These guys were amazing. They came out on one of the hottest days, quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in about an hour; the price was very reasonable and much less than I expected. They were very professional and friendly and explained everything each step of the way. I will definitely be using these guys for all my Heating and AC needs!

These guys were able to start replacing my central AC and furnace the day after I received the quote. Other companies were quoting me 1 to 3-4 weeks. The installers were knowlegeble and fast. They were able to get the whole thing installed in 1 1/2 days.

Had an appointment set up today 7/12 @ 2pm to clean out the furnace and fireplace. Gentleman calls my wife (while at work) and leaves a voice-mail asking if it was OK to come early. She made the appointment to go around our childs nap schedule, along with our healing dogs schedule from surgery. Guy said he took another client before us and assured us would be right around 2pm or a little after. Never showed and I closed the front door. Terrible communication and would NEVER use this company again. Very unprofessional!

Dave was the gentlemen that came out to diagnose the issue. I had replaced a few parts over the years and couldn’t figure out what was causing the most recent issue. Our furnace is over 25 years old now and certainly needs replaced. Dave was very thorough and found that part of the gas valve was not functioning properly. After wiggling the connector around and pinning it in a spot that was responsive I decided to use it like this until we absolutely decide to replace the unit. He was completely supportive and gave me all the information for when we decide to replace the unit

They came and made a fast assessment that the water on the floor was from a plugged PVC pipe. They replaced the “zig zag” PVC pipe with a “straight” Pipe. $250.00. Not particularly cheap but appreciated.

I had a New York state energy audit. They found I needed insulation in my attic and basement. I needed a new hot water tank and it had to be vented out properly. They looked for all the areas where my house was deficient in energy and where they could help repair and replace things. I got new smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors and long lasting energy efficient light bulbs. They were a godsend. They were professional, on time, polite and such a pleasure to have in my home.

Total Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning do excellent work. The furnace stopped working on Saturday night. The owner Ken came out on Sunday to look at the furnace. He said it needed a new thermostat wire, and he could install the wire. He did an amazing job.

I hired Total Comfort to clean the ducts in my fathers house. They did an amazing job! The extra time they put in to fix some gas leaks that they found and remove insulation that had fallen into the cold air return. They probably spent an extra 2 hours going above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Kudos to your employees for making your company look great.

On one of the hottest days of the month my AC decided to stop working. I called in the morning and by 11:00 and very nice man was at my home determining what was wrong. He determined what he needed, returned to the office for the part and came back to install it. The cool air returned and he took the time to explain each phase of what he did t correct the issue.

Returned home from 6 months away. Within two weeks I needed a repair to my water heater, pilot reignite of my gas fireplace and repair to my air conditioner! So far, the service that I have received from this company are as follows: they have replaced my dryer venting system so that venting is going outside (I was using an indoor venting system), cleaned my furnace, replaced several light bulbs, and installed a Smoke Alarm and a Carbon system. They will be installing the heating system and the thermostat sometime this month once my loan is approved.

I had a furnace issue in the dead of winter, my house was cooling down quickly, and a couple hours later Im back up and running. Definitely recommend as a 5 plus star rating.March 2021: I liked their work so much on my moms house 2 years ago, (see previous post), I used them myself for installation of new furnace and water heater. They came out from Greece, NY to Canandaigua, NY where I live. They were over $3,000 LESS than another estimate I had, and with a better brand furnace. Work is impeccable once again. Friendly techs that explained everything so I could understand. Even my dog loved them. Highly recommend Total Comfort.

Did a great duct cleaning job and humidifier installation. He was quite meticulous and paid close attention to detail. Also, very knowledgeable on air purification. My dust allergies feel better with the cleaning and humidifier. Would highly recommend to others!

In March 2017 we purchased a house in Hilton. We now have two homes but the Hilton home will become our primary home in the future. My wife and I are both in our 80’s and the likelihood is that my wife will be alone in Hilton for some time in the future. While our furnace, AC and hot water were working fine, the AC and the furnace were 18 years old. Since we can now replace these we decided to do so now rather than burden my wife with a failing unit in the future. We started with our furnace. After contacting several companies we signed on with Ken Kalke of Total Comfort.We signed on with Ken because he gave us a good deal, as did others, and he also could offer a strong manufacturer’s warranty. But most important we did so because we liked and trusted Ken and felt he was very sincere about caring about his company and his work.Our furnace is now in and working well. We had a minor glitch after the install and Ken came up and spent time to fix it and he did. We feel we have a good unit and we have a fine company. If all goes as we expect, then we are ready to replace our AC, Total Comfort will do it.

Purchased Amana high efficiency furnace from Total Comfort in Feb. Installation was a breeze, and our house quickly warmed up. We noticed this fall that the house seemed to stop heating up. Ken dispatched and quickly surmised that a spider had taken up residence in our units drain pipe. In about one hour, our house was warm again. We definitely appreciate Total Comforts support of their product!

We called Total Comfort for a duct cleaning in our new home. The house was built around 1915 and the ducts were disgusting. The guys showed up, explained what they would be doing, and completed the job in a very professional way. The price was great which was so helpful with all the expenses that come with buying an old home. They included a furnace inspection as well.

I first learned about Total Comfort a year ago when my old furnace wouldnt turn on one morning during the winter. Im what you call a do it yourself person, so I researched the problem & decided it could be the igniter needed to be clean. Once I took off the door of my furnace, I decided it was way to much work to reach the igniter, decided to call in the professionals. I read many Heating & Cooling reviews & decided to give Total Comfort a try. I called & they placed my on the schedule immediately, the sent a young man name Chris to my home, he analyzed the problem & it was the igniter need to be clean. He cleaned it & it started up immediately, he went back downstairs to but the furnace back together & something went wrong & the furnace stopped. This is when honesty & integrity comes into place, Chris said he must have done something wrong & he called is boss Ken, Ken was out of town with his family, but he stayed on the phone trying to assist Chris for hours. Unfortunately, Chris was unable to fix it with Kens assistance via phone.Once Ken returned to Rochester, he was at my home within one hour from getting off the plane & fixed my furnace, he replaced what ever need to be replaced with no charge to me.I was so impressed with the honesty & integrity of Total Comfort. that I have went on to have them insulate my home in 2019. Perform energy testing for free.As of 2020, Total Comfort installed a New Energy Efficient Amana Furnace in my home & a Energy Efficient Hot Water Tank. They did a wonderful job, cleaned up & took the time to explain the new furnace & hot water tank. Im very detail oriented about thing & they took the time to make sure I was happy with the install. They processed the warranties needed for the furnace. Ken did a great job on my heating system and in addition told me about a number of programs that will help me be more efficient in my energy use and also help me pay for it since I am a senior on a very limited budget. I was very impressed and definitely will continue to call Total Comfort and not the company that I used for many years as I perceived their service deteriorate over time.

Very happy with the whole experience. I was contacted quickly for the home audit by Pam and was contacted 1 week after submitting the paperwork to set up a date for the audit. About another week later they contacted me to let me know the results and set up dates for the crew to start doing the work. I was approved for a good amount of stuff, over 6k in work. They divided the work in 4 parts. By the second appt., Ken came and checked out my furnace, he said it needed to be replaced. I couldnt afford one and he advised me of a program that could help. Turns out I ended up getting it replaced for free also. All the guys that came were friendly and gave me information on what they were doing. I had a small issue because they came to insulate my attic and it was not explained to me how they would do it before hand to see if I agreed. Comes out being they were gonna do a full blow, which meant I would not be able to use my attic for anything because it would all have about a foot of cellulose on the ground. I was a little upset at that, because I use my attic for storage. The worker offered to leave a 10x12 area without so I could use as storage and my husband agreed. It took me a while to get over that. Bit Im already happy with it, my house feels warmer already. My furnace has been installed, the crew was very knowledgeable and explained everything in regards to the new parts and what they did. So I do give them a 5star rating because they are proffesional, friendly, helpful and get to everything quick. Thanks to Pam and Ken, I had an awesome experience.

This is now my 4th time using Total Comfort and as an out of State property owner I cant tell you how reassuring it is to trust a company in the blind from hundreds of miles away. Once again Kenny and his team did an excellent job diagnosing, repairing and even providing my tenant with temporary heating units while the parts were being shipped. From fair pricing to quality service I wont hesitate to keep using Total Comfort in the future for all my HVAC needs.
