Visited yesterday for the first time for Sauna Spa. Really liked all the services that are there. Staff members are helpful and polite.Visited my friend as a guest but I liked it so much. The lady at the front desk is very friendly. She made the whole check in process fast and simple. It has all the amenities that you would need to use certain services.

I’ve been a member now for a little over 2-months. I’m no stranger to the gym but it’s been a few years and needed to invest in myself to get back in shape. I bought training sessions with Tyler Nawrocki to keep me motivated and have some accountability. Tyler has been awesome! I’ve had professional strength Coaches in Division I college athletics and in the minor leagues as a professional baseball player. Tyler is hands down the best strength coach I’ve ever had! He’s helped with my nutrition and supplementation as well! He does his homework and is very well educated in all facets of fitness. It’s not cheap, but it’s an investment in myself to regain strength, mobility and increased energy levels for a guy creeping up on his 50’s!

The women’s bathroom upstairs was a mess. Both toilet paper rolls were wet that were in the stall, and clearly the toilet paper roll is too big for the holder because it won’t spin and women are just ripping at it to try to get pieces off.recently joined, and a lot of the amenities that were advertised are shut down, or depleted. The outdoor pool is supposed to have food and beverage service, and for the last entire month of summer it has been shut down. The Folsom location has been up and running the entire summer so it’s confusing that this is off limits in the Roseville location. The water slides were also a major perk for the family, and now they are shut down except for on weekends. Yet again, the Folsom location 30 minutes away has them open.I also noticed that in the women’s locker room, all the makeup wipes, razors etc are always empty. They stopped putting out the ladies spray deodorants as well. The other day I waited 20 minutes for a latte and I went back up to the front and they said they “forgot” to make my order though I was sitting at a table upfront. In the actual gym, the cleaning wipes to clean the machines are always empty too. I just feel like this price, all the advertised amenities should be available.

My wife and I have been members of Lifetime since 2018. Weve always had good experience with them. Ive started personal training with Clarke Brodnicki since Jun 1 2021. We have 2 weight training sessions a week. Over the last 9 weeks, I lost 9 lbs. Body fat percentage dropped by 1.3 % Skeletal muscle mass of my body increased by 1 lb. Ive lost 2 inches around my waist. Strength training has improved my posture, self confidence and sleep greatly. I couldnt have accomplished all this without Clarke. He has deep knowledge of human physiology, nutrition and nervous system. He is a great listener and an outstanding communicator. He has the rare ability to teach with humor and kindness. Received Personal Training from Forrest At LifeTime Roseville. He did an outstanding job helping me get ready for an Ironman 70.3. He knew I enjoyed activities more than lifting weights and found great exercises that focused on my growth and enjoyment in the gym. He was determined to help me achieve my goal and would reach out to me outside of work hours to provide tips and encouragement. If you are looking for a personal trainer who cares about your personal goals and wants you to succeed he is your guy. I would recommend him to family and friends.

This is a very beautiful gym and has a ton to offer for just about any enthusiasts. Unfortunately if you have children and work during the week and can’t make it in till later this is the furthest thing from convenient. The kids club is only open till 7:30pm. That is a total head scratcher especially given that it is summer time kids are out and it is absolutely packed at all hours of the day. For a gym priced so highly one with common sense would think the gym would focus on overall convenience for all life styles, as the name is “lifetime”

Locker rooms are clean and fully stocked with razors, shaving cream, lotion, deodorant, hair spray, hair dryers, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and towels.I used my guest pass to take the kids for a swim, as you can see we had the entire pools to ourselves at 7 pm !!

ATTN: Swimmers!LT Roseville is the WORST. You can never just do laps outside in the summer because the lanes are filled with swim teams, Masters swimmers being coached, or members’ guests, and members must adapt to all that! No problem, just get there at 4:00 AM, or share the only open lane with someone who’s doing aqua or swim strokes they invented in the lane, or drive another 12 miles up to LT Folsom where they show a little greater respect for members!p.s. the GM needs to make the NO PHONE USE IN THE CHANGING ROOM sign much bigger and ENFORCE IT!

I’m reluctant to share this review; and here’s whyI’ve been working out off and on for the last 28 years I’m 42 now. I’ve done everything, workout partners, hot yoga 5 days a week, CrossFit, P-90X and so much more.I always thought I didn’t need a personal trainer. Sounded nice but I didn’t realize what a “Great Trainer” would bring to the table.I started working out at Lifetime right when Covid came. The gym closed and opened but there was something different about this place, but what I didn’t expect was what happened after I decided I needed a personal trainer and that the cost was an investment not the other way around. My trainer Aliaksandra assessed where I was at physically, what I wanted to achieve and why.She has always been there on time, she pushes me exactly how I need to be pushed, she doesn’t text on her phone, she doesn’t wonder or chat with people, she immerses her attention in my session and the routines are engaging and challenging. She knows form, timing and exercises that really work. She has been such a rock for me, I have more energy more confidence and my whole life seems to have flipped. Business is at it’s all time high and I personally couldn’t be more happier.I was reluctant because I wish I had done this earlier.I give Aliaksandra a 5 star rating; I appreciate you and thank you for everything you are doing for me.

My wife, two kids, and myself have been members of this gym for sometime now and it has been a great experience. Before joining this gym I was under the mentality of why when I need to join a gym if I could do a lot of the same workouts at home… After joining Life Time it quickly dawned me that, when at home, I would make excuses whereas when I was at the gym I had no excuses to make so I was pushing myself more and getting the results I was looking for. Still in progress, I do enjoy my experience every time I go to the gym and either doing open work outs, or classes, or swimming, I always feel great afterwards.

Lifetime changed policies while account was on hold and moved it to an online-course only account. I didnt find out until me and the family was at the gym, dressed and ready to use the pool for the once a month visit. They turned us away and we went to California Family Fitness, where they gave us a free trial membership, which was really nice.Seeing how theyve lost most of their customers due to COVID they had to stop allowing the once a month visit when your account is on hold.I normally pay 20$ a month for the family to use the pool once. Now they want 389$ a month, no more once a month option. They also want to play games about refunding me the last charge but I just ended up call my bank and report it as fraud and demand a charge back. Too easy.

Bathrooms and showers could be cleaner(more kept up) it’s not the current staffs lack of dedication to the mission - lifetime needs to hire more staff (about 3 persons) to keep up with the pace of guests who use the showers and bathrooms.Perhaps this is due to COVID impact, so I’m hoping it improves as our life’s return to normal.“Adult area” by the pool NEEDS ENFORCEMENT!Spa services are too expensive. But the gym as a whole is pretty amazing. Staff are very friendly - and am always greeted with a smile.Once the pool area cafe opens, it will be even better! The classes are amazing! And I do love that we have to reserve spots now. It’s more spaced out this way so we aren’t bumping into each other anymore (this reservation thing is a result of COVID, but I like this particular result)I would definitely give this facility a whirl!

NOPEIf you want to join a gym run by cyborgs with limited capacity, this is the place for you.One of my pet peeves in life is when people cant/wont/dont look for ways to solve even the smallest of problems...like adding a family member to an existing membership...ESPECIALLY WHEN I AM TRYING TO GIVE YOU MONEY. As a business owner myself, I guarantee this would never happen in my company. And any employee of mine who treated a customer like I was treated would be in the unemployment line so fast that it would be a life changing event. They will probably come back with some direction about protocol and policy and blah blah blah.My answer to that: I have lots of credit cards. Swap this all onto one of mine. Simple. So instead, they lose the extra $70 a month...and Im totally ok with that. Moving on and Im going to lean on my wife to quit too. They dont deserve my business.NOTE TO THE MANAGEMENT: You have a ton of negative reviews. Instead of offering up canned responses to those angry customers, you should consider solving their problems instead.

I do wish their prices were more upfront and that the sales staff had access to what each trainer costs.Sales staff is great, a big fan of Richie and Ben. I actually missed out on a good deal cause I didnt listen to Richie and I wish I would have. They wont steer you wrong.Their life spa, Britta, does a great job with my hair and the prices are reasonable. As a woman with short hair, Im very picky about who cuts my hair. My no-chip manicures have lasted 2 weeks and I have a dirty manual job.Proactive Care Clinic, They have the worst hours if you have a full time job, their front desk was consistently difficult to get a hold of, and honestly a bit rude. I have no desire to use their products ever again in the future. But I dont need them to workout so they have no affect on my daily experience.

I have been a gym/pool rat most of my life. Never thought I would like one of these big, high-end places, but I have really liked it here for 5 years now. The facilities and equipment are excellent. The indoor pools are unmatched. The place and equipment is clean and well maintained, locker rooms are really nice, staff are professional, friendly, and helpful. Hours are great. Parking lots are big and safe. It costs more, and I drive a little further to get here than other gyms, but its worth it. I use the core/stretching area, weights, and indoor pool, and I can go in non-peak hours. I personally chose not to use the gym floor during COVID, but I doubt that would be different anywhere else. There are lots of super-fit folks here, which can be an inspiration or intimidation. No place is perfect. The staring-at-your-phone problem is common everywhere. Weight circuit training beyond 2 stations is not possible here-even slow times. I am surprised by how little they do to enforce their own rules - no signs, no floor monitor (all the floor employees are trainers). But the members there are a decent crowd, so issues are small. Disclaimer: I do not use kids academy, tennis, outdoor pools, spa, classes or peak times.

Superbly equipped, professionally staffed, and the absolute high bar example for any other gym/club. Its an extremely well designed facility with purpose-built areas for every discipline of fitness. Staff is always attending to something, and as a result the facility is almost always spotless, though maybe after rush hour the locker room gets a little messy. The Life Time template is laid over most of the classes, and those with extra-loud tunes and flashing lights might not be my style but seem to be popular. The yoga classes, with the exception of one or two instructors, may as well be taught by a slice of Wonder Bread. All in all, its a great resource that offers more than you can think of-- spa, cafe, classes, weights, exercise equipment, huge pools indoor and out-- its all here.

We paid 230$ for a family of two and a 2 yo baby. One would think that this would be very accommodating for the kids and they are not. Our Kid was not allowed in the spa, sauna, steam room. We were not allowed to use the KIDDY pool after 2000, which is the time when we usually came. We’re not allowed to be in the outside pool until March. Why can’t we be allowed to be the parents and guardians of our child? I’m not going to rely on a life guard anyways so why can’t I enjoy the facility fully? This was a huge turn off for us. As our baby got constantly cold and uncomfortable. We had to take long walks back into showers and back, which added to the issue. Will not be coming back. Huge waste of money and time for us.

I was given a few appointments with a personal trainer on initiation which was a total waste of time. After the first visit I didnt even use the others. She didnt know how to work the machines and what the modes did. Showed me a few weight machines which I already knew how to use. Tried to calculate my percent fat and water and then couldnt recall what the abbreviations meant and when I had to explain it to her she interpreted them completely wrong (I actually have a background in this so I let it ride). I just decided to not use the service again even though it was free since it was a waste of time.My biggest problem and the one that was the last straw and caused me to write this review (which is the first time I have ever bothered writing a review) is THEY SCAM FOR MONEY:-We were told when we joined that our caregiver could bring the kids to the various classes they have through childrens services. We would need to bring in paperwork (a lot of it!) and present together with caregiver and both parents to verify information. It costs extra to add the kids but we thought it would be worthwhile since we work a lot. When we finally got this all managed and showed up we were told that that was not true so we not only wasted our time but also money as we would not have added them to the account. We got over it and didnt complain.- We got free lessons for swim but they wanted to put our kids with children who couldnt swim 2 yards (both kids are on swim team and do full laps regularly). They would have to graduate to the next levels. Ok, but after a trial of a class it was clear this was something to hook you because they didnt even go over the kick they wanted him to master (a breast stroke kick on his back as was explained to me) and had not been covered per my friend who had been in the class for months. This clearly was just a way to rope you into months of paying. We again didnt complain and just decided not to use the service or free classes (despite them continually calling asking if we wanted them to sign our kids up for their free lessons and me continually telling them no)- Every time you want to make a change to your account there is a fee. This is not a complaint but something you should know- The icing on the cake was WHEN I WENT TO CANCEL: You have to go in person and when I did I was charged a fee (no biggie), 30 day wait period so one more month charged at full price (no biggie). Then I was asked if I wanted to put account on hold. It was only 20 dollars and if I changed my mind I could come back. OK, seemed reasonable. My initiation fee was basically 10 dollars at the new year but might save me some hassle later. Would last for 9 months. They would email me when time was nearly up. I noticed 3 months later a recurring fee for 20 dollars. I called and explained what I thought it was, staff said that was weird, went into account and said, oh, yeah, thats the recurring fee for holding. I was told I had to come in to make the change. I did and asked to speak to the manager as this was not what I agreed to. He stated he had no power to refund anything and it would be another 30 days (and 20 dollars for which he again could not waive fee) for cancellation to take effect. I could email the director but they pretty much never refunded anything. I wont get into other snippy comments he made as that is really not the point. I just caution others to watch your statements and to be weary of what you are told.I will definitely not be going back and caution others to be careful and dont take what you are told to mean anything. They wont stand by it later.

Amazing place. Seems more like a mall with the salon, spa, café, kid activities, pools, work out facilities and birthday parties. Went to one of the bed kid birthdays and we all had a great time. Would love to throw my a kids party here!

Worst experience ever. Do not trust their business. Went to cancel service and was deceived by their assurance that it was. Then 6 months later they send non stip harrassment emails and calls to pay for something i did not use. And to add to the fact that i called and went in person to make sure the membership is canceled. They still continue...

This is for the Spa in the Roseville location.Made an appointment for an express manicureAt 3:15pm got stuck in traffic, so I call and let them know I’m running 5 to 10 minutes late. They tell me it’s okay however they are going to take that time out of my service. My nails look real bad so I agree to that. When I get there 5 minutes late. They tell me nope I have a client coming in in 10 minutes so we can’t help you.

Unfortunately theres no option of no star thats why I have to give one. Dont take me wrong, the facility is clean and nice. The front desk people are super friendly. This is all about training management. As a business owner myself I dont know base on what skills they hire and put someone in charge when she doesnt have any management skills. When you call, she is never there and goes to her voicemail which says: I will get back to you in 24 hours dont waste your time waiting, she wont bother to call back. As I said if you like somewhere clean to exercise and only use the equipment its dood place. But dont fall for their trainers. The only thing they care about is how to sell things to you and charge your card with no permission and when it comes to issues and concerns no one will get back to you.

I had a horrible experience at this facility. The person that sold me the membership talked poorly about her coworkers and then refused to help me when I wanted to cancel my membership. As far as our interactions had went we were just fine. She was completely unprofessional and I treated her with nothing but respect the entire time I was there.
