The entire staff from front desk to hygienist treated me kindly and professionally to achieve a deep cleaning which is no simple task!

Appointment scheduled for today. Showed up and my appointment had disappeared. Apologized and scheduled me for a MONTH later. No excuse as to how they dropped the ball. Tammy the new manager seems to be in charge of this happening. It also happened to someone else two weeks ago. Rude and incompetent.

I recently received some bad news. I have cancer in my mouth searching for a dental office to evaluate my teeth for a few extractions, Calling and calling no openings. So I went to work and my son took over and Absolute Dental on Fourth St. Reno just happened to have a opening. I was anxious as usual and worried don’t like at all to visit a dental office. Thankfully to my surprise I found this office so full of wonderful people from the front all the way to the dentist I never thought you could have peace at the dental office. I want to thank all that work there and encourage anyone else to give them the opportunity to serve you.God Bless All.

Review update: I was a patient here years ago, had the WORST billing experience, to the point it was scammy, I had to go MULTIPLE times with receipts to clear up one issue only for them to tell me I didn’t pay a different time, then I would go back with that receipt. I wound up double paying for a very expensive mouthguard because I couldn’t find the receipt.I left a good review initially, mostly because while I was still physically in the office during a visit while they had my credit card in their hands, I was pressured into leaving a Google review, and I absolutely regret giving them anything more than one star. Go somewhere else if you want quality care that you pay for once, this place is neither.

The worst dental experience ever. Dentist wanted to pull all my teeth and give me dentures.I only needed a one tooth partial. My teeth are perfectly fine. Found a dentist who took care of my needs. Stay away from this place. Butchers.

Worst place to go. I was having a severe toothache and doctor did nothing . No medicine nothing. Inspite of curing my current problem they were trying to convince me to buy there deals . They said we dont cover anything even if you have insurance. So whats the point of having insurance then. i am still in pain from last 2 months but no help was provided to me. They are just playing with patient’s health and nothing else. A BIG NO TO THIS PLACE:-((

This location has very friendly and caring staff. Starting with the receptionist, she is sweet and scheduled me with ease. The dentist is especially mindful of anxiety and is as calming as a dentist with a needle in your mouth could be. Natalie in billing is kind and takes time to explain everything to you thoroughly that deals with insurance coverage and payment options. Vanessa the dental assistant is wonderful as well. She was pleasant to speak to and made me laugh. All of them together made it easy for me to finally muster up the courage to get what needed to be done, done. Thanks to you guys I feel much better. :)

I had a very good experience today at Absolute Dental. The first time I had been to the dentist since COVID. Everyone was really courteous, caring, and professional. The receptionist was really nice. And the person who did my X-rays did a good job. The dentist who did my exam has an awesome bedside manner and put me at ease. I hadnt been to the dentist in about a year so I was nervous about going. I recommend Absolute Dental. They are doing a great job in this unusual time and I walked out of there feeling a lot better about going to the dentist.

About a month ago, I came in from out of town. I had a bad toothache. My wife call around and got me in as an emergency. They pulled my wisdom tooth and gave me medicine. GREAT SERVICE!!

I went to this dentist about five years ago. The dentist I had was a woman who had no time for me. She barely looked at my x-ray and starts to drill on my teeth then stopped and said oops and flips the x-ray over and said it was upside down then proceeds to drill. After she has filled the holes she prescribed me amoxicillin, which on the front of my file it says anaphylactic shock, amoxicillin in big bold letters. So I asked her are you sure thats what you want to give me, maybe look on my file? And she scoffed at me and said oh youre allergic? And gives me mouth wash and sends me home. Now I was five months pregnant when this happened and I was on medicaid. When I got home I realized I had a hole in the side of my tooth that was a healthy tooth prior to going to absolute dental. So I called them and they said I could come back but they would be billing my insurance for coming back in. So I called medicaid and they told me they can only cover the one appointment for me since I was so late in my pregnancy. I wouldnt send my worst enemy to absolute dental. I am looking into pressing charges against them. Though I believe Im just outside of the statute of limitations.

I had really great experience with them everyone is very friendly, courteous, very professional & My Teeth turned out really awesome. I would refer them to anyone I know.

This experience was as close to torture as it could possibly be (in the legal sense) So I told the Dr I could still feel the front of the tooth I was getting pulled. He said ok injected some more numbing agent in and then instantly starts to pull the tooth. Broke the whole top off because of how bad the rot and infection in my tooth was and then kept telling me not to move as he tried to get the roots, ( i was already staying as still as possible, the shakes had set in it hurt so bad)I could feel everything he was doing at this point. He just kept saying well you shouldnt have let it get this bad and you wouldnt be going through this. No Compassion whatsoever. I will not be returning for any future dental care.

I appreciate that this dental company accepts Medicaid. They have help me with my smile.

Came in for a cleaning, all that happened was x-rays and a referral to a periodontist. They tried to scare me into more services than I needed. It took a month and 6 phone calls to get a copy of my x-rays to take to my other dentist. Terrible experience overall.

I went to this location about 6 months ago for work done, now I am having unbearable pain, I contacted the live chat agent for assistance as no one from the office has gotten back to me, I tried to explain to them I needed an emergency appointment per a specialist I spoke to and they could not offer an appointment out till August, despite it being an emergency, they did not answer any of my concerns and would not give me a referral to an endodontist.

I had terrible service today I waited for an appointment for three months they canceled my appointment when I got there saying I didnt confirm my appointment in time I waited on the phone for two hours for someone to answer the phone and have a call back worst experience iv ever had they tried to reschedule my appointment for three more months out I will be going somewhere else I do not recommend this place to anyone

Didn’t even numb me in the right place for the teeth I was having taken out. Was in horrible pain and I’ve had multiple teeth extracted at once before and never had to go through this. I’m sore and swollen for no reason now because they were unable to even do the procedure.

Dr. Mc Gruder and his staff is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! I Hated and was so frightened to go to the dentist for years! I go in and am about to jump out of my seat and all of a sudden I hear Doc calling down the office for Anna and Elsa like in Frozen, mind you there is an Anna in the office but no Elsa! All I could do was laugh and All my anxiety was gone from that moment forward! They are great! The only thing I dont like about the company is when you call to get scheduled, you are rerouted to Vegas and it takes FOREVER for them to answer or call back. I even didnt get a call back till the next day.

My boyfriend went to have teeth pulled. The doctor did not numb him enough or sedate him enough. So he was still fidgety from the pain of trying to pull his teeth. Ended up not pulling any teeth. However they had his dentures ready. Not great but not horrible.

I have been a continuously satisfied patient at Absolute Dental on Keystone for approximately 4 years now. I have had fillings done, a crown made, bottom partials made, and cleanings done, all successfully. Dentist Amy Nygren and the staff work well together. I am finally happy with the correct bite that I now have with my partial and natural teeth; this took skill and patience to achieve. Thank you all for your outstanding service.

Me and my kids had appointments at the same time. The front office was very nice and welcoming. While we had three appointments back to back, we were in and out in a relatively short time. The hygienist, Mona, was extremely nice and knowledgeable. She had a gentle hand and I was very satisfied with her work. Dr. Nygren was professional and offered insight to my families dental needs. Will be going back for sure.

Never again.. They had no updates on not taking walk ins during covid 19. Waited 2 hours on phone to make appointment, never got said appointment. 2 hour hold no answer. I think theyre taking advantage of covid 19 to just refuse to do a lot of work. Problem is theyre the only emergency dentist that takes medicaid. Im still in pain and still cant make an appointment. Monday Im calling western dental and making an appointment with them.

At first I had a rough start at the office but the dental assistance ladies were great, I had a filling and a tooth pulled. I was a nervous wreck about both but they helped me by giving me stuff to help calm my nerves and relax me, let me babble on and talked to me too. The Dr. (Amy) is nice, quiet but got the job done. Id recommend Absolute Dental to anyone, in the past no way but things have gotten better there since a year ago.

My wife and I scheduled for exam and cleaning. Professional staff and great service. You have to see their sports room with banners and pictures. Will bring our kids for their exam and cleaning.

These guys are amazing. I absolutely hate dentists but Dr McGruder and Myra made sure that I was comfortable throughout my entire procedure.

While my initial visit could have been better (I waited over an hour to be seen and then waited some more after I was seen just to get an insurance question answered) Julie the dental hygienist is excellent. No one enjoys going to the dentist and Julie understands this. She is personable, knowledgeable and has perfected her bedside manner. Highly recommend.

Great friendly staff! They are very gentle when doing my cleaning and fillings, and listened when I told them I need more numbing on my teeth. Very quick as well.

I’ve had multiple cleanings done here (Tifini makes it not an awkward dentist appointment :P), as well as my wisdom teeth pulled and a mouth guard fitted! With multiple locations, it’s very easy to get an appointment scheduled and they don’t overbook so you’re stuck waiting forever.. Would recommend if you’re looking for a dentist!

This office and dental team are the best! I refer everyone I know here. especially to the hygienist Julie. She always does great work and she cares about her patient and take her time to explain everything so you never felt rushed. What a great experience!

An Absolutely fabulous experience.I decided to try absolute after seeing a very exclusive expensive dentist (and not very often) in order to save money. I have not been at all disappointed. Care at Absolute is thorough, professional and courteous. Did I mention affordable?

The staff and location is great and professional I only came in for x-rays and a checkup. This literally took me 2.5 hrs. Other than that place is great I, I just wish I didnt waste 2hrs of my day waiting watching YouTube vids.

I had to come in before my insurance expired not to long ago. They brought me in and quickly got a treatment plan set up to take care of the problem. Come to find out I had to make multiple visits and all within 2 weeks. They made it happen without a hitch. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Especially Dawn!

Came this morning for my 5 year old son to get an exam and cleaning. Everyone was so friendly and great with him. The Dentist can be scary for some kids but they made him feel so comfortable and he was happy through the entire process.

I had a bridge made up that did not fit the first 2 times, They went out of their way to make it fit the way that it should! The lab who made the bridge did not make it right and Absolute Dental, and Dr. C had them make it right! I can talk like the teeth were my real teeth, and I can eat with no problems! The doctor attempted to convince me to get a tooth fixed based upon cosmetics and I witnessed a parent of an under aged patient in the lobby being told they needed to schedule an appointment to get the kids wisdom teeth removed with zero discussion of why or if. It seems that they are very interested in quantity over quality.

Everyone is really friendly, almost no wait time, reasonably priced, and Dr. Jesse Cardenas does a great job. He really listens to you. All the work Ive had done went really smoothly. Didnt have to spend hours at the dentist. My boyfriend saw another dentist prior, and after going to Absolute it turns out the other dentist was trying to get him to get work done that he didnt need.Its really nice that they give discounts if youre cash patients like we are as well. Also, Julie, the Hygienist, is super nice, knowledgeable and does a great job, only $60. One more thing, they scheduled me really quickly, they saw me and also my boyfriend right away. I made my appointments a week out, I didnt need to schedule an appointment 3 months ahead of time like other dentists.

This staff is amazing! Everyone is friendly! Paper work was a lot but they got me in and in the back fast! Honestly one of the best offices I have been to.

Really a poorly run business. I was told they could not fax or mail my x-ray films, that I had to come pick it up. I drove over an hour just to come get my x-rays, turns out they had just made a copy on a half piece of paper. This could have easily been mailed or faxed. I asked them why they couldn’t mail this and she Said it would get distorted in the mail. Really? Do not recommend.

Had a really good experience! Staff was nice, was able to get in fast for my bad tooth, same day appointment for a molar extraction. Doctor was really gentle and caring, made sure that my mouth was numbed and kept numbing me through out the process so i would feel no pain. No idea why they are getting negative reviews, my experience was extremely satisfying and ill be going back there again.

Came in with only an hours notice to get denture trimmed in time for Thanksgiving dinner. The day before Thanksgiving. I waited only 5 minutes in lobby, and MAYBE 10 in the chair. Simple, accurate, quick. What more could you ask for? Thank you. Impressive for a first visit. I will be back!

She made the experience of having to lose most of my teeth and transition to dentures as easy as can be expected...her back office staff is very kind as well and i am always welcomed by the front office staff Debbie and Courtney with a warm smile and hello and as I leave they make sure my appointment went well and tell me to have a nice day. Im very pleased with my experience with this office and would gladly recommend them to family and friends.

Staff was not friendly at all. Dentist came in didnt even say hello! Let alone going over everything they were going to do to me. All she did was come in and stick that needle in my gums....to make it numb. I have been to many dentists and this was my worst experience ever. Will not be back.

I didnt review right away, so Id have a few experiences to look back on. After 4 visits at least, 2 cleanings and 2 fillings, I can safely say this is a great location. Just got back from a filling with Dr. Nygren and Michael and while a little numb Im happy as can be: the staff is kind, and relaxed, taking a lot of the stress out of the whole experience.

Came here to have wisdom teeth pulled. Im on a budget and they definitely treated me like it. They rushed everything about the procedure, gave 1 word answers to every question. I got out in record time, which is normally welcome except they neglected to tell me how much blood I lost.... Thank God I made it inside that Safeway before I passed out on floor. They called to make sure I wasnt going to sue them and havent heard anything since.

I would recommend Dr. Nygen and his staff to anyone. I found them via Google search by chance and it turned out to be such a blessing. Im terrified of dentists, had a tooth ache, needed an extraction, crowns, and a deep cleaning. They got me in quicker than expected and Dr. Nygen did my extraction and it was easy 1-2-3, and Dr. Kumar, the hygienist was so compassionate and so patient with me, that I couldn’t thank him enough, I wish I gave them both hugs before leaving. I felt no pain during either procedure. This is definitely a great dentistry for any one who has a fear of dentists.

After many issues with my prior dental office I called Absolute Dental, and I was able to be seen the following week, my emergency appointment was taken care and they were extremely helpful with knowing what was going on.Dr. Amy Nygren is my absolute favorite. She walked me through the process step by step, made me feel extremely comfortable (I normally have high anxiety from dental work) and kept everything professional but relaxed enough that I was very comfortable. As a patient with anxiety for dental work, this was extremely amazing to me.The prices were very reasonable for a cash pay patient, and I am extremely thrilled with how they not only texted me a few days prior to each appointment, but even called me personally the day before to remind me that I had an appointment.This office is amazing! The entire dental team is so much better than any other office I’ve attended.Thanks Dr. Nygren, and staff for your help in fixing my emergent issue and getting me back on track to a beautiful smile! 💜
