My apartment has flooded 16 times in 4 years and they still havent fixed the plumbing. The tenants do whatever they want, you cant have anything mailed here safely, the place is falling apart, and once I move out, theyll probably still charge me for the damage brought on by the neglegence of the management. Cory was cool, but everyone else, you should be ashamed of the place you run. This place gets worse every year, and I would not recommend it. Youte better off living on the streets
DO NOT LIVE HERE! People in these apt will steal your things and break onto your apartment when youre gone!
I hate living here!!! Management is horrible they don’t communicate or care or about their tenets, they close the office early for no reason and they let the residents do whatever they want. I can’t wait until my lease is up. I hate it here
Ive had alot of issues here from ants, to silver fish, to unlovable move in conditions... You name it. I have to give the office guy Derrick some credit because hes been my main point of contact. He has come threw for us a few times and made sure that our issues were address. To be honest, I was unpleasant and even yelled a few times because of the frustrations of living here and Derrick had always been forgiving and understanding of the frustrations endured here. Have to give him some credit for keeping his head together while dealing with all the complains and callers like myself. Hope to see upper management make his job easier by fixing this property the right way!
Maintenance doesnt seem to exist in this complex The intercom system door buzzer to let guests in or see who is visiting has not worked in over 3 weeks, I have made numerous calls to the office....to always get the same response....we are working on it...should be fixed by tomorrow! This place is truly a money taking organization that cares about nothing more than getting your rent money! What they provide you in return in terms of up to date and in good working order is non-existent.
This apartment building is absolutely horrendous! I wouldnt recommend this dump to anyone I havent had hot water since Ive moved in Ive only been here for 3 months! my car has gotten broken into i called the office and all they could tell me was to file a police report ! My apartment has flooded TWICE .maintenance never responds and when they do they dont show up this place his horrible
If you read any review, read this one. My husband and I moved in nearly 2 months ago. The apartment itself looks nice and is fairly quiet but there are major, major issues. When we moved in and I got a closer look, I noticed that the carpet itself was sticky and disgusting, and looked at as though it hadnt been cleaned at all. There were peanut shells along every wall and several screws in the carpet, which I only noticed after puncturing my foot on one. We also noticed almost right away that the shower did not work properly. The cold water cuts out leaving us only with burning hot water on our skin, even when we take cold showers. I reported it right away, and has been attempting since then to get it fixed. The office has told me several dates and times that maintenance would show up, but it never has. Not only this, but my husband and I are paying for a single parking spot in the garage, that has been filled from the very day we moved in with a car that is dusty and untouched, so we are unable to use our spot. They provided me with a temporary spot, that ended up being someone elses spot and they got very upset at me. There are several other general maintenance things I could speak about but they are far less important. I very much hope that these issues can be resolved.Update:My husband and I have been living here now for almost 6 months and I can assure you that none of the issues above have been addressed. At about month four, someone came to look at the shower only to tell me nothing is wrong with it. At about the same time, the dishwasher broke and started leaking all over the floor. Someone did come, thankfully, to check on that issue. While they did stop the leaking, the dishwasher now does not work at all. Oh, and the spot in the garage we are paying for is still filled with the same dusty untouched car. I am looking for a way out of our lease and for new apartments because this has been an awful experience.
Worst possible place to live. Moving out after the minimum 1 year lease and to be honest I would have rather spent time in prison. Extremely overpriced, you can literally pay a mortgage on a house for cheaper than a 2 bedroom here.
I moved in 2 weeks ago and have had nothing but good experiences with this place. The staff is very adamant about maintenance requests and they are very quick at responding via email to any questions I have. My apartment is very quiet (with the exception of Rice St traffic) with nice neighbors! I had a great experience touring multiple apartments with Sara before choosing my favorite. She was very thorough about everything! Upon move-in, my apartment was clean. The location of this apartment is excellent, with hwy 694, 36, and 35E very close! One thing thats unfortunate is that only one washer and one dryer are working on my floor (there are two of each). Not extremely terrible, but cant wait for the repairs to happen. One tiny thing is that the lobby of the South building smells funky but it doesnt affect my apartment whatsoever.Satisfied with my experience here so far. I hope it stays that way!
My husband and I lived here for about 3 years. Some environmental issues including people stealing or destroying door decor and other residents leaving trash around. Management was good, our calls and concerns were always addressed. One of the office staff, Cory, is awesome and really helped make our stay there enjoyable.
I just moved here in April 2017, and I could not be more pleased. The sunken living rooms are unique and make the whole apartment seem more spacious. I specifically chose a unit with a renovated kitchen, so the dark wood cabinets and matching stainless steel appliances make this place truly feel like home. My friends are all jealous! This is the perfect place for me, and I plan on staying here for several years. The management was extremely helpful and comforting throughout the entire application and move in process. I appreciate the time and care they took to show me multiple units and assist me with anything I needed. They have provided me with an excellent experience. Dont listen to the negative reviews of this place. If you maintain a grateful, respectful, and professional attitude, the staff will treat you with the same courtesy. Every apartment has its flaws, so if you focus on the positives you will see how amazing your time here can be.
Worst apartment complex Ive ever lived in. I cant remember the last day where I couldnt hear a neighbors music blasting so loud I can hear it multiple units away. It always smells like smoke and marijuana in the complex, I walked in on people smoking in the stairwells and laundry rooms multiple times. From the other reviews its obvious many people have the same problem. Ive made noise complaints to the office but at this point I dont really know what to do. The unit itself is fine aside from not having any control over the heat, so I constantly have to have the windows open in the winter to keep the place from being too hot. I will not be renewing my current lease
This place is a joke. RUN FAR AWAY
My fiance and I have been at Rosedale Estates North for just under 2 years now. Our experience has been great. All staff members have been extremely helpful and kind. I do have to give special shout to Corey though. He has gone above and beyond every single time we have had a concern, question or issue (he has even carried packages to our vehicle on multiple occasions simply to be helpful). Our apartment itself looks great and was newly renovated. The elevator is a little small for moving in or moving out but that is my only complaint.
Lease ends next month. Maintenance comes right away when needed them along with friendly staffs. Sad thing would be loud neighbors, bad smell from hallways, people cant park correctly outside, and trash outside pretty much on a daily basis. Other than that this place okay and convenient due to being close to highway and my favorite donut hut only minutes walk away.
When I move in May 28 2016. First thing, I thought would be ok. Which is not! And they didnt tell me how many days I can move out if I dont like it. They are hand to me with handbook like policy. I was like are you freaking kidding me. I feel like someone threw on my face like its hit me real hard learn lesson. So I decide to accept hard and patience. This time, Im so done with those people have zero respect for us who live below me and still damn broom to stop us. I was like what!? We do nothing. This is last straw for us. Whom people want to stay quiet and cant make a noise therefore you are more than welcome to live here but for Deaf people want live in Rosedale estates and I recommend dont. Just blunt honest. This is not for Deaf people as consist for hearing people who know how to stay quiet. unbelievable!
Neighbors smoke crack and weed and are very loud and noisy. Management is lousy and never takes any action.
Place is a total waste of money. DO NOT MOVE HERE. Way too overpriced for such small and crap one bedroom or more. Litter in the South parking lots (it seems they favor the North building or something). Broken doors all the time. You can find way better apartments with a lot more room for lower price. The NEW staff are a** and maintenance has gotten WORSE ever since their leasing office moved from the South building to the North. Dont do it people. Plus communication from them is terrible. They didnt even give me a proper notice about my lease ending which ALL apartments are supposed to do and required. Talk about required notices when they dont even do their part.
My husband and I lived in the north building for six years, from 2012-2018, through two different management companies. Since Goldmark bought the building the maintenance, cleanliness, upkeep and overall service from the on site management greatly decreased. The hallways, grounds, garage, and gym are consistently dirty and not cleaned or monitored by staff. The communication from the office is unprofessional and generally unfriendly about everything from pool closure, to plowing to maintenance concerns.Corey in the office was the only bright spot about our last couple of years living in the building, he would go out of his way to be sure our needs were met while the other office staff treated residents like an inconvenience.I cannot strongly enough urge potential residents to look at other buildings nearby as they are much nicer, and close to the same price. Do not move here.
They will enter your premises without notice. I came home to my bedding displaced with a note stating there was no sign of bedbugs. I never had trouble or called about bedbugs?! Sure enough, we started to see signs of bedbug bites on ourselves. We complained to the rental office as well as to corporate. The regional manager did not deny that it sounded like there was a lazy employee who was not doing their job.Now its been months since we moved and we just got a collection letter in the mail because of Goldmark Properties. Collections?!! We never got anything in the mail from them. As it turns out, the carpet was irreplaceable. Goodness, what is going on? We never did anything to the carpet.Goldmark Properties screwed with us mentally, financially and physically (health wise). No one deserves the hell these guys have put us through.
My husband and I toured the place and fell in love with the layout of the apartment. When we lived on the second floor, we were rarely home nor do we ever party. The walls are super thin. After the management changed, everything went down the drain. The neighbor on the 1st floor often complain and even accused us of smoking and throwing cigarette butts down but neither one of us smoke. Management automatically assumed we did it and gave us a warning. She didn’t ask if we smoke or maybe it’s the neighbor from the 3rd floor. Management was rude and unprofessional. Couple of times our neighbor on the 3rd floor were vacuuming at 2-3am, we did not complain because we figure we’re trying to get along. The next day, we received a call from management about a noise complaint. It was pretty ridiculous.
Do yourself a favor an dont rent from here. They never take your wants or concerns seriously. Ive tried contacting a property manager numerous times and am always shafted. Derek is the worst of them all. Puts on a decent friendly face towards you but any requests or concerns he literally takes the info. Pretends to type it into the computer and then boom a months or 2 goes by and your still waiting on a response or update. Ontop of all the the parking lot and the entry ways are a joke. Doors always propped open, broken down cars in the lot. Some dont even have liscens plates and sit there for months. Overall not a safe enviroment and poor staff. Also they will never give you a notice about coming into your apartment. They come in and out like they live there. One huhe headache after another.
Easy and quick move in. But wevery barely lived here for a month and someone has hit and run our car in the parking lot and broke into it. Random fire alarms that wake us up at 3am. Already wanting to move out.
This place was awful. Worst place Ive ever lived by far. Loud neighbors on both sides and above us. The whole place wreaked of smoke. The neighbors on one side were constantly smoking marijuana which I could smell in my room. Im pretty sure they were drug dealers as well. The management would never address any issues. If the maintenance people ever come to your apartment, they leave muddy footprints everywhere. They also charge you a fee to clean the carpet regardless of whether you kept it in perfect condition. Rosedale Estates doesnt even deserve 1 star.
Bad reputation, office dont care about your needs. hallway smell weed every single day....Dont even try to move here. After signing your lease, you will see their real face. In plus, hallways smell weed. Impossible to schedule maintenance because they too lasy to pick up the phone. Had a lot of hits and runs. They came to do a pre-move out inspection while i was at work. When I came back my bedroom was smelling weed....
I currently live here and am excited and cant wait for my lease to end next month. First and foremost my husband has had a hit and run happen to his vehicle twice, thank God the first time there was a witness and the individual was caught.Secondly the staff are inconvenient and rude, before we moved in they were friendly and nice and after we signed the lease they could care less about your concerns. 2 times I schedule to do the non lease renewal paperwork stating I wouldnt be renewing my lease and both times I showed up I was told Id have to reschedule because someone else had schedule to renew their lease. I guess if your not renewing your lease with them your the least of their concerns. The halls always reeks of marijuana from the 1st floor up to the 3rd, I also had a couple living on my floor who would get drunk then start fighting, yelling, and cursing in the halls disturbing the entire floor and each time the police were called on them. There are holes being punch into the walls on the garage level and have been fixed multiple times, someone writes mean things in the elevator and the elevator is always dirty and smelly (elevator also shocks you every time you press the button so me and my family avoid using the elevator unless necessary). Maintainanc was being done on the hallway walls and the wires in the walls were left exposed for over a week (dangerous for the children living on that floor).I do not recommend Rosedale Estates if you like a quiet, friendly, safe place to live. If I could give zero stars I would.
Pretty dirty place to live. The stairwell I walk down every day to get the garage has had the same trash in it for the last couple months. They might not have anyone to actually clean it. There are all sorts of things broken in the building at any given time. Those are not my main issues though. My main issues are the crime in the buildings themselves. The cars in the underground garage are broken into regularly. Take a walk through the garage and look at all of the broken auto glass on the ground. If you care about your family or belongings this is not a nice place to live. If you dont have anything valueable, you like the smell of weed, a hookup on every floor, and want to throw your trash everywhere but the garbage this is the place for you!
I stayed in this apartment for 6months horrible experience the apartment is trashed and dirty and everything is falling apart the hallways theres trash everywhere it smells like weed my son got a flu because the apartment was always cold anytime you call them to fix anything it takes them weeks before showing up they gave my mailbox & apartment keys to someone without contacting me I have prove and pictures for everything Im suing and taking them to court they want to charge me for a month I never stayed in the apartment and also charge me termination fees. the apartment is horrible I will see them in court.
Nice staff when you first move in, once you show interest of moving out they become very rude. Maintenance takes forever, at one point a repair took over 2 weeks and that was after we called and reminded them about the issue. Had to call multiple times for an emergency maintence call that happened in the the middle of the night. Our bathroom was flooding and the on call maintence was rude and didnt seem too concerned. Hallways smell like smoke and marijuana, loud neighbors that lived around us. This place needs some major changes if they want to keep their future residents.
This is the dirtiest, smelliest place I have ever lived and its pretty pathetic that the staff hasnt done anything about it. We moved in and the carpet was completely stained as if it was never cleaned. The tiny elevator is a joke and the outside door to the building rarely latches shut so literally anyone can get in. Office staff never returns calls either. Very noisy building, and for some creepy reason, the people living across our balcony like to sit and stare at our unit. Hallways reak of marijuana and piss. Gross. Dont move here. There are plenty of nicer places for a lot less in the area.
Apparently rules only apply to residents. We are required and I’ve been notified I need to take my dog to the other side of the building when taking him out ( I clean up after my dog ) . I see the office guy taking his dogs right outside the doors and sometimes doesn’t clean up after his dogs! It’s very frustrating knowing employees get away with stuff residents can’t.Not to mention when he shovels or uses the snow blower he doesn’t have the respect to point the machine the other way causing snow and ice damage to the residents cars. I have asked him to point it the other way and he chooses not to do so. It is a poorly maintained property. When you walk through the hallways you will see the same piece of trash through the hallways sometimes weeks at a time.On top of that, rent is almost $1000 a month for a 1 bedroom apartment.
This place is full of incompetent managers. They take forever to process applications and don’t know how to deal with people that aren’t cracked out morons. In particular “Corey” is a brainless waste of space who screwed me out of a place to live due to his lack of effort to keep in touch. Not only did he take almost a week and a half to process the application but kept drip feeding me misinformation about my app status. At the last minute he told me I didn’t qualify for the apartment that I was heavily depending on moving into. He was the cause of me being homeless, and I can’t stress enough how angry I am. He seemed like he hardly knew what he was doing and was unsure of himself during my entire experience with him. He is a cowardly incompetent moron who got the position he’s in because the management office must’ve been desperate. I was going to consult a personal lawyer (I have plenty of evidence to constitute a case)but I decided it wasnt worth the time.
Do not live here. Trash in halls for days. Broken door locks to building they do not care to fix. Management rude. No comminication. Lie to you. Treat you even worse after you put your notice to move out.
This place is a dump..dog feces all over the entry ways..numerous complaints about rude and disturbing neighbors constantly go un dealt with..if you enjoying living in hell and paying a thousand dollars a month rent this is the place for you!! Management is completely piss poor..turning into a muslim village..what a waste of money..
RENTER BEWARE: SLUMLORDS, SLUMLORDS, SLUMLORDS!!! We pay $1210.00 monthly rent and have had maintenance problems since moving in! There is a horrible plumbing problem throughout the entire building with ceiling leaks and brown water stains everywhere, flooding and toilet and bathtub leaks due to the fact that they have extremely old and outdated appliances and wont replace anything. Horrible odor coming from the bathroom sink that I called about over 6 months ago and hasnt been resolved, AC wall units blow hot air and only works when its COLD OUTSIDE, go figure! Not to mention when we go outside on our balcony were staring down at a cement prison yard! Thank God our lease is up next month, these apts are way overpriced, are small as hell, have massive plumbing issues, and good luck with maintenance. Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else!
Do not move here. The staff seem nice at first but I am often treated with disrespect and underhanded comments now that Ive moved in. The people who live above you are never quiet and the staff do absolutely nothing about it, even though they encourage you to call with noise complaints. In fact, its 11:35 pm on a Monday and the only reason Im awake writing this is because the upstairs neighbors are making a racket. Also, the drier has been out of order for over a year aparently, the carpets in the hallways are terribly stained and gross, people are always writing swastikas and other graffiti in the elevator and the handles on the doors to the outside are broken so when you put ur key in to turn it ur lucky if it takes less than 5 mins to get it back. That is, if you dont break it.
Great place to live, Nice staff and clean place.
Same thing. Isnt this place supposed to be smoke free?
That place sucks. Management sucks. Everything sucks.
Would not tell no 1 to move in here
