Great service, friendly but not uncomfortably chatty, and sat down as soon as I walked in. I went on a Sunday afternoon and was seated immediately.

I went in to get my hair cut back from below the shoulder to just above it. Never before have I had a barber not ask me about what kind of style I want or part I use, but instead had me awkwardly indicate a spot on the back of my neck and then proceed to cut about an inch above where Id pointed and a good four inches more than I actually wanted, because pointing at the right spot in those circumstances is hard. Its not even a good short cut; the ends are noticeably uneven.I would have been disappointed if this had been a $10-$15 dollar haircut, but they charged me $40 for long hair, which I deeply regret agreeing to pay. Ive been to much cheaper places that, for instance, actually rinsed and brushed out the hair-precut, neither of which happened here. And, obviously, those places also ended up with a better cut.If the only thing you go to a haircut for is to have your hair end up shorter than you started, this place might be okay. Otherwise, I would avoid.

My husband has been a loyal customer for many yrs. I went today for the first time. Its a family shop so i got assigned to the wife figure. After knowing Im from China, she made it very clear from the start how much she dislikes Chinese people, from what we eat, to how bad we made the China town here in Rockville and in flushing NY appear. I know that they are from Vietnam and historically China and Vietnam dont have the best relationship. But we all came to America to follow our dreams, not to carry the burden and especially to seek certain ethnicity out to criticize right in their face and ask them questions, such as why we people do that. I felt I had to defend my people several times during this horrible half an hour appointment. I was fuming inside but she had my hair in her hand, so i kept myself quiet. This is very unprofessional. Maybe the fact that I look young or act very politely, encouraged this type of bullying behavior. But this is not acceptable. Not in America, and definitely not in the service industry. For other Chinese reviewers out there, think twice before going.

What a lovely shop! The business is own/ran by husband and wife. I received the best treatment there then any other shop I have ever been to. The Lady especially made me want to come back. She was funny, attentive, and she even gave me her own opinions. She kept telling me what to do in term of my haircut and it absolutely looked great afterwards. I would highly recommend you bring your family and friends to this great shop and pay these two hard working folks a friendly visit!

Their customer service is very poor. They just demand tip from the customers as if it’s their right!! They prefer cash and argue with the customers to give them cash! In one case, the barber almost tried to check my wallet for cash! NOT professional at all.

Horrible place. walked in with my wife and kids. Both me and my son wanted to get a haircut. The man, who was cutting my hair, definitely did not want to cut it short. I guess the idea is that the longer they leave it, the sooner you come back. The lady, who was cutting my sons hair gave my wife a very very hard time when she asked for a short haircut, repeatedly stopping and warning that hair will stick out. This is the first time I have heard barber shops giving that warning to my son when asked for a short haircut.After the ordeal was over, the man said that I would be charged $20 for my long hair instead of the regular $17. Again this is the first time ever in my life that I have been charged more than the usual amount for long hair. I had my last haircut about two months ago ! AND he never had said anything about this before starting. AVOID, AVOID and AVOID. Very rude, unpleasant. You can get way better service for $17. I regularly go to My Barber Shop in Bethesda and get way way better service there.

Best haircut in Rockville. This is run by a very friendly couple who keep a clean shop in Rockville Town Center. Theyre also less expensive than most other shops. Ive been going here on and off for about 8 years, but in the last few years have only been going here exclusively, as Ive decided that nobody else does a haircut as well. Theyre very hardworking and Im not sure these two have ever taken a day off. You could go somewhere else to get your haircut, but why would you?

I have personally NEVER had such a bad experience at a barber. When telling them I just wanted a beard trim, this woman started rambling on about how it would cost $10 to just go around the ears and the back. To do the actual beard would cost $15 EXTRA!!! Also, she said to me, you really do need a haircut. Later, after trying to leave, the man said to me, You need to come back, it looks horrible! SERIOUSLY?!?!?! DONT come here!!!! WAY to expensive and terrible service!

The person was very rude and blamed me when his dryer broke. He said I broke it and later apologized when I told him that his comment was rude and I didnt like it. I asked him to trim my beard and he didnt do it saying it will cost more as if I couldnt afford. The owners need to hire someone with better human skills.

I have been going to Q L Barber since they were in the old shopping center on Washington Street. They are very nice people and he can even do long beards really well.Google Maps is wrong. This place is very much open for business.
