We were at the wrong location but the salon made room for us. Very thankful because my husband had only been out of the hospital for a couple weeks. He loved his hair cut and the stylist was great with him.Thank You.

My son’s hair is uneven. I asked for a nice fade & line up and they must not know how because she wasn’t able to do it. I get it kids don’t sit still but I believe if you don’t have the patience then this isn’t a job you should be in. So I literally wanted to cry it was so messed up! :(

Good place for a moderately priced haircut. All the current precautions due to COVID are a pain but its not their fault. You have to make an appointment now, but I always have. Biggest problem is their high turn over of stylists. You have to choose a new one every now and then.

Bartenders are awesome. Kept up with bar patrons as well as tables the loaded mac n cheese is the best ive ever had!! Huge portion and was creamy and amazing even after I got to the hotel down the road a couple miles.

Have been here many times and beginning to wonder if I should come back, or perhaps cut my own hair. Its terrible. I dont think Im coming back here. My hair is usually not what I would like it to be and its sadGood look finding a good spot.

You really cant beat this place for price and service. Wash, cut, hot towel, back massage and free trims between cuts for well under 20 bucks. The only downside is there seems to be a lot of turnover for stylists. I dont go often, but I rarely get the same person twice. That being said, I have never been unhappy with a cut from this place.

Great salon/ barber shop that can cut short and long hair. There is an important difference and they know it. Both mine and my daughters favorite hair cut. Call for reservation or hang out until someone is free.

I generally feel comfortable coming here every time. They are good! I like the idea of a hot towel over the face for relaxation. They also offer shoulder massages after the hair cut. Its pretty cool.

One of the best places or barber shops in Rochester! the prices are unbeatable! the services are awesome and also included in your hair cut price! yet you have a free trim .. i had mine and it was almost as a hair cut free of charge! yet, with a hot facial towel, shampoo and a shoulder massage! Showed up at 6:05 for a 6:00 appointment, I hit traffic. I was told that the next appointment comes in at 6:20 and that would leave them only 5 min to cut my hair... Regardless, I had been loyal for a while, tipped well, and recommended them a few times. They really didnt seem to care and that really leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Staff is rude and unpleasant. Arrived 6 min late to my appointment due to a traffic accident and in a very dismissive way they didn’t let me in.

I am not doing this to be mean or disrespectful, I am doing this to guide/protect future customers. Lining your client up should and is barber 101. Even though Netta is a perfectly decent human being, I do not believe she knows how to line a client up. I have had 4 haircuts at this shop with 3 different people. I have had 1 bad, 1 mediocre and 1 horrendous haircut. The last 2 were Netta. I have had one decent haircut out of the 4 and that was from Kayla I believe but she doesnt seem to be available. I for one dont think illI ever be coming back to this shop again.

I’ve gotten two haircuts here; first time with Netta and she did an amazing job! Super good price for an excellent haircut.Tonight I made an appointment with Courtney and had the complete opposite experience. I’ve never had my head/neck be burning after a haircut and be bleeding in several spots.So, if you can book Netta go for it! Otherwise I would avoid Courtney so you dont feel like you have rug burn all over your head and be bleeding. :)The manager did contact me to apologize for the incident.

Great place for a haircut that comes with a hot towel and a massage if you want. Staff are friendly, reasonable prices. Wish they had straight razors, and other men specific grooming items for sale.

I am pretty easy going and havent had a bad haircut ever, until now. I asked her for a fade or blend ad she just took the razor and didnt even try to fade it, then she started taking some off the top, I asked her how much she thought she was taking off and wouldnt answer my question. I had politely said we are done. Tried to apologize to the gal and she copped an attitude with me and wouldnt even let me talk. Went to check out and the rest of the staff was nice and caring. I dont know if Id go back.

I dont get anything fancy, but this is the first place Ive been in Rochester that took the time to cut my cow lick properly and not leave stray long hairs all over the place. This was followed by a hot towel and a wash. The staff was friendly as well.However, you will definitely need an appointment and a little patience as they are very busy on the weekends.

It would really help if the review would list the name of the stylist. The reviews reflect more on who you get to cut your hair than the business. Unfortunately I cant help as I have had more hair cuts by the bad stylists than the good. Unlucky I guess. If you find a good one get her card and stick with her.The business side needs to find a way to weed out the bad stylists, and find a way to rate and reward the good ones. If you are going in as a first timer than its luck of the draw. Unfortunately you dont always get what you pay for here...

The one time I am late it was by 6 or 7 minutes. It wasnt my fault. The girl checked me in and then came back minutes later and said since I was 10 minutes late they couldnt get me in. I literally showed her the time on l my phone and it was 9 minutes after and I had been waiting for a few minutes. Then she told me oh its 5 minutes actually. This said to me while no one else was even waiting to get a haircut. I wont be going back. Their customer service has gone down and down.

My latest haircut at this shop was the last one I will get there. The barbers here cannot cut hair. I called to make an appointment and specifically requested someone able to cut a cowlick. When I arrived for my appointment, and was seated, I detailed what I wanted my hair to look like, and even showed pictures. I asked for don drapers haircut on madmen - a simple side part, long enough to slick back. I had grown my hair out for almost a year prior so there was plenty of length to work with and my barber was unable to cut and style such a basic hairstyle. I instead left with hair cut too short, cowlicks ( which the length of the style should have mitigated ) at ninety degrees, and no side part. The only reason they earned two stars and not one is that the employees are friendly and it is a nice atmosphere, however I payed for a hopefully semi-decent haircut, not atmosphere.

Really nice ladies but my haircut wasnt the best. They do take care of you if you point anything out that you would like fixed but it feels strange telling a professional to fix anything.

I highly recommend this place. The staff are very friendly and thankfully they all know how to cut hair as well as trim a beard. This is the only place I trust to trim up my beard.

I made an appointment with Netta today and first of all... she did not care about what I wanted whatsoever I said a little trim And she said “fade?” And I said no don’t like fades... she still did a fade, a horrible fade to be exact she left bald spots on the side of my head. It was a 4 min haircut in total for 15 dollars, she did not care whatsoever ... a great barber shop shouldn’t have a crappy barber like Netta

Stacey messed up my hair, I told her I wanted about a 1/4 inch off the top. Just enough to blend it into the sides. She took off maybe 1.5 inches. Its not hard to do a high and tight hair cut ladies. Fix your people.Hair grows back, and Ive had some good cuts there before, but this was by far the worst haircut I have ever received...ever.

Peanuts and coffee while you wait, they take appointments, hot towel while they wash your hair, and they finish up with a shoulder massage. If they wanted to make the experience any better they would need a liquor license. Im a devoted fan.

First bad experience here. Told manager I didnt like how she was making my cut look and she replied, Youre fine. She hustled through the rest of the cut, not being gentle or careful.

Very frustrated. I take some responsibility as I rarely make an appointment, and just drop in. In the 6 years Ive been going there I dont remember being upset very often. Unfortunately its been a fairly common situation. A while back I had an issue with having my beard trimmed and just today my hair was butchered. I feel like Im detailed enough with my request without being annoying yet the outcome was terrible. The staff are rarely personable and one stylist in specific digs her long nails into the side of my head during the shampooing. Very disappointed and Im not sure Ill be going back. Ill spend a lil more to have an attentive stylist and satisfaction.
