I am writing a review from an experience about a month ago. However its a well deserved review for this location and staff. I was hesitant trying a new place out for my hair cut and styling but because I needed it so badly I took the chance and was blessed by the hands of Phylis. She worked her magic! She was patient, she listened to exactly what I wanted, she didn’t rush with me, she was very friendly, easy to talk to, made me feel like a million bucks with my hair, she was ON DEMAND! So many customers came to see her while she was working with me and as I felt that she may have to rush me out she didn’t, she made me feel at ease and still did her best to attend to her customers letting them know they will have to be patient and wait. Yes it may be annoying to wait but if you want the job done right then you have to be patient. I also want to highlight Amalia, she was very sweet and friendly. Overall, this Supercuts really amazed me and I am looking forward to going back in the future.

I checked in twice online to get a haircut and highlight. Online said I was checked in. Twice I was called on my way there to be told they couldn’t fit me in. The second time I asked when would be a good time for them and I was told to come today in the morning only to arrive at the salon and be told once more they couldn’t do my hair. So needless to say don’t waste your time.

I was attended by Naomi and she is very good at what she does. She understood what I wanted in a hairstyle and delivered it like a true professional. She is polite, friendly, attentive and accommodating. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a haircut and wants the style to suit their personality. Thank you Naomi, I will be back soon. Needless to say the place was kept very clean and inviting.

Updated : I appreciate the call back after my initial review, Marie fixed my hair and I now like my short hair even better. They look exactly how I want it to be. Thank you!! She was very professional and I could even tell what she’s doing. It was so satisfying to get back in there for the fix.First visit review : The lady Naomy was very nice - greeting and taking me in for a very short notice. I appreciate that.But she was super imposing. I showed her the picture of what I want. But I doubt she knew what she was doing.She literally ruined my very beautiful long hair (it was in a bad shape) to ugly looking short hair.I asked for a V at the back with layers, and I now have straight cut at the back. I wouldn’t use them again.To explain she said blowdry would change everything. Really!!

Phyliss is a rock star! She gives all her customers attention and has always fun stories to share. I liked the way she cuts the hair; it so professional yet so customized.

She was nice. Cut was fast and easy.

The service of this location is too worst. The service people are unprofessional and unethical. They checked in my son and me. After one hour, they asked me to come inside and offer a chair to my son and me. Right after asked my son to wait as she wants to take care of another person because she forgot to put him into the system and wants to take care of him. She was asking us to face problems for her mistakes which are unethical and unprofessional. Who will pay back my one-hour valuable time? Is she has an answer for this? If the people did not think wisely, people end up with nowhere. During pandemics, they are not following minimum ethics. I didnt realize when others are leaving from the walk-in queue. Two people went while I am waiting, but I didnt release that they are deliberately doing this to the people.

Phylis is a rock star! Never have a bad haircut with her. And she gave me the coolest tip for my hair that I never thought of but it works. Love the shop and they are so careful to protect their customers and employees. Wear your masks people!

There was only one here specialist when we got there. Since I had my kids with me so we ended up going to a different hair salon because they were closing soon when we got there. The place was very clean and I wish I could have checked the time before I went there.

Very bad experience, Amalia wasnt a trained barber whatsoever and didnt know what she was doing, during the haircut dropped comb like 2 3 times and asking her colleague how to do a 2 fade and if this is how I should do it, kept cutting my hair even if they were dry and didnt spray. Had to go another barber for a re-do for peace of mind. Extremely unhappy customer!

Amalia is a person you can feel extremely comfortable with, polite, caring, and trying and doing her best in her work. She is sweet, trustworthy and fun to chat with. My words worth nothing until you experience her work yourself.

Even though the other stylist were gone their stations were immaculate, like spotless; this is where ill be coming for a while. I have 3 daughters with thick, curly hair that can be challenging to cut and style.Victoria listened to what they wanted and gave them each great, stylish cuts in different lengths, from shoulder length to very short. She was a pleasure to work with and its clear she is very experienced with various types of hair. She also accommodated us last minute. Ask for Tenecia. End of Story.I wanted a change because my self esteem had hit an all time low. My hair was a mess. I had been rejected by stylist saying they don’t have experience cutting Afro hair. I went to a stylist, but he did a poor haircut I thought changing color to make it better, but Tenecia immediately recognized that I needed more than coloring. She was professional, Friendly, kept giving me complements, gave me knowledge on how to preserve my hair. She is the best. I will keep coming to her and getting my cut and color done. I loved this place. I went to get a hair cut for my crazy purple hair, and the lady gave me the exact thing I wanted. I got a Mohawk. The experience was so good that I got my mom to get a trim as well. We got out of their happy with what we got. I’m so glad I came.

Julie did an amazing job with my hair. First, she was very friendly and helpful. She took her time with me and helped me get to the bottom of what I wanted. I have not had a ton of hair stylists do this in the past. She gave me what I wanted and actually got into it and threw in her own spin on things once I told her I was completely cool with it. Will definitely be back to this location!!

I used to go to drive to the Galleria area to get my hair cut. But since moving to the Richmond area, I could no longer drive as far. Luckily this Supercuts opened not to far from my home so I though that I would give it a try.First off, let me say that the service was amazing. Walking in, everyone greeted me and I was also surprised by the helpfulness of the staff. I did not really know how to describe what I wanted because I was used to one stylist for many years. The ladies there quickly determined what I needed and off we were.My haircut was amazing and the staff was great. I will be returning sooner than I thought since my son and my brother-in-law saw my hair cut, lol.

Cindi is amazing. She fit me in as a walk in for color and is extremely friendly and personable.

I had a great experience with Gabe last night as he cut my hair and again this morning he colored and shaped my hair as well as styled it. I have already gotten so many compliments within the last fee hours. Thank you for a great time!!

I am so happy we finally got a Supercuts close to where I live. The tea tree experience is a must when getting a haircut, it feels really amazing and it is relaxing too! I getmy haircut from a lady named Julie who is the absolute best but Ive seen the other stylists cut great too. They informed me that they will start dying hair soon and that sounds exciting. Basically, I found a new place that is very close that caters to my needs.

Used to love coming here to get my hair cut by Phylis but now there’s a new owner and everyone who worked here left. The new woman cutting hair does not listen at all, definitely not happy with the cut I got. The woman cutting my hair kept saying how badly the previous person cut my hair which I didn’t appreciate, Phyllis cut my hair exactly how I wanted her to, this new woman basically did what she wanted. Unfortunately I’ll be looking for a new place to get hair cuts.

Theres so much talent at this location, its worth the drive. The team of pros are welcoming, they genuinely care for their clients as if they are their own family and friends. They have excellent products and the prices are always great. Ive been to several locations in my 52 yrs and this Super Cuts is clean, comfortable its literally the best!

Probably the worst haircut Ive gotten in my life. Not properly faded or edged up. She didnt have a steady hand the whole time. Used both hands to hold clippers. Disregarded the way I wanted my hair cut. Have to go get it fixed now. Did not stay to get it fixed as I did not trust her. Told her my sides looked lower than a 3 (I have been getting a 3 on the side for 5 years now) and she asked if I was sure I usually get a 3? She seems very inexperienced so beware. Did not expect this quality from Supercuts.

I recommend using Gabriel. He’s done color and a haircut. Two thumbs up!

Not so super cut! Great staff, friendly, clean, nice location, oh and the stylist that cut my hair she should not cut mens hair. It was an uneven taper, one side shaved up to the top almost and the other side was shaved lower. Added product to my hair tried to cover mistake. I Paid, tipped well, and was on my way. I will never return. I gave it a shot, I lost. Free would be paying to much. Men look else where for a great cut..I warned you.

They have the best tacos and dishes. Service is always A+. Olga has an outstanding friendly welcoming attitude. Makes us welcome all the time. Thank you.❤

Recently got my hair done there! It had great customer service, very professional, clean and no wait. I was in love with the results and will be going back there again!!

Horrible service!!! They cut my hair extremely short using a trimmer 100 percent of time. The hair dresser did not let me see my self in mirror. Not even one time!! No asking in between the haircut. Almost seems like they want you out of the store in a few mins. The excuse was that they spin the chair to comfortable position to cut hair. So the first and last time I saw my self in the mirror was in the beginning and at the end. Cant believe the 4.6 rating they have with such horrible service and attitudes towards customers.

Finally found somebody whos really great Gabriel Avitia . Hes professional and I didnt say a word the cut my hair PERFECT. Great service by him too.

The stylist who cut my hair had no clue what she was doing, which I am okay with but please speak up and let a client know that you cannot do a certain haircut. I asked for a faux hawk and 5 minutes after cutting my hair she thought I had asked for an undercut (??). I even showed a picture but the haircut looks nothing like the picture. Also as a tip: please style the clients hair the way they are asking it to be cut so they can see how its turning out. If I ask for a faux hawk and you have my hair down on my forehead and then proceed to ask me what length would you like, its pretty hard for me to tell what length I would like when my hair isnt styled for the cut I asked. Complete waste of $20. Also as a side note to the owner: if you care about providing great service please offer clients a redo instead of posting a reply stating we appreciate your feedback and will make it better for you in the future. Pretty sure those unhappy customers are not coming back in the future.

Went in to get my ends trimmed and Jeni convinced me into getting layers... anddd IM LOVING IT!!! ❤️ I also got a discount with the few products I got! Nice salon, location and very friendly people!!! My hair is feeling really good and healthy for the summer 😄😄

My husband, 3 sons and I have all found our PERMANENT stylist!!! Haylee is absolutely fantastic! She somehow ended my nightmare and salvaged my husband’s hair along with one of my teenagers after a horrific experience at another local salon. My 9 year old has autism and I’ve never seen someone be so compassionate and patient with him, but she has a child with autism herself so she’s extremely understanding, she even used her phone to put on his favorite YouTube show for him to watch. I can’t praise her cutting skills enough though, I’m not just talking about being able to cut, she is very knowledgeable and will help you find the right style for your type of hair, her product knowledge is over the top too! The amount of love and passion she has for her career is unreal. My husband has always been super finicky about his hair, always finding something wrong, Haylee has great attention to detail, and for the first time in over 20 years, he left the salon happy with his haircut! WE ALL LOVE OUR HAIR AFTER SHE DOES HER MAGIC!! Go see her, you won’t regret it, this woman is AMAZING!!!!!

Worst experience ever will not come back! I came in and the women who cut my hair (Haylee) was flirting with me. I mean im not one to get mad over that but when I asked her to stop she didn’t speak to me the rest of the time and then purposely messed up my hair so it had to be cut shorter than I like. I have had my hair cut at this location before and have not had a problem. On that note I wouldn’t recommend Haylee to anyone. Worst customer service and haircut I have ever received!

I never write such a negative feedback they didn’t gave any choice. Owner really needs to work on their employees & their hair cut experience. It seems they very new to this industry very unprofessional hair cut. Since I live just a mile away this was 2nd visit thinking maybe bad or hard luck the first time but nope both times they messed up my hair. I’ll never go back again.
