Nothing like waking up on a beautiful Friday morning with a cracked tooth… I searched around on google and found The Reno Dentist and called for an appointment. They were completely booked but were able to squeeze me in because of the pain I was in.The receptionist, Christian, was so nice and kindThe dental assistant was amazing, knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable with the procedure.Dr. Sykes was such awesome dentist with a sense of humor and truly worked his magic with my situation. I’m normally terrified of going to the dentist and he made me feel totally at ease. He even called me after they closed to make sure I was feeling ok.Also, they quoted me a higher price but because the procedure went easier than expected they charged me less. NEVER had that happen at a dentist before.If you are looking for a updated/clean office, professional staff and the kindest dentist in Reno I highly suggest The Reno Dentist.

I had an excellent experience at The Reno Dentist! Dr. Adam’s ensured that I knew exactly what was going on as he walked me through my X-Rays. He was very helpful and super friendly. Julie (possibly julia) cleaned my teeth, showed me how to better care for my teeth at home, and was very kind. And she has some cute animals, ask her to show you! Everyone here had an awesome attitude, from the front desk to the dental assistants and everyone in between. Overall it was a great experience and I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough!

The Reno DentistEveryone there that I came into contact with has been very friendly on both my visits there. Doctor Sykes takes time to explain all options and procedures available. His assistant made me feel at ease instantly. A big plus indeed. Unfortunately, she will be moving soon so I will be looking forward to getting acquainted with that person as well.To be honest, I like many people I know, have literally hated going to any dentist. Thus most certainly not doing my smile even a bit of good. I simply didnt go. I would only go if there was no other choice and the pain prevailed. I am paying for my disregard of years of avoiding treatment. Now after some throbbing pain and the need to have that pain gone I have found a dental office and more importantly a dentist that is knowledgeable and offers multiple options in treatments. I now feel confident that I will be able to smile in public again and look forward to chewing my food normally. Very professional atmosphere and friendly people. Professional group, and the most comprehensive dental exam I have ever had. Worth every penny. Dr. Adams is professional and thurl he did not rush any conclusions and wanted to think about the best possible route for my complex conditions. Now that is something I can appreciate he wasnt trying to sell me any sort of package or recommend until he thought about it and wants to come up with the right plan for my circumstances and situation my trust is already starting to build with this practice.

Dr Sykes is wonderful!!!!! He was able to fix my hypersensitive tooth within minutes. He and his staff are amazing, efficient and professional. Dr Sykes offers multiple options for everything I have ever needed. He makes sure I leave comfortable and happy every time.

If there was a 0 rating on here Id mark that for this dentist group. My daughter has had nothing but price gouging issues with this dentist office. First of all, I want to say that when there is an estimate for some work and the dentist gets paid that estimate, upfront before the procedure, then suddenly tells my daughter that it will actually cost another $200 for them to do the work that was quoted is poor business. Another red flag here is when my daughter called to cancel an appointment, with at least 24 hours notice, the receptionist tells her that for now on they will charge a $200 deposit when she calls to make an appointment!! I feel as if my college aged daughter is being taken advantage of. To make a horrific long story short, we will be changing dentists because of this poor practice and our insurance company will be notified about our concerns!

Over the weekend I had a toothache that grew into a debilitating nightmare. I called on Monday morning and they got me in and treated my pain and the truth.Dr Adams is very professional I would highly recommend.

Hands down the best dentist I have ever been too. I am from Colorado and wish I could say we had dentists like this back home. The dentist went above and beyond to help my discomfort and allow me to make it home to Colorado pain free. The procedure was a breeze and he walked me through step by step. All the staff was friendly, kind, and attentive. Amazing customer service. I definitely recommend this dentist to anyone in the Reno NV area.

Got my wisdom teeth pulled here and the procedure was painless. Had a smooth recovery and did not find any kind of pain management necessary because they healed so fast.

If I could give a negative 5 review I would. This company is unprofessional and unethical. My daughter who is 19 and a college student in Reno called this company for a cleaning and asked if they take her insurance, their response was they take all insurances. She has amazing insurance through her dad. They got her scheduled. Today she went and was there for 45 minutes, did x-rays and charged her 50% of the price for the x-rays her cost was $178.00 her insurance covers x-rays 100%.  They told her that it was a comprehensive exam and that they didnt have time to do her cleaning which is the only thing that she wanted done. Her dad had called the office and said that before anything was to be done they needed to call him as he is the policy holder. They did not do this; they took our daughter in the room and spoke to her as she is an adult and able to make decisions (their words). Yes she is an adult but she is also not on her own insurance and has never had to go through something like this before. They told her that she had a co-pay. A co-pay is way different than paying for 50% of the cost of the x-rays and the visit. She went out to her car and called her dad in tears who made her walk back in and ask if they were out of network and they stated that they were. This is information that should have been given over the phone before the appointment was set. My daughter also asked for her money back or get a credit and Rosa at the front desk said rudely/snooty No unfortunately we can not do that because you knew what you were paying.My daughters dad and I both called and spoke with Stephanie who acted as if she was offended that we would be calling and advocating for our daughter. She told me that my daughter had never asked for a refund.The way things are done in this company are completely opposite of how any patient let alone a new one should be treated.I feel that this company is looking for young college students that they can take advantage of by advertising that they accept all insurances when that is not the case (FALSE ADVERTISING IN MY BOOK).  Young adults that may not have the knowledge of being an adult and feel like they can stand up for themselves, ask questions and say no to the service because they are already there.  The staff was rude and unhelpful or even uncompassionate about the situation. My daughter stood in their office crying and they acted like it was an inconvenience that she was back in there upset and asking a question.PARENTS, make sure that your young adult children do not go here thinking that it will be covered by their insurance.This does make me wonder how many other unknowing kids have suffered this same fate. They collect the money and then they dont want to go back for the cleaning that they originally wanted.

The tooth to the right of your front two rabbit teeth was bugging me. I am a UPS driver and was losing sleep over this tooth that was rotting out of my head. I missed work to get this tooth taken care of. When everyone else was busy I was able to call say it was an emergency get in and get it taken care of that same day. Truly some outstanding service. And some of the best dental work I have had. Normally when I get numbed its either I just resist the novocaine or the dentist had not done it right. I would always have intense pain getting fillings Etc. The guys here that did it I didnt feel a thing. That to me demonstrates some true mastery. I will be using these guys as my main dentist from now on even if it is a little far from my house in Sparks. I would recommend these guys to my family and anyone else that would need Dental Care. 5 out of 5

The reno dentist on 7th was amazing today. No body has been able to help me with this horrible tooth and I called this place this morning and got my molar pulled today. Im so happy now and feel way better. Dr Sykes did an amazing job. Thank you Reno Dentist 💙💚💙💚

The Reno Dentist are awesome!! Im a long haul truck driver and needed dental help. They got me in right away and got me out of pain. Every single person in the office is very nice and professional. Going to the dentist is never fun but the staff at the Reno Dentist are so great and accommodating that you forget youre there. Everyone from the front desk, the assistants, the hygienists amd especially the Doctors. Doctor Adams is so patient and does great work. This is my second time there and I was just as impressed as I was the first time. Both of my appointments where made last minute. Kind of emergency calls one would say. I wasn’t sure what to expect but both times the worked me into the schedule that same day I called and when I got there everyone was very friendly and Dr. Adams was vary professional and understanding with my situation. The team had me in and out of there in no time at all and vary little discomfort on my end. I will defiantly recommend the practice to anyone and will be going back myself hopefully not to soon.

A truly amazing experience. They are state of the art. I needed a rather tricky Crown. They used a Laser to trim my gums and I was able to watch a computer guided machine craft my Crown and cook it in just 45 minutes. I was in and out with a new Crown in 90 minutes.My past experience involved clay molds and 2 week wait for my impression to be sent off and crafted off site.The staff was attentive and professional and I spent almost no time waiting to be treated when I arrived.

I am blown away each appointment I have. EVERYONE is so friendly and helpful. Everything has been so wonderful. What a great environment!

At 5pm yesterday while eating kettle corn, my tooth cracked in half! I am new to the area and had no idea where to turn. I found ‘The Reno Dentist’ on google and gave a them a call. They managed to fit me in this morning! They were kind, welcoming, and SO FAST! My smile is as good as new. Just like that, I’ve found my new dentist. 🤩

Some aspects could be better

An amazing staff the created a welcoming, comfortable environment. The procedure was straightforward and I was given all the necessary and available information. It was a quick and pleasant visit and the Doctors really make it an effort to take care of you as a patient.

Bad timing on my part, not having the dental insurance. So it was pricey for me - $150 xray + $374 for same day extraction. HOWEVER, I absolutely could not wait another hour and this office was top notch, they were able to remove my cursed, rotting tooth the same day and the Dentist and staff were absolutely wonderful. Everyone including myself left their office smiling which was a good sign, and Dr. Adams was very personable and kind which I appreciated. Took less than 10mins to remove it once the meds kicked in. Left their office pain free and healing went great! I didnt even need extra pain meds. 2 weeks later and its fully healed up and naturally sealed up. Thank you Reno Dentist!

Lifesavers, not only did I receive excellent care I was able to get seen the same day, which was awesome for me because I was so n severe pain which isnt a never any fun. I had to have a tooth extracted and another one filled, I understand when your dealership my with dental anything it can always get complicated but with my insurance it was less than $100 I am not only completely satisfied with the awesome care I received (thanks to the awesome dentist I had and his amazing assistant Madison) but Im sitting at home now completely pain free 😁. Just had my first visit! Wonderful staff, specifically Rose, Rachel and Tiffany. Dr. Sykes is very nice, professional, and takes time to learn about his patients. The office atmosphere is calming and they care about your comfort and making sure all of your questions are addressed.

I went here for a problem I was having with a root canal. The dentist I was previously going to in Fallon just could not get my tooth right even after multiple visits and attempts. I came here for the first time and the doctor was absolutely amazing !!!!! He knew exactly what he was doing! I will be coming here for my cleanings and any problems I have with my teeth for the time left I have in Nevada!!! Love it here, I highly recommend this doctor as I am a super picky person.

I’m not a fan of the dentist like most because of my own silly fears. I had an impacted wisdom tooth that needed to be removed and I put it off for a year. I finally found the Reno Dentist made the appointment and got it taken care of. Staff was very cool and accommodating and the extraction procedure was literally over in 3 minutes. I am happy I went with the Reno Dentist.

Let me start off by saying, my dental anxiety is pretty bad. So bad that I’ve avoided the dentist for a little over ten years. When I had a tooth break unexpectedly I had little time to find a dentist. After searching the internet and reading all the great reviews I settled on The Reno Dentist. My first visit I walked in crying due to being in a lot of pain, everyone was super nice and caring and eased my worries. Dr. Sykes was my Doctor and was very kind and talked me through everything including different treatment plans/costs. After that Emergency visit I felt very comfortable and taken care of by everyone at The Reno Dentist so much that I decided to make them my home base for dentistry and started with a dental plan to get on track with my oral health. I’ve gone back to the Reno Dentist since my first Emergency visit and as soon as I walked in they remembered my name, little things about my life that we talked about and it was the same happy, genuine welcome from everyone who worked there. I highly recommend The Reno Dentist for all you dental care! They are Great!

Every one is super friendly. I had a difficult root canal and crown on a tooth that other dentists had told me to just have removed. The Adams brothers took care of me. One did the root canal and the other did the crown. So far I am very pleased with the results. I signed up for their comprehensive exam and intend to have them become my permanent dentist.

I called The Reno dentist in hopes of getting in within a couple days for them to see a tooth that needed a crown ASAP. They were so helpful over the phone, they got me in the next day. The office is very nice and the technology they use is amazing! I was able to get an old filling replaced with a crown in a few hours! Everyone in there from the Dr., the assistants and the receptionists were all amazing! I would highly recommend the Reno dentist!

My experience with the the Reno Dentist ever since I walked in on my 1st visit has been amazing. Front desk staff is very welcoming and friendly. Every staff member is kind, professional and easy to have a fun conversation with. My doctor and hygienist were so gentle and kept my comfort in mind when doing a deep cleaning tooth extraction. In my situation I recently had gotten dental insurance after years of not having any. It was very emotional for me. They made me feel taken care of and comforted me when I needed it. The Reno Dentist is truly worth going to and I honestly feel like I am taken care of like family.

I love this practice, which is a weird thing to say about the dentist but it’s true. Everyone is very kind and attentive and explains exactly what/why/how something works. They helped me find new products to support my dental health and it didn’t feel like they were “upselling” me. I could tell they honestly cared and were trying to help me find the best products.I can’t recommend them enough.

They got me in quick. They presented me with options instead of trying to push or pressure me into anything. Very helpful with financial options for me without insurance. I will definitely be going back.

So scheduled an appointment for my husband. He saw the dentist and said he absolutely loved him. My experience has been with the ladies up front. Oh my gosh are they super sweet! Plus, I absolutely love that their schedule fluctuates. Its so nice that they are open later some days in order to accommodate peoples work schedules. I wished more businesses of all kinds did that. I am so happy my dentist wasnt answering their phone. I called these guys up with a massive toothache. They didnt have anything open that day but could get me in in a few days. I explained to them I had a wedding to be in the next day and asked about pain alternatives until I could be seen. After I got off the phone I got a call 10 min later saying they all agreed to see me so I wouldnt be in pain for the wedding. Dr Jeff and his assistant were amazing! He is very gentle and attentive! He didnt let me be in pain during the procedure! I have found my new dentist!

The Reno Dentist is so great for me. The staff and dentists are very friendly and make sure to put you at ease. They have a sense humor too, which is so helpful in a dentist office plus high level of professionalism. I had to have a root canal that was close to painless and then a crown replacement afterwards. They were supportive and kept me at ease during the procedures. I was even offered headphones that helped a lot. Oh, and they make their crowns on same visit so you dont have to deal with a temporary.They offer snacks and phone chargers in the waiting room, and bottled water if you ask.Front desk and hygienists are very friendly and good at what they do.Highly recommended !

The Reno Dentists staff is always cheerful and professional. Dr. Sykes and Dr. Adams have been consistently able to address all my questions and concerns thoroughly and responsibly. The work they and the Hygienists do (Stephanie in particular!) is top-notch, yet aside from when a serious tone is required, everyone still manages to keep the office atmosphere jocular and uplifting. Its very different from the more dreary dentistry experiences I had growing up... I always leave The Reno Dentist with a smile (and not just to show off my teeth)!

I was very nervous when i moved to Nevada from Arizona and having to find a new dentist to trust. The first appointment everyone was so friendly and welcoming, one thing i noticed was they were right on time. You werent waiting forever to then wait again in the room. They started off with a tour of the office and explained the reasoning of why they had name of rooms instead of numbers. They were so helpful and understanding with my very active 2 year old. They fit my fiance and me in and helped keep an eye on him while i got my cleaning. They even have snacks in the waiting room. Couldnt be more satisfied with the dentist! I also drive 2 hours from home just to come to this dentist. THEY ARE AMAZING!

Ive always hated the idea of going to the dentist, but here they make you feel welcomed and at ease. From getting to know each patient, to little gifts and thank you cards, any business could learn a thing or two about customer service from this office. They didnt try to push unnecessary treatments, explained everything way more in depth than any other dental practice has, and kept me comfortable for the 10 hours I was there. Ive been recommending everyone I know to this practice now and will continue to do so.

I’m one of those people scared of going to dentist. Reno dentist staff has made me so comfortable I don’t get nervous anymore. In addition they have helped me with the best way possible to get maximum dental treatment utilizing my insurance. Cherann and Stephanie thank you. Dr Sykes and Dr Jeff are awesome. Dr Jeff set up my root canal utilizing specialist Dr. Tim and Dr Jeff did a permanent crown for me the same day. The process was amazing. And Marisol (dental assistant) well she’s incredible. I loved her get down to business and very professional approach. Honestly all the staff I’ve dealt with that Reno Dentist is incredibly wonderful. They also give back to our community volunteering services to our homeless. This was something that caught my eye to this office to begin with. Thanks to all of you for your hard work and taking such good care of me. I wouldn’t be able to enjoy this upcoming vacation with out your services. Tm

Dr. Sykes is very friendly, and does great work. He has an artistic skillful eye, and was able to help fix my tooth on my first visit. The rest of his staff was also very courteous and helpful. Fantastic experience! I was not disappointed :)

I will never go anywhere else! As soon as you walk into the Reno Dentist it feels like you walked into your families home. All the staff are super friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. They are always willing to work you into their schedule if you have an emergency. I have never had any problems with the work they have done on my teeth and they will always call you after a procedure to make sure you are doing well. Hands down the most professional/amazing office you will ever step foot in. Thanks Reno Dentist for always making it a fantastic experience for me and my family!

Best dentists in town! I have been going there ever since I moved to Reno and I wouldn’t change. They took me in last minute when I had a tooth ache and Dr. Adams who is so amazing at what he does, took care of my achy tooth and did an incredible job! Assitants are great and staff is friendly! I cannot say enough good things about my experience at the Reno Dentist. From the moment I walked in it was obvious the people there knew how to do their jobs. More importantly, it was obvious they were there to make my experience the best it could possibly be.I was given a tour of the office which made it easy to find my way in and out and find the restroom without having to ask. Everyone I came into contact with after my initial meet & greet knew my name and introduced themselves with a handshake. I was offered something to drink, offered headphones, and made as comfortable as possible. These guys have the latest technology (I got a crown 3-D printed in under an hour!) AND the best customer service. The receptionists were kind and efficient. The assistant Brittney was incredibly courteous and knowledgeable.Last but certainly not least both Dr.Sykes and Dr.Z were capable, efficient dentists who communicated what was happening clearly and did their job well. Better yet, my favorite part was a follow up call about 3 hours after my appointment from Dr. Sykes himself to check and make sure everything was feeling okay after anesthesia wore off. Wow! When was the last time a dentist did that?This kind of treatment makes me want to be a patient for life. Thank you so much for all your help guys!

Great dentist but very expensive. After my visit I looked up what the cost of services i got should have been and it was at the very top end for the fillings. Also they charged $100 for n2o gas and when googled it said n2o costs an average of $50. I really like this place I really wish it wasnt so overpriced...they were great with my kid who I had to bring to my appointment and they are very nice. If you can afford it this is a great dentist.
