During custody battle with ex this place was used as a mediator. The two ladies who insisted that my one weekend a month was enough time for me didn’t even have children and couldn’t comprehend that a man would want to see his children more. These man hating succubuses will have no regret or empathy when they destroy families. They do it with a smile.

Never answer the phone. Been trying to get my medicaid back on for 5 months. Not to mention it got turned off when I was pregnant & 2 months before my due date. Also im 16... I qualify for medicaid since Im under 18. Went up there multiple times & gave them all the documents they asked for. Even went to gateway & re did all applications on there. Nothing has worked & they have been no help. Im 16 & over 20,000 in debt.

The staff is unfriendly, lazy about doing their job and seem to just show up for work, do nothing and collect a paycheck. They always seem to know the best way to get on a persons nerves. Thats about the only talent I can detect so 1 star for being talented.

This place is a joke! They’ll only help you if your skin is the same colors as theirs. I went there three times and never received any help. I kept being told to come back to see if anyone had reviewed my case. I’m a first time mom and have never received health care or anything from the government until I become pregnant. I couldn’t afford my own insurance. I didn’t know that it had been canceled postpartum until I needed, so I could get another procedure done. When I found out, I immediately went up there asking for some sort of help or any information. They wouldn’t help me at all. The person who kept telling me to come back didn’t even file my information come to find out, yet she kept telling me to come back with a small child and told me to come on a day she wasn’t working. That was at the beginning of the year. I had to come up with the money for the procedure, which wouldn’t of been a issues if I wasn’t a stay at home mom. Come to find out months later I could of gotten insurance. But their employees wouldn’t help me or give me any sort of information.

Ridiculous wait time. Big Girl up front is lazy, and dont wont to do nothing but send you to the window. Dont need her in front, if shes not going to do nothing. More Windows needs to be open. And the people needs to be more nicer when talking to you. They really have an attitude. Dont like your job get another one. Lynette Bunch is amazing, and a very hard worker. Shes the best.

I’ve had my case in limbo since November 2019. I have attempted to contact Nijah Clarke multiple times with no response. Her voice box is always full so I can’t leave a message. I tried calling the main office and no one answers (typical) . I finally got the name of her supervisor after Nijah failed to call me for my supposed phone interview yesterday, January 13, 2020. I tried contacting her supervisor, Robin Chambliss to complain and get the issue resolved. No answer and her voice box is also full so I can not leave a message. They updated the online portal that my appointment was missed but she never even attempted contact. They have my correct phone number because I checked the online portal. Now I’m being told my case could be closed due to the “missed appointment” Aka their own negligence. I’m going to see who I can contact above their heads to file a formal complaint.

Receptionist was rude and wouldnt give me an application for medicaid. All I asked for was an application, why the attitude? Trash was where applications should have been and it looked as if it hadnt been cleaned for a while. This was at 9am, on a Monday... am I wrong to think that the lobby should be supplied with necessities so things run smoothly? (for both staff and clients) Or cleaned every once in a while? It obviously hadnt been since at least the week before.The people of this county deserve better, this is a gross overreaction to asking for an application.

I wished the check in windows could be private . Ive listened to countless folks having to tell their personal business out loud . Thats simply not right . When it happens to me I dont even feel like turning around. The other clients eyes be on you which they have no choice . Plus some of the ladies up front can be rude .

Receptionist made it obvious she would rather be ignorant of fact anyone was waiting to be seen. After acknowledging we were there knew none of the answers to any the questions we asked then proceeded to take half hr or so just to come back and say we needed to file a whole different case

Always packed but thats normal for any gov institution. Kind workers even though the people ahead of me where beyond rude to them. I am glad i do not work here cause i would have went off on some of those people. The lady at the window was very kind and helped me in a very timely manner.

Absolute nonsense and foolishness... These people dont have a clue!!! My word... We have been registered foster parents for 2 1/2 years now and have went through so much to help a child. My husband and I have almost given up several times.... They lose paperwork, they misplace records, they lie and tell you things that will never happen. They are so unorganized! I see why there are so many children in the the system! They dont want them to get out... they lose state funding if they place these babies in good homes! My question for everyone... WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS, WHAT ABOUT THE BABIES THAT ARE BEING MOVED AROUND LIKE RAG DOLLS... WHAT ABOUT THEM? They will grow up to have resentment because they will always feel like no one cared enough about them...

Some days there isnt a long wait, and on other days there is. Quiet place. Some of the workers are a little more confused than others. They dont seem to have answers to some questions. Moat of the workers are pretty friendly.

Rudest secretary Ive ever met in my life! For absolutely no reason at all, the first time I let it slide because we all have bad days, but after the next couple of times I filed a complaint with human services, I dont know if she just has a problem with white people or if shes just plain rude to everyone, but thats not the type of people you put at the front desk!

They scare scare me.Was instucted by medicaid, medicare, social security to call them and keep going back to their office to make sure my medicaid was active, qmb was taking care of medicare premiums. Ive never recieved a call back in over a month of leaving messages.I am still being exploited, abused, terrorized with no victim services, while everyone does no good, save for 3-5 charities in 100s of thousands of Georgians.

I can NEVER reach my case worker, her mailbox is always full so i cant leave a message i have been waiting on my food stamps for over two weeks she had 10 days to file it. Let me guess i have to start all over bc of the STATE LACK OF ABILITY TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO THE PEOPLE!! This is unacceptable because then ill have a defacs case because i cant feed my kids!!!!!

While the staff appeared to be working above and beyond the effort you would normally expect from an office person, they seemed disorganized and overloaded. Shame on the State for understaffing and Im sure underpaying the workers that make such a valuable resource to our community possible.

These folks have to deal with all kinds of people during the day. They are doing the best they can considering how many people decide to all show up at the same time. I found its better to get there as soon as they open and make sure you already have your paperwork ready and done. Because alot of people dont and then they want to catch an attitude with the people behind the counter. You cant always blame them because you arent prepared. Now I have had to deal with a rude person on occasion but as soon as I thought about it, I wasnt fully prepared for my turn at the window. So yeah dont always blame them it could be your fault. And no dfcs isnt out to get your kids! Maybe if alot of people would stop doing stupid things to get your kids taken then you wouldnt have to worry then would you???!!! ✌

The workers work against each other an older white lady had straightened out where a friend had left my house home and was dividing the food stamp and Im conservator over older son food stamps but we were trying to get him separated so therefore I had three accounts open because they did not take me off of my friend as a matter of fact they started sending my mail to the address where she was living in Lawrenceville Georgia which is about 90 miles away in my name but I was on hers as a result this young girl not long in the business of social services delete it all three so now I have a handicapped son and myself that has had no help and these hard times for the last two years because this counties DFCS office must be the worst in the state

I was in a foster home and my brother and i was sent $150 each from two family members . We were told that we would get the money after we were realeased from state care. We were realeased but did recive any of the money we were told to be getting. That is wrong and we should receive our money.

Had to wait 3 hours to get service for my mom who put application in a month ago. To find out no one there worked her application. People who work there will stand around and talk with lobby full of clients. They do not take their job serious and not working an application cost someone 2 months of no benefits of insurance and money. They are playing with peoples lives and they not friendly and dont care.
