Would give 0 stars if that was an option. Dont waste your time or your money! Every time I called to speak with my Psychologist she was never available! My next appointment was a whole month after my first appointment, All for them to cancel my appointment because the Psychiatrist called out. I definitely wont be continuing treatment here and I dont recommend this place to anyone that wants to seek treatment in a efficient, Timely Manner!

This place has the worst communication and billing.We were having trouble with my son acting out in school. Our school recommended seeing a Catawba Mental Health ?Professional? during school. When we initially met there was no discussion of amount charged if not covered by insurance. They met with my son 8 times and then billed us for over $700.00. When I inquired about what was covered by insurance the billing dept. could not even tell me what the insurance paid. Stating dont you get a statement from your insurance? During my sons care there was never any communication about what we could be doing to help, what he should be doing to help. NOTHING!! When I asked where my moneys worth was at I was told well it looks like she made great progress and had some great interventions for the record there was never a change in, my sons behavior. From what I gather this company is about the money.. Just look at the Reviews. they dont care about the customers or making the company any better or user friendly. It is very likely that this is not even reviewed by them. I am a customer service specialist striving to make my employer great in the eyes of customers. Catawba Mental Health has their eyes on the $$$$$.This experience could have been great even with the kindness of 1 employee but I have yet to find a caring employee there.

Many times we use words like incompetent loosely, but I am speaking in literal terms when I say this group is dangerously incompetent in every aspect of the practice. I encourage you to seek alternative counselors and/or psychiatrists for your child.

This place is absolutely horrible!!! Do NOT go there. I took my child one time and they were suppose to call me back to make another app. and that never happened and then they sent me a collections bill a year later saying I owe them money but never did they call me or send me a bill in the first place. I had to give one star to post this but if I could give them zero I would.

The counseling is awful. The first session I mentioned what my job was, at the time. The counselor then went on to say she worked a similar job at an upscale business. Went into detail. This went on continuously, at every session. She would input her own issues that somehow thinks this would benefit my wellbeing.Theres several things of my own life that I wouldnt mention because I didnt feel comfortable with someone so unprofessional.

Can never get through to anyone when I call.

I wouldnt give this office any stars at all if Google would allow it. ALL STAFF have terrible attitudes and will give you the run around and transfer you to several different people just to get YOUR OWN RECORDS. I will NEVER recommend this to office to anyone. You would think theyd be a little more understanding, patient and/or kind being that theyre dealing with people who have mental illnesses....they just make it worse. Horrible staff. Get it together.

I love this place. Im only a freshman and my Theripst had been so helpfully i started therapy when I was in 7th grade. I had it when i was 7 until 8. Then when I transfer school 3 months after started 8th grade I had gotten new therapy. I just want to say to the 2 therapy I had and I have now. Thanks so much yall Im not going to say they named but they know who I am. Thank yall for helping me out and thank yall for helping with my behavioral. In 7th grade and about 3 months before i quit the middle school. My 1st Theripst I was a little trouble maker I been since 6th grade but like I would put my head on the table and wouldnt talk and she came beside me cause she change her room i think its cause if we would have bad behavioral then she come beside us and try and talk to us. Some days I will stop my behavioral and other times I will not. My 2nd Theripst if you dont know what they are then you can ask her. Basically they act like ABA I dont know too much about it I know a little about it people who have different needs have it. And so they had acted like it because instead of making the problems even worser they talk to you in a nice tone and tell you to stop or to not do that or to do it. It will be so nice to meet my 1st Theripst again just to tell her the thinks i had worked on and the progress and the some of the struggles Im still facing that probs will not be gone. AGAIN SO YALL 2 THINKS FOR BEING THERE FOR ME.

I was referred here from urgent care to help with my anxiety and adhd. When I called I told the lady what was going with me she said “we don’t treat adhd or anxiety here.” I said “ I was referred by the hospital how do y’all not treat adhd or anxiety”? She said give me you name and number and I’ll give you a call back and let you know. I never received a call back and the women obviously didn’t know what she was doing.

I was on hold for an hour with no response or check in, glad it was a crisis moment!!!

Literally the worst place they could send anyone that suffers from mental illness.. South Carolina needs to get it together on getting people proper help with serious mental illnesses.

Staff so lazy they cant even come into the office. Thought I was there for a face to face Dr. appointment. Nope some kind of teleconference thing. IT took so long to fix the issues my child didnt get to see anyone.

Joke of a counseling service..found out the counselor was simply telling my 11 year old (who suffers from severe anxiety, depression, pica, and threatens self harm) to just listen to your mother..you know youre too old to act like this.

Uncooperative and unprofessional staff.
