you feel totally at ease.The beard work is what impressed me most. When looking for a new barbershop, I went strictly based on reviews in selecting Gambuzza‘s. I made my appointment online and their scheduling interface was very straightforward. During my ~40 minutes in the barbershop, I was very impressed by the promptness, professionalism, and high-quality service provided by Jacob and the rest of the staff. I immediately felt like I had been going there for years. I don’t think that I’ve ever had a better haircut experience.

I’m pretty picky about where I get my hair cut, but since my normal barber left town, it was time to find someone new. Jodie absolutely earned my business today. She is now only the second person I’ve ever allowed to trim my beard in my life. And she is the first to do it well. The shop was well decorated, great music, safe and sanitary precautionary measures in full effect. I highly recommend Jodie, and it seemed like the rest of the team there today would be equally amazing.

Recently moved here and was looking for a new place to get a good consistent cut. I was able to get in for an appointment right away and was paired up with Lucia. I always get a high zero fade and she did a fantastic job. Will definitely be going back and will recommend to everyone I know thats looking!

Great COVID precautions, welcoming atmosphere, and probably the most meticulous haircut with real attention to detail I’ve ever received. (And this was after 11months of hair growth during COVID, going back to my much preferred, and much more flattering, rather short hairstyle.)

After my sons first botched haircut elsewhere, oh this place came in to save the day. Not only was the haircut great but the full experience. Clean place and the people are friendly. They even gave him the old school massage treatment with the machine. His 5 year old self felt like a man lol, he loved it.

We love Gambuzza’s Barbershop! The staff is so friendly and helpful and my three boys are always thrilled with their stylish haircuts. The cuts are very professional and meticulous. My boys also love the table top arcade machine, the table shuffleboard and the free root beer. We are big fans and Amy, the store manager, is always cheerful, great with kids and courteous. She goes above and beyond to make sure the customers are happy.

Booked appointment online. Got there on time and was told it would be 10 more min. Sat there for 40 more min while a half dozen other clients were served. I don’t think any of the barbers want to cut an 11 year old’s hair. Nothing was ever said to us beyond the initia getting. Gave up and left when a guy who came in after us left before us.

My son went here for a haircut and has extremely curly hair. Its hard to find someone who understands how to cut his hair because of the curl but also the way he desires at the same time. SHANIA cut his hair today and it looks amazing. He was so happy with the results and he cant stop touching it lol. I am really happy with the results as well! Went in for a cut, Randi really took care of me. She cuts a clean fade. The shop feels more like a salon than a barbershop but still a good experience.

Classy well planned haircut experience . For context, I usually get cheaper haircuts and every now and then treat myself to a nicer experience. Ive tried maybe 4 or 5 nicer style places around Austin and I this one is my favorite. Here is why:- The staff seemed to like each other and be happy to be there.- My stylist did a great job caring about my experience, not following a process or completing a task.- The entire process in general seems well thought out and designed.- Classy staff & environment. Most places have a good environment, but I think Gambuzzas really nailed it.

Well presented location, fair price for value, courteous service, social entertainment while you wait, a heck of a new-customer promotion, and tons of potential.Found them through a Facebook promotion for their grand opening offering a free service for new customers and they did not disappoint. My barber Jacob did a phenomenal job working with my request of style and the extra care with the hot towel, shoulder massage machine, and clean up rinse was excellence expressed above and beyond.The ambience was designed to be relaxing and quaintly social with drinks and a clever mini-shuffle board available while you wait. The service is efficiently streamlined with online booking and digital check-in which I definitely recommend using before you show up because it can get quite busy for walk-ins.The full experience is their standard so there’s not too many prices or offers getting thrown at you for additional services. But there are a few that may be worth consideration like beard trims and such.All in all, repeat service is definitely warranted for this exemplary establishment. Just remember, this is a place to make good time for. Trust me.Room for improvement: Since appointments are allotted for half-hour, time can get tight doing two rinses. Barbers should take the most time on the cut to ensure timely but comfortable turnover between appointments (my appointment was 15 min late). Because barbers should Never feel rushed and the first impression of a barber comes from his timeliness. So if most men’s standards for a haircut is just to get a good cut (which it is); then the massage, hot towel (perhaps post-cut), and the rinse post-cut are more than enough for the customer to feel that extra care and elevated standard. No need for two rinses. Save much needed water instead.

Upon inquiring for a haircut and a shave, I was informed that I could not be accommodated for another hour and a half even though I saw several empty chairs with stylists occupying their booths who looked ready to cut. I’m assuming this establishment does not take walk-ins, which is a bit of a let down because the layout inside is very nice and tasteful. Normally, this is something I am able to overlook but I thought it was rather unprofessional to make a customer wait an excessive amount of time when there was plenty of room for accommodation. Within that hour and a half time frame, I was able to get a haircut at another establishment and take my family out to lunch. My overall experience was a bit of a let down because I would have certainly tried a few services here and purchased some styling products.

Really nice set up, I had Jessica hook up my cut, she was great. I was very pleased with her blending ability. Cant remember the gentlemans name who helped her with my razor cut hard part, but appreciated that as well.

Well the worst barbershop I have ever been into. I had my son schedule at 4 pm and reached there at 4:07 pm and the staff said they have 5 mins late policy and we have to reschedule the appointment . I told them last time My husband was there he has to wait for 30 mins before his turn came. He said he dont know anything about it and cant help and we have to reschedule the appointment. With this kind of service they are not going anywhere. Just offering people beverages will not help you. Not going again for sure 100% and will even tell my friends not to go there.

Meant to do this yesterday, but got really busy with work.Here we go.......Firstly the staff, and the whole inside of the shop is amazing!!! Upon being checked in, they offer a complimentary root beer in a chilled mug. Could not pass that up! After I saw there was a arcade table and shuffle board to play while you wait. Hopped on some galaga, and played a few rounds. Thats only the waiting area.I had got Jessica as my barber, and she made everything awesome. Im not going to spoil to much for you in the review. Because youll have to check it out yourself. Jessica was very professional, and a great conversation. I would recommend her to you guys.I will say though. Everyone there was very accommodating, Kristin the receptionist. Anthony one of the other barbers, and the manager who helped me in the end.
