Beware if you have good insurance! They will say you need all of this work done, when in all actuality you don’t. They make you pay out of pocket fees at the office before they even know what the insurance will cover. They have been giving us the run around for weeks for a refund because we were overcharged. Our insurance company called Aspen to get to the bottom of the situation but was told they’re too busy and was given the fax number. I was also charged for a surgical extraction when it was just a regular extraction. This is ridiculous and hopefully this will be resolved soon! I will not return and I do not recommend!UPDATE: I will now be getting my attorney involved! This is ridiculous, can’t even keep up with their own lies. They’re quick to take your money, but when it’s time to refund it, there’s a problem. I’ll get this resolved one way or another!

I was referred here by a friend and I’m glad I took her suggestion I found out some things that was going on with me that Rockford Dental didn’t catch and I was going there three years prior. The staff is so friendly and don’t make you feel awkward in any way. They explain everything to you they are upfront with what’s going on with you answer all questions and make you a priority. I just got some work done I was so nervous the day of my procedure but that went away when the Dr started talking to me. I am happy with my results. Dr Williams did a excellent job. If you are looking for a good dentist Aspen Dental is the place for you.

There were a lot of treatment suggestions that were simply not necessary. The people are very nice, but it seems like Aspen pushes treatment to sustain their profitability. Also, my previous dentist was able to cover certain treatments with insurance, but Aspen was unable to. Im sorry for the nice people that work there, but this business practice will eventually fail because word will spread about the unnecessary treatments that get pushed and the lack of working with insurance for the good of the patrons/customers.

I dont think anyone is ever excited about going to the dentist, but Maddie, the dental assistant was very kind and knowledgeable. Her enthusiasm for her job is evident. Dr. Cosic was very cordial with great communication skills and I felt gave me an accurate evaluation of my situation and provided good options. Definitely will return.

I Loved the new technology and how they explained everything they were about to do before they did it and why. Customer service was excellent.

I went here, was in a lot of pain, dentist kept offering me expensive solutions i couldnt afford. Although he admitted there were cheaper procedures available but he would not do them. He offered no prescription to help with infected gums and pain, after probing my mouth and making symptoms worse, i left in more pain than i came in with!!! Ill go somewhere else. All the reasons people fear dentists here. Total waste of time!

A great experience as always. Everyone is so professional and lighthearted, easing the mind of someone who has dental anxiety. Monica was great with my son and he just loves Dr. Vanja too! It’s great to have a dental office that actually cares about their patients and takes care of them as if they were their own family.

I loved how friendly the staff was, the high tech equipment was excitingly flattering and state of the art. The Dr was highly informative, very friendly and funny, came up with the same plan Id had in mind but hadnt even fully spoken out yet except removing perfectly fine wisdom teeth. But when I was done with my check up and meet with the receptionist to plan out my treatment plan, benefit coverage via insurance, and what was expected of ME financially... Things became quite fishy! My insurance covered the check up fully. My plan included a future cleaning, extraction of a stubborn baby tooth, 2 crowns for 2 molars, removal of 2 wisdom teeth that Im not agreeing to, which came to a total of $8,858. Even with my insurance and discount, that came down to $4,731 for the future treatment plan and mind you this doesnt include the braces that are planned for after all of this treatment. Thats obnoxiously high! And Im not paying $50 for fluoride varnish. I only use natural products, period. Ill be finding another dental home after my next 2 appointments. The prices are whats forcing me to leave, and a few decisions that I dont agree with.

Aspen Dental is courteous and efficient. My experience was pleasant, and the hygienist was gentle. I highly recommend for a healthy smile!

I want to give a shoutout to the entire staff at Aspen Dental in Rockford, from Maddie and Steph the 2 assistants, Monica the hygienist and Dr Mantinaos, Dr Austriaco. I wasnt really looking forward to having teeth pulled and dentures made because of the bad experience with my last dentures. These people I mentioned have made this a pleasurable experience with their attention to details and wonderful personalities. I am truly excited about my new smile to come. I would highly recommend Aspen Dental to anyone looking to have any dental work done.

Disheartening to know I need a root canal, but was treated well. First visit to this location for just a checkup and they worked with me when taking X-rays since I have a hard time with those. When I had stuff done at other locations Aspen Dental did a good job making it as painless as possible.

They were nice, but they were more interested in selling work than taking care of the patient.

Excellent service, and nobody gave me hard time for not flossing as much as I should. They did tell me to floss more, but they werent mean about it or anything.

Absolutely loved my experience here. The doctors, Dr. Vanja and Dr. Dunja, and hygienist, Monica, are very thorough with their exams. They all made me feel very comfortable. The front staff, Shauna and Nicole, were great they broke down my treatment and cost and got me in for my procedure in a very timely manner, even went the extra mile and helped me with pharmacy details 😀.

Even with covid, everyones bedside manner are impeccable. The explanations given were thorough and answered all of my questions. My only request for improvement is at as your are leaving - no one said bye, it was awkward just getting up and leaving after being told youre done checking out. Just felt off.

I hated the dentist so much I refused to go for 15 years. We I went to Aspen dental in Rockford they made me feel welcome and did everything to make me feel comfortable. The dentist are great at this location and very friendly. When I went in for my 6 month cleaning (8/24) my hygienist was super friendly and through out the appointment checked on me to make sure everything was ok. I hope to get her every time I need a cleaning! Keep up the great work!

I had my wisdom tooth pulled on 4/17/21 by Dr. Cosic at the Walton location in Rockford she was so nice to me and had my tooth out within a few minutes and it didnt hurt at all ❤ only problem theyre kinda expensive but she was the only dentist in Rockford that was able to pull my tooth out

Went in with a very bad tooth abscess in a lot of pain. Received xrays, spoke with the hygienist and consulted with the dentist. Then asked to pay for future work that needed to be done for my plan of care. The abscess or pain itself was never addressed. And I have to go to work like this. Luckily I have a great PCP who I called and he questioned why they did not prescribe an antibiotic to treat the inflammation/pain. I’m picking up my antibiotic as we speak. I will not be returning to Aspen Dental. That 3-hour time spent did not make me feel as if I could trust these individuals with my care. I’d rather explore other dental offices from this point. I’ve also read their reviews they’re all about the same. Terrible. I was hoping that that wouldn’t be the case. I think it would be best if I get treated in the suburbs where I’m from. The care in Rockford, Loves Park, Machesney Park, Roscoe and all of these little cities are sub-standard. I’ll be heading towards the suburbs for my care where my family is from; La Grange, Hinsdale etc. Much more personable care.

This is the most bull place to go to. I wanted a baby tooth pulled im 43 years old no adult tooth ever behind it ... they wanted to charge me over 1600 4 the tooth 2 be pulled .. its a simple extraction bc they wanted to do a deep cleaning FIRST ...im in pain.... i also have a discount plan which didnt qualify 4 no reason givin thats 3 time s the price that i paid at other dentist 4 the same procedure..... they r charging like they are a great establishmrntGo elsewareTrash

All I can say is amazing!!! Went in for an exam a few weeks back and was told i needed a deep cleaning and fillings. Just left after the deep cleaning and my teeth/gums look great the DH Monica is great very gentle and caring. I cannot recommend this place enough definitely will be getting all my dental work done here!

I am unable to give no stars, so that is why they receive only one. We went in for exam and x-rays, as this place wouldnt let you get a cleaning without speaking to the financial person. If you are looking for great, personalized care, stressing on the word care, please go elsewhere. This is a boilerplate operation and only one x-ray tech showed any compassion or caring for her patient. The dentist wasnt bad, but everyone kept referring to needing to speak to the financial person before even a cost range could be given or future care outlined. The cleaning was in the absurd range. My mouth and gums were so sore from the x-rays from one tech shoving the film contraption in my mouth, that I was in pain for days. Need I say that we will NEVER go back for a cleaning?

Was very thankful to get in, most DDS closed. My 1st visit there. They helped me as much as they could considering the limited use of equipment at this time. Will definitely return when times are better.

Went in for an emergency appointment and not only did they help me with my emergency but they did an exam and set me up on a treatment plan. They reviewed the plan with me and they were patient with me asking questions. When it came time to check out I was given the payment information up front for my services that are needed in the future. Everyone was super friendly and had great customer service. I did not feel like a number it felt as if they really cared.

Im somebody who has generally never enjoyed or wanted to go to the dentist. Im also somebody who let things get too far out of control with problems with my teeth.I decided to take a leap a faith and see the ladies over at Aspen and Im very happy I did. I was taken in right away for a dental emergency and becoming a new patient was very easy.They broke it down for me in a way that wasnt overwhelming and made me feel comfortable and calm about what I was about to go through procedure wise. The billing and insurance process was also handled very professionally and explained in a way I could understand fully.At the end of the day they made me feel good about coming back to the dentist after years of neglecting it. Im looking forward to getting the rest of my work done with them and will definitely be coming back as a long-term patient.

They have been great. I am a over the road truck driver. I needed new dentures and they work around my crazy schedule. I could call them one day before I would be in town and they worked me in. I have had to just walk in a few times and they took great care of me. They have even helped when I had to find another Aspen Dental when I was not close to them. So happy with all they have done for me.

I just had a deep cleaning and a tooth extraction today and I was very nervous and scared. But the staff there was very friendly and made sure that I felt no pain. They were great. Thank you so much!

Excellent friendly service and super professional. They communicated with me and helped me schedule an appointment that worked with my schedule even though I work 68 hour workweeks. They were great about breaking down the Costs after insurance and made sure I understood prior to the service. They even had a TV in front of the chair with HGTV on keeping me occupied! I travel for work and they have multiple locations and transferring is super easy so I will be using them only in the future!

The staff was very accommodating,I was able to get a same day appointment however, when presented with a plan going forward I was not given all available options. I spoke to numerous people who were given different price points... These are all people who had similar circumstances as mine. I would recommend Aspen and going forward I will make sure I do more research beforehand.

It took a long time for them to get me in; I think they forgot about me for a while there. It seems as though theyre not interested in doing fillings anymore if they cant get you into a $3000 - $5,000 Crown they dont want you wasting their time.

The front receptionist is very rude. She told me it doesnt matter my scheduled time of appointment when I get seen it matters what I come in for... I waited over a half hour to be called and people were showing up after me getting in before me. I would not recommend them at all unless you want them to steal your time.

Jackie and Cynthia, the most beautiful sisters, are full of energy and make every visit as enjoyable as a dental visit could be. They are very professional and thorough. Dajana, the office manager, is very kind and compassionate. I also had the pleasure of meeting both doctors at the office who are very knowledgeable and detail oriented. Surely, this is one welcoming and professional office.

The moment I contacted this office, I knew I would be in good hands. After my first visit there was no doubt about it. This is an absolutely amazing establishment. The entire staff is warm, welcoming and friendly. They were constantly checking up on me to ensure my comfort. As far as the Dentist goes...I couldnt have dreamed of a more perfect example than Dr. Cosic. I had to have 6 teeth extracted and she talked me through the entire process. If you are anything like me then you have an innate fear of Doctors as a whole, this specific location of Aspen Dental took that fear away. Highly, HIGHLY recommended.

Dr. J. Mantinaos is an amazing dentist.THE BEST!Absolutely great services provided by him and his staff and totally cost efficient . I went to this company looking for a dental solution and they were more than that. The doctor stayed late for me and provided phenomenal dental work with no pain. His assistant Jessica and the Dr kept me in such good spirits while awake for the procedure . Again this was even cost efficient and well worth every penny. Thank you Aspen Dental and staff.

Needs to take a costumer service classes, extra rude and denied service due to appointment mess up on their end twice, appointment card to prove, dont mean to sound rude or ignorant but my husband and I felt judged and treated unfairly... Do better next time please, because you wont get the people who walked away like we did... We took our service to a different location who were very understanding unlike you guys, Sorry not sorry!

My spouse had dentures that needed replaced. The office in Rockford was very helpful in getting the new dentures in a reasonable length of time. After receiving the dentures on a Tuesday, we had to schedule an appointment on the Thursday after to have the dentures tweaked. That appointment was only about 5 minutes from the time we walked in the office til we left. Everyone at the office is friendly and helpful with any questions we may have had.

Horrible company and horrible experience. I just wanted a simple cleaning before deploying overseas and they insisted on all types of exams and x rays. After all of that was done insisted I needed all of these specialty treatments costing thousands of dollars and a deep cleaning all not covered by my insurance! When I asked if they were going to give me the cleaning I requested when I made the appt they refused!!! Never use these people and if you do ensure you get what you want in writing before starting anything
