I called to get more information, as I have moved recently into the area. The lady who answered was extremely rude to me. Will definitely not go there!

I was admitted with extreme vitals. I received excellent treatment. I was very impressed with my care for the entire time. I was in the hospital for a month. The staff went well beyond what I expected.

This is not a hospital for Psychiatry. If you are Caucasian, be prepared to be abused by 50% of the African American Staff. You will be discriminated against and treated badly. The majority of the staff are more concerned about staying on Facebook and are not involved in any aspect of treatment other than torturing the person who is being treated or listening to a boring focus groups. You are giving medications that make you sick with no help from staff to clean up, but only ridiculed. If sick and hungry after the fact, dont expect to get a meal accordingly. You will get an education about how the hospital cant afford snacks and how rough the economy is. As I stated before, this is not a treatment facility, its a torture chamber. I voluntarily went in and was not released. I was forced to spend 5 days and my diagnosis was based on a fabricated story from uneducated family members who one has a major disorder, but pays off the judicial system. It amazes me that the courts are paid and trusted to hide the real problem with society, and doctors support these people. I was not given a choice to defend myself, and told take the medications as prescribed or else. The doctor did not communicate with my counselor/nurse who did my mental evaluation a week prior and cleared my mental ability. My medications had to be all changed again and re-evaluated. The doctor in charge needs to be evaluated because he was only forcing pills and not explaining properly. He was very uncaring and selfish. I am on a fixed income and had to pay a $40 prescription for tobacco patches that I would not use at home. He did not listen to any concerns, did not go over side effects and sent me home sick. Total waste of time and malpractice is a major issue!

Perhaps they should be more polite and not over medicate people with unneeded shots.
