I’ve used them twice now. Both times were a fantastic experience. Most recently, my car wouldn’t start and nobody could work me in. However, these guys squeezed me in, found the issue (bad starter) and got it done quickly! Great service and quality work. I’ll definitely be back.

Good people, but these guys are expensive. After I got a quote for brakes and rotors $675 + tax. I took my Lexus to Germain of Easton... $490 out the door. I had my own parts and they still wanted to upcharge me on the labor.

I cannot recommend this place enough! When my car started making a strange noise, Nick found a way to squeeze me in their busy schedule to find out what was going on. He was extremely professional, patiently answered all of my questions, and was a dream to work with. He completed the work I needed quickly and did an awesome job for much cheaper than I expected. Ill definitely be taking all of my future business here!

Best mechanics I have been to in my life. We got an estimate for a fix on our car at a different place and it was $1k. We were referred to this mechanic by friends who had multiple stories about good experiences from here. We got an estimate for the fix of about $400. We ended up being able to fix up both of our cars for under what the first place quoted us. The staff are really friendly. Both cars have since been running great and even made a move down to Texas. I hope to find mechanics like them again down here.

It is hard to find a place that will find what was really wrong with your car, and honestly tell you the best way to fix it, and then be fair on part prices and labor, and then do exactly what needs to be done and do it right. I found Car Doctor on open Bay searching for better price to have my master cylinder and power booster repaired after another company told me it would cost $1,200 to fix. Car Doctor quoted me a price of $245 and as it turns out it was only 100 because the quote that I was given from the prior company was wrong and all I needed was the brake line fixed.

They are amazing. Quoted me 40 dollars to have a bearing pressed out of my spindle...did it for 20 and offered to press it into the wheel assembly if needed. Fair guys...honest place. I have lived in Columbus only three years, but during this time I have needed the services of a mechanic to service my three vehicles. I am fortunate to live in close proximity to several auto mechanics, so It’s easy for me to get estimates. Car Doctors’ prices have always come in under the competition, but more importantly they are honest, ASE certified and have proved to be full service knowledgeable on many foreign and domestic brands. Earlier this year they moved from the East side of Columbus to a larger facility in Reynoldsburg. The demand for their services has increased largely due to word of mouth because they don’t advertise much. For me, it is still worth the drive to take my vehicles there, but it is best to make an appointment because they are always busy.

I found the Car Doctors by chance, driving by and seeing their Open sign on a Saturday. My A/C wasnt working and I called and talked to Nick who advised me on some possibilities and told me I could bring my car in right away. I was in and out within about 30 minutes with cold A/C again. I read the reviews and couldnt agree more with the 5-star rating. Nick, Jeff, and the owner were all super friendly and knowledgeable and their prices are great! We will bring all of our vehicles here in the future. I feel fortunate to have found the Car Doctors!

I’m so pleased with the service I received to the point I will never take my car anywhere else. I needed to go out of town quick and didn’t have a lot of extra money for a car repair. In shopping around for estimates The Car Doctors was recommended. I called them, told them my situation and when I needed to be on the road. The e p c light came on and anyone with a foreign car knows repairs on these are very expensive and hard to find someone who will work on them besides the high priced dealers! Car Doctors, Jeff, Nick and I do not have mechanics name, did an outstanding job finding what part of the e p c code problem was and fixed it immediately! I cannot say enough good things about the people, the work and the timely repair. Excellent! My new shop for my car!!!! I did have an appointment, but think they would have tried to work me in since I waited on the repair. I was very pleasantly surprised with the cost of repairs! Very reasonable! I would like to start off by saying that this is the first time I have ever felt a need to leave a review on a company. Never before have I been so grateful for a company and their customer service. I have been living in Columbus for about 4 months, and finding a honest, trustworthy and dependable mechanic was something I was nervous about. Especially as a women, looking for or going to a mechanic can be very nerve wracking since you dont know what youre going to get or if they will try to take advantage of you. This is my second time going to the Car Doctors. It was an emergency. After a car rental fell through which was for me to see my family for Labor Day weekend, I decided to take my own vehicle, however, it needed work. I called Eddie on Thursday, practically in tears from how desperate I was, and asked if they can take my car in to fix it, VERY last minute. Eddie told me they were so booked because of the holiday weekend, and on top of that, they had a half day on Friday... but he heard how important this was in my voice and decided to tell me to bring the car in. I initially though it needed much more work, because a previous oil change place told me it did. The Car Doctors took my car the very next morning, and called to tell me that all the work the previous place said I needed done, wasnt necessary. He even added that he would clean up some battery corrosion as a complementary service. They are so honest and really good people. Its a truly appreciative feeling to know that I now have a mechanic I know is honest and will do anything to help out their customers. At this point, I will pay them whatever they want. They have a lifelong customer. Thats how truly and utterly grateful I am. Because of the Car Doctors, I can now go see my family in NY which was so important to me. I cant thank them enough. I can not say enough good things about this place. Every. Single. Person is nice, and very helpful. They all worked very hard to figure out what was wrong with my car, and it is FINALLY fixed! I will always send anybody I know who needs any type of car work to these guys.

My BMWs right side wheel lug nut was stuck along with its key and I was trying to get it out, visit Walmart Auto Center 3-4 times as they only made it worse but no luck. Finally I visited here and had short discussion with Jeff although he was not 100% sure about he did asked one of the superman (yes you read it right) to see if he can check and he put in his super power and took out that lug nut like in 1min or so. This was such big relief that I cant explain in words here. It was so worried if my tire gets flat, I cant even change it but finally that worry is gone and you know what they didnt even charge me single penny for it I was like really? From now onwards I will go to this place only and will recommend to my friends and family.

I love this place! I have nothing but good things to say about this family. They are honest, fair and very respectful! I love that! If there was an issue they couldn’t resolve they would refer you to someone else. It’s hard to find a company that takes care of you like that. It doesn’t matter the symbol on your vehicle. I had an issue with one of my ball joints but didnt know which one was bad. Nick was able to locate the correct ball joint and had it repaired in short time. It is nice to turn corners without the grinding noise. Hopefully I have found my new mechanic as my old mechanic has retired. Thank you Nick and Eddie.

Excellent shop, incredible service, very knowledgeable, helpful, and well priced. My timing belt started acting up Christmas night, of all days. I had taken it to another shop who misdiagnosed and repaired the serpentine belt tensioner instead. I reached out to Nick and Jeff who were very patient listening to my description of the problem, and Nick was able to diagnose the issue listening to it over the phone in seconds! They explained exactly what was happening so I understood how to baby it for a few days until I could get into the shop. I’ve known nick (as my mechanic) for 10 years now. Followed him to now the 3rd shop. He’s worked on literally AT LEAST 15 cars in this time (I’m a car w****.) I’ve had vw’s, Acura’s, Lexus’ and Subaru’s dude knows it all. I live about 20 miles away now and still only trust this guy.True story: I was really hurting and bought a used tire from a junk yard, had Nick mount and install it to find out there was a hole and was no good. He found a similar tire he had in the back somewhere and put it on for me. I didn’t have the money required for this service and he just said “it’s ok give it to me next time.”

Great experience. It was my first time at Car Doctors and I am a satisfied customer.I had to replace O2 sensor and do an oil change so I called and asked for a quote. Nick said that they have to order the part and I can come when it will arrive. So they ordered it for me and when I came everything was ready and replaced quickly with no problems. Total rip off. He was supposed to replace my engine, when he was taking it apart he broke a screw off the distributor cap. He didnt fix it and didnt tell me. Moisture got in and ruined the part, I had to spend $200 on a part that worked perfectly fine until he touched my car.

I initially gave this shop a positive review but something seems to have changed in the quality of service that they provide. I had been taking my car there frequently for every problem that arose and the service was worse each time.For example, i brought my car in with some nasty vibration when slowing and accelerating to/from a stop. The manager (?) Nic immediately said oh that sounds like the drive shaft, but when i got the call a couple hours later they had diagnosed it as something completely different and didnt mention the drive shaft. I was expecting to pick it up at the end of they day but they called me later in the day and basically told me whoops, it actually was the drive shaft to begin with so we need to keep your car an entire additional day which is very difficult for me as i have a long commute to work and cant take public transport or uber. Of course i was frustrated that the manager had never communicated his diagnosis to his crew (he told me as much) and just assumed they would catch it but never questioned them until last minute when they didnt. Him simply communicating with his staff would have saved an entire day and much frustration, but i let it slide because sometimes these things happen.The final straw was when i took my car in and spent a significant amount to have some work done which included replacing some gaskets to resolve some oil leakage/burning that i was experiencing. Upon getting the car back, i have discovered that the car leaks and burns oil worse than ever! I change my own oil so i am familiar with how much leakage is typically on the undercarriage and how much it burns in between changes. I called to complain and the owner did call me back to offer to look at the car again, but honestly why couldnt they simply do it right the first time? Those are just two examples but in all of my interactions with them they just seem to be a very careless shop and overlook a lot of things which becomes a huge burden and frustration for the customer. I want to trust a shop to do things right the first time, i dont want to have to catch them lying about work done or doing a subpar job when i really cant afford to keep bringing my car back in for every little mistake.
