They looked up the lawn mower part (armature magneto) I needed. It was a bit confusing because the manufacturer had changed the part numbers needed. I paid over $50 for the part. I tried the part and it didnt work. I took it back to the store and was told they couldnt refund or replace it. It would have been nice to know that store policy prior to the completion of the purchase because I would have just put that money to a lawn mower rather than a chance that this was the correct part.

This place is honest to god the best store in Rockford for lawn and garden. Trevor Nicholson is always helpful and knows his stuff. I’ve never had a bad customer experience. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

I was in in the market for a new lawn tractor. After doing my research, I settled on a Husqvarna tractor. I dealt with Trevor Nicholson, who is low-key and knowledgeable. He told me if I could pay in cash, hed give me another discount off the sales price, and that discount, combined with fair offer he gave me on my trade-in, made for a great deal. Stay away from the box stores for your lawn equipment, and go to a place where you will get just as good a deal and great service. There is a reason Nicholson has been in business as long as it has.

First time in there, amazed at the selection of parts and tools for the garden, also saw they have safety harnesses for working up high.

Poor excuse for a lawn and garden center would not help me find a cable without the model number when I told them it just needs to look similar and I can mcgyver the rest 3 guys couldnt go in the back to check for something similar? they said they can order it. so can I ?. Ive had a few good experiences over the years but its usually buying off the shelf. Getting equipment worked has been about 50% success rate and a long, long time until the equipment is ready. This last bit of shop work was 2 visits that meant charged $ both times and the snowblower still doesnt run. No you cant start it here because we drained the gas out of it should have been a clue. I should have just bought new at Menards.

This store has been around forever, and its where we always go for our gardening tools. They offer good quality tools at reasonable prices. The employees are very knowledgeable and friendly.

They wasted my time for four weeks, their in no rush to help you get your product back. I was told 1-2 weeks not four. He only told me what i already knew. He adjusted a screw and 45 dollars later nothin. Trash. What a waste of money.
