Recently had an appointment with Rachel who has been cutting my hair for the last year or 2. She does excellent work on mens hair. Personally Ive always had a hard time getting decent haircuts due to cowlicks and unruly hair. But ever since finding Rachel my hair has been looking great. She is very friendly, hardworking and extremely professional. She is very skilled a cutting hair without clippers using only scissors for a more custom look. But can also use clippers for people who prefer them. For anyone needing a great hair cut make an appointment at Clean Cuts Barbershop with Rachel. Was in Austin visiting from Phoenix, AZ and needed a quick haircut. I went in and felt very welcomed and comfortable. The barber listened to what I wanted and I got a good haircut. It is not the cheapest place, but with quality comes the price and the price is very modest. The money you spend is well worth it. Just to name a price. I believe a cut is 17 bucks which is not bad when you get a great haircut and its actually what you wanted.

I have been going to Q now for about 2 years off of the recommendation of a friend and because he was very close to my office. Q is a great barber. He is extremely professional, takes and honors reservations!, really takes his time to understand what kind of cut you want and gets it right, and goes the extra mile with customer service. Q moved the shop out to RR, and I followed because a good professional barber is hard to find. You cannot go wrong here.

Called and they were able to squeeze me in. This is by far the best haircut Ive gotten in years! Better than sports clips. The customer service on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best, I give them a 10+.

Best Barbershop In The Area. Fresh Cuts

First of all I would like to thank the ridiculous 1-star rant for pointing me in the direction of Clean Cuts Barbershop. Let me point out that the guy ranting went to the same establishment numerous times according to his post and NOT ONCE complained about his hair cut. His complaint is against the atmosphere not the quality of production.That being said---IT IS A BARBERSHOP and not a hair salon. Men go there to let loose and unwind. Talk amongst themselves unfiltered. MAYBE you have never been to a legit barbershop. Maybe you just go to stylists who just came from a hair academy? These guys are REAL and damn good barbers.Personally I enjoyed my time at Clean Cuts Barbershop. Its a local spot you can go and say whats on your mind. Like cutting it up with friends. Kenny and Q were more than professional, but I can tell you this isnt where you sit in suits and sip on Mai Tai cocktails while you discuss stocks options. Got a solid cut for a reasonable price and was able to be myself and had a good time amongst a laid back group of professionals. Not your typical Country Club crowd, but who the hell wants that when they go to a barbershop??? lmaoCheers and definitely check out CCB, solid barbers.Paul

Every barber in this shop has a bad attitude!! I found one that was pretty nice but not very good! After the owner was so disrespectful to my 5 year old son I will not recommend or return to this shop!!!

I have been to this establishment and have been disgusted with their business practices before but today took the cake (3/28/17). This review is specific to one person, however; it is a reflection of the establishment as a whole. Clean Cut Barbershop is not your everyday family-friendly, run of the mill, neighborhood barbershop. This is the place you visit when customer service and human deceny are no longer factors for you. If you can take inappropriate sexist conversation, homophobic slurs, or racially and culturally insensitive dialogue; then make an appointment and have a seat. The one barber in particular, who is apparently the owner, appears to have NO respect for anyone and least of all himself. Not only does he lack professionalism, he also lacks the capacity to empathize with someone after he may have offended them. Not to mention, hes also a male chauvinist who has no idea the impact that he could actually have on the local community from where he is sitting. Considering the fact that hair has historically been a topic of contention in the black community, and people of color are less than one percent of the population in Austin and Travis County, and knowing that half the battle for people of color in this town is finding a good barber you can trust not to jack up your hairline; youd think hed want to tap into that and give them a place of refuge. Instead, he ostracizes the clientale by barking at the children and belittling the women with sexist and inappropriate comments. Or he alienates anyone from any background whose native language is not English. I have spoken with this man on more than one occasion, hoping that my conversation with him would help him understand how offensive he is because as a person of color, I want to see another person of color succeed. How silly and naive of me? Wrong is wrong and I will no longer support a business that partakes in blatant disrespect and disregard for minorities in any capacity, but especially as it relates to women and children, and immigrants. Please do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.

Bad phone service and attitude, I will take my money else where!!

Terrible place, treated me and 5 year old brother with no respect. I asked them to use scissors and one barber replied naw I dont have time. And after my brother flushed some paper towels down the toilet, the barber demanded he take them out of the toilet and put them in the trash.
