The other driver yelled at me cause i opened his door while hes parked. He told me that i argued with him take the next cab.he was an irate hatian at moody st.he was very unprofessional

I ordered a cab to the airport two days in advance for 6:00 amon the day of the flight I called them at 6:00 am and they said there were no cabs in my area and were sorry for the inconvenience.Wha?I drove myself to the airport and had to pay $280 for parking.Never again.
Great service. Physically booked it from Logan international airport to Jamaican plane. Only 50$.
THE WORST! Scheduled a 9PM reservation with City Cab (more than 24 hours in advance), ended up waiting until 1045PM (after many calls) until we were able to get another cab company⦠When I called for the reservation (on 12/30), I was told by the staff at City Cab that they were taking reservations. I reiterated the importance of needing to be at an event by 930PM on 12/31, I was told it would not be a problem. I also called again at 5PM on 12/31 to confirm both the pick-up at 9PM (and at 2AM for the return home). Again, I was told it would not be a problem and I was set to go. Called another five times after 930PM and was told only another 5-10 min each after each call. We ended-up cold calling another cab company that picked us up 15 min after we called at about 1045 PM (ish). In all this, I NEVER received a call that the cab showed-up. We ended-up showing up at the event at 1120PM, when we were supposed to be there at 930PM. Now granted, New Years is busy but WHY TAKE RESERVATIONS AND PROMISE A SERVICE THAT YOU CANNOT DELIVER ON!? I will NEVER use City Cab or Top Cab again, I will always wait for the next
I have used these folks twice, I live in Newburyport, and needed a ride from Boston Eye and Ear(both places) DUDES were wonderful, yes it cost a bit of money, but heck I live almost in NH. They were timely, ignored my telling them how to go. BUT last time hubby was having retinal surgery, they told me not to worry about the time, and the guy with whom I spoke told me when they would be there(after I changed the time 4 times, yeah surgery). These folks are WONDERFUL.
This is the company to use. Great courteous service, clean cab with seat belts out and ready to use. I called the night before for a 5:15 ride to the airport from JP and he was there early. Very polite and helpful, NO RADIO blaring, just the right amount of conversation, great price. Now Top Cab is in my contacts as the cab to use in Boston.

I left my phone in the cab. The driver gladly returned them and didnt expect any money . There are good people left in the world.
Both directions, we were told the cab would be 10 minutes until it got there. The first wait was about 24 minutes and the second was about 30. They call you when it arrives, so dont wait outside for them. You may also want to call well ahead of when you need them. Or, better yet, use Uber.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE NO ONE SPEAKS ENGLISH I HAD A GUEST LEAVE HER CREDIT CARD IN THE CAB I CALLED TO HAVE THEM CONTACT THE DRIVER THEY SAID THEY CANT CONTACT THE DRIVER.IF THATS THE CASE THEN HOW DOES ANYONE ORDER A CAB THRU THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR OVER 45 MINUTES BEFORE HANGING UP THE GUEST ENDED UP CANCELLING HER CREDIT CARD ALL BECAUSE NO ONE AT THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY COULDNT CONTACT THE DRIVER.
Scheduled 3:30 am pick up in advance, they simply did I not show up, almost missed our flight.

Horrible! I left a back pack in one of their cabs and they told me that the man who drove me from the airport does not work with us, but must still have our decals on. The man I spoke with was rude and hung up on me when I asked him what to do about finding the driver. He claimed that he did not know the drivers name. I do not know how that is even possipossible. They basically seem to be crooks. Im filing a police report and a better business bureau report.
Rode in cab 1572 on 4/14/2014 between 1030-1130am.His machine would not work and I did not have any cash on me. I told him the only way I can pay is by credit card. I told him to call his company to figure out another way and he refused, so I got out of the cab.He followed me into my destination and ask me to pay. I called his company for him to figure it out and he refused to to talk to them until I put them on speaker phone.Its unbelievable one driver can cause so much commotion over this when all he had to do was call his own company.Top Cab - I do hope you do something about this driver.
Probably the worst cab company Ive ever used. Had to take them from the airport. The cab smelled and wasnt clean. After I got out I noticed I forgot something in the cab. According to them, theyre still trying to get in touch with the driver... No wonder cabs are losing business to Uber/Lyft...
I started researching taxis about 3 days before my trip and was kind of mortified. Crazy fares, ride taxi drivers, horrible driving, stranded ppl...the reviews for Boston cab companies are pretty bad. I tried reserving Smurf Transportation but they were kind enough to email me before I landed to let me know their prices might be too high as I was asking to be picked up at BOS (Smurf is in Waltham). I declined the service and asked my boss what to do. He instructed me that thee are plenty of taxis outside the airport waiting on arrivals. I landed, got my luggage, got to the taxi line (great signage-labeled well) and was in a taxi within 5 minutes of exiting the airport.My driver was a snippy with me rolling my bag toward him. Guess he wanted to do it while I was just being a little courteous. The ride was fast, cheaper than I thought is would be ($30) and without any issue. Very pleased.
I ordered a cab for six am and they didnt show up until six thirty. I had to run through the airport to catch my flight. Terrible.
One of their drivers cut me off in traffic last night on the mass pike, then stuck his arm out the window and gave me the finger. Class act! Especially in this holiday season.
Took a cab ride from the airport to Waltham and what should have been a 40$ ride at most ended up being a 70$ ride. I asked several times the driver to take an exit and he would ignore me until we missed the exit. He took me for an idiot and like and idiot I ended up paying almost double the regular fare. When I contacted the company asking for a fare readjustment they told me the only thing I could do was to dispute the fare with my bank. Which basically translates to yeah, we are keeping your money. This is why Uber is so succesful because things like this would never happen. My advice do not use this service.
The owner John and his mechnics broke differential on my AWD car by installing the wrong size tires. I took him to the court where he lied about what I was/wasnt told by his mechanics. He told that I am setting him up because I want money. While still in the court he also called me an idiot.
Its been the second time that the driver took us for non-locals and did a detour through South Boston instead of Sumner Tunnel for getting to Cambridge Kendall Square from the airport. Second time with two kids in the car we got in slow, congested traffic in South Boston, for no good reason, only for the drivers meter to run longer. Cars were old and not nice. Will never take Top Cab ever again.
I never rode with this taxi, but I was crossing the street as a pedestrian and one of their drivers almost rode me over. And I was on a crosswalk! I yelled at him and he stopped, lowered down and his window and gave me the middle finger!!!! I wanted to get his license plate, but he accelerated and drove off so I couldnt get it.
Horrible service, I called 4 times and had to wait 1 hour and never got a cab. Almost missed my flight, dont rely on this cab service if you need to be somewhere.
