One of the worst haircuts I have ever had. They are more concerned about socializing then actually cutting hair correctly. Cant believe this place has 5 stars. Must be from people who want to sit and talk rather then receive a good hair cut. Talk about a cliche, actually watching Barbershop movie while cutting hair. I guess if u want to sit and talk for an hour this is your place. Me got better things to do with my life.

My two sons just started going here and they will continue. The people who cut hair here are professional and do an excellent job. As a mom of teenagers, I recommend this place.

Ive had three haircuts at Mr Js. Ryan, Mario, and wish I could remember the third barber, sorry Dude, lol?They were all professional, friendly, and easygoing. They all got my basic haircut spot on, then it only cost $13.Even saw some guys with 21st Century haircuts that I might have tried if I was 20 years younger, lol?Good haircut, good conversation, and a great price. I took my 2yr old for his haircut and I wish I got the guys name that did it. He was kind, kid friendly and did great. He was patient with my little guy who was a bit reluctant at first! I highly recommend!

Great guys and great service. Came in to have my beard shaped, that I’ve been growing out for 4 months. I brought in a couple of pictures of what I wanted, had a discussion about it with Mr. Jay, and he delivered 110%. I got the beard design that I wanted, and some great advice on getting my mustache grown to the way that I want it. The prices are extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY reasonable! Having only gone to a barber shop once before, I went to MR Js barber shop not knowing what to expect. Right of the bat Mario got me in a chair and talked to me about what I wanted. He listened but also gave me his own expert oppinion. After a pleasant 15 or 20 minutes of talking with him he had given me the best haircut Ive gotten. I was very surprised when it only cost 13 dollars as he could definitely charge much more. I will definitely be returning.

Out of all the shops here in town, this one is by far the best one. All the barbers are friendly and know what they are doing. Ive tried them all out and have had a excellent hair cut each time. Its a laid back old school barber shop. And they are always joking around and making you feel at home.

I love bringing my boys to Mr. Js, I have 4 of them and it can get expensive no matter where we go so we cant go in too often. All of the barbers here are great with them, they talk to them about what they might be interested in and joke around amongst each other, which makes it fun. I have never had an issue with different prices like one if the other reviews stated. Now, my boys have at times chosen less basic haircuts and that is when it might be a couple dollars more, but I dont mind paying it because they do such am amazing job, take their time with them, and sometimes get a little creative with their hair as a result of getting to know my boys and what they like. My 3 year old also loves their newest family members, the clown fish. Of course he calls them both Nemo.

MR Js is great! I paid $10 for a basic mens haircut and the barbers were very friendly. My $10 did not cover a rinse, but I give them 5 stars for an affordable, yet quality haircut provided by friendly staff.

I was a Supercuts customer for 30 years. Today I found out their pricing for all haircuts is now $17.99.I did some searching on Google and found Mr. Js Barber Shop.. Had a pleasant experience and my buzz cut only cost $5! Definitely coming back.

Haircuts are okay, atmosphere is not very friendly. The barber get in disagreements/arguments with each other. Pricing is okay but barber charge what they want with no real structure one barber will charge you one price and another will charge you more for same cut. Wouldn’t recommend

So upset...about my first and last visit. I paid $20 for a mediocre haircut to this barber (I am not going to mention his name) Not to mention he cleaned his clippers with compressed air. I am not sure how this placed got 4.9 satisfaction rate.

I was searching for a barber shop in Rio Rancho, and i came across this online, also on YouTube and me and my son had such an amazing experience there, all the employees were awesome, friendly and funny and we got a great hair cut too. Would highly recommend to anyone how needs a good shave or hair cut.

Employees nice and friendly, except for the apparent Owner, who spent several minutes picking pimples on his face while looking in the mirror (I couldnt make this up, it was disgusting). My adult son asked for a medium length hair cut and it was cut much shorter. When he expressed concern, I heard the barber tell him, It will grow out. Wont be going back.
