I spent over $2,600 for Rainbow International to repair area of water damage in the ceiling of my home. After waiting for 3 months for them to come do a 1-day job, the freshly painted ceiling in my home developed large outlaying lines (see attached photos) upon drying. After reaching out to the project manager, he reviewed and said they would send someone back out to fix.I waited two weeks. No contact. Each week thereafter, I contacted Rainbow again asking for an update. No response. Ghosted as the kids say. Well over a month with no communication. After reaching out to a second project manager from Rainbow, I was informed that the poor craftsmanship paint job of my ceiling was not their fault and that they would not be coming out to repair. They could send me a quote for a new paint job if I wanted, but it would cost me.So to summarize, no communication, poor quality work, and do not stand behind their work.Avoid at all costs. I would rate a 0 star but Google only allows me to go to 1-star.
They were great very professional, Chris Smith the man in charge was great would recommend to ANYONE
They were very professional. They really worked with my crazy work schedule. Thanks a lot
Expectations exceeded! I own a small contracting firm that specializes in historic restoration and as a builder and developer, I realize that I am very particular, that being said, I have worked with other remediation groups in the past and none of them been nearly as professional as Aaron and folks at Rainbow International. Thank you doing exactly what you said you would do, in less time then we initially discussed.
Manny, Michelle and Richard have been outstanding to work with during such a difficult time. You must trust those around you and I trust Rainbow International. If a customer can choose the worker who the company sends out, ask for Manny. HE GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND, EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HONEST. My only reason for 3 stars is the staff is overwhelmed. Communication is key to keeping a distraught homeowner comfortable. Thanks for all the hard work! I will update my review once the project is done. (Claim started 8-16-18, demolition was completed very quickly, within 3 visits)
We had a small flood that caused major damage. Rainbow came in and everything has been amazing. Theyve removed the damaged floors, packed and stored two full rooms of furniture and stuff, and have been communicative and available at every point. I keep asking what I can do during this process and Manny tells me every time youve been inconvenienced enough. Well take care of you from here. I cant imagine going with another company and Im so glad we didnt!!
We had water damage to our ceilings, wall and hardwood flooring. Our insurance agent, Richard Johnson, Progressive Insurance, contacted Rainbow Restoration and Rainbow responded to us within 24 hours. Throughout our restoration Rainbow Restoration and the workers they sent were exceptionally professional. Everyone was kind, caring, respectful and did a superb job.We highly recommend Alex Berry, Rainbow’s General Manager; Chuck Cashion, RVA Contracting, and Mark Prince - These men, Alex, Chuck & Mark, gave us confidence during the restoration by responding to our texts within the hour and always keeping us informed of what the process would be and when things would be done. The individuals who came throughout the process --Christian & Brandon (hard workers who removed flooring initially and opened wall and ceiling so damage could be assessed), Jeff Kyte who removed all flooring that needed replacing and cleaned up the area, Ryan Long who professionally painted our ceilings and walls quickly and neatly, Mike Myers Floor Company who made our floors look amazing!, Lydia & Mario who cleaned our windows and cleaned away all of the dust before our return, Chris & Tyrone who moved our furniture back (a lot of heavy lifting and they were so careful not to scratch floors or walls -- they put felt pads under everything), and the Richmond Piano movers who removed and returned my piano with great care and a lot of muscle! We are very grateful for all of these people and their excellent work ethics!
Rainbow International has provided superior service to our customers on multiple occasions. Their staff has shown consistent competency, and more importantly, compassion while handeling water mitigation, mold removal, and fire cleanup.
Having worked for a general contractor for 6 years in commercial construction, I can safely say that I have never worked with a more incompetent group of people. Keep reading, this story should be entertaining. My water heater flooded my kitchen on June 14th. They were contacted (and to their benefit, came out) the next day to put in fans and a dehumidifier. It is now July 10th, and they STILL have not gotten around to tear the floors up. Its been one excuse after the other. Multiple project managers and supervisors FROM RAINBOW have come to my house to say damn man, this is pretty bad, why hasnt this work gotten done? I dont know Mr. Project Manager, why dont you tell me, its your company. My claims adjuster (Travelers) actually told me to go with another contractor because they werent getting the work done. When that contractor came out, he pointed out a bunch of stuff that rainbow did wrong, and said I cant believe they just left your house like this for 4 weeks. When their men came out (2 weeks after the flooding) to pull insulation out of the crawl space, they forgot their headlamps. I looked down in the crawl space while they were working, and saw that both of them were using their phones flashlights to do their work. I asked them if they needed a flashlight or something, and they just said naw we good. Okay. They left a bunch of insulation pulled down in my crawl space, and from what I can tell, had no intention of coming back out to finish the job. They have had their fans and their gigantic dehumidifier in my house for FOUR WEEKS now, and you know what? I may actually get to keep them. I may have to look into the abandonment laws in my state, because this company has never contacted me one time. Every single time something got scheduled, it was because I called them to remind them that they needed to send someone out to my house. This has been the most disgusting display of incompetence I have ever seen. Their project managers need to be fired. Whoever hired them needs to be fired, and whoever hired those people should retire.
An excellent deal
