Called in around 12 o’clock asked to set up appointment at 4:30 PM arrived at the barbershop at 4:20 just to find out that I got switched to 445 been here waiting ever since and still not gonna get my haircut worst service I ever been sad part I was recommended to this place very horrible even Espanola New Mexico service is better !!!!!!!

It was nice getting a haircut after 6 months, and there was only a few clients @the time, the staff was wearing a mask and I kept my @ all the time. Something to remember is that they only take cash, maybe Sams barbershop staff should remember clients @ the moment of scheduling the appointments. Overall, I like the service & the staff was friendly.

Second time there great place

I have been going here since it opened and now bring my children here as well! Awesome place to get all the cuts and the pricing cant be beat for real. Alot of places like to price gouge and charge $25 for a fade when its not even all that. Here you get value in every cut and Quality which is what means the most to me and mine!

I don’t even write reviews however this place has consistently provided such poor service it’s inspired me to do so. They shouldn’t even accept walk-ins if they are going to provide such a very poor level of service. If you don’t know one of them don’t go.

I have been going to Sam and Sons for almost 20 years before Sam Sr. even had his own business. The barbers there treat you like family and all of them are skilled at their craft. I have never gotten a bad haircut here and am always happy to come back. Walk-ins are welcome but the wait time usually ends up being longer than an hour so I recommend making an appointment. They have raised the prices fairly recently but the prices still arent outrageous and are pretty low compared to some places out there.

Honestly so iconic they cut hair so good like how do you do that im quaking. theyre so nice and amazing too. i know if i go back and shave my head they will do a gr8 job!

Has really gone down hill. If you don’t have an appointment they will literally make you just sit there until the woman in the back calls on you. She not bad but, seriously, how can someone know who to set an appointment with if you’ve never been called on by someone other than the old woman in the back?? Not ever going back. Great, customer oriented service. I didnt see one barber using their cell phone the entire time we were there. They listened to me about my sons cuts and they came out great! In spite of 6 people waiting in the lobby, they got us in for walk ins within 6 minutes! Weve finally found a barber well keep returning to. Thank you!

You cant beat the price for an excellent haircut. Great to be able to watch TV while getting your hair cut too. I really recommend this place for anyone who lives in or near Rio Rancho. You could also put your name on the list if its really busy, leave and come back and get your hair cut. Very friendly staff too. I get my hair cut from Chris or Sam Jr. They both do an excellent job every time. Sam Jr also accepts appointments so call ahead to get a slot!Josh

Im from Boston, lived in Abq, and moved to Pennsylvania. I CAN NOT find a barber shop as good as my boys Sam, Andrew, John, and everyone else. These guys go to trade shows all around the US, and if you ask me they could charge a lot more for their service. This shop is quality at its finest. I make a point to get my hair cut every time I go back to town because I cant get my hair cut as well where I live now.
