Great gym very clean. The staff was very nice and helped me with signing in as a new member. Would recommend for anyone who wants to find a gym. This gym should get 6 stars.👍👍👍👍

I am truly not sure what is wrong with this location- I normally go to the Antelope one. I have been a member of 24 hour for 15 years.The blond employee at the front desk was rude, unprofessional, and condescending. Even as I was leaving after asking her a question, I heard her complain to the other workers about it.Very unprofessional.I doubt 24 hour monitors these reviews, but I was truly appalled at the lack of customer service and honestly, human decency.

Gym is open but has a capacity. Only way to know if they’re at capacity is to show up. They will ask you to wait in line until someone comes out. Worth it, but would be nice to know how busy they are before showing up.

Glad to be back. Sometimes there is a line, but it moves fairly quickly. They are only open at 10% capacity and the front desk staff is doing a great job of taking it and other measures seriously.

Wanted to come in for a day pass and to check it out. Called ahead and got the price and specifically asked them if I have to be in by a certain time and they said no whenever is fine! Glad I took my pre-workout and came in to find it was closed...

Do you have a day pass from a referral? Good luck using it. I had a free 3 day pass from a member, but the front desk wouldnt let me activate it because I wasnt local. They offered to charge me $20 for a one day pass. This seems silly to me because I do have 24 Hour Fitness gyms in my area, and working out at this location may have gotten me to sign up.

Very disappointed in this club. When you offer a service at 5am, it would be wise to appropriately staff your gym. This club is working on such bare bones that if one person doesn’t show up for work, the club won’t open. Not to mention, it is no longer open 24 hours. Myself and over 30 other gym members waited outside for 20 mins. I ended up leaving so who knows what time it finally opened. My hope is that this review will encourage this gym to do better. Everyone’s time is valuable.

Absolutely abysmal staff. Called up about buying a weekly pass since I was on vacation, sales staff had no clue what was going on. Said I could come in and get a 3 day pass for free. When I came in the next day, place looked terrible and the front sales area was trashed. Sales manager came out and said they wouldnt do the 3 day pass because were from out of town and how would that help their sales? Sales manager was extremely rude, and when I asked about the 7 day pass she stated it was $50 and Id probably be better off going somewhere else to get a cheaper membership. I asked if she knew why it was more than the monthly membership, and she stated probably corporate trying to keep people from getting the weekly membership so they feel pressured to get a monthly.This all seemed like an odd tactic for sales since I have 24 hour fitness all around me, and she never knows who could wind up liking the gym and signing up long term.This entire location is a waste of time if youre serious about working out, and seems to be very poorly kept up. Dont even bother stopping by.

Says you guys open at 6:30 on Sunday’s. It’s 7am and nobody is here with no notice on the door. People were waiting out here for half an hour before I left.

They closed the main building of the gym because of covid, then they open up a reservation only gym in the parking lot, inside of tent with less equipment. Because that makes so much sense. If only our business owners weren’t spineless and would stand up to these ridiculously unconstitutional lockdowns

Most members are being responsible and wearing their masks properly. The few that arent should do so as well. If they refuse to do so, they should stay away for being irresponsible and placing fellow members at risk. It will only take one or two irresponsible members to cause the gym to close again.

Tried to use 24go but every time I go in to workout the scanner does not register me. Then the app says I missed a workout. I let the front desk know that my finger was not scanning and they (2 of them) just shrugged. If someone else knows of a club with a pool for a reasonable price please let me know.

The new protocols are working well. Making a reservation is good. Club is not crowded social distancing is good. I do wish at least 1 tv in each row was tuned to something other than news. I like to work out to relieve stress not get more stressed from all of the negative news. I listen to music but all you see is the negativity and hate scrolling across the screen for an hour. It sucks. Asked at the desk and was told the tvs are tuned to preset channels. Bummer

As a long time member I can see the deterioration of the club. Not kept clean and limited hours- no longer a 24 hour club! Machines out of repair! They keep shortening the hours . No wonder they filed bankruptcy! Club is at minimal standard! If you can’t go to college go to 24 hour!

I used to enjoy this 24hr but as of Dec 2019 they close at MIDNIGHT everyday. Im absolutely leaving 20hr or whatever it should be called now if they dont change this back.

Devin, (the manager on duty), has no reason to be working here. Zero professionalism, aptitude, or customer service skills. Horrible staff, dirty equipment, crowded. I came here the other night to setup an account. When I walked in I greeted the girl at the front desk who said nothing back to me. I waited about 10 seconds for her to acknowledge me after which she said “Oh, I wasn’t sure what you were doing or why you were just standing there..” Who hires someone with no customer service skills or even the courtesy to say hello to clients and potential customers who enter? After speaking with her briefly, I met Devin. Devin proceeded to tell me that the gym was only going to let me join if I was %100 positive that I would be joining. I thought this was funny and let him know I wasn’t sure if I was going to join. He responded by telling me to pay $20 for a 1 time workout, to which I responded “Is there a manager or someone else I can talk to that might be more helpful?”. He let me know that 24hour fitness was not a “bar” and that name dropping doesn’t work there. At that point I told him to have a good night and walked out. With gyms like LifeTime (way cleaner and MUCH better amenities), and Crunch (1/4 the price with the same equipment), I would have hoped that Devin would be more concerned about making sure to answer my questions and work with me to figure out a proper membership for myself and family.

Today when I was in the facility I seen two people getting off the equipment and not wiping it down I did not see any attendant going around cleaning equipment at first when they reopen I did but now its been a couple of weeks and and they have not or I have not seen them cleaning it I think its a failure for that

This is one of my favorite gyms for basketball. The guys here know how to play the game well for the most part and play good, hard basketball. The floors have good grip as well. Theres a lot of room on the court to run as well. Theres plenty of equipment to go around depending what time you come. I like the dry sauna and from all the clubs Ive been to in the Sacramento area, this is one of the top 3 for me.

Opened up, expanded to a capacity of 170, and still not enforcing the mask rule. I’m assuming the staff needs better training to enforce this so I blame management.

Great place for work out

Great gym with pool, sauna, and hot tub! Also has child care with very low cost membership. They will pressure you to get a personal trainer or sign up for workout classes which are expensive and where they make their money but once you get past that they leave you alone and you can workout whenever you please. I trained in this gym while getting ready for special operations in the Navy

Went in just to see what this place was all about. Super clean gym with a lot of amenities. Sign up process seemed like a headache, but overall it looked like a decent place. also shootout to Kira she talked to me for some time about proteins and different options to meet my goals in and outside of the gym. People seem knowledgable here which is always a plus

24hr Fitness is all over the map. You can go anytime all the time anywhere. Good equipment and well maintained. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff ready to help you with your training program.

Large amount of workout machines, at least 2 of each type. 4 squat racks, lots of bench/incline setups, plenty of dumbbells. The basketball court and pool/sauna/steam room are nice to have. Peak hours definitely at around 5, most empty on Sundays around 2.

I absolutely love this Gym. The staff is very friendly, they clean equipment and rack weight every single hour, I can always count on good music and a good workout with their plethora of weights and equipment. Shout out to Jake one of the staff members for always being helpful to new members and having a huge amount of knowledge on proper dieting! Thank you 24 hour Fitness!

I eliminate a lot of the headaches by buying the 2 yr membership offered at Costco. I allows me to go to any sport or active level gym. This gym has everything and the staff is always great. It can get crowded though. This gym also seems to have the most grp fitness classes of all the 24hrs in the area, but they recently got rid of my favorite boot camp class.

Worst place to work out when you have kids! Theres never enough staff to accommodate kids in care. I have called headquarters several times in regards to the consistent problems. Manager Eric and Michele both say they cant do anything about it due to budget. They schedule classes at 830am, but dont open care til 845am. Or they have class at 630, but daycare closes at 630pm Fri. Wed night theres class at 730pm and again daycare closes at 8pm. Makes no sense.

So, I went to this gym for the first time, they offered me a tour...I agreed because I had never been to a 24 hour fitness. Along with my tour I was pretty much told I needed personal training. They had the fitness manager speak with me and the two guys together pushed the training and I was told I would most likely fail without it...and they talked about all the people they see going there that arent making any progress because they dont have personal training. I tried to say no MULTIPLE times, but they kept pushing...so when they said I had five days to cancel, I finally agreed to a small package. I went home and realized that their very expensive training wasnt within my budget and I called the next day to cancel (this was a Friday). I was told the one person that could do it wasnt available and he would be there tomorrow. I called the next day, he still wasnt there...I was told he would be available Monday. I called Monday, still not there...please note, every person I spoke with reiterated how I shouldnt cancel these and needed them. Instead of cancelling they wanted me to come in and reassess and find a package I might like better. I finally got a hold of the one person that could cancel the sessions on Tuesday, the very last day I had to cancel. As soon as he issued a refund, I called member services to cancel my overall membership. Of the $122 I paid, they would only refund $21 because I was now over my five day window to cancel...which I only waited for to be sure there wouldnt be any issues with the refund of the personal training. When I spoke to a supervisor to find out why I wouldnt also get a refund for my last month dues even though I had been to the gym only once and would never be going back, she told me I didnt have to go to that location, I can go to another gym...the next closest location is nearly an hour away!! *because I only have access to certain TYPES of their gyms...what an awful company to keep your money, even if the reason youre cancelling is due to how their employees treated you and made the environment unwelcoming. With so many gym options out there, I will never be a member of 24 hour fitness again!

I got sort of life membership 13 years ago. So now I pay only $49 per year. And they have everything that I need. I took one star out only because Ive seen better gyms.

Of all the 24hour gyms, this one is by far the best spot for atmosphere, friendly staff, the equipment are taken care of, plus theres a very nice walking/bike riding path just behind the building.💕💕💕

A very nice high quality facility for a 24 Hour Fitness. Has everything you need from weights to cardio. Also has a three-lane pool for swimming, a sauna and steam room and a hot tub. The shower and locker room facilities are also adequate. Its at a very convenient location right off of I-80. Definitely one of the better 24-hour fitnesses in the area. The staff is also very friendly. Best of all the facility is clean.

Horrible customer service. I have been a member of 24 for years and recently had to cancel due to a move and new employment. I walk in to check this new club out that I just moved to, I asked for a trail to make sure that the distance would be manageable from work and my new residence. The sales person response was shocking because I have been a member of a 24 before they would have to charge me $20 a day. Horrible customer service will never return to this location again. Or any other for that matter.

Great to get back to the gym

Used to be the top of the line gym. They used to have the latest equipment. Visited after a few years and the equipments r wearing apart. Machines not been replaced. Cost cutting is visible.

24 hour in Roseville is the best gym Ive been to in my life. Brand new stair machines take the cake. Vacant group excercise room makes it that much better. I need not mention the hot tub, steam room, sauna, and pool, but if youre wondering, they are always in clean, working order.

There are many things wrong with this gym. First being, the assistant manager does not seem like he is interested in getting new members into 24 hours gym. The tip I would give to the assistantamanager is to not call anybody dude it is very disrespectful and also to not have a short temper and be more welcoming. Do not get a membership in this gym it is not worth the price.

The gym itself is ok. Lots and lots of cardio machines. Weight rack is a weak spot since I find myself waiting for someone to return a weight I want to use all too often. They have exercise classes All The Time. Which is cool. But I like to use that dimly lit room for stretches therefore that hurts me. Pool and saunas are fine. But beware. That chlorine hits hard.Their staff however is absolutely amazing. I love this gym for their staff. Very friendly. They answer questions. Theyve even helped me locate exercise equipment I didnt know how to describe correctly. Good people.

This is not a 24 hour fitness as the sauna and steam room closes at 11pm-4:30. This is one of the top reasons I go to a 24 hour fitness as I work late and want to go to the sauna / spa area and its always closed. Why cant you close it for just an hour to clean it and reopen.

Got a 7 day free trial to this 24 hour fitness, walk in and am told by the guy, Donald, at the front desk I’m not eligible for the trial because I mentioned I had a membership to a different 24hour fitness over 2 years ago. Not knowing what the policy is I took his word for it and paid 20$ to workout with my buddy as I had driven way out of my way already to be there. I looked up the policy afterwards and find out your not eligible for the trial only if you’ve had a membership within the last 6months (I had a membership over two years ago), so basically Donald shook my hand, looked me in the eye and lied to me to make a quick buck. Really sketchy business practices and just reminded me why I quit my membership with 24hour fitness in the first place.

Bad customer service! Ive been a member at 24 hour Fitness for years and until I dealt with management & trainers, I did not know they treat clients so bad & fail to deliver on their promises. Long story short, they scheduled me for few training sessions which got cancelled when I arrived (due to double booking), then I couldnt reach Matt to schedule one, nor would he call me back for a week. In the end, I decided not to deal with their personal training dept., its not worth paying money for. They are good in selling their services & collecting the money but when it comes to delivering good service, they fail miserably & leave an unpleasant impression.The gym overall is decent, should be cleaner but their focus is on selling personal training, not keeping the place clean, so that makes sense...

Its in a convenient location, has most of the equipment up and running, and is fairly clean. The mens lockers arent immaculate, but for all intents and purposes theyre clean enough. This is a SPORT location

I had a question at the front desk and there was no one there. I waited for 10 minutes but no one came up front. The night staff is nowhere to be seen...Update: found her playing basketball in uniform

Decent gym with okay equipment. Its a pretty average 24 fitness. Dont expect anything out of the WiFi, eveyou cantn load google.

After going here for some time, I was sorely disappointed. My personal trainer was fantastic, but he moved onto a different company.I ended up leaving this gym because of the manager, Ryan. I was very upset watching him talk to one of the trainers, putting him down and talking to him like he was a child (using profanity and being insulting). I went to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager on duty only to find out it was the same man being so rude! I changed 24hrs promptly after that, going over to CH. When I told them what I had encountered, nobody seemed surprised. They said hes got a reputation for that.As a manager I was horrified by the way he spoke to his staff. Ill never step foot in there again as long as he works there.

I have been a member of this club for years. All in all they do a pretty good job and keeping it clean. The staff is very friendly.

I love it here, staff is excellent, equipment is usually in good working condition. I am disappointed in cleanliness of the shower and pool area, be sure to wear flipflops.. you can actually see mold, I avoid altogether.

I had been a member here for 10 years, moved to an area where that was not a location close by, so i cancelled my account, I came back a few years later and signed up like i did the first time, nothing was different, i come to find out a few months later that I was locked into a year long contract that I was not informed about during the sign up process. So i wait it out, not happy about it but fine, ive seen worse, i start going again, then comes december, they require you to pay a maintenance fee right before christmas that i was not informed about, but is probably somewhere in a lengthy contract i was emailed 15 months ago- which is irritating, so i go to cancel because ive had enough and just want to be done supporting this company that seems to be way more money hungry than in the past, and i have a random balance of 139 dollars from god knows where, id paid my subscription dues every month AND the 50 dollar maintenance fee, after sitting on the phone for 20+ minutes, they tell me i dont really owe it, they just say i do until 90 days has went by and it terminates the account. over 10 years with this company but probably wont sign up ever again after this

I got a 3 day pass so I could try the gym out with my cousin since she was a member, but as I entered the gym they were already trying to get me to sign up for a membership even though I havent even tried the place yet. So, I called them out on it but they came up with some lame excuse. I caved in and did not like it at all. Total waste of money.

Kind of full a lot... but a good gym overall. No wifi and service is weak, if I try to stream Pandora or iheart radio it almost always falters.

No enforcement of mask wearing whatsoever

They got two stars because they can’t control the sheer amount of naked people in The locker rooms! It’s disgusting and I don’t like it. Their are bathrooms if you want to get naked and you don’t have to walk around showing your uncovered body to everyone.

I never have been so disappointed of this gym until now. Worst customer service ever. the reisepsionist hang up on me when I ask for his name in a phone call. Called again and hung up again. Went in person and refused to give his name or call a manager Im canceling my two gym memberships. Good customers are lost with bad customer service. Do not recommend the Roseville location

Horrible. I just wanted to go in and get a 3 day pass and the staff completely made me feel bad about not making a commitment today for a month to month membership. It said on the pass that I could sign up online, show them the conformation email, and workout. But it was the total opposite.They were very pushy about what I should do and wouldnt let me do my own thing. They made me feel like I didnt know what I was doing, and told me I needed a trainer (when I told her in the beginning I didnt want one.) An employee tried to set up an appointment for me for the 2nd DAY of my free pass to buy into the programs. And took note of what time I get done from school so that they can call and text me about it and see when im coming in.They are extremely over persistent and overall bad vibes in the gym. Very crowded too. I will not recommend this gym to anyone I know.

I find it dirty - equipment and floor should be cleaned several times daily. If that were done it would attract more members. I cant imagine going into the pool nor using the facilities - its just dirty

They are so funny and rude. When I called to cancel membership, I entered my account # & DOB thru their automatic answering system. Then, I said Cancle and was waiting for agent. But, I had to wait for somebodys answering FOREVER. So I called again and tried to enter my account # a couple of times but they said we cannot find your account #...???!!!..anyway again I waited for agent FOREVER....So I changed my mind and called again to enter the NEW code New membership. and then IMMEDIATELY and FINALLY I could be connected with agent!!Fortunately I could cancel my membership BUT after she said okay, canceled!, the telephone was suddenly cut off..

Horrible experience with the club manager Tony, unprofessional and disrespectful. Called their customer care line and nothing was resolved, didnt seem to care. Highly recommend to stay away from this club, I sure will!

I found the staff and coaches very helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that the seimming pool water is too cold. Over all, it is a good and extremly friendly palce to work out.
