Toyota of Riverside offers the best service all around!We have previously purchased two Toyota cars at Toyota of Riverside both times Godwin was our salesman. We found ourselves shopping for cars and not finding what we wanted.We started to shop the Toyota of Riverside website and saw a few trucks we liked. Put in our info in the website to see if we qualified. A short time after someone from Toyota of a riverside called us. We knew off the back if we where going to get another Toyota Godwin would be our salesman. So, we let the person that called us know just that. The next day Godwin called us and we let him know we had been shopping around. He said you dont want those other trucks you want a Toyota. He convinced my wife and myself to get down there to test drive and to get our new truck.We showed up around 6:45pn walked the lot found what we wanted and the rest was history. We are not on our Third Toyota and very satisfied.

Worst car buying experience of our life! The car sales manager, David Zek, “Fleet Manager” was rude. We inquired using AAA car buying service since they don’t participate in Costco auto buying program. We are a Toyota/Lexus family, making a considerable investment over the last decade. The salesman, David Zek, treated my wife horribly. My wife and I have been active car shopping in our local area. She said we were interested in getting a fair value for our trade-in. She also mentioned we were in contact with other local dealers. Salesman David became irritated and started talking down to my wife. My wife mentioned that we were open to several color options. One of those was black. David said “I would never own a black car, they get to dirty”. Apparently they didn’t have any black 4Runners so they immediately tried to switch her to another color. The trade-in appraisal was a joke. David insisted we drive our car to the dealership for inspection. Upon arrival he simply open the car door to confirm mileage and get V.I.N. number. They didn’t even road test our vehicle. Mr. Zek said he would not be able to give us a trade value until following day. Why ask us to bring a car in for appraisal when your not prepared to make an offer? That evening Mr. Zek called me and confirmed the 4Runner we are interested in buying would arrive shortly. I then asked him for a written offer by email or text. He said he would not do that. He said I would have stop bye dealership to get offer. I visited the dealership today. To my amazement Mr. Zek knew very little about the vehicle. Mr. Zek was quick to give me a verbal offer for my trade in. He then told me this vehicle had an additional market up value of $15,000!! Are you kidding me I said. His excuse for up charge was high demand. Needless to say we did not purchase a vehicle. It’s my opinion Mr. Zek sales license should be revoked. Buyers BEWARE!

When you’re in the market for a new or used vehicle, the best choice is Toyota of Riverside! I’ve been a returning customer of theirs for years now and have purchased 3 of my last vehicles from them. Kenny Hotchkiss is one of the best and honest salesman I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with, not once did I ever feel like he was rushing or pushy with me or that I wasn’t getting the best deal I could get. He’s definitely a great guy. Mike, the gentleman in the service intake area, is so polite and helpful! He’s definitely the best person to see when you need any service done with your vehicle. Poor communication . Waited 4 weeks for parts, no call that parts were ready .I am sure that if I had not tried to reach out for a whole week I would still be waiting for a call back . Tried to charge me over 300$ for installation. Luckily I asked for a quote the day I ordered the parts and it was written on my paperwork(80.00$). The sad thing about it is that some people don’t have a choice, they don’t have the knowledge or the will to challenge . These places continue to rip people off . In addition the sarcastic undertones really aren’t necessary from the service advisors or technicians whatever they are called especially when a customer has already had a negative experience .It’s not my fault the person that dropped the ball in the first place passed the buck to you because they have the day off .I will not be coming back to Toyota of riverside and nor will I buy Toyota in the future . It’s tough out here.

Wait time is crazy here when servicing your car. It went from 1 hour 3 months ago to 2 hours 2 months ago but today was over the top. I got here at 10:30am and it’s 2:20pm and they just told me they haven’t even started working on the car. All I was getting was done today was my tires rotated and checking the oil levels . Going to pull my car out and go to another Toyota dealer. That was a waste of 4 hours. Very disappointed!

My mom brought her car in yesterday for maintenance and they told her it was going to be $80 and they ended up upselling her almost $400, they did a regular maintenance with tire rotation and told her she needed new tires because they were “low”... and they didn’t even bother filling the tires with air. they also tried to charge her $160 just for RESETTING THE ENGINE LIGHT! which takes one minute to do! she will never be returning again. it’s better to drive a few extra miles and get good service than to come here waste your money.

Complete disregards to your time. Had an appointment to be told 3-3:30 hrs wait time for an OIL CHANAGE, not sure if they understand what an appointment means (of course that is the second time I run into an issue like that at the same dealership). Service director is too busy to address your concerns and the service manager blames it on the soft ware... go figure... the last time I checked we program the software and not the other way around.

The experience of buying a new (late model) vehicle was a very pleasant experience. Tim and Robert were very helpful. There were a couple of surprises in the paperwork that we found when we got home, but overall we were pleased with how we were accommodated during our visits. The sales person is friendly and straight forward which is what we want but not the finance persons. The finance workers wanted to get things done ASAP since we did not look for any extra warranty thus provided us a very bad experience as seen in their attitude. We liked the financial director who did the final process for us on our credit application which only takes 10mins therefore we give the sales person and the financial director 5 stars but the finance workers 2 stars. By the way, the receptionists are also very helpful and concern of the customers waiting time to be served or attended. We give 5 stars too

If I can give 0 stars I would.Went to their website to find a deal on car we wanted (got lease, and trade in numbers and everything). Printed it out and brought it the dealership.As soon as I arrived, I already got a bad feeling. Soon as I mentioned the car I was interested in, the salesperson said, Oh man, good well see what we can do with the markup price on it.MARKUP PRICE!! I get that due to COVID, there are major shortages worldwide. So it wasnt a complete surprise. However, soon as we sat down to talk numbers, the markup was almost $14K above MSRP. Oh and on top of that, they said they couldnt take in my current car as a trade-in. I was completely done at that point. No need to talk sense in ripoffs like Toyota of Riverside.And just to make matters worse for them, I called other Toyota dealerships in the region and told them the exact same thing and every single one had better deals: NO MARKUPS and able to take in ANY TRADE INs (even those Riverside said they couldnt for some reason).They lost one customer today, but I will be spreading word to friends and family not to do business with Toyota of Riverside.

I would put a 0 star, I called to get info on the new 86 and the sales person named victor was a smart one by saying that car isnt made yet you cant order one after I had just explained I got off the phone with Subaru down the street and they where already taking orders on the BRZ and he replies with I can be fancy and say I have 9 orders of 86 as well the car isnt made yet you cant buy one I wanted information because I rather buy the Toyota Ive owned a few Toyotas, and I sell cars as well and I would never talk to my customer like this. I simply wanted some help but i guess you cant get that at this Toyota. I was on hold for 10 mins before I got connected with victor and he acts like that. I have no idea how the reviews are so good. Maybe this is due to the dealer section. The service department on the other hand needs to be retrained or replaced. No updates were given on our car when they said they would be. Calls went unanswered, ignored and never returned. And when the service manager called, he tried to lie to my husband. All of a sudden the car has issues where there were none. We are definitely taking our car, business and money elsewhere.

It was ok, I think we could have gotten a better deal, but the sales was nice and the guy that did the papers was nice

Took my vehicle 2007, Toyota FJ cruiser to the service department due to the check engine light came on. When I arrived everyone was very happy, willing to help and smiling. After the vehicle was diagnosed, I was notified the vehicle needed about $4,000. Dollars in parts and almost $2,000. Dollars in labor. Very politely I notified the service adviser I was going to decline for them to do the repairs. I requested an itemized list of parts, part numbers for my vehicle so that I may repair or take the vehicle to another mechanic. The advisors attitude change from smiles and happy to very unhappy and not willing to help. Once I arrived to pick up my vehicle, the adviser could not be located. After waiting for over 30 minutes for him to come and talk to me. I asked him for the itemized list for my vehicle. He gave me a computer print screen in the smallest font that cannot be read and over 30 miscellaneous parts that make no sense. It seems toyota is very happy when they perform the work and repair for $6.000. Dollars worth of work, but very poor attitude when told they will not do the work. I guess all I did is donate $160. Dollars for a diagnosis that did not help me with anything or provide me with an itemized list of parts that I will need to do the work. Very disappointed with poor customer service and treatment. Would not recommend this dealership.

Went to go get my Toyota Tacoma service there because that was the place I bought my 2018 Toyota Tacoma I purchased in October I looked at other dealerships but that other cars and other brands get the best deal and the best for my trading at this dealership I would recommend this dealership over all the rest in our area in further I dont even live in Riverside I even went two other Toyota dealerships and name beat everything because other truck is lower here they gave me more for my trade in could you sell all around better deal and got more things with the truck I will recommend this place to all my friends and I already have and I will keep on recommending this place

My experience at Toyota was amazing as always! I had Ziggy help me get out of a car I hated and into one I absolutely love!! It was the fasted experience Ive had at a dealership. I told him right away my situation and that it was a difficult one and he beyond exceeded my expectations when other dealers tried to take advantage. I respect his honesty and straightforward attitude and would highly recommend him. I will definitely be coming back to him when it comes time for a new car in the future.

I am really impressed with how smooth my purchase went from this dealership. I used Costco car buying program and there was no haggling. Had to have it looked at 4 days into owning it however as the drive belt was bad. A little disappointing since the car was certified pre-owned but they fixed it and sent me on my way! Great great customer service. Alonzo my salesman, the finance guy, Brian in service. All top notch!

I wouldnt recommend using their services, I leased a car from riverside and less than 8 months they raised my car payment. Ive always leased out cars and this is the only company that raised my car payment. And without my permission they opened a toyota credit card line and made my credit score decrease 15 point, shame on them without asking me. And they said I would get a referral money and never got that either. And then the camry already had to be jumped 2 times because the car wouldnt start and the vehicle was less than 6000 miles. And the car constantly smells like coolant.. So I give it a negative 5 stars. Never again. This is 1000% my honest review, I have proof of everything.

So I purchased my RAV 4 back at the end of 2019. I wanted a reliable vehicle from a trusting dealership. Man was I wrong.On the RAV 4 the rear liftgate is automatic. Well in under 2 year, my rear lift gate has malfunctioned! The vehicle is no longer safe to drive, leaving me with 2 children without a vehicle!Well, you see, the malfunction did not happen overnight. I had issues with the lift gate stopping when going down, or when I pushed the button would not open. So at my 10,000 miles service, I told my check in technician Edgar at Toyota of Riverside. Did he check it, No. He just reset the lift gate saying there it is all fixed.Well 3,000 some miles later the lift gate no longer closes at all and when I took it back to Toyota of Riverside Eris seen the hinge on the driver side is separating from the frame. The vehicle is also unsafe to drive.We Toyota has to wait for corporate to see if the problem of the liftgate will be covered under the warranty of the BRAND NEW vehicle. Why would it not be covered under warranty when I told Edgar I was having problems with the liftgate.I was given these options, leave the vehicle while waiting to see what corporate says, but they were not sure if their uber will take me all the way home since I live in San Bernardino.There was no offer of a tow of the vehicle home and a for sure safe ride all the way home!So I called corporate that same day Friday 04/09/2021 and got the runaround and no agent would allow me to speak to a supervisor or a manager.Juan at corporate stated there is a few days process for the team to review the claim submitted by Toyota of Riverside and they cannot approve a loaner vehicle early without knowing if the vehicle would be covered by corporate and he had no way of expediting the claim.I told Juan, this was my only vehicle and I have 2 children in which one has physical therapy multiple times a week.Juan stated there was nothing more he could do and I just had to wait. Also stated This is Toyotas stand.Now knowing Toyota does not care about moms who take care of their children and are out of a vehicle when their vehicles mishap and have poor mechanics who do nothing when a customer comes in with issues. Toyota does not care if they leave people stranded, not offering tow services for vehicles they deem unsafe to drive or offering complementary shuttle services to people homes. Toyota being a multi billion dollar company, they could not eat the cost of a mom with 2 kids to loan her a vehicle so she does not have to take the bus to get groceries or take her children to physical therapy getting sunburned while out waiting for the bus is ridiculous to me.Knowing that this is where Toyota stands per Juan at Corporate is just disgusting.There is always a way to speed up the process for claims. There is always a way to preapprove loaner vehicles. There is always a way to take care of the customer. But Toyotas stand is not to. Per Juan at Corporate.Beware of Toyota.

I had a very good experience, friendly, informative, and most definitely work hard for your business. The finance Manager was also very friendly and personable. Very few take the time to go through and make sure your payment needs are met. I highly recommend Toyota of Riverside.
