Martin is a real guy with a great work ethic. There is no middle man so the savings are transferred to the customer. In the middle of COVID, he came to give us an estimate. He came highly recommended by a realtor. His estimate was very reasonable. He ordered the AC unit for us that was delayed so he personally drove to Woodbridge to get the unit. He installed both the heating and Air for us as our HVAC was 23 years old. He provided the warranty and finished the job on time. He cleaned the place well and hauled the old unit away. Currently we are enjoying the cool air. I am sure the heat will work fine as well during the winter months as we haven’t gotten a chance to use it yet. Thanks Martin
As others have experienced, Martins was sent out to service my HVAC unit by my home warranty service. However, thats where the similarities to the other reviews end. He was very informative on how I could avoid the issue I was having going forward, and even demonstrated how I could do these tasks on my own. He also listened to me about how my unit seemed to struggle to cool the upstairs, and he showed me how to use the damper to get the air flowing where I needed it. He even went as far to change the fan speed on the unit from low to high, citing that Goodman typically ships them at low when he recommends it to be set to high. I understand others may not have had the same experience, but I just wanted to make it a point to leave a review when I feel like he did an excellent job.
Please know upfront that you should RUN from any warranty service company who uses this guy for their HVAC service repair. Weve used warranty service companies for many years, so we understand how the service process works. A rudimentary understanding of business acumen for a service person wont allow a repairman to show up at your home without the proper tools to do the job he was called to do (in this case the guy didnt have a ladder). Secondly, the repairman spent fifteen minutes unsuccessfully diagnosing our system failure. He abruptly announced he was leaving to get help but when questioned he would not say if or when he might be returning to finish the job. He said he would be in touch. This guy is simply grabbing the money and running away and from the job. The warranty company (Total Protect//Cinch) is profiting from the inappropriate actions of the repairmen since they get to avoid paying the actual cost of the repair. Were dropping these clowns as of today.
Had an emergency AC issue & Martin came to the rescue… being that it was 90 degree days & my tenants were without AC 🥲 Martin ordered the parts Wednesday and had everything installed by Monday! 🙌
This company is absolutely horrible. Made an appointment to get my system fixed he called during my appointment window to cancel and reschedule for another day. He then forgot about the reschedule and ended up showing up hours later and did not fox anything. I had to use them through my home warranty plan and it took till the following thrusday to submit his report. When he was only at my house maybe 5 or 10 mins again to not fix anything. He said he would keep me updated and I havent heard from him. Do not use this company.
Has blocked my calls and hasnt been responsive through my home warranty. Its been almost 3 months!! Do not use!
