After experiencing the joy of having another vehicle hit mine in a parking lot, I finally had my vehicle fully repaired (fully paid for by the other driver’s insurance – which was nice). Then I contacted Diminished Value of Georgia for an appraisal and 2nd pair of eyes on the repair work. They put my vehicle up on a rack to fully inspect it.With a completed electronic report from my appraisal, I called the insurance company asking for contact info to process my diminished value claim. She was very polite, but gave me their general email address to submit my paperwork. I did send my forms to that email address. A couple days later, I got a check in the mail from the insurance company for $225 ! My appraisal detailed my diminished value at $3400 + $540 for loss of use. $3940 total.$3940 vs $225.Quite a difference, huh!?Yesterday, I had a phone conversation with a person at the insurance company about my claim. We ended up settling at $2200 for my diminished value claim. Look at the amount the insurance company originally tried to buy me off with. Then after spending $200 for this appraisal, I ended up positive by $2000 ! Not bad.And I got a good confirmation that my vehicle was repaired properly. If you have been in an accident, and feel you’re owed money for diminished value, spend a little bit of time with the folks at Diminished Value of Georgia. The ammunition they’ll give you will more than pay for your appraisal cost, and will certainly put more $$$ into YOUR pocket :)
This company went above and beyond! Their appraisal was very professionally written, far superior to what the insurance company presented. These guys backed their work and were extremely supportive in steering me in the right direction for what I needed to do next. It is the first time for me to collect diminished value from an insurance company and Progressive did not make it easy sailing so thank you guys for all you did!
I unfortunately had to use their services twice recently. Their guidance was professional and quite helpful. I think they could elevate their service by providing accessibility via phone. My contact only dealt with me by email. All in all I would recommend them.
Thank you so much for helping with my claim on the minivan. Aaron was wonderful, I am very happy. Laurine.
On new years eve I was rear ended by a drunk driver, the police arrested him, my car was severely damaged and my lawyer sent me to DV Georgia for assistance. These guys were great, they not only helped with reviewing the repair bill but also assisted me in collecting my depreciated value. I just brought the car to their office in Roswell and they inspected the car for repair discrepancies. Just fantastic. Thank you so much,
Wonderful. Could not be more happy with the results. These guys know whats up and the ins and outs of a claim. A+
I want to say thank you to Aaron and the team of Diminished Value of Georgia! This is the second time I used them. This time I was able to get 4 times more than the insurance company original offered. This is definitely the service that you need to have when come to negotiate diminished value with any insurance company, otherwise they will just low ball you.Get justice for yourself. And I also want to mention that Aaron was very responsive every time I text/call him, thank you Aaron
I am very pleased with the service provided by Diminished Value of GA. Ive already recommended them to my friends. I was given a discount on two assessments and Aaron walked me through the whole process on how to submit to my insurance company. It was totally worth it for the return received after I settled with my insurance company on diminished value. Thank you so much!
Glad I chose these guys. Process was extremely easy and the results they obtained were in line with my expectations. Highly recommend!
I have nothing but the highest compliments to the team at Diminished Value of Georgia, and especially to Kevin. My initial DV proposal from my insurance company was for $200 (Max $500) and after a small time investment and thorough documentation, I was able to get a proper valuation and insurance came to an agreement to pay the increased amount.
Tony has helped me with total loss and diminished value appraisals. I received fair and reasonable settlements with his appraisals and phone/email support. I recommend him.
Came here to get my car inspected after the shop repaired it, these guys found that the bumper was missing a grille that the shop forgot to install. In glad I didnt go to the guy the shop recommended. Thanks a bunch.
What I know of this business is the online appraisal arm and they did a fantastic job for me. They turned around an appraisal online in no time and did a thorough and fair job. I will use the accurate appraisal to get a nice tax write-off for a donated vehicle. Thank you friends.
Complete and utter waste of time and money. Grossly overestimated the diminished value of my vehicle to persuade me into purchasing their service. Their “report” can’t take them longer than 10 minutes to create and insurance companies scoff at it. No one bothered to assist me with a follow up and left all my questions unanswered. Do yourself a favor and just get a quote from Carmax and learn how to write a demand letter to send to your insurance - it will hold the same weight. Wish I could get a refund. In response to your reply: I do have an appraisal with you but am in no way interested in revealing the name it is filed under as at this point I’m unconvinced you can do anything to provide a valuable service further. But well done on replying to something in a reasonable amount of time!
So I wrecked my Toyota while it was raining and hit the guardrail on the highway. The car took 4 weeks to fix and the repair cost was more than ten thousand. After I picked up the car, my Insurance company sent me a check for $120 and it said loss in value property, I had no idea what that was so I did some online research and found Diminished Value of Georgia. I was scared at first because of the money I had to pay them and all of that...but i put the $175 on a credit card and they took it over. They called me a week later asking for another $125 as they needed to issue a settlement letter, I agreed and received $3,700 from my insurance! BOOM. Thank you so much. Gale.
My Toyota Sienna was hit by a semi-truck on the highway, couldnt drive it and the police had it towed to a junkyard right off the exit. The trucking insurance company was a nightmare to work with so I decided to deal with my insurance instead. They should have totaled the car but didnt and decided to spend almost 10 grand fixing it and then said that I had no lost value because the van had 102 thousand miles. My attorney referred me to DVGA who put together a report and sent it to Travelers who then offered me 1400 dollars. I am so happy with this result. Many thanks to Ralph and Jessica for their good service.
I just wanted to say how happy I am with the great service and outstanding results I received from Diminished Value of Georgia. Thanks yall.
I was involved in an accident in November 2019 and I wasn’t at fault. I received a ridiculous check for diminished value so I ordered an appraisal from DVG. They assured me that I’m in good hands and for the money I’m paying they will help me respond if we need to continue to negotiate. The insurance company paid a little bit more but not even close to what the DVG report suggested. I need to respond to them and have been trying to get the appraiser to help me since January 1st!!! I sent at least 3 emails with the written response from the insurance carrier as they require, I left at least 3 voice messages and nothing! The only thing I received was a brief email from their customer service manager Kevin, saying that he will get the appraiser to respond. That was some 5 days ago. This is terrible customer service and I’m running out of reasonable time to respond. Of course they responded within the same day when I had to pay the $175 fee. Not only I would not recommend them but I will share this review with the network where they were recommended.
Very happy with the results. It took a little longer to settle because the adjuster was on vacation, but all was great at the end. Thanks Diminished Value Georgia.
If you feel that your insurance company did not give fare price for your totaled car, do use this service. Tony was professional and helpful. We paid 400 for appraisal and settlement and it changed insurance company payout for 1300 in our favor. So, better bottom line plus moral satisfaction.
So I was just about to pay them but I said, let me check the reviews. Sooooooo glad I checked. I am about to head to car max to get an appraisal done. Almost fell for the scam. Now that I think about it, how can you do an appraisal without ever looking at the car.......
BEWARE! Appraisal Engine Inc. is biased toward the Insurance companies for whom they are hired. Appraisal Engine Inc. was hired by my insurance as a supposedly independent appraiser after I had submitted my appraiser’s report for diminished value and my insurance would not agree to the amount. Appraisal Engine Inc. and my appraiser were supposed to negotiate in good faith and come to a settlement, however Appraisal Engine Inc. provided their diminished value completely undocumented. Appraisal Engine Inc. also presented their value without negotiation of any sort let alone in good faith. I was told by my appraiser that Appraisal Engine Inc. claimed no prior knowledge of the amount my insurance determined for diminished value but they came up with approximately half the amount my insurance had offered and that offer was less than half of the amount my appraiser determined. Now I am faced with having to let an umpire decide the final value and I do not trust Appraisal Engine Inc. to agree to a neutral umpire from a list of 11 umpires supplied.
The process of dealing with my insurance company was very foreign and uncomfortable. Aaron was very helpful, understanding and patient. I recommend anyone needing an advocate for fair market value on a vehicle to contact him.
Will not be doing business with them anymore. They failed to contact me to keep me updated after my insurance company sent their own Appraser. Very limited communication with very little reply when I tried contacting them. I had to call my insurance agent 2 months later just to find out that they dropped me as a client because there isn’t enough money for them on any settlement from the insurance company regarding the Dimished value on my vehicle. Severely disappointed for I have done business with them in the past and they are usually very professional courteous. Unfortunately this will be my last time and I will not be referring any customers.
A month ago my 2017 Toyota Avalon was rear-ended. When their insurance company sent me a check for $103.47, I hired Diminished Value of Georgia. They were able to help me collect an additional $1600. Great service.
My wife’s Yukon was in an accident this past July that was unfortunately her fault. I consider myself a pretty well versed guy when it comes to legal matters but I didn’t know how it worked filling with our carrier. When State Farm only offered $317 with over $5,000 in damage, I knew something was not right. I gave these guys a call and they walked me through the whole process that was specific to my policy. We ended up collecting a little over $2800 in diminished value. Would definitely recommend.
Outstanding Service and Value!Diminished Value was able to get me 3x what the insurance company initially offered. Very simple process, rapid turn-around, quality report produced and great communication. Highly recommended.
What a waste of time and money. Do not use for car accident appraisals, better off just handling it yourself or going to the dealership. Super petty and does not stick to their word.
I had an awesome experience with my Diminished Value. I was given quite a bit of push back from my insurance company and offered $300 with no other suggested options. They appraised my vehicle at $1700 of diminished value and were able to settle with my insurance at $1250. A big difference from $300. Thumbs up
FANTASTIC! I was hit and knew nothing about diminished value of my vehicle until my insurance company sent me a check for $93.41. I did my research and contacted Diminished Value for a free estimate and found that I was owed way more! They helped me take the next steps and I submitted my paperwork as detailed in my instructions that they sent me and low and behold within 3 days my insurance company called back stating they were issuing me a check for $735 ($15 less than Diminished Value had appraised). Im so thankful I did my research and contacted someone regarding this. McKenzie and her team were so helpful! Highly recommend!!
No matter what the insurance company offers you get your own appraisal from this company. They are very professional and easy to use! I had two accidents in a 3 month period and both insurance companies gave me a very low diminished value. After sending them the appraisal from this company I received exactly what they said I deserved which was double from both insurance companies. I am very happy right now lol.
The Diminished Value of Georgia was professional, personable and insightful in settling my diminished value claim with my insurance carrier. I highly recommend DV of GA. My insurance company initially offered $500, which I thought was incredibly low. I decided to hire a third party appraiser. I went with Diminished Value of Georgia because they came highly recommended. They were able to settle the claim for me at $2,732. As you can see is a significant difference. Be smart and get in contact with Diminished Value of Georgia!
This company is awesome! Tony worked hard and got me almost double what the insurance company was going to offer. I would highly recommend using them if you need your vehicle appraised.
My insurance company told me that the damage to my car was too small to get a diminished value payout. I asked several times and they were insistent. My friend recommended Tony, and after negotiations and an independent appraisal, I was awarded $1,250.Always seek diminished value when the other party is at fault. I thought I could trust my insurance company to be forthright and fair in this case (they were representing me and the party at fault would ultimately have to pay damages). I truly needed Tonys help and would not have received anything for diminished value without his assistance.
I recently had an accident where my insurance offered me a settlement once they decided to total my car. I had bought the car not 4 months before the accident for a much lower value than it was worth. So when I signed up for my loan the bank said it was worth more than $4K higher than I paid. When the insurance offered me the settlement it was very clear they lowballed me on the figures. They only wanted to pay me $500 more than I paid. I knew it was not diminished by that much. The process for this appraisal was easy and fair. The initial $50 was paid to determine if it was wroth moving forward. The initial report came back almost $1000 higher than my offer. Then the final appraisal was almost $1200 more. I have now been offered a new settlement more than $1000 higher! Thank you for the great work and looking out for consumers who are being cheated every single day!
Total scam, Kevin took my money and haven’t heard from this company since January. Nobody will return my phone calls or emails....consumer beware!!!!
Diminished Value of Georgia is a very easy company to work with. My insurance company attempted to settled my diminished value on a 2016 vehicle with less than 9,000 miles for $550. DVG was able to get me a settlement of $1,800 in less than a month. Very professional and they respond quickly. Impressive Customer Service!!!
They were definitely helpful and response. But depending on your case (mine was a minor rear end, no major damage was done and the other persons insurance company fixed everything) their documentation may not be helpful. You might have to go to court eventually which makes paying for their services not very valuable.
Used them for appraisal of a totalled minivan, which the insurance company claimed to be over $2000 less than this companys appraisal. Insurance company went to right of appeal (where they hire an independent appraiser), value only went down slightly. (Less than it would probably cost me to appeal to the next step.) Only complaint is that communication with the other appraiser cost a little more ($25) than the website said, but I cant complain, because they recovered MUCH more for me than I spent on them.I cant say that Id be happy to do business with them again (since Id have to have an accident in order to do that), but if I need these services again, Ill be coming back.
What can I say about Tony and Diminished value of GA ? Rock Stars !!My X5 BMW got hit by negligent driver in a routine traffic accident and insurance company was not willing to fix the car and claim a total loss. I wanted to make sure that I need a knowledgeable, dependent and fierce partner on my side to navigate the settlement process.I got Tony & company info with high recommendation from my work colleague and he didnt disappoint not a single bit. He explained to me the process, clear instruction of dos/ dont, expenses associated with his services and what it takes to get me over the finish line. I trusted him and passed on the baton and he took care of everything in a week time with the settlement over 3,000.00 from what the insurance company offered originally.I am grateful for the outcome and no complaints what so ever!!
These guys pulled through and made the process pretty easy. Would definitely recommend!
My Infiniti G35 was damaged in the front, the insurance company wanted to repair it. I was not happy with the estimate they wrote, seemed very low and not enough to fix it right. Hired DimVal of Georgia and they inspected the car at their shop and their estimate was twice as much. They gave me a total loss appraisal and my car was paid for in full. Super happy, super thankful. Thanks yall. Jessie.
My Toyota RAV4 was hit in the rear end by a distracted teenager not following the Georgia no texting and driving law. Her parents insurance wrote me a check to fix my car, which wasnt enough to cover the bill, they also did not pay for my lost resale value or give me a rental. I hired a lawyer and they took care of all of that. My lawyer hired the Diminished Value Georgia folks and they did a great job and I received around $2,100 in cash and my car was fixed right. Thanks a bunch.
I highly recommend DV of Georgia if your insurance or the other persons insurance does not want to pay the right amount of diminished value for your vehicle. Tony and his staff were very professional and worked really hard to get me the right amount of value. I highly recommend them.
Diminished Value delivered everything that was promised!! They kept me informed every step of the way and made the process much less stressful than it would have been otherwise. My insurance company offered me $88.00 and Diminished Value got me a settlement of $1750.00. It was worth every penny I paid Diminished Value just on the principle of making the insurance company to do the right thing.
Great company! Nationwide only wanted to give my son $98 for his diminished value, ended up with $644 after submitting the packet that the DV of GA put together for us.Highly recommend you to use them if the insurance company does not wont to treat you fairly.JENNIFER WRIGHT
We hired Diminished Value of Georgia after receiving low ball offers from our insurance company for the Diminished Value of a few of our vehicles. Mr. Rached and his team are very knowledgeable and have always been very professional and responsive throughout the entire process. I HIGHLY recommend Diminished Value of Georgia as the company to assist you in obtaining the right amount for Diminished Value for your vehicle after an accident.
Appraisal Engine Inc. is biased toward the Insurance companies for whom they are hired. Appraisal Engine Inc. was hired by my insurance ALLSTATE as a supposedly independent appraiser after I had submitted my appraiser’s report for diminished value and my insurance would not agree to the amount. Appraisal Engine Inc. and my appraiser were supposed to negotiate in good faith and come to a settlement, however no one will release their assessment as to how they came up with their value of my vehicle. I have a 2017 Chevrolet Silverardo LTZ package with 17918 miles at time of accident. this truck is in perfect condition until I hit a pole causing $9237.63 in damages. If we were to take our truck to trade we would take approx. $10,000 hit in DV. There was firewall damage involving 10 hours in repair, maybe OE procedures should be considered when repairing the firewall panel, as that is considered structural damage. All that we are asking for is good faith negotiations and a fair settlement.
I deleted my prior review. Mother nature hit lines. They left business office early due to no power or phone. Understandable.**Edit**My mom sent me a link dated back a few years ago. Tony was in the article. He was on WSBTV. I searched links and reivews-- I made my decision to bring business there. His front desk receptionist is a DOLL. Super helpful and knowledgeable.I met with Tony today.Poor guy seen me at my WORST; complete despair. He helped me get through it. Its mentally draining to know our cars loose so much value to be given a 1/3 of the money(my situation). But, he didnt make the laws. He just helps us get through it and get what we can following all the rules.. (: At a very fair price!!They will even go to court with you (if its called for) to be there to support evidence. I havent been around such hospitality and kindest in a while. Thank you for all your hard work!
I had an incident where I was rear ended in my brand new car and my insurance company was offering me an amount which I felt was low, given the condition of my car. I approached Tony at DVGA and he got me almost double of what my insurance company was offering me. He provided me with the correct paperwork to build my case with my insurance company. Within 10 days, my insurance company paid me my correct diminished value. Thank you Tony and DVGA!
Armed with your appraisal, I settled with insurer without further discussion. Great.
Tony was awesome and I would not have gotten any more than $ 475 for my brand new Lexus if not for DVGA!! The insurance company ( Nationwide) was like take it or leave it!! but DVGA entered their formula and argued back and forth with the insurance company for ME!!! Cannot say enough good things about them and worth every PENNY!!! thanks again, Rachael from Savannah!
They are the top of the line, they provided leverage on how to take on Geico head on and again thank you for your kind services- Jody
Really great service. With their help I got 4 times the amount state farm offered me for diminished value. The insurance companies are very deceitful in their calculation of diminished value. If you live in GA and get into a car accident, ask DV of GA for a free estimate to see if youre being low balled.
I am thankful that i was referred to this wonderful company. I am Acrive Duty and had been with USAA for over 17 years. When my brand new Mustang was hit and they did 24K in repairs they refused to give me a fair settlement on diminished valie and i am an atrorney and rhey still would not negotiate. I found diminished value of Georgia and i had an apprasial within 24 hours. USAA still would not sertle for a reasonable anount. I asked for Diminished Value of Georgia to negotiate a settlement for me. And within days they were able to get close to the appraised diminished value. It is sad inaurance companies wont do the right thing. However, this is a very reasonably priced service and you should never settle with am insurance company without getting thia company to do an apprasial for you! Great job guys. I appreciate the help
Im an international student and new to the US, not very familiares with the rules, but a person bumped my rear of my car when the light was red and I was not moving. The damage looked benign in the beginning but the car was driving very funky. The insurance for the andere person called me and made me offert for $700. I talked to my teacher and she recommended me to Ralph at Georgia Diminish Value. I originally was going to take the $700 and not fix the car, but after i took it to Ralph he looked unter the auto and founds the structure bent. I fixed the auto at the shoppe the insuranse informed me of and the final money cost was $4,100. Also, I collected $1,850 in lost value with the assistance of Ralphs Report which showed $2,159. I am very thankful to my teacher and to Diminishe Values of Georgia and especially Mr. Ralph. Thank you.
DV of Georgia is extremely customer caring and very professional! I was offered
I reached out to Diminished Value of Georgia after GEICO gave me a low estimate of the diminished value on my brand new van. The cost, turnaround time, and communication with Vivian was excellent. In the end, GEICO settled for the exact amount that Diminished Value of Georgia recommended which put an extra $1K in my pocket.
Very professionalCompany!! $2300.00 worth of auto repairs after being hit in the rear. The other driver was ticketed and her insurance claimed fault. After the repairs were over I requested diminished value/DV from her insurance company to compensate for the future loss I would be hit with when trading/selling the truck due to CarFax showing the truck had been involved in an accident. The insurance company told me there was ZERO DV so I would receive no compensation. I disagreed and argued with them that there had to be DV. A few days later they called back and said theyd give me $200 as a good will gesture but there was no DV. The insurance lady was VERY UGLY to me which drove me to look into getting a DV auto appraisal. WELL WORTH THE MONEY!! After I sent the insurance company the report and the demand letter provided by DV of GA, the insurance company contacted me and offered me $500. I wouldnt agree and sent a different demand letter provided by DV of GA. Then the insurance company offered me $850. I declined their offer and asked for $950. They came back and said their offer stood at $850. I wrote them back and told them we could meet half way at $900 and they agreed. The total appraisal amount of DV was $1009.00 on my vehicle so I feel like I did well to get $900.00. TAKE YOUR TIME, BE PATIENT, DONT GIVE UP WHEN DEALING WITH INSURANCE COMPANIES, BE PERSISTENT, and CALL DV of GA to get your appraisal!!!Zero to $900....gotta love that!! :-)
DVof GA was perfect. i would recommend using every time
I would definitely recommend DVGA to anyone who is dealing with an insurance company who does not want to pay a fair price for diminished value. The process was simple, people were awesome to deal with and for $100 I couldnt have asked for a better result. Dont try to deal with insurance company on your own ......... call DVGA and get what you deserve! Thanks DVGA!!!!!!
I have a 2013 vehicle with current value of about $18,000. I was in a wreck that caused over $13,000 worth in damages. DV of GA was hired by GEICO to combat the value my independent appraiser had asked for, they then came up with $2000, less than 50% of what my appraiser came up with after inspecting my vehicle. Keep in mind there was NO ONE from this company that has come out to do a “multi-point inspection” to decide this low-ball amount. It doesn’t take appraiser to know that is a ridiculous and unethical, how can you value something you’ve never even taken a look at? The only information they looked at was what GEICO wants to pay out.
Mr. Tony Rached and his staff worked diligently to assist me in my diminished value settlement claim. GEICO offered $420 for my 2012 Subaru Impreza Hatchbacks diminished value- I was involved in a rear-end accident by no fault of my own. Tony was able to document a case of value loss on my vehicle for a claim amount of over $2000. GEICO accepted our request and I am very happy customer. I will definitely make referrals to my friends and family if they are ever in need of a diminished value expert.
I would recommend DVGA to anyone who has a diminished value claim. Tina Geiger and Tony Rached both were extremely helpful, overly patient, and very professional in handling my claim. Before I found DVGA, I was given the run-around with 2 other attorneys that took months of unreturned phone calls and passing my case around. Then, they wanted a ridiculous $275 to file and couldnt guarantee that I would receive as little as 3 times that amount. DVGA required a $150 flat fee for a desk appraisal and I received over 10 times that amount back within just a couple of weeks, thanks to Tony. Very smooth and simple process. These guys are the best. 110% satisfied customer here.
Great experience. I got the money I was entitled to!
I recently hired Diminished Value of Georgia to handle a claim for me. I was staying at a hotel in Atlanta and the Valet attendant opened my car door into oncoming traffic and it was hit by another vehicle and so my journey with the Parking company to get my vehicle fixed began.I was given a hard time by the Insurance person for the Valet Company when I asked about receiving Diminished Value for my vehicle. I hired Diminished Value of Georgia and they were very professional and even turned around the report in 24 hours. Diminished Value of Georgia walked me through each step. They did not just charge me for the report and then leave me. They helped me when the Parking Company tried to get out of paying the full value that was owed to me.I highly recommend Diminished Value of Georgia.
Good result with Georgia Diminished Value. Thanks a bunch.
So friendly and informative over the phone!
I was having a dispute with Insurance Company about the Diminished Value of my Car. Diminished Value helped me through the process and got me an extra $1,000.00 more than what the Insurance Co would offer Me. Thanks Tony and Diminished Value support Personnel.
Only works when they are NOT hired by The at-fault insurance company. Making my DV claim a real nightmare.
In my opinion, this company colludes with insurance companies!!! And, from my experience, this was the case.
Great.
