This place is awesome. Sarai and Dr. Culp (and any other staff member I have crossed paths with) have done nothing but make me feel comfortable while being there. They make sure to answer any questions and explain the recommendations they give you. I’m so glad I decided to make the switch and try a new dentist office. Been to a few dentist before and Dr Charlie is by far the most honest Ive been to. I have an over 25 year old bridge that the military put in. I’ve been a patient with Dr. Culp and his office for nearly a year. He is very friendly, patient, and confident. He makes the environment very easy to have a back and forth conversation with him about what options you have, and you don’t feel intimidated by medical jargon because he is always willing to explain things thoroughly. I moved from downtown Charlotte to Rock Hill and although I adored my Charlotte dentist I did not adore the commute and how difficult it was to get on his calendar! Due to a childhood injury, I’m missing one of my front teeth, so for much of my life I used a retainer with a false tooth. On one occasion it broke and I tried to make an appointment with my nearly lifelong dentist to consult for a bridge or implant but received a lot of pushback. Fortunately, my mother knew the late Dr. Culp and gave him a call, and he squeezed me into the schedule that very same day - and I’ve been going here ever since (7 years!!)Ultimately, I was able to get an implant and Dr. Charlie did such an amazing job on the crown. The shape, color, and fit are impeccable. It is in the front of my mouth and no one can tell!!It’s truly just a great group of people and you can tell they genuinely care about their patients. I even drive from Charlotte now to come here. #worthitUsually you hear people say how much they dread going to the dentist, but thats never the case coming here.The office staff are consistently warm and welcoming; Marsha always greets you with a kind word and a smile (evident even with the masks!😉). The Dentist has never been my favorite place. I started going here after my daughter recommended this office. Everyone is very nice and makes me feel very comfortable while I am there. We can’t begin to express how grateful we are for our experience at Culp. We have a son with autism and severe anxiety who had been to “other” dentist 3 times for fillings and they couldn’t help him. 40 minutes this morning and he was in and out with no pain and no anxiety. It was a delight from start to finish. The office staff, the assistants, the communication leading up the appt with tips and ideas to make it easier…I couldn’t be happier.

What an awesome visit (1st time) I had today at Culp Dental! I went for my 6 month cleaning and Sarai was fabulous!! Beyond her personality, which is amazing, she knows what she’s doing. You can tell by her confidence and demeanor that she’s more than capable at her job. If you have questions, she explains in a way that isn’t scary or threatening. She gives you all the information you need to make an informed decision. Dr. Charlie is young, but extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He makes sure you know where you are and how to get where you want to be with your dental health. I had my first visit at Culp Dental yesterday. Everyone was extremely nice and friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. My hygienist was Sydonie and she did an excellent job! Since it was my initial visit she had an assistant come in and help her chart my existing dental work. Then they charted my periodontal probings and my gum recession. Dr. Culp came in after and checked my teeth and discussed the wear that I have due to grinding. He was very friendly and personable.My husband had his first appointment several weeks before mine. He said that, it was the most positive dental experience I have ever had. He saw Dr. Culp for a problem area on his first visit. He went back a couple weeks later and had his X-rays and his teeth cleaned. Wendy was his hygienist and he liked her very much. My husband hates all medical and dental appointments, for him to have such positive remarks is a huge compliment.I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. They are the best !

I am a person who has high anxiety about going to the dentist. Numerous bad experiences for myself and also my children have made dental visits a nightmare. After years of no dental insurance we finally were offered coverage but that doesn’t mean excellent dental care. After a year of avoiding the dental office that took our insurance, I decided to start looking for a place I would be comfortable going, insurance coverage or not.After reading numerous 5 star reviews and also knowing the reputation of this long time practice, I made an appointment with Culp Dental. Everyone is so nice and caring. I never once felt like a cash register. Dr. Culp is so positive and explains all the options. It truly is like being among friends.I must say my personal hygienist Sydonie is pure sweetness. She is so concerned about making her patients comfortable and well taken care of. It’s wonderful knowing she cares as much about my health and the health of my mouth as I do. Or more actually. She immediately felt like a friend. I never thought going to the dentist could be fun but she keeps me smiling!!

When I first started going to Culp dentistry, Dr. William Culp was doctor there but unfortunately for us, he has gone to be with the Lord now. But, thank God for Dr. Charles Culp. (Williams son) He is awesome! The entire staff is amazing! They truly make you feel like family and they make you laugh. I guess thats why I can never leave them. No matter how far I have to drive. I love going to Culp Dental! I have been coming here since I moved to Charlotte, and it’s worth the drive down. Each time I come in for an appointment, it feels so comfortable and friendly. I have had a fake tooth in the front of my mouth for just over a decade (using a bridge not implant) and the glue wore off and it fell out shortly after I moved here. In a panic not having a dentist yet, a colleague recommended I check out Culp Dental to fix it! I am not an ideal candidate for an implant so Charlie created this much sturdier bridge for my fake tooth and I haven’t doubted it’s stability since he put it in for me. It looks so good and no one can tell it’s fake 😁

This is the best dentist office I have ever been to. I have a serious phobia of the dentist and 6 years ago a co-worker referred me to Culp Dental and told me that not only would they be able to set my mind at ease, but they would also work with me to make going to the dentist something I looked forward to. She was absolutely right. I went from being someone who goes once every ten years to someone who goes faithfully every 6 months. Sydonie and Ann have been absolute blessings in my life... That may sound crazy to say about your dental hygienist but in my case its true. These ladies have absolutely met me where I was and helped me get to this point. Culp Dental has kept my teeth and gums nice and healthy, and has given me a reason to smile every time I come in.

The whole office is extremely friendly - from the receptionist who handled the scheduling, to the hygienist, to Dr. Culp himself. My hygienist, Sarai Sim, did a great job. My cleaning was quick and painless. Dr. Culp is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend.

Ive been a patient for a while now. I am very pleased with the service provided. Dr. Charlie Culp and my hygienist, Sydonie are both fabulous! Sydonie is thorough, clean, and observant in her work. She is also very kind, understanding, and easy to talk to. When I come to the dentist office, I always feel valued as a person and not just another patient. She has celebrated the birth of my son with me. I felt it necessary to bring him to the dentist office to introduce him to her. Shes taken the time to get to know personally caring for the things that mean the most to me, which means so much to me.Dr. Charlie also is thorough, observant, and easy to talk to.
