Got an oil change here...a couple weeks later someone tells me my brake lights are out...I go to replace them, but theyre completely missing. I definitely wasnt missing brake lights before... And no one has had access to my car since I got my oil change...cant help but think this isnt just a coincidence...

I made an appointment. Showed up. They had no idea I had an appointment. He jacked up my car right away and came back out 10 min later to tell me they don’t have a filter for my car. They said they could change just the oil. I said I wanted to see the filter because I hadn’t changed one on this car before. They were either trying to pull a fast one on me or they didn’t care enough to make an appointment reminder.

Im so glad we found this place! Initially went to Jeffs Auto down the street where they seemed nice, but after doing some research on the quote for our repairs we realized that they were trying to screw us out of a lot of money. Thats when we reached out to Kennys, where Omar was incredibly helpful and great from the start. By the end of the process (one week later) we had our car back running wonderfully and had saved, give or take, $1000! Dont be intimated by the sketchy aesthetic of the place, Omar and his team are exceptionally honest and friendly. I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could, definitely my first choice for mechanical work anywhere in greater Seattle area.

Ive been going to Kennys Auto Care with my two cars for about two years now. I find the prices to be good - significantly better than my dealership... And they are also very honest about the work. I never feel like they are recommending more than what is actually needed. Youll find the shop gets a lot of business because they do good work for a good price. Also, I like the guy that manages the place. I think his name is Omar? Good guy, I feel like Im known there at this point.

Kennys Auto Care is THE best place to take any vehicle. Omar gives the best customer service in King County. His pricing and expertise is second to none. ALWAYS has our vehicles done on time and at or below stated estimate. I only hesitate to make this public because I dont want him to get so busy that he cant helps us in the 1-2 days that he currently books appointments. 5 star or better. As other reviewers have stated, Kennys is THE BEST I have found for providing excellent customer service, honesty, and accountability. Omar (the manager) has that rare quality of being able to listen and communicate carefully, in such a way that he is exceptionally efficient and accurate in his work. The work he and his team have done on our vehicles has consistently resulted in them running smoothly, even when other mechanics have failed and tried to tell me that what I was experiencing couldnt be happening. As other reviewers have mentioned, Omar does not talk down or get annoyed when I dont understand and ask for more explanation. He has encouraged me to learn the basics of auto maintenance, showing me how to check and top fluids. Ive had two situations in which he has gone so far over and above, in which he could have easily charged me to perform an easy service, in which he instead explained to me how I could do it myself and sent me to the auto parts store with an itemized list. Also like other reviewers, Im almost wary to post this review, knowing that as others realize how great the service is at Kennys, it will become harder to get appointments there, but they totally deserve the kudos.

This guy is honest. Let me say that first. If he cant fix it, hell tell you and tell you where to go. He had the chance to overcharge a friend of mine who is a 20-something girl and even got approval for it when he thought it would be necessary, but he figured out a way to do the work and save her the money and didnt charge her for the extra (even though approved!). I had quotes to repair my AC in the $1900 to $2100 range, and he did it for $258. Its rare to find a good, honest mechanic. Kennys is both. You wont regret bringing your car here.

I have taken different vehicles to this shop 3 or 4 times and every time they have done an excellent job and have charged me less than expected, because 2 of the trips have been done after taking the car into Firestone close to the house and them not fixing it correctly and charging me more.I will never take another vehicle anywhere else. This last time, I failed the smog test and I decided to take it to Kennys even though they were not on the approved state list for the work. They looked at it and gave me a call stating that the parts needed to fix the issue were brand new. Instead of just replacing all the existing parts they dug into it and found a small part within and solved the problem. Then they drove it around and let it run for a while to make sure it would pass. I only was charged $120 for part and labor. And I passed.I am sure that it would have cost me $300 to $500 at Firestone from past experience. I generally do not trust mechanical shops, but I trust this one.

I was so happy to have found Kennys Auto Care. They are the most reliable, trustworthy, and honest auto repair shop EVER! I want to thank them by giving them a top notch rating that they truly deserve. This will be my new go to place.

Kennys auto is the only place I trust with my car. They are affordable and they are quick. Also they dont charge for diagnosis. I used to take my car to Buckys but now Kennys is the only place i will go. Omar has the best customer service, he makes things easy to understand. And as a woman, he doesnt make me feel dumb when discussing cars parts and repairs. They are the best auto shop in Renton!

Went to omar to find what was wrong with maxima,droped off at 8am got call from him at 930 pin pointed the repairs,he was extremly flexable on the repair cost,plan to take all of my repairs to kennys auto repair,highly recommend this shop.know one can compete with his prices.5 stars.most HONEST MECHANIC AROUND!!!THANKS OMAR.
