I love this office. Across the board... scheduling, reception, cleanliness, friendliness, sensitivity, knowledge, understanding, comprehensive billing and payment options. The Dr takes time reviewing procedures and helps set obtainable goals. This group seems more like family from day 1. :)

I started seeing Dr. Douglas many years ago when the dentist on my insurance plan told me I needed $3000 worth of rework on dental work I already had. I went to Dr. Douglas for a second opinion. I cancelled my insurance (and that dentist) and started seeing Dr. Douglas. Ive never needed any of that work and have never looked back. My best friends had a similar experience with that same dentist and insurance and I recommended them to Heritage Oak Dental and they made the switch and also and have been really happy. I totally trust Dr. Douglas and have seen dramatic improvements in my dental health that Ive never been able to achieve with any other dentist.Today I had an emergency and Dr. Douglas was booked, so I had an opportunity to be treated by Dr. Kloss who I also found to be knowledgeable, caring and has a great sense of humor which can reduce anxiety if you have concerns about seeing a dentist. Since Ive been going to Heritage Oak Dental, I actually look forward to going to the dentist.Everyone on the entire staff is kind, friendly, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Went to this place because its right near my house. We moved up here 2 years ago and havent been to the dentist since. Both dentist are goooddd lookin! Dr. Kloss specifically worked on my teeth. He was really funny, kind, caring, and did I mention good lookin? Anyways, my one tooth turned out great and Ill be back next month to get my other tooth done. So yes, I recommend this place! I had a great experience! Oh, and the facility is really modern, spacious, and clean :)

I have been going to this office for over six years. Dr. Douglas is awesome and my dental hygienists have always been amazing. Dr. Douglas provides quality care and operates his office with integrity. The front office has always conducted their interactions with excellent customer service. They operate their appointments well because I have never had to wait a long period of time in the waiting room to be called back for my appointment. Everyone in the office has always been friendly and upbeat.

I just switched to Heritage Oaks for my local dentist and they are amazing! I just got a deep filling redone and Dr. Ben Kloss is amazing! He and his staff made me feel at ease, did the filling quickly and without any pain, including the shot. It was a hard filling to do but they did it expertly and I would highly recommend them to anyone, especially if you are nervous around people working in your mouth. My wife goes here too and I we both love them!

I have never been disappointed by the quality of dental care that Heritage Oak has given me over the last 6 years or so. They run their office efficiently and work hard. I have always been able to get appointments within a reasonable time frame and do not spend much of my time in the waiting room. And the quality of the work on my teeth is better than any Ive had (and I have had a long history of dental problems and have seen many dentists in my life). Dr. Douglas has been able to fix problems for me that other dentists could not. I also appreciate that Dr. Douglas, Dr. Kloss, and the rest of the staff have always kind and respectful. Although I moved further away a year ago I am willing to make the drive to their office. I recommend Heritage Oak Dental to all my friends and family!

My insurance coverage changed so I needed to find a new dentist. I was hesitant since I was happy with my current doctor. After extensive research I called HOD. From the very first interaction, they have been extremely professional and efficient. During my initial consultation, Dr Klos discussed my dental health and explained (potential) issues, etc. I needed to have a bridge replaced. The procedure was painless and already the temp is an improvement over my existing bridge. The staff explained everything from procedure, care, and costs. Very happy with HOD!

My daughters last two experiences at a different clinic were horrible. She kicked and screamed and didn’t even let the doctor go anywhere near her, they didn’t bother trying to make her feel comfortable either which made it so much more embarrassing.Heritage oak dental made my little one feel so comfortable and actually talked to her to let her know what they were going to do and allowed her to feel the tools they were going to use on her. Dr. Kloss replaced my front teeth crowns, and fixed what my previous dentist had done. My first crowns weren’t done correctly, which is what most likely lead to one falling out. These new ones look like my original teeth did and fit perfectly.Dr. Kloss explained the process and everything really well, so I knew what was going on, which helped with my anxiety. I’m glad I researched dentists nearby and saw such good reviews about Heritage Oak Dental. Heritage Oak dental is WONDERFUL! I haven’t been to the dentist in almost 10 years and although my teeth needed some work they are wonderful helping you select the correct process. I am in track to get my clear aligners soon and the process has been a breeze! I was given both traditional braces and clear aligners as an option to straighten my teeth before my wedding and Dr. Douglas was completely up front with me about the timeline. Best dental experience Ive ever had! A nice girl greeted me with a smile, I waited not long in a very nice waiting room, then was called back by another nice girl to take photos and high tech x-rays. They obviously spent a lot of money on very nice equipment and everything is kept extremely clean. The room where the cleaning was done was nice as well with a flat screen the dentist used to discuss my teeth and gums. The dentist was very calm and made everything easy to understand. We talked Jeeps for a bit before we got down to business and I enjoyed that personal touch. I then met my hygienist who was yet another very nice girl. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time and did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. I will most definitely be back for another cleaning with them in 6 months because it felt more like hanging out with a group of friends than going to the dentist. Great people doing a great job within an amazing facility.

The dentist was attentive and caring. I came over the mountain from Reno because of what this office had to offer. I’m glad I did! They put together a treatment plan that worked for my schedule AND my budget, which is important for a small business owner. All of the staff appeared to enjoy what they did and where they work. I’m happy to be giving them my business!

We recently moved to the area and have been looking around for a new dentist. My initial search was not very successful, but after couple months I came across Heritage Oak Dental and could not been happier I found them. I have already had several visits and took the kids in too. The oldest is 9 and he loves it there as well. The youngest is too little yet to tell ;-) and my husband will go there as well just as soon as he would be available. Everyone there is amazing and they all make sure you are well taken care of.

I broke a tooth, and was having horrible pain. I called and they said to come right in. I needed a root canal and even though they were closing early that day, they stayed late to fix me up. They were kind, compassionate, and very accommodating even when it came to payment. Everyone at the office made me feel very comfortable. After a long dental hiatus(7 years) my teeth needed help.i was very nervous coming back after so long and was expecting to pay a penalty of discomfort for my absence. Omg, I just got my wisdom teeth surgery through them!! I was very sad to find out my previous oral surgeon retired, but my friend recommended HOD and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. They are very nice, straight forward, and so good at returning messages. The doctors and staff are so nice I am even thinking of switching dentists to stay with them. LOVE THEM.

My family and I were new to the area and I wanted a dentist the whole family could go to, one that did orthodontics and most importantly had a friendly staff! We move often and I always call 5 or more dental offices and the one that meets our needs and is the most friendly wins!!!

SOOOO, I am going to out myself for this but it has been a hot minute since I have been to the dentist. When you grow up with the same dentist your whole life, who is a family friend, it is hard to find someone to trust. I had also convinced myself that I would have to be knocked out for ANY type of service because just talking about teeth makes me nauseous. I explained this when making my appointment and the woman taking the call was VERY nice and assured me my needs would be met.So I went to my first appointment, in literally a decade, and It. Was. AWESOME! I never thought Id say that about the dentist but it was such a relaxed environment and Dr. Kloss went over every tooth with me, while looking at the x-ray. For someone who was once told they had 8 cavities to fill and their own dentist later saying there was one...trust was an issue. Not with these guys! I could actually SEE what was going on with my teeth.Lastly, the unbearable pain and discomfort I was expecting never came! Even when I had my cleaning the hygienist, Samira, did such a great job but it was virtually pain free.Been back since then for fillings and same experience, if you want you can watch anything you want on TV through headphones although next time I think I prefer to listen to whats going on while they work on my teeth :)

Dr. Douglas and his staff are highly skilled. What I like most about Dr. Douglas is that I never feel like he is over treating me. He always takes the time to show me why I need the treatment he is recommending and gives me options. His office is state of the art and his work is amazing!

UNNECESSARY DENTAL WORKI took my family to Heratage Oak dental for general dentistry. I was told by Dr.Ben kloss that I had reabsorption in one of my crowns and that he needed to pull it out and put in an implant. He told me that he was a dental restoration expert and that Dr. Shane Douglas would be my general dentist. Doctor Ben kloss pressured me to have my tooth removed and an implant put in for over a year. I was told that if I didnt the bone would erode and then I would not have any options. I would have to have a bridge which was far inferior. After a year of being frightened into this procedure I finally consented. My life has been a nightmare ever since. After Shane Douglas placed the metal rod in my face Ben Kloss put in the New crowns to replace my old ones. He took the teeth out of the Box put some glue on them and stuck them in my head. That was it.. He could not dry fit them he did not shape them or do anything to them. One was placed below the gum line and you could see the top Of my tooth the other one was placed millimeters higher So they were completely andUneven.they were crossed over in the back an extremely thick and bulky. Now when I speak I spit I cannot pronounce words properly The teeth are a completely different color than my actual teeth So I dont want to smile but I cant smile because the teacher so bulky that my lip sticks to my teeth and curls under if I do try to smile. And worst of all I am in constant discomfort there is extreme pressure in my bone and in my teeth. It is constant torture all night and all day its difficult to sleep I wake up in the middle of the night and cry. They took absolutely no responsibility for any of it in fact they tried to make me feel as if it was my fault. I have seen 5 dentists and the Roseville Granite Bay area and they are all horrified and want to know who did this to me. I went to Dr.Bannai Who is wonderful and he shaped them and them for me a little bit more bearable but it is still constant misery.I filed a complaint with Delta dental and when they requested that the Heritage oak dental refund my co-pay Heritage Oak filled an appeal! After ruining my life they wouldnt even give me my co-pay back! Delta dental Sent me to a dentist for evaluation and he was the angriest at what Doctor Ben kloss and doctor Shane Douglas had done to me. I was told that the dental work was in fact completely unnecessary the dentist said it was a tradgedy.Delta dental refunded the cost of My crowns so that I can have them done by a competent dentist. But the metal rod that Shane Douglas placed in my head will torture me for the rest of my life. Shane Douglas and Ben Kloss are incompetant, dangerous and heartless. They do not care about their patients. Be more careful than I was keep yourself and your loved ones far away from these so called Dentists.In response to the reply from the dentists office this is false I was made to pay in full Over $4000 up front before any work was done. When I complained about the dental work they told me I owed them $600 more for missed appointments for my son. Appointments that I never made and was not notified about. Rather than showing compassion or taking any responsibility for the appalling damage they did to my teeth and my lifeThere reponse was to try charge me more money And apparently wreak more havoc and my life by trying to send me to collections. I never heard a word about owing them more money until complained. What youhave done is shameful and sicking. I trusted you both!! It was truly the worst Mistake I have ever made! You should both lose your medical license.

Best cavity fill I’ve ever had!

The dentists come across as caring and honest. The child dentist is pushy and wanted me to start braces on my kid, like that day, even though I told him we had an ortho already. The office staff are extremely rude and the way they bill for things is deceitful. Watch out or you will have huge bills.

After having numerous traumatic experiences at dentists throughout my adolescent years, I have always been terrified of the dentist. Dr. Kloss and Dr. Douglas, along with all the wonderful support staff and assistants, helped to put my mind at ease and never went faster than was comfortable for me. Originally meeting Dr. Shane he was cool, kind, and straight to the point, he has a great dental plan for individuals like me so I can speak to that. I had been looking for a dentist that would fill the space that my old dentist had and that was hard to find because Dr. Ortner was great as well anyways we had immediate rapport and I know he is a good dude with integrity and ambition as well as an awesome team to keep everything glued together theyre all good. I have had great experiences with Heritage Oak Dental. Dr. Shane did my wisdom teeth and was very thorough and was on top of his game, everything went great I’d highly recommend Heritage Oak, it’s nice to a group of productive members of society taking on a very important portion of healthcare for their clients, thanks everyone glad to be a part of it.

Before coming in to Heritage Oak Dental, I was in an extreme amount of pain and due to the fact that I was having trouble finding an office that would cover my root canal thru my insurance, I was living with the pain for months. Needless to say, I was miserable., But thanks to the clean, modern facilities kind, friendly staff and the timely, very professional services of Dr. Douglas my mind was quickly put to ease. I really feel like a joint effort between all involved set me back on the right track for restoring my oral hygiene and I recommend Heritage Oak Dental to anyone in the area.

Dr. Kloss has an awesome “bedside” manner. I have a lot of anxiety about dentist visits due to some PTSD from a handful of terrible experiences when I was younger. I haven’t been to a dentist in my entire life with his level of care, concern, and communication. I felt more at ease than I ever have. On top of that, the possibility was on the table of needing a root canal done with a crown, based on the X-ray exams. After Dr. Kloss got going, his clinical review of my teeth and the damage done from an old filling revealed that he was able to do a filling instead of the other possible outcomes. That saved me a lot of grief and helped significantly with my anxiety. In addition, he was honest and did what was best for me and my wallet, saving me hundreds (if not $1000). I’ve been around dentists in the past that try to push every product and possible billable work on the patient. This was not the case here. He was very interested in doing what was right, fair, and necessary for me. This type of integrity will keep me coming back for additional products and services, and they didn’t have to sell me on a single one of them. Taking care of the customer/patient and giving them a positive experience is all the “cross-selling” needed. His team of assistants are equally attentive and caring. I had the pleasure of working with two of them during my first and second visit. The front office staff are also very nice, helpful, and accommodating. I will be telling everyone I know in the area about what a great job you guys have done for me.

Nice and neat, play area for kids, free coffee and water, toys for kids including styrofoam airplane gliders with plastic propellers, heck yes! One assistant used an awesome trick to get my young children to cooperate and I use it at home to great success!

From the moment you walk in, the service, the people, the treatment is top notch. No dental anxiety in here!

Doctor Kloss was my dentist, and he and I agreed that I didnt need to be numbed for some of my fillings, and it didnt hurt at all. When he did numb my lower left jaw, couldnt even feel it. Hours later, I still feel great, and I am very happy about my experience here. :)

Dr. Shane Douglas has, without a doubt, removed my fear of going to the dentist. To spare myself the embarrassment I had avoided going to the dentist for nearly 10 years. I knew my all nighters fueled by Red Bulls was catching up to me. After trying a few dentists over the last year, including another in the area, I was always in extreme pain or embarrassed by other staffers reactions.Not here. Dr. Shane and the staff have been consistently focusing on my goal of a healthy smile; not on how I looked walking in. Dr. Shane took the time to answer all of my questions, and was the first Dentist to explain why my teeth were so sensitive, even when numbed.Ive had multiple visits to Heritage Oak Dental over the last year and I am so excited to feel confident when I smile. I was able to feel at ease during my procedures while taking advantage of sedation dentistry (laughing gas) in addition to Novocain. I was even able to finish my Netflix series while it all took place.As a programmer and developer I was excited to see their use of modern technology. A perfect mix of traditional and modern. 5 stars without a doubt - the entire staff have been nothing but focused on my recovery plan, and its worked.

I have to say I absolutely fell in love with Heritage Dentals beautiful, state of the art and clean office. The staff is super friendly & welcoming. Lindsey (hygienist) was fantastic, super kind. She provided comfort and safety, with the best care for me. She made my visit very enjoyable! I also met w/ Dr. Ben Kloss who popped in to greet me and looked at my teeth, he explained things so well. And I enjoyed working with Cara who took photos and Xrays of my teeth, she made things so fun! Great Team at Heritage Dental, Fantastic place to establish your care and trust with all your Dental needs.

I am a new patient to Heritage Oak and I have nothing but good things to say. The environment is very professional and relaxing. I had my first visit on a Monday and needed a cavity fixed. They were able to get me in on that Wednesday. I didnt feel a thing while having my cavity filled and I was able to watch any show I wanted on Netflix while Dr. Kloss did the work. So far I am very satisfied with everything about the office.

I just met Ben Kloss today for my first visit at this office. He was very personable and I greatly appreciated the time he took to go over my xrays and talk through a treatment plan. I’m actually looking forward to getting work done with this team. The staff was very warm and friendly and the office was extremely clean and comfortable. I will post an update after my next visit when I’ll actually have work done.Update: had work done today, and it was the best experience I’ve had being in a dentist’s chair. Dr Kloss was engaging and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I had 4 fillings and felt no pain at all, not even the needle. I’m looking forward to getting my other work done and would definitely recommend others to this office.

A well-kempt facility with professional, courteous staff. I foolishly waited until my early 30’s to get my wisdom teeth removed. Dispite the train wreck they faced in my mouth, the extraction and healing process went well.

Him and his wonderful staff always calm my dentist anxiety! Lol! Blair at the front desk is always super helpful and friendly along with the other staff.
