This company was called to fix a plumbing issue. He was efficient and highly knowledgeable. The issue got taken care of in a timely manner. The work was done PROPERLY and fixed in a manner as to avoid the same happenstance from occurring again. Definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, Ive had to use these guys on maybe 8 different calls over the last 5 years. Never a repeat issue, but always seem to need them to fix something. They are very good at what they do, all of them! They show up on time, clean up their mess, trucks are outfitted with everything they need, knowledgeable, kind, etc. Weve had small jobs, big jobs, etc. and they have done great with all of it. Nick and his crew are professional, accurate, and dependable. They have done several major jobs for me (a full re-piping of my home). Also, super nice and responsive and easy to work with. These are the guys to go with if you’ve got an important job.

From the initial call to the final day of service, NIR responded promptly, professionally and most importantly clean and friendly. We had to repipe our whole house! Nick, the owner, came over right away and after walking through the house he explained to us his recommendations and also gave us a reasonable price. My wife likes to ask lots of questions and Nick was able to answer them all with ease, which made us feel confident in going with this company. By the way we got 2 quotes to repipe the house which had galvanized pipes. We then scheduled the repipe which included plumbing in two restrooms, a kitchen and removing an old water heater to go tankless. The repipe process was performed primarily by Mike Lopez, a one man army. Mike is the most knowledgeable plumber out there; Id put him up against any other plumber in the country. Not only that, but hes also the neatest plumber as well. He cleaned up immediately after each project and was able to explain what he did every step of the way. Sergio Cortez helped install our tankless water heater. He was also very prompt and knowledgeable. Nick came by almost each day and was available by phone every time we had a question or concern. Nick, Mike and Sergio all reminded and reassured us that they were always available for their customers. 24/7 service. The whole process lasted less than a week and we were able to stay home the entire time. I will definitely be calling Nick and the team to handle all our future plumbing and A/C needs. I highly recommend them to anyone in this IE area needing commercial or residential services. For people leaving negative comments complaining about price, remember, you can choose to go cheap, but you get what you pay for. It was good. Mike showed up was professional, friendly, funny. When I asked about cost though he never included labor into this so the final number went from 250-300 dollars and when it was all said and done he was like $850, what I would like to know is where the extra 500-550 dollars came from? At no point did he feel it was necessary to let me know it would be that much.A friendly heads up would have been nice.

I has having some stoppage issues with some of the drains in my home and needed a second opinion as to what was going on. I contacted NIR Plumbing and went over the issue over the phone but Nick said it would be best if him and his team went to my home and checked it out personally. Nick and NIR Plumbing came referred to us by a friend and homeowner insurance agent. He was professional and after hearing our plumbing problem (after hours mind you) came out himself to assess the damage and begin repairs. He was kind, courteous and professional. He explained the situation and jumped right into the repair. We were installing base boards in the garage and drilled through a major water line in the slab. Nick is very knowledgeable and it shows in his expertise, skill and craftsmanship. He was able to cut around the slab, cut a small square in the drywall and fix and reroute the copper pipe in an hour and a half. I would recommend Nick to friends, family and neighbors for sure.

Just bought my first place so I am trying to do a lot of things on my own to of course save money. With that being said I tried to replace a water washer valve on a old 1927 house and of course ran into issues. Called a few places and Nic was the only one who answered on a Friday afternoon. Once I told him my location he said he was down the street and would be there in 5 min. Nic came in looked at what I had, gave me a few pointers and had me repairing my own valve in minutes. I offered to pay him for his advice and time and he would not except. I will definitely use Nic and his company for all my future plumbing issues. Dont find many people nowadays who are honest yet alone plumbers.Thanks Nic for the help!

We had some staining on our ceiling and it was getting darker and darker. I called NIR Plumbing to help us figure out what it was and sure enough it was old rusted piping in the restroom on our 2nd floor. Nick said we got this checked out just in time because if we would have just let this sit the sheetrock would start developing mold. He fixed the leak and replaced the damaged sheetrock and everything was good as new!

My experience with Nic is quite different and disappointing. I have a rental in Riverside and my renter called him for drain cleaning. Nic came out on the call and ran a snake a short distance down the line and claimed the that the issue was tree roots and that he would need to dig a hole in the front yard and install a two way clean out for $1200 because he could not run a snake down the clean out in the garage or back yard. I called him and asked about the issue... Nic continued his false claims and acted like he had a customer with no experience in plumbing and telling me that I would need to be a plumber to understand the issue.What Nic did not know is that I am trained as a plumber with over 20 years of experience (building high end homes, businesss cleaning and major sewage repair) I now run a large company sales department) . After listening to his silliness for a while I let the cat out of the bag and he was told I was a plumber. I started asking him actual plumbing questions. He evaded and tried to crawl out of his silly statements. He tried to tell me that there was no way to run a large snake down the line. I asked why he did not remove the toilet and use the 3 drain. He just stated that he would have had to charge twice the amount to remove the toilet (total $280) and run the snake. So he was so nice to save us the $140 extra and put in a $1200 clean out that was never needed. And as for the tree roots, there is not a tree on the property and has not been one there for more than 20 years! .Nic was told not to come out to the home again and he was not allowed on the property. I promptly drove 1 hour to the house, pulled out a snake and ran it through both clean outs. The issue was baby wipes and NOT roots. If he had run a proper snake down the line he would have found the issue right away, it only took me 15 minuets to find the issue!!!Be careful of drain cleaners, it is not in their best interest to simply run snake for $140. Avoid the Nics in life and read a little about your home so you can make an informed decision.
