Although the wait was a bit long to get my tire replaced, they were very kind and thr price was reasonable. Definitely recommend.

Very Trustworthy, professional, accommodating & they know how to fix what needs to be fixed! Fair & reasonable. They Even serve cookies & Donuts when I have come! They seem like a happy team & I like supporting this business as I trust them completely & appreciate their honesty, ethic, & quality service. They all have been nothing but pleasurable to work with since day 1! Whenever I have car trouble they are always who I call! I love that they don’t make me feel clueless as a female. The communicate well with what could be fixed & what my options are which i always appreciate. You won’t regret using this company for your car needs.

Our company has been using Dunkums for our fleet vehicles for many years. We are lucky enough that if we need our cars serviced Dunkums will work on ours as well, even inspect it! They helped me out yesterday overcome a heart attack. My water pump went bad along with the serpentine belt and I lost all my coolant and my car was hardly moving. You cant beat their pricing or their customer service. I have had a lot of issues with my car and they are always right on top of it. Dont go anywhere else until you try Dunkums Tire & Auto Services. They are the best of the best! The two low ratings I read on here make me laugh. People are downing this company for finding what is wrong during their inspection. Do they want this garage to loose their licence. They may have gone elsewhere first but maybe that garage missed something. I will always rely on Dunkums.

I switched to this garage after a change of ownership where I had been going for years. I have cars that are 10+ years old so a mechanic can always find things to fix. I need a mechanic who exercises discretion and can advise me what needs to be done vs. what would be nice to do. These guys could have sold me several hundred dollars of repairs but they didnt because these fixes were not needed in my situation. I trust them and Im not going back to my former garage.

Work was done in a timely manner. Service is always done right the first time. Reliable. Customer is treated very well.

Honest and reputable shop. I took a rust bucket truck in to have some work done that it badly needed. Rather than take my money and have me throw good money after bad, they put it up on the rack and showed me all the things wrong with it. Probably saved me from starting a huge money and part pit. Theyve serviced my 09 Accord and even my 86 Porsche 944. They are very upfront about what they can do and are willing to do. If they dont feel comfortable doing something, they refer you over to another shop that may specialize in exhaust, etc. Labor rate is reasonable and the work has been very good so far. Try them. Dont get mad though if your car is old and needs work. You should expect that.

I was promised a great ride after changing out my Mud and Snow tires on my Jeep Wrangler. Wow, what a difference. Handling, quietness, smooth ride, no rattles...exactly as I hoped for at a competitive price. Great work and they lived up to the promise

I am Richmond for a summer job and had to have some work done on my car. I followed the reviews for Dunkums and could not be happier. They listened, advised and executed everything I needed done. They even found a minor problem and fixed it on the house where other places would have probably told me about it after the fact and made me schedule again etc etc leading to charging more money than Dunkums. In conclusion, Dunkums is a goal for which other car garages and service stations should strive to achieve. Fantastic customer service and great prices.

Today it was just a quick and easy inspection, but what Ive liked about them in the past was them helping me to prioritize what needed to be done on an old car that had quite a few issues. They are honest and easy going and I had a really nice and comfortable place to wait, quiet, comfortable armchairs, TV and Wifi.

Pretty fair prices but customer service was borderline disrespectful. I took my car there to have my pads looked at but later found out it was a problem with my master cylinder and host of other things. When I asked for a price breakdown of a 800+ ticket I was all but laughed out the room and told “he had important phone calls to make”. I’m not asking for someone to hold my hand but I think next time you should take into consideration of other people’s feelings and time. Great place if you’re look for quick and impersonal service.

I have been taking my Colorado pickup truck, my wifes Buick Lucerne, our sons Impala, our daughters Vibe and our other daughters Mustang to Dunkums for many years now. They are honest, straight forward, careful and great mechanics. Often the advice I get is--you are going to need rear brakes the next time you come in for an oil change. But keep an eye on your braking in the meantime. They are great at trouble-shooting and their prices are competitive. I never get services that I dont need or dont want. In addition, they are nice guys with families and they care about their work and their customers.

Great service. Brought in a hub that needed to be pressed in the knuckle another inch, they did it in 5 minutes and didnt even charge me. Will be back.

Another quality repair at Dunkums Tire and Auto. Replaced the spark plugs in my Mercury Mariner and no more misses causing the check engine light. Quality group of people who are locally owned and are a great place to come for vehicle repairs.

Polite and professional, I work close by and dunkums is a godsend having them so close by in case anything were to happen and I need a mechanic.

Took my car in yesterday for inspection which they failed my car. Told me I need rear break shoes and the estimate was $200.00, front headlamp bulb $35.00. Went to walmart, got the bulb for $6.00. Took my car elsewhere to get a second opion on the break shoes, guess what, they passed! Not only did they try to take advantage of me, they were rude. 3 people (2 men, 1 woman) sitting in the front office. The man sitting in the very front behind the counter was disrepectful. I will not go back, nor do I recommend this repair shop. Especially if youre a woman. I noticed while waiting for my car, the men that came in were greeted with a much happier and respectful tone than the women. The men working there appear to be in their 60s. Maybe they are just old school, however, when you work with the public everyone needs to be an equal!

Your vehicles are in good hands with Ian and David and the folks at Dunkums. My wife and I have been using them for over 10 years and I recommend them to friends and family whenever I have the chance.

Stay away from this place... daughters car failed inspection two weeks ago at Firestone because of a rear tail light bulb burnt out. got it replaced down the road from Dunkums, and then pulled in to Dunkums for a quick inspection (or so i thought) - hmmmmm well, what do you know! turns out now it wont pass it because of rear rotors...anything wrong with this picture???
