Ive lived here for 2 years and have had a great experience. Management is fantastic and communication with residents couldnt be better. Nick and Stephanie are both organized and responsive to messages. The maintenance team is fantastic as well, they respond to issues the very next day and if they cannot fix it themselves, they readily hire a local repairman to do it. The apartments themselves are spacious and updated and the location is fantastic- right by the river, the trail, Bateman Island, and shopping is close by.

Moved in in September of this year and it’s been great so far. The move in process was easy, the apartment layouts are great, it’s clean and quiet, located across the street from the river, and close to shopping. The property manager Nick, is great. We’ve only had one issue and it was swiftly taken care of. I would definitely recommend Island View to other people.

My boyfriend and I moved in a few months ago, in the middle of this pandemic, and we truly feel like were living in paradise here. We have a gorgeous view of the river, were close to shopping, hiking, some of the best fishing in the state, and some of the best food and beer within walking distance. Island View is a beautiful community in a pristine location and we have had nothing but great interactions with the people here. I honestly feel like I can trust the management team here and I dont trust easily. Thank you for making our stay so amazing Island View! We are looking forward to many more sunsets here 🌅

My husband and I have been here now for a couple of months. Initially the move didnt go as smooth as we had hoped due to the Covid and some computer issues. Despite all of that Nick really handled everything seamlessly. He was always pleasant to talk to and really listens to what your needs are and does what he can to resolve it as quickly as possible. The maintenance staff is great and really on the ball with helping get things handled when we need something fixed. I put 5 stars because that is the service you will receive here and its such a beautiful community, incredible location so close to everything. I love living here and the fact we even had a two year lease option is amazing, most places dont even offer that! With all that said I know our little family will enjoy all the time we have here & are excited for whats to come.

Island view has been pretty amazing to work with since I moved here in July. I’ve had a few hiccups on my end when it came to the renters insurance and Nick has been absolutely amazing on helping me get it sorted out as well as super flexible with me. Overall recommend living here. It’s a safe, quiet and comfortable community for anybody who is looking for a home. I am happy to be a part of this community even though it’s hard with Covid being unable to use the facilities, management always does a great job communicating with everybody. And don’t even get me started on my view and the location... absolutely amazing. 10/10 thank you!

This place is not worth the extensive amount of money charged! You literally pay a portion of all utilities used by everyone that lives here so when theres an old woman in your building always putting out extra lighting because shes got nothing better to do with herself and needs attention you pay! They make it so they enter your living space every few months because they are invasive! They allow people to smoke on property they claim is smoke free and its not just cigarettes people are smoking. So glad Im leaving in the next few weeks and that Im not dumb enough to stay in this ghetto!

My boyfriend and I searched high and low for the perfect apartment. A friend recommended Island View to me and we decided to go and check it out. Not only is the price affordable for the space you get (check out the ceilings, theyre SO high), but everything is new and updated. The area is quiet and calm with restaurants within walking distance and the park right across the street. We never hear our neighbors, and everyone here is happy and friendly. The calm, serene culture has been curated by Nick, the property manager. He is knowledgeable, kind, and does everything in his power to meet the needs of his residents. He made the move in process so easy for my boyfriend and I, and made sure to answer all our questions. He genuinely cares for his residents, not just on a business level. He made sure that my boyfriend and I were comfortable after we moved in, and reaches out often to make sure our needs are met.If youre looking for a cozy, comfortable, quiet living space, come to Island View. I guarantee youll fall in love.

I lived at the apartment complex for 3 years with my wife and two kids. We relocated from Seattle for a new job and we were going to look at another complex just a block away from Island View. The well kept exterior made us stop by and after a walk with the property manager we knew it was the place for our family. The complex is clean with great space and appliances for the price. Maintenance requests were resolved with great sense of urgency and parking was always available. We enjoyed the gym, pool, hot tub and being close to Columbia River. Monthly socials with neighbors were great and the new property manager Nick is very helpful with ensuring that the needs of the complex are taken care of, great job with the clean up during the huge snowfall. Stephanie was also very helpful. Definitely the best apartments in Tri-Cities!

Just moved into this apartment community and am very satisfied so far. The apartments are spacious with attention to detail, and a generous size. They have just the right amount of parking spots, so its not usually hard to find at least one open. Additionally, I have been pleased with the noise level around the complex and in my apartment. There are many young professionals living here, and very few kids. Its perfectly peaceful. The pool and spa is very nice as well... and the landscaping is superior.

Great price and highly competitive considering the cost of other apartments. Another thing to note is the responsiveness of the front office. I was able to make my move from out of state in under a weeks time and everything went smoothly with the help of the complex. The app used for rent payment is awesome and easy to use. The office staff are great and communicate well with the complex.Things to improve would be the maintenance team/crew responsiveness. It took them over a week to even acknowledge my submitted issue, where then planning for a day that would work became troublesome. They also didnt plan a time, just said theyd call me on my day off and hopefully theyll be free to come fix it. I have a busy schedule on my off days and would have loved some coordination to plan an exact time out.

I just recently moved from Island View to Las Vegas. I lived there going on 5 years and truly enjoyed my time there. I hated to leave but have to go where the jobs are. This review is really about Stephanie, the Assistant Manager there. I have seen many Property Managers come and go but Stephanie has been a constant presence there. She is totally competent, friendly and I always conducted business with her. I truly believe that Stephanie should be promoted soon. She is the best and I miss her.

I moved into my apartment in May, and it has been a great place to live! I love the layout of the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, and having a washer and dryer in the apartment is amazing! Pet friendly, monthly community events, hot tub open year-round. The location is probably my favorite part though! Steps from the river, a bus stop right outside that takes you directly to Howard Amon Park, Uptown, and Battelle. Management staff are friendly and easy to work with. Some disorganization in terms of the parent company when it came to the lease, but I highly recommend living at Island View.

I have a friend who lives at Island View and thought I would look into living here as well. I have visited the office twice within the past couple months to check their availability and just ask some general questions. Both times that I came into the main office I had the displeasure of speaking with the female office manager who was unkind, unhelpful and tried to rush me out the door so she could get back to enjoying her quiet office. My friend who lives at Island View has told me that this is a common occurrence with the office management. They had a very similar experience when moving in a year ago.

I want to make this clear so no one else makes the same mistake. If you apply and pay the $40 application fee and are approved, you then have to pay an additional $200 WHETHER OR NOT you sign a lease or agree to actually rent the apartment. Make sure you know you want to live there before you apply because if you change your mind, even before you sign any lease or agreement, youre out $240 instead of just $40.

I chose this location on a gamble, with just email communication and photos alone. The staff have been *phenomenal* at responding quickly and personably. Even going out to take custom photos. Upon arrival, all work orders are prompt and they even do these lovely monthly resident parties to get to know your neighbors. This has helped us get to know the community so much more. The hot tub and pool are well maintained and residents very polite. Love it here.

Lived there for just about half a year before moving on to a new job on the other side of the country. Its pretty quiet in the area, but the walls and floors are paper thin (every apartment in that area is like this, cheap and hollow). Other then that its a nice spacious apartment. Fit my family of 3 with room to spare in a 2 bedroom. Brittany even worked with me weeks after Id already left to get a package shipped back to me that was delivered to my old address, that was impressive to me. Reason it gets 3 stars is twofold. One, breaking your lease will break your wallet. Its outrageous what they ask. Two, even if you notify them that payment is on the way, they will still send you to collections. Its nice, but dont even think about being a moment late with the physical payment, verbal acknowledgement means nothing, and save up if you plan to leave before the lease is up.

I wrote a previous 5 star review of these apartments but after recent experiences, I feel like its necessary to knock off a couple stars. My family lived in this complex for a little over a year and a half. I enjoyed living there for the most part, they are nice inside and the atmosphere down by the river is quiet and laid back. One of the main reasons we liked Island View was the maintenance crew. The head guy was incredibly helpful, easy to work with and talk to, and never made you feel like you were an inconvenience. Unfortunately he now works at another community, and honestly that was the beginning of the end for us at Island View. The management always seemed like they were on our side and I felt like I could talk to them about issues and theyd be resolved. Lately it seems like management has moved around a lot. Not necessarily bad, but during our move out, we were left with someone who didnt even know we lived there to begin with. We chose to end our lease to find a bigger apartment for our kids. On that note, I would not recommend this complex if you have kids. They tolerate them, but its not really a family kind of community. There are however, a lot of dogs. So if you have a little patch of lawn in front of your patio, it will be used as a dog potty constantly. Anyway, most of the issues were small and overall I liked living there and was recommending it to everyone I knew. That is until we received our move out inspection in the mail two weeks after wed left. No where in our lease did it say anything about a non refundable cleaning fee. As responsible renters and thinking it would obviously save us money from our deposit, we cleaned our apartment to our best ability. Let me be clear, we knew our full carpet would need to be replaced due to a flooding situation and a dog. We also knew there would be nail holes and probably a full paint, and we were prepared for that to come out of the deposit. But when I opened up our form, literally every single box was marked dirty. Every single box. There was a whole paragraph of little remarks on how terrible the place looked and they even charged us for missing blinds (those awful hanging ones that break constantly) that we had a work order put in for and I checked to make sure were installed before we left. Boxes were marked dirty for things that didnt even exist in the room, such as windows in the bathrooms. It was honesty completely insulting and it has bothered me enough that I will never recommend this community again. I talked to a representative from the management company, as she called to get my side of the story (not exactly sure why, but it did make me feel a little better) and she said they will always mark things as dirty to get the cleaning fee. If that is so, maybe it should say that directly in the lease. Otherwise, why even waste my time cleaning when Im just going to be called dirty and charged $125. This review is simply a warning to anyone in a similar life situation, where youre paying an exorbitant amount in rent and deposits, who does not want to be left owing money once youve decided to move on.

Beautiful apartments, nice grounds, well maintained, staff is great. Stephanie is always amazing to work with. The new maintenance crew is very on top of things and gets anything taken care of practically next day. The only reason I wouldn’t give this 5 stars is due to they are very pricy. However they say you get what you pay for and they’ve been the best apartments I’ve lived in. Just small things like the fee when first moving in, adding someone to the lease and additional deposits, also to move from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom you have to pay a transfer fee along with all new applications and deposits. This complex does have a LOT of dogs which if you’re on a ground floor you’ll have to deal with that, also hearing them bark and run back and forth if the people above your unit have animals. Parking situation can be a nightmare. If you can snag a carport it is highly recommended for 35$ additional a month. Love that there is hardly any kids in this complex! Overall very nice living!

My husband and I moved in here in July of 2018 Our two bedroom is comfortable, we love the layout. Its a very nice little community. The corporation that owns the complex is well, a corporation. They have hardened rules in place and their online system of paying rent is faulty. Their system can claim you have insufficient funds when your bank says otherwise, when asking for documentation to prove what they are saying you get nothing. Then you are restricted to paying your rent by a cashiers check for the remainder of your lease term. Which means every month you have to ask them how much is due because it varies month by month. Which means every month Im reminded of how much I regret doing business with this corporation.

I left them a forwarding address and have called 6 times and left three voicemails and have gotten NO RESPONSE AT ALL. Management is completely incompetent and will not help with any problems at all. While staying there I wrote 5 different noise complaints about my neighbors, and NOTHING was ever done. The won’t solve any problems or help you find any solutions. The maintenance guy also entered our apartment and left a note on our counter without knocking on the door or scheduling an appointment. Trespassing into my apartment while I was home alone. Not to mention how CREEPY he is!!!!!! Would NEVER recommend this horrible place to anybody.

I was very disappointed when it came time to move out of Island View. Because I work full-time and go to graduate school, I hired a cleaning service to come in and clean on a weekly basis during the 14 months I lived there. At the time of move-out, I paid them to clean on the last day of my lease. I was given a bill of $60 for a partial cleaning service for food particles in the bottom of the dish washer and grease on the side of the interior oven window. I have pictures of both - they are clean. I also had no pets and live alone. The apartment was left in excellent condition. The complex is also charging for paint for where my curtains were hung, I consider this to be normal usage of an apartment. I ended up paying a $1500 lease break when I found my house, so in the course of the 14 months I lived there, I paid over $16,000 and was still nickel and dimed at the time of move out. Very disappointing. I received my bill from Island View as well as a letter from collections in the same week, so they also sent me immediately into collections with no opportunity to discuss the ~$85 in charges Im disputing.I have since sent two emails to the current property management company that owns them - I have had a response to neither thus far. This place does not care about doing business with you as a person, they care about doing business with your wallet. Give the money to someone else.
