I have been getting my nails done for a long time and I’ve been to a lot of nail places but this one has to be my all time favorite! It never disappoints. It’s always clean and there are plenty of good people working so you don’t have to wait long. They don’t overcharge or have hidden fees and they don’t take forever! Jennifer and Tammy are great!! Highly recommend!
I normally dont do reviews but in this case I will. I visited this shop this past Saturday. It was me and my sister-n-laws. We totally forgot to bring our buffers and nail files (which is a great concept). I picked up 3 of the buffers and nail files and proceeded to look through my purse to see if I had one in there from my previous visit ( I carry a large bag). I handed one of my sister-n-laws the buffers and files while I looked. The owner came over (I didnt get her name) and tried to look into my purse...I guess assuming that I stole one of her $2 buffer and file. Im not easily angered and didnt respond, however my sister-n-law did. I have visited this establishment several times and LOVE the services I received, however, last Saturday will be the last time. I could have taken my $166 (I paid for all of us) elsewhere. I should of walked out but I didnt. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYTHING CONSIDERING I DONT HAVE TO SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEY WITH YOU. This one was located in the shopping lot beside Kroger.
Love to go with my husband for a duo pedi monthly. They are so kind.
I’ve been here a few times. It’s not the best but if you just want some cheap pampering, it might be an option. Their nail polish is cheap. Both the gel and regular polish chip in a few days for me. They have the same colors. My last experience was the most disappointing. The young lady doing my nails was on her phone. And the pedicure chair was broken. It wouldn’t move backward so I was uncomfortable the entire time. And the massage didn’t work. She knew it didn’t work when she tried to move me backwards, but she kept me there anyways instead of moving to a different chair. She didn’t tell the manager. I did during check out.
Le, Lyn and Tiffany are wonderful. Friendly atmosphere and on time appointments. Love this salon!
Took my daughter for birthday nails, and was cheated out of $80. We showed a picture, asked them to be done the same way, just slightly shorter...Tim Truong, gave her only HALF the length she asked for. Went back to speak with owner Tina the next day and was told, If I was here, he would have charged you more If you take your kid just be sure to sit beside them the whole time.
My first pedicure ever. It was fantastic! The staff were very knowledgeable about each service that they provide & performed them expertly.
Overall the experience was okay, my nails looked good, the staff was nice and the space was clean. The only downfall is that the nail tech cut my toe and knicked 2 of my fingers with an emery board.
Nails cut too short, tech. was too busy answering phone calls and talking to other techs. Not happy with service
Will not return. Was serviced by an older lady. Very poor quality. Will have to redo polish myself.
Horrible job.. the next day my nails were bubbling and chipping off. I came back again to get them fix and the same day it did it again. A waste of my money
I thought it was very cute how they have a kid cheer for the pedicures. My daughter felt very at home and comfortable this was her second pedicure in her life shes only 6 years old and they had someone cater to her they let her pick her colors and they put it little design on her toes the prices were decent. At the end the guy at the register counter he told me to leave and I was confused and he was pointing to the door so I was walking towards the door and then the lady that had did my nails she ran up and said you pay now and I said okay sure. The language barrier wasnt helping anybody the girl that did my daughters toes she talked but I could barely understand her and the guy that did my pedicure he didnt talk at all so that kind of made me feel uncomfortable and maybe he doesnt speak the language but then they should have a translator. So as I was paying I asked okay we did our feet when can we come back to do a manicure and the lady said no we dont do that. Manji the place is called nails for you so Im sure they do manicures and pedicures but we could not understand each other and maybe she thought I was trying to leave without paying but that was not the case. I will go back most likely I just dont love the place because the language barrier made it hard for anybody to understand each other.
I paid $60 for a gift card and wasn’t told anything about it expiring. They just took my money and gave me the gift card. The lady said the card wasn’t valid because she was trying to use it past the expiration date.So basically I paid for a service and they refused to give me the service I paid for because of the date.I didn’t know I had to check behind you guys and figured if there was an expiration date, you’d tell be before I paid you my money.I can’t imagine someone paying me for a service and then not providing that service over an arbitrary date.
Everyone here was very nice. I didnt even know the kind of service I need it for my natural nails, I just told them what I was thinking and they knew just what I needed! Its been a week, and my nails get abused daily at my workplace, and they still look gorgeous! I will definitely be back to this place!
I really like the people that work here, very pleasant and do a good job, but the main attraction was the gel manicures were $25. They just went up to $30 (Im guessing trying to make ends meet during COVID), so Ill probably go elsewhere for better pricing in the future.
This is the only place I get my feet and nails done
It’s a no for me, they always changing the prices. Don’t get me wrong there nice but foreal do not go it is a waist of money and time.
They to a very good job on pedicures. A little pricey, but very clean and friendly.
Tiffany is fantastic!! My nails always looks great.
I went to buy a gift and get a manicure. But the man who attended me was rude to me, he is supposed to guide and attend to you, not so that I can give him a terrible mess.
Worse pedicure ever. Would not take care of heels. Woman was very distracted. Then they charged me $3 for a pedicure set I didn’t ask for and they didn’t tell me about until I paid my Bill. Will not go back. Over priced!
They did an awsome job on my nails. The employeed were friendly.
I’ve been coming here for about 3 years to get my nails done. I have longer nails so I usually pay a little more for services but no more than $50 plus I tip. I came in today and the lady says “it’ll be $80 for a fill in”. Mind you, I was just in there two weeks ago, Tim did my nails and they were $55. I usually go to Steve or Justin and it’s been no more than $50. If the tech didn’t know how to do long nails she should’ve said so. Don’t open a nail business if you can’t or don’t know how to service nails of different lengths, shapes, styles etc..
I’ve gone here for years and so excited they are back opened! Love my new mani/pedi! Ask for Lee, she’s the best!
Great experience, very relaxing and quick service. Will definitely return and ask for Tracy!
Customer service is great but I got a gel manicure on Wednesday and the polish is already peeling and it hasn’t even been a week yet.
My daughter and I went there a few times trying to find a new salon since our nail techs that did our nails for years moved out of state. First time for us was good. Second and third time—absolutely horrible! Three of My daughter’s nails broke within a week. There was so much acrylic left on the side of our nails to the point where it was starting to overlap onto the finger. We had to point out areas that needed to be cleaned up. Overall bad experiences... We decided to go elsewhere.
Good service, covid conscious, great eyebrow wax and nail job.
Le is an expert at her trade. Great service and comfortable with no worries about the virus because of all the safety items they have out in place.
Never again will I waste my time and money. Just needed a polish change on my toes. The lady was rude, didnt remove all of thecold polish and put the new polish over top. She didnt correct the extra polish. It looks like my 5 year old polished my toes. I asked if she going to fix it she didnt answer looked at me like Im crazy🤦🏾♀️😵🙄
Great place
They are more expensive than any other nail salon in the area. When I asked for the price to have my little girls nails just painted I was told that it would be $5 or $8 and I said that $8 was fine. They charged me $20 at check out. I picked an opal white for my color and when they put it on it was definitely hot pink. I said I needed something lighter and they said they didn’t have anything else and that it was too late to change anyway. When I told her that I would not be coming back, her exact words were “I don’t care”. Not only are my nails hot pink but they are full of bubbles and other mistakes. Worst nail place ever!
Nails For you I completely did not like at all. The nail polish kept coming off as soon as I left. The design is horrible. I am so so upset! This is really unprofessional. My nails have never looked worse. I am so discouraged and upset. My nails are now ruined and I will never go back to this service. It is the worst. I have never seen poor service like this in 20 years of getting my nails done. I am hurt and discouraged. Going forward my nails will have to be done somewhere else. I would not recommend this place at all. 1/10
This place is horrible. My nail tech was really mean and didn’t like that I told him what was wrong even though I was paying. The job was REALLY MESSY and UGLY. The nail polish was VERY UNEVEN. He was getting very angry at me because I kept telling him this. He just kept trying to hide it with more coats. I also showed him the design I wanted he said ok; then after he did all the painting he said that he couldn’t do my design. The pedicure was also horrible he just painted on top of my cuticles without fixing them. They took a long time also I was late for my sons moving on to middle school ceremony. The manager was very nice. The owner however wasn’t very nice about it she said that the tech did a good job even though she wasn’t here and could only see pictures. I still had to pay full price for the pedicure. This was my first and last visit to the shop. I posted this and then the owner called the manager and told him that if we deleted this that we wouldn’t have to pay. I went with my daughter and I had to pay hers. My nail tech also chipped my nail in the middle bye scraping off my old polish. DON’T GO HERE. Also check the photos.
My daughter and I went to the new location in the Marketplace on the corner of Staples Mill and Hungary Springs, it was a pleasant experience. The only bad note I have is the receptionist was very short and to the point, no smile, she certainly doesnt exude great customer service, I felt as though I was inconveniencing her. The majority of the time was wonderful with the two technicians that took care of myself and my daughter, we were very talkative and asked a lot of questions and they were ready with the answers. They impressed me a lot, very professional and amiable at the same time. The two techs were Linda and Nary, I would definitely ask for them the next time. The place was very clean, if I would want any change it would be to have a more welcoming receptionist, I did not get her name.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere, no wait most of the time. They have 2 locations across the street from each other. The newer one has over 10 nail techs, so you dont have to wait forever as a walk-in. They actually listen to what you want and dont argue if they get it wrong. I wish they had one closer to me, but it is worth the drive. The best gel set I have ever had.
Ive been going to Nails 4U since I moved to Richmond 2 years ago. My best friend Angie took me and weve been going there tohether since. I absolutely love everyone that works there. They always do a great job. Everyone that works there are awesome. They make you feel welcome. Almost like family. Ive tried going to a couple different salons closer to home and wasnt pleased. Ill never go anywhere else but to Nails 4U as long as I live in Richmond. Definitely worth my 30 min drive! 😁😍
First two times I went I enjoyed my services. Got exactly what I wanted. This last time, every chair and recliner was full. You had to scoot by without messing up what you just paid for. Young technician who was doing my nails began rushing when a client had returned for the second time to get something done. Very rude. Technician and her team missed out on healthy tip since she orchestrated a team to do my nails and feet, my daughters nails and feet, my nieces nails, another nieces nails and feet and my mothers nails. Oh did I mention the rude client did not schedule an appointment and only wanted her eyebrows done and did not give her a tip. So Sorry So Sad. Wont go back.
Justin is the best tech Ive had
The guy was nice but my nails came out terrible. I had to go back twice to get them fixed and one of my nails literally broke from me just scratching my hair. I should have just stuck to the usual nail place I go to. They also make excuses for the poor job they do and blame you for why the nails are cracking or breaking. Never again.
Good service, nice inside but my shellac chipped after 1 day!!! I have been getting shellac manicures for 3 years faithfully every other week and decided to try here since I just moved and they were close. I will never ever be back and will warn anyone else not to go here!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!
I love this place. They’re clean, neat, & have sooo many colors to choose from. They make friendly conversations & a complimentary glass of wine is offered.
So i got my nails done yesterday and they were amazing exsept the person doin my nail told my sister to go to the end one and somebody would be with her and the going to do her nails told her to get up and took another customer but besides that i thank its ok
Tiffany is amazing! My toes feel so much better. No more ingrowns!!
Terrible service if I could give ZERO star I would, all they care about is making money.first time I went there they did nice job I was happy with. I next time was terrible and very bad job especially in pedicure I paid for the top option which is deluxe I wasn’t happy at all like didn’t do anything, I went back to show them The lady was explaining 10 minutes like I don’t know anything about pedicure stuff.Honestly it’s waisting time and money there ZERO stars, Very BAD SERVICE I don’t recommend it to any one
This was the first AND last visit! I walked in today (on a Sunday) around 3:20 and told the man that I would like a fill. He nodded and walked away. About 5 mins later a lady came to the register to check out another client out and asked me what I needed. I told her I wanted a fill. She starting speaking another language to another lady and then said they were not taking anymore walk-ins for the day, and that I could go ACROSS the street to their other location next to Kroger’s and get my nails done there. I thought I was being punked! I said excuse me and she said we are busy you can go across the street..... I was totally taken aback. I asked what time did they close and she said 5 but “we busy”.... they should have put a sign in the door or told me that they could not take me before letting me sit down. I walked out and will never go back!
They only had 2 techs SHOW up on time and then handled me and my daughter AFTER other people . meanwhile we had an appointment BUT my daughter loves their kid pedicure chair
Let me start by saying I’ve been here probably half a dozen times over the last couple years. Today was the last time. I had the weirdest experience ever and left feeling horrible. I went in asking to have them soak off my artificial nails because I needed a break from them and also to get a pedicure. The 2 male managers were acting strange after I told them what I wanted and like they couldn’t find an available technician even though there were 4 or 5 huddled around one table chatting. Finally this lady comes out and takes me to her station and asks me why I don’t want to get a fill in. She said she’d give me a discount if I got new nails instead of soaking them off. I again declined and said I just wanted them off and to get a pedicure. She sets up my nails to soak and takes me over to the pedicure station where everything went fine. She gave a wonderful pedicure and did a fantastic job. She took me back to her station once my pedicure was done to finish removing my acrylics and suddenly the nail technician in the booth behind us started speaking to her in a loud and clearly threatening and hateful way. This went on for almost 2 minutes. At this point my technician suddenly started crying and I was just in shock. She was crying so hard for the next 15 minutes she could barely finish taking off my nails. She said the manager yelled at her for not selling me a new set and something about giving me a bottle of water???!! Even though I purchased a pedicure?? She kept apologizing for crying and I felt horrible and was so confused and it was honestly humiliating. I’m still not sure what in the world happened but it was the most uncomfortable experience and needless to say I won’t be back.
The lighting is way too bright here. I enjoy softer lighter when getting my nails done so I can relax a little.
Just got a Gel full set this past Sunday and the polish completely chipped off as if I work in construction. This is exactly why I stopped going here. I love to get my nails done and don’t mind paying but not for every 3 freaking days. This is ridiculous 😡
I have been here several times clean atmosphere, nice people but they can’t do nails and unreasonable pricing. My gel set has chipped after one day of getting my nails done. This will be my last visit to this shop. I rather go to the nail shop by the gas station by my house.
Thida is the best at everything she does I love here to the moon and back... love the open space and decor... lovely people and they are affordable
Very professional staff. Got a Full Set French tips done and they started lifting less than a week later. Waste of $40. My pedicure was nice but very little effort was put towards it. I wont be returning. Found a small business that is five stars.
Angie does my nails. Shes excellent.
Very nice atmosphere and my tech did a good job on my nails.
Excellent customer service. Love the staff.
Love this nail shop. Been coming here for over ten years.
Long time customer! I have been going here for years. Great service everyone is great! My nail teach Christina is amazing!!!!
Clean, well-maintained, and organize! Theyre able to give me such a wonderful organic milk and honey pedicure! Very relaxing and Professional Service!
I will say it over and over love Lynn, who does my toes. She is amazing.
Made an appointment for 12:45. Got there a few minutes early. Told the girl our appointment time and she told us it would be a few minutes. Waited 20 minutes and overheard the same girl tell another customer who also had an appointment that they werent taking appointments today. It was first come first serve. Then WHY are you making appointments! Left immediately! Will not go back there.
A go-to salon for us. Great staff!
Great services, very polite! Definitely recommend.
I got my nails done here for the first time and Tiffany was my manicurist. She hurt me when she was filing my nails and it burned so bad. It seemed like she was in a hurry the whole time that she was doing my gel manicure. When she finished I gave her my money and asked for change, she brought it to me and the smallest bill was a $5, instead of $1s, and it just bothered me... Maybe thats just me, but I prefer $1s so that I can decide how much exactly I would like to tip. I gave her the $5 bill and then she left, so obviously she was indeed in a hurry to leave. My friend was getting her nails done beside me by a really nice lady who brought us wine and she was not even finished with my friends nails yet, so my friends manicurist was in fact taking her time and did a good job. That is why I gave the 2 stars, because my friends manicurist was good.I noticed when my manicurist was finished that the gel was really high up on my cuticles, so I knew when they grew out the gel would snag on things and cause issues because the gel would stick out from being taller than my nail. So I was already displeased overall. When she was getting my change I had to file the ends of my nails with my own file because my nails were rough at the ends while Tiffany was putting on her coat. She never offered to fix them when she saw me filing them. Also, on one hand my nails are longer than on the other hand. I wish I got the manicurist that my friend got instead of Tiffany because less than 48 hours after I got them done, my nail completely broke in half at the quick and I am going to have to get my nails redone again tonight and spend twice as much money on a what should have been 1 manicure, elsewhere. Not going back here unfortunately.I wish I had a good experience because it is near my house and they also had wine, but the whole process was just bad from start to finish.
I wish nail tech would not start new client until completely finish & satisfy previous client.Left client in nail dryer with nails that needed retouching while starting new client. Not good.
Had a wonderful experience last time I came here. Ask for Ha-Ann, she is wonderful.
The only nail salon I go to. Christina does my nails so perfect. Love her!
Best service, best prices, best people. Ive been going here for 7 years and havent looked back.
Didnt even cover my entire nail and its all over my skin with uneven top coat that you can see.
WARNING WARNING We were a wedding party of 11 who spent hundreds of dollars the day before my daughters wedding at nails 4 u on Staples Mill Rd. She had grown and conditioned her nails for months so to have her natural nails . They totally ruined her nails and by the time they spent 2 hrs trying to fix them they had filed them so short she did not have any length left they were not done but We had another appointment that had to be kept we agreed to come back after that appointment ( my suggestion NOT THEIRS) to see if they could fix them. She left with some type of glue looking stuff on them. The rest of us had paid and was charged more than they quoted. I told them I will pay for my daughters when we returned and they fixed her nails . All they were concerned about that I pay for her pedicure. We left with my daughter crying so upset REALLY ruined our whole day. Had to go somewhere else and 2 more of us had to have ours redone as well after spending 4 hrs here . PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THEM !! NO REMORSE then acted like real money greedy people that they are . Not even a apologyFolks understand it was her WEDDING FOR GOODNESS SAKE. And they messed up and not even a apology just kept wanting me to pay for her pedicure. Again we already paid around $500. But still I did pay for her pedicure . Having to go somewhere else was another expense and time spent .Please do not trust them for a special occasion .They do not care about you ! YOU ARE A DOLLAR NOT A PERSON !!!! p.s google makes me give at least 1 star to post NO STARS HERE
This has to be the worst nail salon ever, I brought my sisters and my stepmom by to get there nails and feet done. My sisters nails were done unprofessionally the first time, so one of the men there who now calls himself a manager fixed them. Well the next day her nails started to chip off. We went back to get them fixed and they stated that her nails were not their fault she should have gotten gel and that they would only fix them with a receipt. Which they did not give her to begin with. Save your time the nail techs suck and the Managers are rude.
I went and asked for shellac removal. I know you need to scrap the shellac off. And this is my finger after their employees used a course nail filer on the top of my nails. The ones they use to file the ends of our nails. Thats not even the right equipment to remove shallac. SHE JUST RUIN MY NAILS. I hope they have a standard equipment that doesnt make you nails looking like mine does. I went to the boss and she said it suppose to look like this to remove shellac. Ive them taken off before. The tops of my nails shouldnt have trenches on them. Her employee messed up.
Friendly staff and always love my nails.
Im not one to ever spread negative energy or even a bad review at that. I’m not super picky with my nails but this was the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon in my 17 years of getting them done. I was over charged, rushed, and dismissed when I pointed out an issue with my nails. I was charged 55 dollars because the way I wanted them done would take the nail tech longer amount of time and he rushed! The shape was horrible, the gel was clumped in some areas, half my of nail wasn’t even painted and not one nail looked like the other, I had nail polish all over my hands as well as my feet which were done by a different nail tech which took her 5 minutes to do my entire pedicure. When I went back because I was simply not happy which I’ve never done they said they were fine when In fact they weren’t when they were redone it was the same outcome at this point I was in there for 4 1/2 hours I didn’t have any more time to spend in there. I never received my money back after being charged wrong. I felt the need to write a review so none waste money or time like I did.
Got my nails done there less than a week had a crack nail. Got dip polish called the salon asked me to come in never repaired my nail just put top coat. Called to s/ w the manager didn’t sound sincere wanted me to come back in told him know and that he will let the nail tech Angie know she talked more then focusing on doing a good job. Service sucks and overpriced
I would frequent this nail shop faithful and I can honestly say I will never go back. My last few encounters have been rushed services where technicians do a piss poor job but beg for money and require that you give them a tip. I recently had them do my SNS manicure and now, a few days later, the manicure has begun to lift, chip and is dull. Of course the technician rushed on this job too. For something that’s supposed to last 4 weeks, 5 days is utterly unacceptable. If you can, avoid going here.
Theary was my technician and she was sweet, efficient, and fast! Good experience and my nails look great
Waste of spaceNice place with the rudest, worst nail techs everI got the works gel nails pedicure eye brows got the pricing up front.I had to ask 2 times to redo my toe nails, I just wanted them to look good. They were very rude and still my pink and white lines were crooked. When I went to pay they charged me $25 more than I was told up front. And 4 of them came to the counter to charge me including what I assume to be the manager. When I TRIED to ask about the pricing all I got was you pay now you pay now. can I say NIGHTMARE I will never go back there .
Tommy, Tiffany and Lynn are my favorites
This has been the worst nail establishment I have ever been to. A sign on the front of the shop advertised a free brow waxing with the purchase of the spa pedicure and gel manicure yet they charged me(looked at the receipt after I left) for my brows even after I pointed the sign out to them and they assured me that I wouldnt be charged. The guy doing my nails acted like he didnt want to be there half the time. You could see my nails through the polish and the polish was very uneven and messy even after I asked for another coat. There was polish on my actual fingers and the gel only lasted for 3 days maximum. These people are shady and Im not sure how theyre still in business.
So, Tim, did do a good job applying my acrylic dip nails however 2 weeks later when I had them removed, they soaked my hands in acetone and scraped at my nails and just completely killed them. My nails look horrible. I am disappointed because Tim had assured me that the extra $15 I paid for the dip technique would be a healthy way to protect my nails as they strengthen and grow. Their removal technique however completely ruins any kind of growth that has happened and totally dried out my skin. There has to be a better way to remove them and now I do not trust this salon at all. I have called and spoke with, Trang, she spoke over me and told me that it is my body that is the reason for my destroyed nails after I explained to her the harsh removal process I had received, and I politely asked her would she like me to come back so she can see them for herself. She said it is not our problem. I will be reporting this business and hopefully these frauds will soon be shut down and replaced. No wonder they are so big on advertising FREE WINE.
Great prices for a dip for your nails💅
Now that Christina is no longer there, I will not go back. She was the best one and has moved to Happy Nails on Broad by the Christmas Tree Shop. There have been five people leave in the last month, that says a lot.
These ladies always do a great job and are so sweet especially with my 5 yr old who had her first pedicure tonight.
I took my neice here to get pampered for her 5th birthday and we had an absolute blast! They have a Hello Kitty kids pedicure chair so we were able to sit together and get the full treatment! She was in heaven and the staff was fantastic!! I even got them to bring out a cupcake with a candle half way through the pedi and they all sang to her. Pricing was great, service was great, and we all left happy! Thanks for making her day so special- well definitely be back!
Terrible customer service! Just terrible! I went to get a pedicure. The tech starts off by putting ICE cold water in the foot tub. When I told her that it was too cold, she said okay and continued to run ice cold water and walked away. Another tech had to come by and turn the water off as it was starting to over flow. I delt with the cold water as I assumed it was a language barrier. The assigned nail tech returned, handing me a list of fragrances without explaining anything about what it is. When I asked, she just quoted prices. I replied I just want a regular gel pedi. She understands that! and proceeds with the pedi. She does the pedicure and not once did I see her use a pumice stone, cheese grater, or brush in the process. She drains the water out of the tub and starts putting on the polish. After the polish, she rubs oil on only my legs and rubs COLD stones on my legs (not in a massaging way)! Then she wipes the oil off with a COLD wet cloth! Now were done! I go to the counter and ask the American manager at the front desk; does a regular gel pedi include a footscrub? The nail tech interrupts stating my skin was too thin so she didnt use the cheese grater. (Im thinking, oh now she understands English.) The American women then states; correct, so in that case they would use a scrub brush instead of the cheese grater. I stated, there wasnt any form of foot scrubbing during this process. She replied in a whisper, when you come in next time just let me know about what happened today. Then tells me the price of my NON services. Wow! So many things wrong with this situation I replied. I know I still have to pay, but because I didnt get the full service, why am I expected to pay full price? Dont answer that, I just wont be back. I REALLY held back during this exchange because I honestly did not have the energy! ALL I have to say after reading these negative reviews similar to mine... STOP GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY! I usually go to Society Nails and Spa in the Shockoe Bottom Area, because they are GREAT! However, they were closed for a charity event, which sheds some light on how amazing they are. But again DO NOT GO TO NAILS 4 YOU SPA! STOP HELPING THEM STAY IN BUSINESS WITH THE TERRIBLE SERVICES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY PROVIDE. YOU DESERVE BETTER.Society Nails And Spa14 S 15th street, Richmond, VA 23219It May not be as large as Nails 4 U Spa. But you receive top notch service, and thats what matters.
Been going there for sometime now. Service is great and the placeis always nice and clean!! Would highly recommend
I love Patty!!! This is my spot! They do a great job and all the techs are friendly. 👍👍
I went the Saturday before Easter first thing in the morning for dip and pedicure. Christina did my pedicure which was fine. Some lady started my dip then I get switched to the lady that sits closest to the register I believe her name is Tina. She was too busy directing staff around especially the man that works at the desk. She stopped at least 10 times and walked around the store while doing my nails and kept complaining that the color I picked was too messy (light pink), idk. Not even a week later over half of my nails are popping off and 2 have already cracked. I’ve never been more disappointed. Also this is the only place I’ve ever been to that grinds your nails down and uses a UV light while doing SNS dip. Will not be returning!
I walked into the place and Im smiling and they are just staring at me until I asked if they could do a manicure and pedicure. Then some other lady says go pick a color. This is what needs to improve: a) their customer service and learn how to smile (speaking English and talking to the customer might help) and b) posting a sign in the back by the sink - cash only for tips would imply to me that they are not reporting their taxes the way they should. They should both change that policy (remind their customers that the ATM machine located in their shop isnt going to help their tips) and report their tips when filing taxes. c) they cleaned the sandpaper sponge with a brush while my feet are still in the tub - that was gross! I have nothing good to say about this place and will not return. They might want to pull the smart phone out of their ear and concentrate on the business.
I had the most amazing experience! Got a mani, pedi and my eyebrows done for an amazing price!!! Definitely going back and telling my friends about it!!!
Did a good job but could’ve been better. I’ll be back soon.
So disappointed! They rushed through our pedicures and did a sloppy paint job 😞. Were going back to Lilac next time, where they take their time and always do a neat and thorough job.
