I went to mark and me for the first time today. I was very nervous for my first Brazilian wax. I was greeted by Victoria, who was so welcoming and sweet. She brought me up and made it seem like I was just there with a girl friend, chit chatting back and forth. She was SO quick and made the whole experience so easy. She’s AMAZING!

Everyone is so nice and so professional, and no one is more knowledgable or efficient on waxing than M.E. and her staff. I have been going to Mary Elizabeth for 8 years now!! I usually don’t write reviews but they deserved it. It’s has been two years that I’m waxing and I have tried a bunch of places in rochester. I have had horrible experience with many place’s, and they usually take hours to get the hairs out, as well as so much pain. A friend referred here to me and I can’t say how happy I’m with the results I did my armpits and Brazilian there Jody took 15 minutes or less got all the hair and ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN!!! I will never go anywhere else for waxing I recommend this place.

I went here for the first time this past Saturday . I was waxed by Vicky, it was my first time and she was good about talking to me and trying to make jokes to calm me. However, i wasn’t a fan of her style i felt like she was literally laying wax anyway to get it done as quick as possible which made some spots so painful.She let me know afterwards that i wouldn’t be baby smooth the first time around and i understood why some of the shorter hairs were left behind. However, i do not understand why when i got home and finally looked more closely patches of longer hairs were left behind and some parts were completely missed.she bragged on how quick she can do a Brazilian, but is being quick something to brag about if your not efficient? i’ll be looking for other places, for $65 +tip i expected quality results.

The staff makes you feel comfortable while receiving a slightly painful wax. They talk and joke with you to take your mind off what is going on. They are fast and do a great job. They do not judge you and make you feel welcome. I would not go anyplace else.

I needed a day to myself while visiting family. Was driving around and saw this place and what an experience! They were friendly, fast proffessional and reasonably priced! I got my hair done and got a manicure! They made my Thanksgiving visit to NY great! My hair still looks great and my manicure still hanging on! Beautiful place. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Mark and Mary Elizabeth are the best. Home of the 10 minute Brazilian is truth. Her technique is flawless with minimal discomfort. LADIES DID YOU HEAR ME, MINIMAL DISCOMFORT! Men she didnt forget about you either, chest, underarms, under carriage : )..... you can experience the smoothness as well. They are also a salon. This salon is without a doubt one of the best I have been to in a long time. They are always discreet and professional, with a calming and refreshing tone. It is great to know there is a place like this.Guys, if you need waxing done, they are great for that and do a great job. They take measures to ensure youre as comfortable as possible. If its your first time let them know so they can walk you through it. Dont be afraid to ask any questions you might have. This is the only place I go for waxing :)

I would highly recommend Mark and M.E. My 18 year old daughter had highlights done and she was extremely satisfied. They look awesome! Great place to go. Sure other places are cheaper but Mark & M.E. are willing to work with schedules and almost always accept last minute appointments. Like when another salon bailed on me and I was able to get an appoint here same day. Highly recommend.

Went in on my lunch because it was a lot closer than my regular waxing place and waxing tech was really friendly but I paid $55 for a Brazilian wax when I usually pay $35 and my bum and my bikini line both still have hair .. probably will never go back but it was a great atmosphere.

Initially I was nervous but Mary Elizabeth was straight forward and honest with me about what was going to happen, and kept me talking effortlessly the entire time. Even though I was a first timer she still had me out the door in fifteen minutes! The room was comfortable, clean, and put my mind at ease. Also creeping on Mary Elizabeth online had me know that she was experienced and that I was in capable hands! Definitely will not be going anywhere else and will recommend to any friends that ask where to go for a wax! Cant wait to see her again in four weeks!

They make you feel comfortable about being waxed right from the call to make your appointment to exposing your lady parts in a way you may have never done before. M.E. is the best! I went only just a few times. The first time I was very apprehensive about doing something so personal, but M.E is excellent. She took your mind off of it and just had a normal conversation, plus its just a friendly atmosphere. With all of the workers. I definitely will keep going there and referring my friends.

I really liked my technician and she did a great job. Very quick, I got lower legs and bikini in a half hour. I thought prices are also fair. The only the is that she only used soft wax, which the tech preferred to use, but I thought using hard wax in the bikini area was less painful. I might see if she will use hard wax in my future visits.

Ive had two wax session now and both were excellent, ME makes you feel comfortable immediately in what is naturally an awkward situation. I never thought Id be laughing through the whole thing because she keeps you so distracted, you dont even realize whats happening. Twenty minutes on her table and I felt like a whole new woman!Ive also had a color done with Amy and my hair came out amazing, cant wait to visit again next week for more of their excellent services!

Went here for a wax, dont get me wrong the lady was very sweet and made the experience a breeze. But I still had hair down there. I paid 65$ I was expecting to be BALD ! Not have stranglers here and there. A little advice maybe you should go over the area twice to make sure all the hair is gone, especially if your charging 65$.

Kelly was amazing! I got a Brazilian at a chain place and they did a very poor job, and missed A LOT. So I called Mark & Me, spoke with Kelly, and she said she could get me in right away. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable, and did an excellent job-customer for life!

Anyone who complains about their waxing services, clearly has not been here in years. I have never once seen anyone ever double-dip, nor have I ever had any issues with any of their technicians. In fact, they do such a good job, that I am openly telling the world how good of a job they do. The staff is friendly, and the establishment is very, very clean. I recommend them to close friends, and sometimes strangers, when they ask for a good place for waxing is.

If you want a waxing of any kind this place is great. If you want your hair to not be completely ruined DO NOT GO HERE. They over lapped bleach on my blonde hair and it was destroyed. It going to be years before my hair will ever be the same.

I went to Mark & Me for hair removal on my hands. I would say this was one of the worst experience ever. They are trying to cheery pick areas to wax because they want to save products. It is a simple rule in waxing to do sections, so you cover the full area. Hands do have subtle hair so you need to do a check for any missing places and do them again. The person who did hair removal was picking areas and missed many spots. Also since I had the last appointment she was trying to rush. I had to leave the place with leftover wax on my arms. When I complained to Mark. He was defending the employee even without listening to my story. First thing a businessmen should learn is to listen to the customer first. You are going to a professional to get a professional job done not for a mediocre job. You could do a mediocre job by yourself. Please save your money and avoid going for waxes here. I am sure that will save lot of product for Mark so they do not have to do double dipping and missing areas.

My opinion may be a bit bias but everyone is entitled to one!This past Tuesday I had my first ever Brazilian and I must admit I tried not to show it but I was terrified I kept asking myself if I really wanted to do it but I did and Im hooked.The lovely JODY did my wax and she made it quick, easy, thorough, and well as comfortable as you could be in that situation! Yes ME is the Brazilian wax God(dess) but Jody is also quite fantastic! I totally recommend the service and the salon!You can do it! :)

I will never find an esthetician like the girls here! I have moved around upstate New York for contracts and I either have faced a miserable time or was disappointed. And my first Brazilian was at Mark and M.E. I even had someone wax me in Hawaii this week and it took like forever! And then I don’t know why it would hurt more than it usually does. And finally I hate being the one to hold any skin. And oh yeah she decided to use smaller strips. I hate the ones who use the same strip to wax whatever is left. Freakin hurts!!!! All I can say is I miss all of the crew!! 💕 Aloha

M.E. had me relaxed and confident in her abilities and I didnt even notice the pain. She had me so comfortable I completely forgot that I had some strange woman all in my coochy.
