I love this little barbershop not only does it still have the old school field to it the service there is some of the friendliest around. There prices are probably some of the most affordable along with the quality of haircuts which is very professional. Now keep in mind Im your typical fade styled haircut. So its probably not too hard to cut my but regardless I highly recommend big hill Barber shop.

Eddie and James are the best!They are friendly and dont just try to push you out like other barber shops.I have been going here since I was 13 and will go until I am 113

My family has been going here for years. This is the only barber that my boyfriend will get his haircut at. We lived in Georgia for years and he would wait until we came into Richmond to get his haircut. He likes a high tight fade and only they cut it the way he likes. My 5 year old son had his 1st haircut there and they were very patient with him. They let him sit in his Daddy’s lap. I give them 5 stars and would recommend this place to anyone.

I have been to this barbershop several times since moving to the area. I really like that they get people in and out quickly. The price is fine and they are conveniently located. I hope they are able to bounce back from the shutdown and all the restrictions they are having to deal with due to covid. I will continue to go here for my haircut.

Nice guys, good haircut for my son. Only draw back is cash only accepted and thats not listed on the window. So be aware to bring cash so you dont get stuck with a $3 atm fee. Ill will be back because there was really no wait and they were super fast, just better prepared.

Reasonable and fast

I moved and was getting tired of driving half way across town to my old barber only to find the place closed. I picked a good time to go to Big Hill and got seated quickly. I received a good solid haircut at a fair price. Ample parking, easy to get in and out of. If you are looking for a barber, give this place a try. I believe you will like it.

My first time here so this assessment may not be the norm. I got the youngest of the 3 barbers on duty, cut was okay for his first time cutting it but I was hoping for it to be better as I had heard good things about this place.

My kids love going here. They do an amazing job and help your child not to be scared.

Ive been going here since I was 15 or 16 years old. The only time I go anywhere else is when I cant get there while they are open. My work hours are crazy! Some of the best people in the business!

It’s a cheap haircut and he did a below average job. He cut my hair in about 10 mins and was not very thorough. My hard part is very sloppy. The guy cutting my hair didn’t say a single thing to me the whole time. Overall my experience was unprofessional.
