After the technician left on 1/15, the next day the refrigerator stopped working again. This whole situation has been a fiasco from the beginning. We have been with out the use of our primary refrigerator now for a month. Now I have a another service call scheduled for January 20. Please have someone call me if you are interested in my comments

Sears sent a third party repair service. They came out three times over the course of six weeks total (waited two weeks between each visit). Could not repair freezer unit. Last repairman said the part he brought would not fix the problem but they had to do it anyway. What? Didnt make sense to me. Tried to call Sears; waited online for over an hour each time; no one answered. Tried to email; email box is full. I will never use Sears again. Very dissatisfied. And they still have my warranty money that is good for another year. Not happy.

Calling for a repair is a nightmare! You get an appointment and then another company Sears subcontracts with calls and changes the appointment. Several calls later with long hold, lost calls I was able to verify my appointment. The day of the appointment a very nice repairman comes, without the parts which have to be ordered! Now I have to wait another 2 weeks to get my refrigerator fixed! This is crazy because they were pretty sure it was my compressor! APPARENTLY THAT IS WHAT ALWAYS BREAKS ON A 3 YEAR OLD KENMORE REFRIGERATOR! Sears you need to get your act together!!!
Honestly at the beginning very disappointing experience. To make an appointment is a nightmare.But the third party that came was very helpful I will call them directly from now one. and I got lucky because refrigerator only need maintenance. Thank you J&M appliance repair.
I have a defective freezer door that was ordered on 9/29/20 (from the chat I just had with Sears online), almost a month after the technician came out to verify the issue. The ice maker stopped working about 3 months ago and Sears came out to repair. The technician found 8 broken wires in the harness of the freezer door that he spliced together. Now it happen again, the end of August, and a technician came out and verified the issue and submitted to get the freezer door replaced. I was told yesterday (9/29/20) that it was going to be 8-10 weeks (as it was just ordered) to get the part manufactured. Almost a month later since the door was placed on order by A-1 appliances. I’m having to buy ice for the family at about $20 a week. At this rate, I’m going to buy about $200 in ice. At this point I would like to get a new refrigerator or my money back for my inconvenience. I was told that after 30 days a replacement could be ordered or a refund issued so I can get a new one. This is the first time I’ve had an issue with a Sears appliances (over 35 years of loyalty), but at this point I’m very disappointed in the design and how Sears has been handling this issue.11/18/20 UpdateRepair man from Sears came out to replace the freezer door after waiting 2 1/2 months for the door to be delivered. After all that, the door did not fit properly. The technician tried everything, but the door just would not seal. The technician then reinstalled the original door, which fit like a glove with the bad harness so the new door must be warped. Still will not make ice. Now the open door indicator comes on when either door is opened for about 30 seconds. When this happens I cant use the outside dispenser to get water or ice (that I manually fill from ice we buy). Tried calling my Sears rep twice on the 18th (with the technician still at my house), but no reply. Tried calling again on the 19th, left meassage again and still no reply. At this point I would not recommend Sears for anything! I have been a loyal customer since 1984 without any issues, but now it seems like the customer is a non priority! I have been tryng to get my money back since I have a protection plan so I can go buy refrigerator that will work. Sears have been out 4 out times for this same issue!!!
My refrigerator was out for over seven months finally got that fixed. My washer has been out for months tech came out still not working I don’t know when he will be back to finish. So I do not have a washer I have to go to the laundromat no fun

The Sears technician Chris that came from A&E was great and fixed the problem but had a harrowing experience for one month with a third party technician Sears sent thru Stella Appliance.
I extremely pleased with the service I received from my technician Rosendo, he was very professional, explained what the problem was with our freezer, called and located the part need to fix our freezer, went and picked it up and a very short time and completed our service in a very timely manner. He even gave me the contact info for use to request a reimbursement form for the large amount of food we had recently stocked up for the holiday season.
I will never buy an extended service warranty from Sears ever again! I purchased a Kenmore Elite dishwasher on 10/2017 and have experienced nothing but problems. Sears has sent technicians to my home at least 5 times to completely rebuild my brand new dishwasher and it still doesnt work correctly. Now Sears is refusing to replace the lemon dishwasher and has lost records of our service calls despite the fact that I have email proof of multiple service visits and repairs. #boycottsears

He told me what I need to do to keep it maintain and show me patiently how to unscrew for the bulbs changing and etc. he also help and show me the dishwasher filter and what to do to keep everything clean. The technician who repaired my Kenmore Elite refrigerator was exceptionally polite and professional. He was very knowledgeable and competent in the service performed. He also provided tips and information to help keep the appliance running well and prolong the life of the appliance. I very much appreciate the quality of service I received.
The Repairman inspected and cleaned both washer and dryer and then repaired the washer. I expected a much higher bill and was pleasantly surprised by the VERY reasonable charge. I would recommend Sears repair any day. I have used them before and they are always polite courteous, efficient and on time.
Technician was incompetent--ordered the wrong part, and didnt even record the service number correctly on the forms, which led to huge confusion later when we were trying to figure out what was going on with the repair status. So Sears charged me $4000 for a water heater, cancelled that order, and then ordered a SECOND water heater without consulting me first, leaving me with a $8000 credit card balance, since it took several days for the refund to process. Sears never discussed the second charge with me; I had to find out when my credit card company marked it as potentially fraudulent.I had to visit this location in person to get clarification on this issue, since I did not have the correct service number and everyone on the phone was useless and just kept transferring me around to different departments. After making the 30 minute drive, it turned out that water heater I needed was on back order and there was no date for when it would be restocked. So much time and money wasted for no purpose.I ended up cancelling the service and going to a local repair shop, which took care of it in less than a day. But I still had to pay a $99 diagnostic fee for the privilege of being jerked around and stressed out and trapped in a pit of incompetence. I would like that money back, but Im not hopeful.Thanks, Sears. Thanks.

The young man arrived when he said he would. He worked with my dishwasher for quite awhile. He decided nothing was wrong and started to leave when the washer did not drain. He was surprised at that and put a new pump on. It worked to his satisfaction and he left. I used the washer the next day and again it did not drain. I called and made another appointment. I am really not happy it will take a week and a half before anyone can come out again. The repair man was most helpful with hints on what dishwasher soap to use and how much. He was always polite and friendly.

My fridge is only 1 1/2 years old. Went out completely. I have an extended warranty also.( extended warranty means extend the time to repair. What a joke.) I called in for repair, they said they would be out in 2 weeks. Repairman came out and said, quote, we always have trouble with this model, it’s a bad compressor and bad condensor, have to order it. Be back in two weeks. Two weeks later they rescheduled again, delivered bad condensor, order another one. Another tech comes out says it’s the mother board, have to order, reschedule again two weeks.mother board back order, reschedule again. After 7 weeks finally repaired. I HOPE!!!!! Sears has the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Every repair number you call goes to I think Guatemala. They don’t speak understandable English. You just get the run around. Worst repair group also, except for the final repairmen that finally fixed my fridge. Other repairman acted like they really didn’t want to work. I’ll never buy from or recommend anyone to Sears. Go on line and look at all the complaints on Sears service. Customer satisfaction, I don’t think so.

Arrived ON TIME, pleasant, and ready to work. Did a splendid job of cleaning my washer and dryer as well as checking on all working parts. The Serviceman was very professional, from his clothing and demeanor, to his actual skill in performing the task.
I scheduled the appointment and was given a 4 hour window between 1 and 5. When I made the appointment, I told them I probably wouldnt be home until 2. They said that was fine and that I could call a few days before to try and narrow the window. I called 3 days before and asked to have them come after 2. The morning of the appointment I received an email that my appointment was between 1:15 and 3. I called them again and said I wouldnt be home that early. They said no problem and they would let dispatch know. At 1:30 I received an automated call that the technician was on his way and again when he arrived at 1:45. I called the appointment line again and asked them to have the technician wait because I was almost home. They said he would leave if I wasnt there. I was really upset because I did everything possible to narrow down the appointment after 2 and they repeatedly told me it was no problem and then they still arrived before 2 and threatened to leave if I wasnt there. Fortunately I got home just as the technician was getting back in his truck and he did the repair and now my dishwasher works.
Great customer service, technicians are very professional and polite. Tech called to provide up to date status of arrival and any problems of other appointments running longer than expected. Highly recommend Sears home repair!!
Sears home service is not the same and it used to be. Had to wait three weeks for an appointment to then be told they needed to order a part, even though they knew what part needed to be ordered before hand. Then had to wait another week for someone to come out and put the part in. Both service men were not friendly and seemed impatient.
I had sears service technician come out for washer repair. The tech was on time, professional and thorough. The only downside was the cost otherwise I would give 5 stars.
If i could give negative stars, I would have. It took 2 weeks to get an appointment for refrigerator/freezer not working. Repairman came out and said it needed new compressor and would order part. 10 days later after being on hold for over an hour, then disconnected 2 times. i finally got through. Short story, part was not ordered, no future apt and now the warranty has expired. I will change my rating as I am now on hold again going on 45 minutes to see how Sears will deal with this.

The sears tech DID NOT show up for sched.appointment. No phone call or text. We waited all day to hear from someone. Then I was on hold to speak to someone re. this issue yesterday,22nd Aug. for over 2 hours. now we have to wait until Sept. 5th for a service call. This is unacceptable treatment
The service I received was exceptional. He was very thorough, friendly and effective. My refrigerator is now working exceptionally well.
Service was excellent. He could not correct the problem because it was not in the appliance but in the plumbing. He was able to diagnose the problem accurately. It is now fixed and the dish washer is working fine.

I had two separate appointments. Both technicians arrive together, however, the AC technician left because I didnt answer the door quick enough. The othee technician came in did his job, service my refrigerator, washer and dryer. He told me the other technician didnt want to wait so we left.I change my work schedule in order to have my appliances service. I spent practically the whole day waiting, only two have half the job done. I contacted Sears service floor managerDarcelle, who refused to send another technician out. She told me I have to reschedule for another day. I explained to her that I change my work schedule in order to accommodate the technicians, and was unable to do it again. She still refused to send out a technician the same day. I paid a lot of money for a Sears service contract, and this is the type of service I received. No wonder they trying to unload there Appliance section.Very poor customer relations.
Repairman came around 5 pm, late. Took time off work. Repairman said he didnt know how to install the parts. He took the parts with him. All Im asking/wanting is a decent cheap dishwasher that works. Which is what the Master Agreement says, this is apparently not repairable. This dishwasher has leaked & had problems many times. Needs removed & a new regular, cheap dishwasher that works without all the drama. Please reply so that I can make arrangements to be home when Sears installs the new dishwasher.

The first time I waited the entire day and no one showed for appointment. Afterwards I called to complain and was given a 20% discount on service or the call. That is what the person on the phone told me. When the technician came he said it didnt apply to the service call. I didnt get the ice maker fixed because it is only leaking. They wanted to charge $700.00 to replace the ice maker. I believe that they over charge because it is more profitable to get the $100.00 service call for doing nothing. I will never use Sears repair service again.
Terrible its been a nightmare!!!! been without refrigerator for 2 months!! the last tech declared and said unit not repairable, yet I have to re-schedule another app for another tech to take pictures of the unit to confirm proper documentation for unit considered none repairable before I can get approved for a replacement

Called to get Dryer fixed, Sears Home Services were able to come out the same day, she stated that some one would be here between 1-5pm and the Repair Man was here by 2pm, fixed my dryer and was all covered under my warranty. The Services Man was very knowledgeable and very efficient.
After one month the washer has been repaired. I do not fault the Sears employees, I fault the Sears service business plan it has given us a lot of grief. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. I thank Recardo very much for the repair of our washing machine. He stayed until we made sure the machine was working properly. I give him five stars!

Weve used Sears Home Services 3 times now, and all 3 times theyve arrived 2 - 3 hours past their scheduled window times. The 1st time I can understand, 2nd time is frustrating but is still acceptable, the 3rd time tells me there is something wrong with either their systems or the technicians and is unacceptable. To top it off, I receive a phone call the night before telling me the Technician is scheduled to arrive between 8am -11am, I happened to receive an email the same night, that tells me the Technician is scheduled to arrive between 1pm - 3pm. So which one is it? What time does the Tech arrive? 5pm!!! Simply unacceptable.

My oven has been out since before Easter. We had two service people come to our house; one took a part to be fixed. If I had not called on July 5 (no one came to our house), I would not have been able to get Sears to agree to a new oven. Now I am trying to be patient waiting for them to contact me about how to get the new oven. It should not have taken this long.

Service was good but this washer is a lemon. It has never cleaned my clothes and leaves soap on them or doesnt get them completely wet. When I emailed kenmore who is owned by sears, they wont even respond to me. All of my apliances are from sears unfortunately looks like they wont be in the future.

Resolve my problem that day with a quick answer.
First visit technician was due between 1 PM and 5 PM. About 6 PM I called the contact number and was told the technician was running late. NO KIDDING. Did anyone try to call me to tell me before the window was missed? NO! Technician finally showed up and spent 15 minutes diagnosing the problem then gave me an estimate of about $375 to repair or I could pay $99 for the service call. I opted to have the repair done and he ordered the repair part and made an appointment to install the following week on Friday between 1 PM and 5 PM. Pat arrived the following Thursday, but Service notified my son of its arrival via text (not me even though I made the original appointment). On the day of the appointment I rushed home to be there before the 1 PM appointment time. After waiting all day with NO word, I called the contact number about 6:30 to see what happened. After wading through the dumb robot answering I finally got to a real person to ask what happened and why was I not notified if the technician was going to be late. Person taking the call at ;first had trouble finding the appointment and kept asking for my phone number. He finally found it but didnt know why the technician was late and said he would notify the technician to call me. Tech did NOT call but did show up about 30 minutes later. WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER AND AFTER SPENDING ABOUT 30 MINUTES AT MY HOUSE HE CHARGED ME ABOUT $240 FOR LABOR!!! SEARS SERVICE has NO respect or regard for the customer and at these rates they seem to just rub it in your face. NEVER HAVE SEARS SERVICE FIX YOUR APPLIANCES!
Both techs that came to the house were very professional.1st tech 9/22/16 - there was bill problem and he couldnt fix on bill. I was charged for year service when I had previously purchase a 5 year service agreement. He was unable to take off bill. He ordered part for my repair.2nd tech was over booked on his day in my opinion. My window was 1-5 and he arrived to fix my dryer at 630 pm....I have no clue if anyone was ever able to fix my bill. I find it very unfair that I wasnt contacted that my previous service agreement had expired on 8/30 and I need help on 9/19. Service on 9/22 which then I was offered a 1-3-5 yr plans....they wouldnt let me put this repair under the 5 yearr plan I purchased for $700.00+!!!! I ended up being charged 426+ to fix dryer and service washer that day. Thought unfair........plus your people on the phone to schedule do NOT speak English.....VERY hard to understand!!!!!!
I have a Samsung Lemon. This is the third time for my freezer, over freezing.This time the technican changed out some parts. Kudos for him. So, its confirmed the previous technicians were incompetent. Its hit or miss!Well see how long this lasts.

The technician came to fix a loose handle on our Kenmore Elite oven door. All he did was take a tool and tighten it. ( no charge for $100 plus bill) Couildnt the customer service operator have suggested tightening it?

It took 3 service calls over 3 weeks to repair our Samsung washing machine. The first technician diagnosed a bad pump and ordered the part, After the part arrived, the second technician advised that it was the wrong part AND that a pressure switch was needed. Finally, on the 3rd visit, the the right parts arrived and the technician was able to complete the repairs. Being without a machine and having to slum-it at the laundromat was a huge pain in the butt. Sears did send us $50 to offset our laundromat costs.

Got the job done but the tech needs a powwow with his superiors. Complained about his job and how service personnel on phones dont know what theyre doing. He says they order unnecessary parts, make him drive back to drop off unused parts, making him late to other appointments. He actually said Ill show them ... referring to taking parts he didnt need for my service appointment back to his home office making him either late or become a no-show to some of his appointments. Whether he has a point or not, he shouldnt be mouthing off about his job to a customer. There are ways to resolve company issues internally ... either his voice isnt being heard or hes not taking the initiative to express his opinion and offer out solutions. Sears is a huge corp so I doubt the latter is happening.

My Tosheba TV...could not be repaired at the time Sears Repair man came to repair it. So, I was given $550.00 towards another TV at Sears. I will be going to Sears on Sunday to pick out a new TV.Thank you, Mary Nuckolls
Very frustrated because we are on hold once again until parts come in for our washer.This will now be the 4th repair within a little over a month. Weve been having to go to the laundry mat for a month due to our washer not working.This waiting for the appointment ...being told they have to order parts...waiting for the parts to come in and the appointment for installation...then getting it repaired ...and it breaking down again...is not okay....then the process starts over again. We are on our 4th round of this....meaning...appointment to check the machine...appointment to come in to install ...making this 8 total visits where we have to make sure someone is home for the four hour window that is given to us. We are not pleased with this process.
