I went there to get my nails done. After sitting down and noticing the nail tech had on a rebel flag ring, I had to leave. If youre looking for a tolerant and inclusive salon this probably isnt it.

I had to get last minute haircut and was able to get in and see Eugene. Ive been to MANY barbers and salons, but Eugene tops them all. Very old-school and very professional. He cut my hair exactly the way I wanted and the razor shave finish was superb. Will absolutely be going back and cannot recommend Eugene enough!

Anna, crystal and eugene were great! I came in on my lunch break, was quick and painless got me in and out of there. after talking with Anna, I expressed I wanted a perm, she asked me my work hours and offers she would stay late tonight to do my hair, so we started at 6 and didnt leave till 9!

They always can get me in when ever I call last minute. Great stylist and barber. Havent got my nails done there but Im looking forward to it.

I go to this salon because its the only place Ive seen that does undercuts in Rolla, MO - especially for its super cheap price at around just $10.Im not one for making appointments because my schedule just isnt consistent, so I generally try to find places that can accommodate walk-ins. However, I did try to call an make an appointment for the first time to see if I could book a time for a haircut. The owner, Michelle, picked up and was a little rude. I could understand that she was busy and had to work on a client, but the briefness of her answers came off as if she did not care to do my business - as she was booked and couldnt schedule me in. Out of all of the staff, Michelle seems to be the most experienced with all of the work she has posted on their website, but she is definitely the least friendly. I tried to do a walk-in once and when I asked if they had time to fit in a walk-in that day, she simply stared at me and said No.; no sorry, no offer to make an appointment, not even a smile on her face. I had to walk out with an awkward, Ok, thanks.During a slower day, I had a walk-in done by Christina. I showed her a picture of what I wanted done to my undercut. She was extremely nice and had great customer service! However, I wasnt too happy with the result of my cut. The lines werent straight and the design wasnt exactly what I wanted... just really kind of amateurish quality.I decide to try this place again because the Ive seen good work done on many people and the staff are relatively nice.The next time I go back to get another design, I got Queenie - who is actually a nail technician!- to do my hair. I was nervous at first since she wasnt a hair stylist, but she was very precise and made sure every line she did was accurate to the picture I showed her for reference. I am EXTREMELY happy with Queenies work. If this review was just on her, it would be a 5/5 hands down. I come back just to get my hair done by her. However, I dont believe that Shear Perfection as a company deserves anything more than 3 stars.

Best haircut I have ever received. I have a pixie cut that did real weird things sometimes and the man cutting my hair was more focused on me actually loving my hair and what would work instead of rushing, which in a lot of salons is a big problem. Got me in sooner than I expected, and completely fixed the weird thing that me hair did too! Wonderful place for students!

Hit or miss. I used to go to someone who worked here that always did an amazing job cutting my hair. When she moved away I decided to have another one of their employees cut my hair. The first time she cut it she did a really good job, but the second time she just hacked away at my hair and didnt do what I asked. After that experience I decided to go elsewhere. If you want a quick and easy haircut for a decent price this place isnt bad, just dont expect anything amazing.

I received the best haircut of my life here. I have unruly thick, curly hair, which is a challenge to work with. Christina has worked wonders with it; I am truly amazed. I would recommend Shear Perfection to anyone looking for high quality hair services at a great price.

I decided to get my first ever set of acrylic nails from this salon a month ago (Im now a reformed nail biter bc of them) and I wasnt disappointed. Queenie does an awesome job! The place is nice and the staff friendly. A full set was very reasonably priced as was the 2-3 week fill, and the nail care tips for a new acrylic enhancement user were great. Ill be keeping my nails for the foreseeable future and returning to Queenie to have them up kept. She also does nail art and offers gel manicures which are fun to get. They offer wonderful homemade organic hand scrubs for sale too which work well and smell/feel amazing.

WARNING FOR ALL CURLY GIRLS!! - Im sorry to say this is not the salon to go to. Although everyone working there is super nice and professional, and they are very affordable, they clearly did not know how to cut or style curly hair. I should have realized this when my stylist busted out the straightening iron first thing, but since I was getting a style Ive never had before (inverted lob) I thought maybe that was part of it. However, I had to ask her not to razor my hair, and somehow the texturing she did has given me triangle head (all volume on bottom). Also, once I could get home and rejuvenate my usual curls, any inverted angle to the cut is not visible and is way too short due to curl shrinkage. She did try to wet it and style it to check her work, but her technique was only making it look worse, they had no curly hair products and had never used a diffuser. I gave up. She also offered to fix her work once I had had a chance to do my own styling, which I really respect, but Im too scared things will be made worse to go back. I think these guys would be fantastic for 90% of hair types, but people with curly hair steer clear.

The ladies are very polite and know exactly what they are doing. Its the old guy who is a jerk. Started yelling at me because my hair was long and I requested him to cut it in a particular style. Literally snatched the $20 bill from my hand! I know you are old and grumpy but it doesnt mean you take out your frustration on your customers!

FREAKN LOVE THEM.... the owner Michelle was the one who did my hair after I bleached it (which I screwed up terribly) it was a horror scene, worst experience of my life. I came in right before she was closing and she offered to stay and Fix my horrible hair. I told her to do what ever she wanted! She did just that and fixed my hair. Now I am going to be a customer forever! Considering I just moved here and dont know anyone, I had no one to ask where to go for screw ups, i found it on the square. I LOVE MY HAIR!!!! she also cut it because it was fired like rice, now it is so soft and I just cant get over it....EVERYONE SHOULD COME HERE!!!!

I went to this saloon after reading all the reviews from here and wanted to tell everyone who comes here that THIS IS A GOOD PLACE.I went in to get a pixie cut from a little over the shoulder-length,I got an appointment with Samy,and she was AWESOME.She listened to every suggestion I had to make and took care of every detailing of the cut and made sure I was happy with the cut.She was very very friendly and took time to cut my hair and wasnt in a hurry to finish it off.I have had my cut in big brands such as Fantastic Sams and Hait cuttery,and they dont care what you want,they finish your cut within minutes,its as-though they are mowing the lawn of weeds!!!No-care what so ever for any kind of styling!!But here In shear perfection and with this Lady-Samy,it was a different story and happy one at that.You guys/gals should definitely check her out.
