Our AC unit stopped working late Friday evening and Cool Breeze picked up their phone at 10:30 pm and helped us schedule service for the very next day. Our heat pump gave up the ghost on a very hot Sunday morning; a technician was at our house that afternoon. He diagnosed the problem, but did not have the part available. The part was obtained and installed Monday afternoon. Excellent service all around!

Chris at Cool Breeze came to fix our systems after two of them stopped working on the same night. We had another company come out first(Sila) and wanted us to replace both systems for $25,000 next week. Chris replaced the burnt out capacitors($125 each) and both systems are back to normal same day. Ive used this business a handful of times while Ive owned my home. I was having a heating issue that they were unable to resolve after a few visits. I decided to live with the extra noise my boiler was making instead of continuing to pay for service calls in which the issue remained unresolved. Then a few years later, the noise became more constant and unbearable so I called again. This time they were able to identify the problem, which was an easy fix - replacing my Nest with a non-smart thermostat! However, when the service person gave me the total at the end of the appointment, it seemed rather high so I asked for an itemized bill to see what I was being charged for. The service person said hed have the office email it to me. So I wasnt able to see the bill before paying. It took awhile for the office to email me the itemized bill in which it said there was a charge for a repair. To my understanding, there wasnt a repair actually completed and when I further inquired, they said that it wasnt a repair but the charge was for installing my thermostat. I supplied the thermostat and I was never informed they would be charging to install it, especially after I told the service person Im capable of installing it myself but it would just take me some time and I wouldnt be able to do it immediately. When I explained this to the company, I was told that they always discuss prices of their services prior to completing the service so there is no issue when it comes to payment. This wasnt the case in my situation. I dont think Ill use this company again given what I perceive as shady behaviors - not showing me what I was paying for before expecting payment, taking weeks to provide the itemized bill, billing me for a repair when there was no repair, not communicating the price of their work before doing it, and not offering to rectify the issue and instead saying that isnt their practice. If you end up using them, make sure you continually ask what the price is going to be for their work throughout the appointment and dont allow them to do work that costs more than initially agreed upon until they have your approval. Otherwise, you may be stuck with a large bill that you dont even get to review before payment!

Cool Breeze is absolutely GREAT! I used them in early June 2021 after a friend referred me to them. They saved me thousands of dollars on a furnace replacement that had been recommended by another company. The tech, Alan, also gave me good advice on on-going maintenance. I will definitely use them again.

Im an engineer and particular. Cool Breeze went above and beyond with my install. They provided a new condensate pump, had the transition duct work fabricated at a shop same day, put vibration pads under condenser, flushed the lines and wrapped the line insulation outside in a protective jacket. Their people were very experienced and didnt mind me hovering and asking questions. You can also call and talk to the owner directly.

I have used Cool Breeze for 15 years for all my HVAC needs. Most recently, Brandon came out to service my heating and a/c as I preparing my house for sale. Brandon recommended repairing items that would have come up in a home inspection. Brandon had timely arrival and was very professional. One of the items needed a part to be ordered. The office staff was very cooperative to call and schedule the follow up visit at a time I could work around my schedule. I will continue to use Ron and the team in my next home for sure!

I would not recommend to anyone. The company charged $80 for diagnostics and another $150 for very simple cleaning - $230 later the AC is still not fixed. When we called to follow up the person had a very bad attitude and randomly guessed we most likely had more than one issue and they would charge more to come out again (???). We paid $230 and AC is still broken. Horrible service. Do not recommend. Not sure why this company is still in business with such bad service. One star - Would give zero star if I could.

These guys are great. We recently bought a house that had an older Unico high-velocity HVAC system that was struggling to keep our house cool once it got above 90. We had another company come out who thought the system was on its last legs. Called Cool Breeze and they sent out Chris, who is very experienced with Unico / SpacePak systems and he promptly diagnosed the problem and got everything running perfectly. It’s been a dream having a 70 degree house when it’s 90+ outside. We’ll still have to replace the system at some point in the future, but Cool Breeze saved us $10,000+ for the time being when they could have been like other companies and told us to just replace the system. Highly recommend.

Cool Breeze detected a humidifier failure in my HVAC and installed a new one. The detection was right on the money as I knew the humidifier was pretty old. The installation of the new humidifier was done very professionally and exactly. And the Cool Breeze installer explained it all along the way and was quite friendly. Highly recommended.

Ronen and his assistant were friendly, professional and experienced with a replacement water heater project They also were mindful and respectful to not scuff floors or damage my house as often things like that happens during any given work project or appliance repair. As an area of improvement, I wanted to get more advice/insights about whether or not my house was suitable for tankless water heater options but did not get much an analysis/comparison to help make an informed decision, leading me to go the route of just replacing with a traditional tank model. The new model seems top notch and hope it will last its full lifetime which my original to the house did not but at the same time continue to wonder what if about going the tankless route.

Had a very positive experience with Cool Breeze this morning. I put in a Nest over the summer and it worked fine for AC but when the time came to flip over to heat, the air was not blowing warm. The technician was very capable and systematic in his approach and he explained what he was doing and various aspects of how the HVAC systems work. Will definitely use the same firm in the future.

I had my water heater replaced. they were on time and very polite and easy to work with. We did end up having a unexpected issue with some of the pipes that they had to go and fix which added on a few hours and upped the cost a little bit but it was reasonable and they did a great job. Very professional and friendly, did not give us any problems.

Had a clogged AC drain line, they showed up on time, fixed it promptly, clearly explained to me what was causing the issue and what they were doing to fix it, and gave me advice on some preventative maintenance I can do to help avoid the same issue in the future. Very good experience.

After obtaining several estimates for a new water heater, Cool Breeze Plumbing was the best value. While evaluating the water heaters status, they noticed the water feed was missing a pressure regulator and check value for the home sprinkler system. Wonderful job and tremendous care. I had good fortune with Cool Breeze technicians for my Bryant air handler and compressor service, as well as, a low-boy electric water heater replacement. I tell you, at first I thought they were expensive, but you get what you pay for and its only expensive if you have to do something twice. Both Chris (HVAC) and Raanan (Master Plumber) were great. They inspect, assess and get right to the task, expertly taking care of whatever is necessary. Everything is working well and Im very pleased with the end result.

Our former climate system contractor sent a salesman when we needed a furnace that gave us a hard sell. We resisted, did our research, found our desired brand which led us to Cool Breez. We got a great furnace for a fraction of the cost and now have a new vendor. When our AC went out in late July they were able to get here and fix it that day for a very reasonable fee. And the only reason I mention this surprisingly is because I am sure there are so many people with air conditioning issues in this incredible heat -- that I fully expected that they would not make it on the same day I called! I didnt use them.. because they told me I did not need a new system, and they told me why. (The temperature difference was due to existing ductwork.) Another company told me I needed a new system to the tune of $7500. I am very thankful for their honesty, and when it does come time to get a new system I will definitely be calling!

Are use cool breeze for many years when I lived in Silver Spring. A few years ago I moved to Columbia and started getting my unit serviced by a different company. Turned out that company could not keep a scheduled appointment and they gave me bad advice on several occasions. Since then I have returned to cool breeze and I’ve been very satisfied. The technician who came out this time did a great job and was very helpful. He even spotted some things from my previous company that were incorrect and needed to be fixed. The issues he spotted could’ve caused a major disaster and flood in my basement, so I’m glad he caught it and took the time to explain it to me. Great service. Glad to be back.

I totally recommend Cool Breeze! I have an older HVAC system that was having problems, both of my condensers stopped working. Ive been worried I may need to replace the two condensers, however Alex at Cool Breeze assured me that he could fix them with a few new parts. Since the brand is no longer available, he had to order and retrofit but they are now working great! The cost was super reasonable and the customer service at the company was great. They scheduled me quickly and stayed in touch coordinating my 2nd appointment. Thanks Cool Breeze!!

I called Cool Breeze to inspect my HVAC system, one of their technicians came out and said the system had to be replaced. He quoted me a price slightly on the higher side but still within reason. The technician did not give me any paperwork with details about the unit so I called their office for more information, as this is an expensive purchase and I want to do my research. They repeatedly dismissed my questions about the unit, never returned my calls and were rude about it. Luckily I ended up finding somebody else to do the exact same job for $800 less.

Great service. Team installed new system 1 year ago. Had a power surge this July 4th weekend, AC went down. Ron (owner) was out at the house the next day (Sunday) to inspect. Ron and Alex expidited warranty replacement part with manufacturer (Bryant) on Monday, and worked late to get the system up and running. Great service, highly skilled techs. I contacted Pure Breeze for my carpet in my apartment. I wanted to get it cleaned before I moved out of my unit. They said they could get any stains out including something that has been stuck in my carpets for over a year. I have a toddler and she digs crayon and food and spilled my coffee into the carpet. I tried to cleaned this myself and I just couldnt.So I talked to the owner, Ron and he said he will be able to help me out.The appointment arrival time was at 9 and the technician came by 9:05. Honestly that already put me in a good mood because some cleaning services I have used before are always so late and ruins my plans for the day.He got started cleaning. Took about an hour and half. The carpets looked brand new. Im very happy with the service.Ill definitely consider using this service again. Thanks!
