We paid a holding deposit of 150 while our application was being processed, we were denied which is fine we understand however we were sent a letter stating the amount to be refunded (holding deposit not the application fees) which we already knew was going to be returned, however it has not been returned almost three weeks later and can’t seem to get anyone on the phone or to respond to our emails.
Very nice apartments, I love the vintage feel of the buildings. The owner is also very nice, and very helpful, and has helped and accommodated me for all of my needs. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews on here, it’s a decent place, with good good cost. Will definitely recommend this apartment to my friends in the future!
I. Applied at. Cedar North Apts and was given outstanding service, i had been looking at several apts in North Richl. And the manager at Cedar North was only one out of all my. Inquiries to really take the time and patience to walk me through the whoe process and answerall my questions, Even with alll her other responsibilitys goin on, The whole process seemed liked they really caepred, and they defiinately went above and beyond to accomadate me, Thank you Cedar. NorthrP
LaShayla the manager has horrible attitude and has no customer service whatsoever. Called for a month straight and not one of my calls were answer.
Dangerous, due to absolutely zero security cameras in the parking lot. I had multiple money orders pocketed by the front desk lady.. but thats my fault I should have asked for a receipt
Rent is too high for the area. Storage units get flooded and you are not notified. No locks on exterior building doors (anyone can be in the hallway or knocking at your door). Plumbing is 30 years old at least. Pool area is easily accessible without a key. If you want to feel safe and secure, I recommend living elsewhere.
Things have really turned around for the better since Misty took over a few months ago. If you want housing thats affordable but still nice, Id recommend cedar north!
Pretty apartments staff is great and helpful. They also have weird intetesting spiffy looking birds that live in the trees. Very cool :)
Highly suggest that you do NOT move here. The manager failed to tell my boyfriend about the cockroaches when he did the walk thru. They also were charging him every month for an extermination fee even tho there were no exterminators coming to spray. They will also charge you tons of weird random fees on top of your monthly rent. Common areas are disgusting and never cleaned.
Ive lived here for about a year now. The apartments are extremely over priced for what youre getting. No parking, I have had my car towed twice! The upkeep is nonexistent, they dont clean the common areas or take care of them in any sort of fashion. The halls smell of mold and cigarettes. There have been maintenance issues in the apartment, when the office was called they told me to put in my maintenance requests on their website. A month later, I hadnt heard anything about my requests. I walked into the office, a bit upset, and told them about it..they had a guy in there 10 minutes later. That happened a few times. My hot water tank blew, they wouldnt provide me with fans to dry the sopping wet carpet, and let me tell you, there is NO good airflow here. One floor shares one washer and one dryer. They have left the washing machine broken for almost two weeks now. The management are slum lords. It is a disgusting place, I would HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else to live.
It is decent in size . The maintenance guy is great. Seems to have a new manager at the office every 3 months though. Kitchen is to small, and they charge you for all this extra stuff on the rent that most apartments by for them selfs . Like there paperwork to bill us, common area light, when they have the guy come out to spray outside around the apartments for bugs they charge every one. Just alot of extra charges . Rent supposed to be 928. We pay between 1040-1200. Depending on how many people live in the apartments. And not anof parking. But plus side the people that run the office is friendly. Just the billing is messed up.
This is an update of my previous review. Originally 3 stars for various reasons (charging more than the originally stated shared utilities fee, charging a $25 per month fee for using a debit card to pay rent, poorly maintained facilities outside etc).Since that review however, I have finished my 12 months lease and moved out. I can give a much better review now considering I now have a full term of experience at Cedar North. For starters, I will mention that the one saving grace of this place is the staff. They are, for the most part, attentive, friendly and professional. They do try to help if they can, but I feel they are crippled by ridiculous budgets and Avenue 5 corporate rules, so the level of assistance is inadequate in a lot of ways (through no fault of their own). Now on to specifics...1. I reported multiple issues with the apartment on move in, which never got addressed in the 12 months I was there. While most were minor, 12 months should be enough time to fix them.2. The apartment leaked during heavy rain, or ice. I reported this several times and was simply told its just water finding the path of least resistance, as if water leaking through a bedroom ceiling (on the ground floor I might add) was to be expected. The leak sites were sprayed for mold, but nothing was done to stop the leaks and this happened multiple times.3. Water from a laundry room leak came through the walls of my closet and damaged my property. There was no attempt to remedy this.4. My room mate had her life threatened by neighbors because of her service dog. When she reported it to the police, the same neighbors went out of their way to make her (and my) life a living hell.5. While the apartment moved to assigned parking (one spot per apartment), parking for visitors is practically non-existent.6. There are recreation rooms throughout the complex inside the various blocks, but kids refuse to use them and instead congregate outside of the apartment doors and scream and shout, all hours. When mentioned, kids will be kids is the general response.7. During icy conditions, salt is provided, but residents are only allowed to use it on the steps to the front doors. The walkways and parking areas are untreated and dangerously slippery.8. My car received multiple dings through inconsiderate neighbors opening their car doors into the side of my car.9. Local neighborhood kids literally threw a bottle at my head in my first week there, for no reason other than I said excuse me when I needed to get past them (they were blocking the access steps).10. Upstairs neighbors frequently dropped hot ashes from cigarettes through the slots on their balcony onto us while we sat below. Not only inconsiderate, but these are non-smoking apartments.11. They charge a standard cleaning fee of $120 on move out. This comes out of your deposit. They will also charge a number of additional fees on move out and you will not know about them until you receive a bill a month later. I did not receive ANY of my initial deposit back, and was charged an additional $65 ON TOP, all after the walk out inspection I attended was fine and I was informed it would just be the cleaning fee (I should have gotten $80 refunded of my deposit, so theyre finding $145 of stuff to charge me for for no reason). All in all, this is a perfect example of you get what you pay for, but even then you will be paying more then you expect. The neighbors are not all monsters, but some of the clientele here are the worst. The kids are disrespectful and belligerent. The staff are helpful within the confines of what they are allowed to do, but the corporate structure hinders their ability to help much. The only reason I stayed here was because of a limited budget. If thats what you have, then good luck... but if you can stretch a bit further, there are far better options out there.
Not a good place. They take on more money to you rent, but do not fix things. Example, safety lighting, been broken for over 7 months.
Did a walk through of the first floor to see if we wanted to live there,it reeked of mold ciggerets and weed. Everything was dirty and not at all taken care of.
They r old but still decent looking
Useless the government is helping us with rent. I wouldnt recommend this place.
If I could give less stars I would. The place is extremely overpriced. The landlord is rude and will overcharge you for any repair. Not to mention the entire property is full of drug users and basically the dredges of society.
Do tri cities a favor and bulldoze this place already. Trash hole.
Horrible Management. My car got towed away within an hour of visiting a friend. No visitor parking. Not enough parking for tenants. Do not suggest liv8ng or visiting here
Not enough parking and people parking in your spot when you paying for the spot and the app is not very good
Good apartments.
This place is disgusting.
Ok
Everything is close to this place
