Great experience! As a new patient I was very surprised at the level of professional care that was mixed so well with outright friendliness. After getting all of the paperwork and initial exams done, they got me in the next day for a cleaning! I was also very pleased with the cleaning services and the great results. I was here today for a crown after a root canal and Dr. Ross at the Rock Hill location was just amazing. He was so kind, made sure I was comfortable the entire appointment, and took the time to show me how they made the crown and everything (they can make it on site, and it’s really cool). The staff was incredibly friendly, as well as Doctor Ross. I typically feel uncomfortable going into medical buildings as Im so used to people acting like they dont want to work there, but the entire staff at Coombs and Ross Family Dentistry were so cheery and helpful and definitely made me feel welcome. The procedure I had done was to have a wisdom tooth removed, and they were very informative of how the procedure would be done, what I should do after, and they even showed me how to properly fold the gauze to put over the socket. I will definitely be making this location my go-to for any future procedures. In fact, I would come exactly 31 more times for extractions if needed. I will also be making this my regular dentist for cleanings in the future.

It was my first visit to Coombs and Ross Family Dentistry as a patient. The folks in the reception area were extremely welcoming to me as well as the other patients.After completing the required paperwork, I was taken room by Angela who I might guess to be a dental assistant. She reviewed my paperwork, had me expand on some items, and made notations as I did. She excused herself to, I believe, share the info with Dr. Ross. A short time later Angela and Dr. Ross came into the roomDr. Ross introduced himself and began. addressing the issues with my dentures. After assessing the problem with my lower denture which was broken in half. He did the preliminary work necessary before sending it to the lab for repair. He then repaired a pin hole in my upper denture.Needless to say I was impressed. By Dr. Rosss care and concern for me and my problems.Based on my overall experience. I would say that friendliness and professionalism permeate Coombs and Ross Family Dentistry.

Absolutely love them. Always nice, very clean and they do amazing work. I made the mistake of going somewhere else for a cheaper price and instantly regretted it. They just fixed me back up without fussing at me and I will never go anywhere else again!!!

I started taking my son here last year and the service here is incredible. Hes little and needs 2 fillings and they were able to comfort him through the whole process of getting it filled a though my son did really well he decided to fill the second one at a later date so my little boy wouldnt chew through his lip just because he couldnt feel it. He even called me long after hours just to make sure my youngin didnt chew up his lip and see how long the numbing worked. I also pay in cash due to lack of dental insurance where they have a membership system to help families with my financial situation. I really think their great.ConsI guess the front desk could handle communication better. Before said appointment from earlier I had called in to let them now I didnt have a ride and would be there over an hour early as to not miss my sons appointment, ask if that would be okay so I wouldnt violate their covid guidelines. I did indeed show up terribly early, called in and they never answered the call in fact they looked at me and left me on hold outside. I just wanted make sure that whoever told me coming in early was fine, didnt just say so because she assumed so. I walked in without hanging up and asked why she wouldnt answer and she replied that my appointment was nearly 2 hours from now. I just explained what I was told over the phone and the situation was over. Theyre friendly, it just feels that they skim through calls at times and theyre surprised when their assumptions are off mark. Not really a complaint more like a occasional annoyance.

Excellent first visit with Dr Ross and staff. Appointment was made without difficulty over the phone 2 days before my appointment. Was greeted cordially and ushered back to an examination room minutes after arriving. Angela, Dr Ross’s assistant, did a thorough X-ray and intraoral photographic assessment using very impressive state of the art equipment. Dr Ross and his staff reviewed their findings with me in understandable language using the digital pictures on screen to help me visualize my problem areas. I felt safe and unhurried and was very comfortable with the plan of treatment recommended. Would definitely recommend Dr Ross to my friends and family.

Great Covid protocol. Dr. Coombs catches potential problems very early for an easy resolution. He has been my one and only dentist for 30 years. My hygienist is thorough but very gentle with cleaning.

The entire staff was very helpful and welcoming! Dr Ross is one of the MOST attentive, dedicated, determined, kind, and caring person I have ever encountered (Did I mention humerous?!!)! My situation was one of the more complicated ones, and required for me to to be put to sleep. But this was after Dr Ross wore out all other options. Not only did he refer me to an oral surgeon imidiately (Mind due this was on a day that surgery is not typically performed), but while waiting in the lobby of the surgeon, who comes through the front door?! Dr Ross! He came all the way to the other practice not only to speak with the sergeon directly about my situation, but to make sure I was ok, and got everything I needed!!!! Not to mention, he refused to charge me for the services as he was not able to complete it, AND Texted, and Called me at 8pm to check on me after surgery!!!! So I would MORE than recomend him and the entire staff!!! They will be my new home for my entire family from now on! They went ABOVE and BEYOND!!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ross and hygienist Tammy Horne for 20 years. One of the best things is that they have something to teach almost every time. Tammy introduced me to bristled tooth picks, I call them Christmas trees, which are great. Most of all, I love knowing my plaque score, which I brag about since it averages 3 to 5. Know your plaque score, and find out how to improve it. If its great like mine (😂), learn how to maintain it.This is a 5 star practice.

Everyone was nice but I feel as if the pain management part of my case could have been taken more serious. My teeth was pulled and the numbness wore off by the time I got in my car.. no prescription for pain. I take Tylenol and ibuprofen on a daily because of my tooth pain once your body is immune to something it doesn’t work. They didn’t call me in anything. My face is still hurting now. Ear and head as well. I’ve had teeth pulled and It wasn’t like this.. I still recommend people to go but don’t look forward to not being in any pain after..unless it’s a reason my pain wasn’t as important as others.

Great, efficient dental care. Cleanings are thoroughly done, crowns are done in office and fit correctly the first time due to their state of the art technology. I left a great dentist who had horrible office and hygienist staff to come to Ross. This dental practice is much better and has great Assistants, great hygienists, and great staff. The doctor and his assistant lisa were AMAZING he was very professional and took the time to answer all of my questions. The only reason why I gave 3 stars instead of 5 stars is because another assistant came in and stood there waiting for the doctor to leave she didnt speak but she kept staring at him like ok you have been with this client long enough you have others, lets go. She didnt introduce herself or anything she just kept standing there staring it was very uncomfortable. It was important that i speak with the doctor because we were discussing surgery. Especially me being a new customer i want to get to know my doctor and find out whats going to happen with my surgery.

Best Dentist and hygienists in Rock Hill!

They did not disclose cost before sitting me down to exam and speak to me. Office seems very erratic and disorganized. Equipment didnt work. Dentist appeared frazzled. Both Dentists could not help me with my dental needs. Had my filling chipped in the visit. TMJ problems are very complicated and these dentists appear to be not trained in the management of this condition. I understand the needs of social distancing, cleanliness and sterilization because of Covid-19 but they went a little over board seeing me out through a side door never to see the front office again, their one way in and out procedure.

The members of this dental practice always behave courteously, and they work efficiently and effectively to serve the patients. The dentists do sterling work, and patients are always informed in advance of the cost of expensive procedures so they can make decisions about payments or about forgoing those procedures altogether. I recommend this practice highly.
